Abstract

The integration in this research is a combination of strategies and learning methods in an effort to improve learning of kalam that accommodates differences in the dominance of students learning styles, visual, aditorial, and kinesthetic. This research is a qualitative research, the researchers go directly to the field of research to explore deeper learning integration models based on student learning styles. This research was conducted at UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya with the sampling of research students of the 1st semester of Arabic Language Education Program. The results of this study, researchers found nine integration: 1) integration of Jigsaw strategies and ta’bir suwar; 2) integration of think pair share strategies and thoriqoh mubasyarah; 3) integration of effective debate strategies and thariqoh mubsyarah; 4) integration of card sort strategies and khibroh mutsiroh; 5) integration of everyone is teacher strategies and ta’bir ara’ al-roisiyyah; 6) integration of the power of two strategies and muhadtasah; 7) integration of active knowledge strategies and muhadatsah; 8) integration of small group strategies and ittisholiyah; 9) integration of gallery/poster session strategies and ittisholiyyah.

Abstract

A method in teaching Arabic as a second language is an important tool to meet learning goals and deliver the subject. This study aims to describe the implementation of the Counseling Learning Method (CLM) in Arabic teaching for new students in a university. It investigates the implementation of CLM to improve Arabic speaking skills and the obstacles in it. A qualitative approach is used in this research through observation, interview, and documentation during the Arabic teaching on “Kalam li al Mubtadiin” subject. The Participants of this research are twenty-one first-year students and a lecturer of the Arabic education department at Islamic State University of Sunan Ampel Surabaya. The collected data is processed and analyzed with data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. After that, the results are narrated. The results showed that all stages of CLM implementation, except the discussion stage, were well done, i.e. reflection, recorded conversations, transcriptions, language analysis, and free conversation. The discussion stage was still not running optimally because of some factors including the lack of vocabulary in speaking and the technical obstacles during the recording process.

Abstract

This study used the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method with a two-cycle design and involved 31 students in class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Cipunagara. The purpose of this study was to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects. Research data were collected using observation instruments, interviews, documentation, and formative tests. The results showed that in the pre-cycle, the average student learning outcomes were 69.12 with the level of achievement of Learning Objective Achievement Criteria (KKTP) 58.06%. After the application of the Role Playing method, there was a significant increase in cycle I, with a teacher activity score of 84, student activity of 75, and KKTP achievement increased to 64.51%. In cycle II, student learning outcomes increased more significantly with an average score of 89.19 and KKTP achievement of 90.32%. The teacher activity score also increased to 88.89, while student activity reached 87.50. This success is due to the active interaction of students, group discussions, and roles in learning scenarios that help students understand the material more deeply and applicatively. The conclusion in this study is that the Role Playing method is an effective learning strategy to improve PAI learning outcomes and instill character values.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan informasi bahwa instagram dapat dijadikan media untuk pembelajaran kosa kata bahasa arab melalui fitur instagram dan beberapa akun yang berisi materi pembelajaran bahasa arab yang menarik. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif, yang menggunakan metode deskriptif, dengan memberikan paparan dan deskripsi melalui kata-kata secara jelas dan rinci. Sumber data diperoleh baik dari buku, jurnal, artikel, dan hasil penelitian lainnya yang berkaitan dengan artikel yang terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa instagram dapat menjadi strategi yang baik dalam pembelajaran, khususnya untuk membantu peserta didik dalam menghafal kosa kata bahasa arab (mufrodat). Pembelajaran bahasa arab bisa melalui fitur dan akun instagram sehingga bisa membuat pembelajaran lebih menarik dan tidak membosankan, salah satunya dengan menambahkan gambar atau video dan menambah kosa kata bahasa arab serta arti di feeds instagram, lalu menambahkan pertanyaan serta menyediakan jawaban dalam fitur question box, maka yang pengikut atau siswa yang mengakses instagram tersebut bisa mempelajarai serta menjawab. Dengan ini penonton atau peserta didik yang ikut menjawab akan dapat menambah kosa kata yang dimiliknya ketika pertanyaan dan jawaban yang sediakan seputar dengan kosa kata atau makna kalimat bahasa arab. namun instagram juga memiliki kelebihan dan kekurangan, diantara kelebihannya yaitu banyaknya fitur yang menarik sehingga pembelajaran kosa kata lebih menarik, kemudian diantara kurangannya adalah durasi tayang pada instagram story dimana hanya bertahan 24 jam setelah itu konten akan hilang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan karakteristik alih kode dan campur kode dalam tuturan siswa-siswi keturunan Indonesia dan menganalisis bagaimana alih kode dan campur kode terjadi dalam komunikasi lisan oleh siswa-siswi yang berlokasi di Sekolah Indonesia Jeddah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu menggunakan metode simak yang dilanjutkan dengan teknik simak bebas libat cakap, dan wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat fenomena alih kode dan campur kode yang mana peristiwa ini membentuk pola khas, yaitu menggunakan bahasa arab amiyah yang digunakan bersama dengan bahasa indonesia. Faktor-faktor yang melatar belakangi terjadinya fenomena ini diantaranya adalah bahasa mayoritas, mitra bicara, bahasa ibu, dan pendidikan.

Abstract

Purpose- This research aims to describe the process of assisting the matriculation of Arabic competence at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 1 Pasuruan. Design/Methodology/Approach- This research was conducted to add to the treasures of community assistance with the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) approach. The method used in this mentoring process uses the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) approach with a five-step method, namely Discovery, Dream, Design, Define, Destiny. qualitative data collection is done by observation, interviews and documentation. Sources of data are teachers and students as well as assistants. While the collected data is processed and analyzed using data reduction flow, data display and conclusion drawing. Findings- The results of the assistance show that the Arabic language competency matriculation assistance at MAN 1 Pasuruan was carried out in five stages, namely Discovery, Dream, Design, Define, Destiny. Every stage of this assistance is carried out properly. While the results of this assistance are also very good, where students are able to explore the competencies they have and all of them follow the process of this activity properly. So that they are able to take part in Arabic language competitions both held by local madrasas and on a wider scale.  Research Limitations/Implications- This research is limited to facilitation of Arabic competency matriculation at MAN 1 Pasuruan. This matriculation assistance focuses on efforts to increase the competency of students in mastering Arabic language skills which are focused on preparation for participating in various Arabic language competitions.

Abstract

This research addresses the gap between traditional grammar instruction, which often leads to student boredom and low syntactic mastery, and the need for interactive, applied language practice. This study aimed to measure the effectiveness of integrating the Translation Method with Interactive E-Whiteboard Media on enhancing the mastery of tarkīb nahwī in writing skills among seventh-grade students at MTs Darul Ulum Waru Sidoarjo. Utilizing a quantitative quasi-experimental design with a Non-Equivalent Control Group, the sample consisted of 60 students (30 experimental, 30 control). Data were collected using a validated tarkīb nahwī test, focusing on mubtada’ mu’akhkhar and khabar muqaddam, and analyzed using the Independent Sample T-test and Two-way ANOVA. The results showed a highly significant difference in post-test scores (t=-19.012, Sig. 0.000), confirming the substantive effectiveness of the E-Whiteboard method. This improvement is attributed to dynamic visualization and real-time feedback, which accelerate the cognitive integration of form and meaning. This study contributes a transformative teaching model for Arabic grammar and recommends its adoption by teachers, while suggesting future research use mixed-methods and longitudinal designs on more complex syntax patterns.   Keywords: Interactive E-Whiteboard, Translation Method, Tarkīb Nahwī, Writing Skills

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesulitan peserta didik dalam menulis kalimat bahasa Arab, mencakup aspek linguistik dan non-linguistik. Kesulitan utama meliputi penguasaan tata bahasa, kosakata, dan kemampuan menghubungkan huruf Arab. Faktor utama yang menyebabkan kesulitan adalah perbedaan sistem penulisan antara bahasa Arab dan Latin, termasuk arah penulisan serta variasi bentuk huruf. Selain itu, minimnya latar belakang pendidikan bahasa Arab peserta didik turut memengaruhi kemampuan mereka. Untuk mengatasi tantangan ini, diperlukan strategi pembelajaran yang efektif serta dukungan dari guru dan orang tua. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, melalui tahapan pengumpulan, reduksi, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran bahasa Arab di Indonesia menghadapi berbagai kendala, baik dari sisi linguistik seperti tata bahasa dan kosakata, maupun non-linguistik seperti motivasi dan lingkungan belajar. Solusi yang diusulkan mencakup latihan konsisten, bimbingan intensif, dan penggunaan metode pengajaran yang relevan untuk membantu peserta didik menguasai keterampilan menulis dalam bahasa Arab. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam memperbaiki metode pengajaran bahasa Arab agar peserta didik dapat mencapai kompetensi yang diharapkan.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of using audiovisual media on improving the maharah istima’ (listening skills) of seventh-grade students at MTs Darul Ulum Waru Sidoarjo. The background of this research highlights the importance of mastering maharah istima’ in Arabic language learning and the need for innovative, engaging, and interactive learning media. The research employed a quantitative method with a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. The study was conducted at MTs Darul Ulum Waru Sidoarjo involving 30 seventh-grade students as subjects. Data were collected through maharah istima’ ability tests and observation of student learning activities. The instrument used was a validated Arabic listening comprehension test. Data analysis utilized the paired sample t-test with the assistance of SPSS software to determine whether there was a significant difference between pretest and posttest results. The results showed an increase in the students' average scores from 73.23 in the pretest to 86.57 in the posttest. Hypothesis testing with the paired sample t-test revealed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant effect of audiovisual media on students’ maharah istima’ abilities. Therefore, audiovisual media proved to have a significant impact as a learning medium that enhances students’ listening skills in Arabic.
