Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa dalam memahami materi secara maksimal menggunakan media Microsoft Power Point. Penelitian tindakan kelas siklus I dan II. Subjek siswa kelas IV SD Inpres Gudang Arang. Teknik yang digunakan pengumpulan data  tes dan observasi. Hasil belajar siswa pada siklus II terlihat pada diagram. ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa 88% atau 22 siswa mendapat nilai > 70 yang tidak tuntas sebesar 12% 3 siswa memiliki nilai < 70. Rata¬-rata secara klasikal mengalami peningkatan sebesar 21 dari siklus I yaitu 69 menjadi 78 pada siklus II.

Abstract

The research aims to improve science learning outcomes by using realia media for fourth-grade students of SD Negeri 2 Merauke. Classroom Action Research in cycle I and cycle II. The results of cycle I 2.87 and cycle II 3.53 are very good, student activities in cycle I 2.40 and cycle II 3.40 are good categories and learning outcomes. The first cycle is 64.9 good category and the second cycle is 71.83 good category. Cycle I 53.33 and cycle II 100% very good category. Based on these results, that improves student learning outcomes in heat transfer material.

Abstract

STEM merupakan salah satu jenis pendekatan yang menggabungkan sains, teknologi, teknik dan matematika dalam kegiatan belajar siswa. Telah dilakukan survey kepada guru IPA SMP Muhammadiyah Kartosentanan sudah mengetahui apa itu pendekatan STEM akan tetapi masuh kesulitan dalam pengaplikasianya dalam PBM. Pendampingan yang telah dilakukan terdadap kepada guru IPA sebagai berikut: 1) mengadakan FGD pada guru IPA, 2) mengadakan BIMTEK mengenai STEM, 3) mengembangkan RPP berbasis STEM, 4) mengevaluasi, 5) melakukan revisi RPP yang telah dikembangkan oleh guru. Beberapa guru telah mampu mengembangkan RPP dengan kategori sangat baik sebesar 67% dan 33% lainya masuk dalam kategori baik. Hasil pengembangan RPP yang telah dilakukan dapat dijadikan prototype dalam pembelajaran STEM

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to create a Problem Based Learning approach integrated with Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), especially in the field of Physics. The goal is to improve students' creative thinking skills in learning about temperature and heat. The resulting Student Worksheets will be designed to be valid, practical, and effective. This study involves research and development activities using a 4-D model consisting of the stages of definition, design, development, and dissemination. This research was conducted at SMP Muhammadiyah Kartosentanan in the 2023/2024 academic year. Data collection was carried out through the use of validation sheets, student questionnaires, and test devices. Furthermore, data was collected using the N-Gain formula. PBL-STEM-based student worksheets were considered valid by the media validator with an agreement of 96%, the material validator 89%, and the instrument validator 95%. The feasibility analysis shows that the PBL-STEM-based student worksheets produced are very practical for students to use, as evidenced by the N-Gain results of 0.92 with a high category. This study concludes that the student worksheets developed based on PBL-STEM are valid, practical, and useful in improving students' creative thinking skills

Abstract

Similar things have also been done to support the implementation of the previous curriculum, namely the School Unit Level Curriculum and the 2023 Curriculum. This study aims to compare the quality of physics textbooks recognized by the Government in the 2013 Curriculum and the Independent Curriculum. The textbooks used as samples in this study are the 11th grade physics textbooks based on the 2013 Curriculum written by Sunardi, Paramitha Retno P., and Andreas B. Dermawan in 2016 published by Yrama Widya and the physics textbooks based on the Independent Curriculum written by Marianna Magdalena Radjawane, Alvius Tinambunan and, Suntar Jono in 2022 published by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology. This study uses a qualitative research approach, through literature studies. Data collection was carried out by tracing various library sources related to physics teaching materials for class XI semester I. Data processing was carried out using a comparative descriptive method which includes the method of presenting material, depth of material, novelty of content and evaluation instruments. From the results of the analysis, it was found that the physics textbook for class XI of the 2013 curriculum had better quality compared to the physics textbook for class XI of the Merdeka Curriculum both in terms of indicators of material presentation, depth of material, novelty of content and evaluation instruments.

Abstract

This study explores enhancing students' critical thinking skills by applying a STEM-centered problem-based learning (PBL-STEM) model. It evaluates students’ responses to this pedagogical approach. A quasi-experimental design with a static group pretest-posttest framework was employed, involving secondary school students from Merauke City. The instrument used for data collection was a Critical Thinking Ability Test, which included 10 essay questions covering six subtopics related to temperature and heat and incorporated five indicators of critical thinking. The test's reliability, as measured by Cronbach's alpha, was 0.739. Additionally, student responses to the PBL-STEM method were gathered through questionnaires. Data were analyzed both descriptively and inferentially. The results indicated that implementing PBL-STEM was effective, significantly improving students' critical thinking skills, with an N-gain of 0.824, classified as high. Furthermore, the significance test revealed that the enhancement in critical thinking through PBL-STEM was greater than that achieved through traditional PBL methods.

Abstract

This community service aims to implement the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model through blended learning by integrating Papua’s local wisdom, as a result of collaborative efforts between lecturers and teachers, to enhance students’ Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). The specific objectives include: (1) developing sustainable partnerships between lecturers, school teachers, and industry practitioners as end-users of graduates; (2) improving lecturers’ pedagogical competence in shaping Pancasila student profiles; (3) fostering a professional learning community through the application of lesson study principles; (4) discovering innovative and contextual learning models aligned with higher education demands; and (5) increasing research output and publications involving lecturers, schools, and industry. The method used was a collaborative action approach involving PBL socialization, lesson planning, implementation, and reflection conducted over two months. Activities were carried out through blended learning formats and were focused on contextual content based on local Papuan potential. The program involved 6 lecturers and 8 high school teachers, and was attended by 60 students. Results show a significant improvement in students’ HOTS as observed in project outcomes and reflection sessions. Additionally, participating lecturers reported improved pedagogical collaboration and cross-sector engagement. In conclusion, the program effectively strengthened lecturer–practitioner collaboration, enhanced HOTS through localized PBL, and fostered professional growth despite time constraints and logistical challenges. The short implementation period prompted participants to adapt quickly, contributing to increased agility and innovation in lesson design.

Abstract

Kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan dan inovasi mempengaruhi kemajuan pendidikan di Indonesia. Keadaan Indonesia saat ini diwarnai oleh kurangnya sumber daya manusia (SDM) yang kompeten. Pendidikan yang bermutu membantu siswa mengembangkan nilai-nilai yang dibutuhkan untuk hidup. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sebagai upaya penerapan pendekatan PBL berbasis STEM di kelas VII SMP IT Ibnu Sina. Pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uraian soal berbasis berpikir kritis sebanyak 10 soal. Instrumen yang akan digunakan telah divalidasi. Hasil validasi ahli terhadap soal memperoleh skor rata-rata sebesar 91,55%. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada indikator interpretasi memperoleh skor rata-rata sebesar 64% sehingga dapat diinterpretasikan dalam kategori baik. Pada indikator analisis diperoleh skor rata-rata sebesar 64% sehingga dapat diinterpretasikan dalam kategori baik. Pada indikator simpulan diperoleh skor rata-rata sebesar 64% sehingga termasuk dalam kategori baik. Begitu pula pada indikator evaluasi, nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh siswa sebesar 60% yang termasuk dalam kategori cukup. Begitu pula pada indikator elaborasi, nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh siswa sebesar 60% yang dapat diartikan dalam kategori cukup.

Abstract

Ibnu Sina Middle School Merauke is one of the secondary schools in Merauke Regency which has been providing education and teaching since 2019. As a newly established school, one of the problems experienced by this school is the lack of use of the latest interactive learning media in the science learning process. Based on studies related to these errors, it was found that science learning in class still uses the conventional one-way lecture method so that science learning is considered boring and less interesting according to students. This has an impact on students' low science learning outcomes. It was then found that the minimal use of learning media in science learning was caused by teachers' lack of knowledge of interactive learning media that could be used in the science learning process in the classroom. So it is hoped that this service activity can introduce science teachers and other subject teachers at Ibnu Sina Middle School how to use web-based interactive learning media in the classroom learning process so that lessons become more interesting, more lively, more active and more meaningful which will have an impact. on improving students' science learning outcomes at school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemecahan masalah mahasiswa Teknik Informatika Universitas Musamus Merauke tahun ajaran 2022/2023 pada materi kinematika. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survey dengan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa soal tes yang terdiri dari lima nomor soal uraian yang udah terintegrasi dengan indikator pemecahan masalah tipe doctor. Hasil penelitian menunjukan kemampuan mahasiswa mengerjakan soal pemecahan masalah masih berda pada level rendah. Mahasiswa yang mampu penyelesaikan masalah hingga tahapan logical progression untuk soal nomor 1 sebesar 44%, untuk soal nomor 2 sebesar 41,8%, untuk soal nomor 3, 4 dan 5 sebesar 46,5%. Mahasiswa mampu menyelesaikan tahapan pemecahan masalah usefull description, dan physics approach dengan baik dan mahasiswa belum mampu menyelesaikan masalah dengan baik pada tahapan indikator specific application of physics, mathematical procedures, logical progression.
