Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of biomechanics courses that have low success rates. Based on this reason, improvements will be made in the lecture process, thereby increasing learning outcomes that can reach theminimum standard (KKM). Success in lectures is the achievement of learning outcomes that achieve the minimum standard (KKM) value determined by the study program. This type of research is a classroom action research study with students of physical education and recreation study programs that attend biomechanics lectures 40 students and lecturers supporting biomechanics courses. The results showed that pre-cycle students were able to finish learning 15%, in cycle 1 50%, and at the end of period 2 95%. Basedon this fact, motion analysis based on the Android Coach Eye application based on biomechanics courses has improved the learning outcomes of FKIP PJKR students at Bengkulu University.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of plyometric depth jump training on leg muscle power in volleyball extracurricular participants at SMP Negeri 20 Bengkulu City. This type of research is quantitative with the method used is the experimental method and the research design uses one group pre-test and post-test design. The sample from this research was the volleyball extracurricular participants at SMP Negeri 20 Bengkulu City with a total of 10 students. Data collection uses the vertical jump test. The research showed significant results in terms of influence from the average pretest result of 35.7 followed by treatment and then the average posttest result was 48.4. Data analysis in this research uses prerequisite tests, namely the Normality test, Homogeneity test, and influence test. The statistical requirements test meets the homogeneity requirements and the data is normally distributed based on statistical calculations, the results obtained from the t-count data are 26.12 > t-table 1.83. Based on the research results, it was concluded that there was a significant effect of plyometric depth jump training on leg muscle power in volleyball extracurricular participants at SMP Negeri 20 Bengkulu City after being given the treatment 16 times.

Abstract

Kondisi fisik menjadi prasyarat utama bagi tercapainya prestasi optimal bagi atlet pada setiap cabang olahraga tanpa terkecuali atletik. Tujuan utama dari penulisan artikel ini adalah menganalisis tingkat kondisi fisik atlet atletik putra di PPLP Provinsi Bengkulu. Untuk mencapai tujuan penelitian yang telah ditetapkan maka dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian merupakan seluruh atlet atletik putra dengan jumlah 7 atlet. Teknik dan instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, tes, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data meggunakan triangulasi data. Kondisi fisik atlet atletik putra pada setiap indikator disajikan pada tabel dikethaui bahwa secara umum berada pada kategori baik. Secara sistematis komponen daya tahan, kekuatan otot perut, power otot tungkai, kecepatan, dan kelentukan berada pada kategori baik. Sementara itu dua aspek lainnya yaitu kekuatan otot lengan dan keseimbangan berada pada kategori sangat baik. Merujuk pada hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kondisi fisik kondisi fisik atlet atletik putra di PPLP Provinsi Bengkulu berada pada kategori baik

Abstract

Kebugaran jasmani menjadi prasyarat yang harus dimiliki oleh atlet. Namun, tidak semua atlet berupaya untuk menjaga dan mengoptimalkan kebugaran jasmani yang dimilikinya. Penelitian ini berupaya untuk mengungkapkan kebugaran jasmani yang dimiliki oleh atlet basket putra federasi olahraga keguruan dan ilmu pendidikan Universitas Bengkulu pada tahun 2023. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut maka digunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sebanyak 10 atlet putra menjadi populasi dalam penelitian ini. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik total sehingga 10 atlet ditetapkan menjadi sampel penelitian. Data yang dibutuhkan dalam penelitian dikumpulkan menggunakan tes kebugaran jasmani. Analsisi data menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komponen kecepatan, kekuatan otot perut, dan daya tahan berada pada level baik. Sedangkan komponen kekuatan otot lengan, dan power otot tungkai berada pada kategori sedang. Berlandaskan pada hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa level kebugaran jasmani atlet basket putra dalam level baik. Dari hasil penelitian ini direkomendasikan kepada pelatih fisik federasi olahraga keguruan dan ilmu pendidikan Universitas Bengkulu untuk meningkatkan kebugaran jasmani atlet pada komponen kekuatan otot lengan dan power otot tungkai.

Abstract

The success of the physical education learning process is determined by the teachers’ professional competence. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to evaluate the level of professional competence of physical education teachers in Bengkulu Province, with the main objective being to describe and determine the level of professional competence of teachers and the differences based on several variables, namely gender, teaching location, and teaching experience. A quantitative descriptive method was implemented in this study to achieve the research objectives. The research sample was 49 physical education teachers in Bengkulu Province. Techniques and instruments for collecting research data were in the form of receipts which were distributed via GoogleForm. An Independent sample t-test was used to analyze data regarding differences in the professional competence of physical education teachers based on gender. Meanwhile, one-way ANOVA was used to analyze differences in the professional competence of physical education teachers based on teaching location and teaching experience. The results of this study indicated that physical education teachers in Bengkulu Province have a very high level of professional competence, and there were no differences in teachers' professional competence based on gender, teaching location, or teaching experience. The limitations of this research included the involvement of a relatively small number of samples, the restriction of samples to public schools, and a lack of diversity in the sample variations. For further research, it is advisable to involve a larger number of samples from private schools and islamic schools. It was also recommended that physical education teachers develop competence in conducting classroom action research.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of a reciprocal teaching style in volleyball courses. Reciprocal teaching style is a teaching style by forming groups with one member of the group having an advantage in the material to be given. The type of research that will be carried out is classroom action research. So the results of this research cannot be generalized. The subjects of this research were 3rd semester students, totaling 43 students. The data collection technique uses an observation sheet. The results of this research show that a reciprocal teaching style makes a positive contribution to the student learning process in volleyball courses. These results were obtained after observers and colleagues observed and discussed the results of observations that occurred during the action. From the results of observations before the action was given, there were 37.87% who responded well to the lecture, and after the action was given there was an increase, namely; 63.12% of students are active in lectures. It can be concluded that the reciprocal teaching style contributes to improving the volleyball teaching process.

Abstract

Abstract:Background of Study The Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia has developed an E-Learning platform to advance educational technology and promote the digitalization of learning in madrasahs. Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri (MTsN) 3 South Bengkulu has adopted this system; however, its implementation has not yet reached an optimal level due to various infrastructural and pedagogical challenges. Aims and Scope This study investigates the challenges and opportunities associated with the use of E-Learning at MTsN 3 South Bengkulu, with a specific focus on its application in conducting learning evaluations. The scope encompasses identifying barriers, evaluating institutional readiness, and proposing feasible strategies for improvement. MethodsA descriptive research design was employed, integrating qualitative and quantitative approaches. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and questionnaires, and analyzed using data triangulation to ensure validity and reliability. ResultsThe study identified several obstacles to effective E-Learning implementation: limited access to digital devices, unstable internet connectivity, inadequate technological readiness among teachers and students, low student motivation, insufficient understanding of online learning, unsupportive home learning environments, and a lack of parental support in providing technological resources. Opportunities include enhancing digital literacy, integrating interactive learning activities, and strengthening stakeholder collaboration. ConclusionSuccessful E-Learning implementation in madrasahs requires coordinated efforts among government bodies, educational institutions, and private stakeholders. Recommendations include expanding device access, providing targeted digital literacy training, and designing engaging online learning strategies to optimize both instructional delivery and evaluation processes.

Abstract

Physical Education has a strategic role in developing students' physical fitness and building non-technical skills (soft skills) that are very much needed in the 21st century. The purpose of this study is to systematically examine the contribution of Physical Education in developing students' soft skills through literature studies. The research method uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach with PRISMA guidance. Data were collected from the Google Scholar and Scopus databases using the keywords "Physical Education", "Soft Skills", and "Students" for publications in 2013–2023. Of the 126 articles found, 15 met the inclusion criteria for further analysis. This literature study indicates that Physical Education plays an important role in building students' soft skills, such as leadership, teamwork, communication, self-control, and problem-solving. Various learning models such as Sport Education, Cooperative Learning, traditional games, and adaptive Physical Education have proven effective in developing these skills. However, developing soft skills through Physical Education still faces obstacles, including limited teacher competence, inadequate facilities and infrastructure, and limited learning time. In addition, there is still a research gap related to using technology-based models and longitudinal studies to see the long-term impact. Physical Education can potentially strengthen students' soft skills if it is supported by learning innovation, teacher capacity building, and a curriculum responsive to students' character development needs.

Abstract

Study purpose. Adaptation is very important for student development, especially in the academic field. This study aims to describe the level of ability of physical education students in adapting to the academic environment in 2023. Materials and Methods. Quantitative research methods were used to achieve the research objectives. A total of 54 physical education students were part of the research sample. The research data was accommodated using an instrument in the form of a questionnaire distributed online via a google form link. Quantitative data analysis using ideal standards and ideal mean values was used to determine the classification of student adaptability. Results. The results showed that 11 students had very high adaptability, 29 students had high ability, 13 students had moderate ability, 1 student had low ability, and no students had very low ability. Conclusions. Based on the results found, it can be concluded that the adaptability of Physical Education students is dominantly in the high category.
