Abstract

Al-Qur’ān is the holy book as a guide for people in any condition. This including the COVID-19 pandemic that has spread across the world. This article aims to outline the message in the Qur'ān about work ethic during the Covid-19 pandemic. This article is a literature review study with the Maudhui method of the Qur'ān verses related to work ethic. It was using content analysis. The study showed that even though the pandemic is taking place, Muslims are still obliged to work because Allah expressly commands them to work. God's commandment is that humans carry out work according to their ability and earnestly for life in the world and a provision in the hereafter because work is an act of jihad fisabillah.

Abstract

The sun and moon are celestial bodies that play an important role in human life. The sun and moon move in a way called their orbit, which rotates on their axis, the moon orbits the earth and the sun, while orbiting the center of the Milky Way. Astronomers have found many continuity of information conveyed by the Qur'an, especially about the orbit of the moon and the sun which is widely conveyed by the Qur'an. The Qur'an discusses many concepts of the orbit of the moon and the sun from several verses in the Qur'an. The research study on this research concept uses scientific interpretation as a support in understanding the concept of orbit according to that in the Qur'an.

Abstract

Desa Pengadangan merupakan salah satu desa yang ada di Kecamatan Pringgasela, Kabupaten Lombok Timur, Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat. Desa dengan luas wilayah sekitar 84,53 km2 ini merupakan desa yang memiliki berbagai potensi baik dari sumber daya alam terutama dengan produksi pisang yang melimpah. Namun sayangnya, pengolahan usaha pisang tersebut tidak berjalan dengan lancar karena kurangnya kecakapan sumber daya manusia dalam memanajemen dan memasarkan produk dari usaha tersebut seperti perizinan, label kemasan serta standarisasi produk pemasaran). Kegiatan KKN membantu dalam pembentukan kelompok UMKM sebagai dasar terlaksananya produksi skala besar yang memiliki izin terkait distribusi produk serta dapat mewadahi masyarakat setempat melalui Pemasaran Kreatif dengan menggunakan sosial media sebagai media promosi. Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini ialah untuk memberdayakan dan mengembangkan hasil dari sumber daya alam khususnya pada sektor pertanian sebagai wujud ketahanan pangan di Desa Pengadangan. Selain itu dapat meningkatkan keterampilan SDM (Sumber Daya Manusia) dan memajukan UMKM (Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah) yang ada di Desa Pengadangan. Adapun program yang akan dilaksanakan terdiri dari program kerja utama dimana program utama terdiri dari; sosialisasi dan pelatihan olahan sale pisang, pengemasan dan pelabelan olahan sale pisang, perizinan olahan sale pisang, promosi dan pemasaran olahan sale pisang, serta monitoring. Tolak ukur keberhasilan dari program ini adalah masyarakat dapat memahami cara pengolahan hasil pertanian sehingga memiliki nilai jual yang sudah didistribusikan lebih lanjut. Desa Pengadangan is one of the villages in Pringgasela District, East Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province. This village, with an area of about 84.53 km2 is a village that has various good potentials from natural resources, especially with abundant banana production. But unfortunately, the processing of the banana business did not run smoothly due to the lack of human resource skills in managing and marketing products from the business such as licensing, packaging labels and marketing product standardization). KKN activities assist in the formation of MSME groups as the basis for large-scale production that has permits related to product distribution and can accommodate local communities through Creative Marketing by using social media as a promotional medium. The purpose of this community service was to empower and develop natural resources products, especially in the agricultural sector as a form of food security in Pengadangan Village. In addition, it can improve Human Resources (HR) skills and advance MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) in Pengadangan Village. To be implemented consists of the main work program where the main program consists of: Socialization and training on processed of dried banana “sale”, packaging and labeling processed dried banana “sale”, licensing processed sale banana, promotion and marketing processed dried banana “sale”, and monitoring. The benchmark for the success of this program is that the community can understand how to process agricultural products so that they have a selling value that has been further distributed.

Abstract

This paper examines the miracle (i’jaz) of the Qur'an in the context of the creation of the heavens and the earth, focusing on the interpretation of Surah Al-Anbiya Verse 30 and its relevance to the Big Bang theory. This study aims to show the harmony between the teachings of the Qur'an and modern scientific discoveries. The method used is a qualitative method with a text analysis approach and literature review, the interpretations used as references include the Tafsir Al-Azhar by Buya Hamka. The results of this study reveal that the Big Bang Theory is in line with the explanation contained in QS. al-Anbiya' [21]: 30. In this verse, it is explained that the process of the creation of the earth began with the heavens and the earth uniting, then Allah separated the two. Meanwhile, in the Big Bang theory, the creation of the universe began with an explosion that produced matter, energy, planets, and various other elements. Although there are differences in the method of delivery, both the Qur'an and the Big Bang theory provide a deep understanding of the origins of the universe.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang salahsatu tokoh filsafat muslim yakni Fazlur Rahman terhadap makna mujmal, mubayyan atau metode tafsir al-Quran dalam pemikiran Fazlur Rahman yang merupakan tokoh pembaharu pemikiran Islam yang lahir dari madzhab Hanafi. Sebagai seorang pemikir, Fazlur Rahman mempunyai rasa kepedulian yang begitu tinggi dalam menghidupkan khazanah keilmuan Islam dengan cara menafsir kembali Islam dengan cara mengkaji al-Quran secara kontekstual. Kemudian tokoh orientalis Angelika Neuwirth (sarjana-sarjana barat yang mengkaji serta mendalami ketimuran) dengan mendirikan atau membentuk proyek Corpus Coranicum upaya memberikan kontribusi signifikan bagi studi al-Qur’an dan pengembangan pemahaman yang lebih konfrehensif mengenai kitab suci umat Islam terhadap studi al-Quran terutama halnya dengan makna mujmal dan mubayyan yang dimana mujmal ini merupakan bentuk lafadz atau dalil yang bersifat global, terperinci atau ringkas kemudian memerlukan bayyan yaitu penjelasan sehingga menjadi mubayyan atau dengan kata lain menjadi jelas.

Abstract

The transformation of Qur'anic exegesis methodology through digital platforms has revolutionized the way the science of tafsir is conveyed and received by the public. The limitations of accessibility and interactivity in traditional methods, which rely on oral and written explanations, have necessitated a new, more engaging, and interactive approach through digital technology. The purpose of this research is to analyze and evaluate the methodology of Qur'anic interpretation used in the tafsir studies on the YouTube channel "Kajian Tafsir Al-Ma'rifah" by Musthafa Umar. This study is descriptive qualitative research utilizing a literature review method. Primary data was collected from the tafsir study videos on the "Kajian Tafsir Al-Ma'rifah" YouTube channel, while secondary data was obtained from textbooks, scholarly articles, and relevant tafsir books. The findings of the research indicate that the use of visual and audio elements in the tafsir videos enhances understanding and information retention among the audience. Additionally, interactive features such as comments, likes, and shares create a dynamic dialogue between the interpreter and the audience, strengthening engagement and participation in the learning process. Digital technology, through platforms like YouTube, not only facilitates access to Qur'anic exegesis but also enriches its delivery methods, making it more inclusive and effective in reaching a global audience. This research contributes to the literature on the transformation of tafsir methodology in the digital era and provides practical recommendations for the development of dakwah through digital platforms.Abstrak: Transformasi metodologi penyajian tafsir Al-Qur'an melalui platform digital telah mengubah cara penyampaian dan penerimaan ilmu tafsir di kalangan masyarakat. Keterbatasan aksesibilitas dan interaktivitas dalam metode tradisional yang mengandalkan penjelasan lisan dan tulisan mendorong perlunya pendekatan baru yang lebih menarik dan interaktif melalui teknologi digital. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dan mengevaluasi metodologi penafsiran Al-Qur'an yang digunakan dalam kajian tafsir di channel YouTube Kajian Tafsir Al-Ma'rifah oleh Musthafa Umar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi kepustakaan. Data primer diambil dari video-video kajian tafsir di channel YouTube Kajian Tafsir Al-Ma'rifah, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari buku-buku teks, artikel ilmiah, dan kitab-kitab tafsir yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan elemen visual dan audio dalam video tafsir meningkatkan pemahaman dan retensi informasi di kalangan audiens. Selain itu, fitur interaktif seperti komentar, like, dan share menciptakan dialog yang dinamis antara penafsir dan audiens, memperkuat keterlibatan dan partisipasi dalam proses pembelajaran. Teknologi digital melalui platform seperti YouTube, tidak hanya mempermudah akses terhadap tafsir Al-Qur'an tetapi juga memperkaya metode penyampaiannya, membuatnya lebih inklusif dan efektif dalam menjangkau audiens global. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada literatur tentang transformasi metodologi tafsir di era digital dan memberikan rekomendasi praktis bagi pengembangan dakwah melalui platform digital.

Abstract

Abstract This journal explores the intertextual study of the Qur’an in relation to previous divine scriptures such as the Torah, Psalms, and Gospel, as well as its broader theological and social connections with the People of the Book, namely Jews and Christians. Employing a qualitative approach through library research, the study aims to uncover the historical and doctrinal continuity between the Qur’an and prior revelations. The Qur’an not only acknowledges the legitimacy of earlier scriptures but also offers corrections for distortions and completes the moral and theological teachings therein. Furthermore, the journal discusses how the Qur’an presents a balanced view of the People of the Book—recognizing their faith and spiritual heritage while also offering constructive critique. The findings highlight that intertextual analysis can serve as an effective tool for fostering inclusive, respectful, and theologically grounded interfaith dialogue. By identifying common ground in the messages of the revealed scriptures, intertextuality becomes a vital instrument for promoting social harmony, strengthening religious tolerance, and bridging divisions in pluralistic societies.

Abstract

Abstract: This research discusses the characteristics of the inhabitants of hell in QS al-A'raf/7: 179. This verse explains the characteristics or nature of the inhabitants of hell. This research aims to find out the nature of the characteristics of the inhabitants of hell, and what the characteristics are like. the inhabitants of hell, as well as the impact of the characteristics of the inhabitants in QS al-A'raf/7: 179. The research carried out was library research, the approaches used were an interpretive approach and a theological approach. The results of this research are First, the essence of the characteristics of the inhabitants of hell is, that they have hearts but they are not used to understand the verses of the Qur'an, they have eyes but they do not use them to see the power of Allah SWT., they have ears but they do not use them. to listen to the verses of Allah SWT. Second, related to the characteristics of the inhabitants of hell, they are said in the verse to be livestock, even lower than livestock because they do not utilize the five senses that have been given to them. Third, the impact of the characteristics of the inhabitants of hell is that they are said to be livestock, even more misguided than that, and they are negligent about what has been given to them.
