Abstract

Scientific writing is one of the language skills that needs to be developed for students. But in reality, there are still many students who have problems with writing. Based on this phenomenon, it is necessary to present a model in scientific writing. One of the models presented in this study is the CORONA model. This study aims to analyze the validity and effectiveness of the CORONA model. This research was conducted through Focus Group Discussion (FGD) from language education experts. This study applies a weak experiment, which is a pre-experimental design with one group pre-test and post-test design. The research sample consisted of two groups, each of which consisted of 26 students. Prior to learning with the CORONA model, students were given a pre-test on scientific writing skills, as well as after learning was carried out students were given the same test. Data was collected using instrument validity sheets and tests. Data on the validity and reliability of the model were analyzed by expert agreement, while data on students' scientific writing skills were analyzed by pair t-test, n-gain, and two means similarity test. The results showed that: content and construct validity were valid each category with a score of 3.3 and 3.5; and reliable with a score of 85.90% and 85.53%. In addition, the results of the study also showed that there was a significant increase in students' scientific writing skills with the mean n-gain being in the high category and not different for the two groups.

Abstract

This study investigates the implementation of Islamic Cultural History lessons at MAN 1 Poso, focusing on the use and effectiveness of audio-visual media. Conducted using a qualitative method, the research applied an ethnopedagogical approach with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed through reduction, presentation, and conclusion verification. The results indicate that Islamic Cultural History lessons are generally well-implemented, using the "Independent Curriculum" for Phases E and F and the 2013 Curriculum for Grade XII. Audio-visual media, supported by infrastructure such as LCD projectors and Wi-Fi, enhances learning. Its use in Class X E1 effectively increases students' interest and motivation. This study highlights the importance of integrating audio-visual media with appropriate teaching methods to create an engaging learning environment and achieve educational goals. These findings provide valuable insights for future research on the integration of media in Islamic Cultural History education.

Abstract

This study explores the role of the Madrasah Committee in achieving the goals of Islamic Education at Madrasah Tsanawiyah As’adiyah No. 3 Atapange. The research examines the committee's involvement in policy-making, providing intellectual and financial support, overseeing ethical programs, and facilitating students' needs. It also investigates the level of achievement of Islamic education goals, which include fostering moral behavior towards Allah SWT, fellow humans, oneself, and the environment. The study employs a qualitative approach with sociological and psychological methods, utilizing observation, interviews, and documentation to gather data. The findings reveal that the Madrasah Committee plays a significant role in supporting Islamic education, particularly in guiding students’ religious practices, ethical conduct, discipline, and environmental awareness. These contributions are integral to achieving the intended educational outcomes, including the development of students' religious and ethical values. The research emphasizes the importance of the Madrasah Committee’s active participation in the educational process, highlighting their impact on the success of Islamic education at the institution.

Abstract

This article investigates the process of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at UPTD SD Negeri 181 Bulete, Pitumpanua Subdistrict, Wajo Regency, with a focus on the students' practice of Salat and the efforts of teachers in guiding its implementation. Using a qualitative approach with pedagogical, religious, and psychological perspectives, the study analyzes primary and secondary data through interviews, observations, documentation, and questionnaires. The findings reveal that the implementation of PAI involves three key components: preparation, which includes curriculum and lesson planning; the learning process, which focuses on the teacher’s ability to explain, the use of methods, and learning media; and evaluation, including feedback, tasks, and grades. The study also shows that the practice of Salat among students is still in the learning stage, with some students accustomed to it due to guidance from teachers and parents. Teachers play a vital role in this process by providing advice, being role models, and offering motivation. This study underscores the importance of Islamic Religious Education in shaping students' religious practices, particularly in the context of Salat, and highlights the significant role of teachers in this guidance.

Abstract

This article evaluates and optimizes the implementation of teaching workshops aimed at improving the competencies of Islamic Education (PAI) lecturers in using digital technology at the Islamic Institute of As'adiyah Sengkang. The study focuses on understanding how workshops can enhance PAI lecturers' digital technology skills and identifying strategies to optimize the workshops for more effective technology adoption. A descriptive qualitative method, including interviews and observations, was used for data collection. The hermeneutic approach provided insights into the lecturers' experiences regarding the workshops and the integration of technology in teaching. Findings indicate that although the workshop materials were relevant, additional practice time and simplified content are necessary to improve lecturers' understanding. While there was a noticeable increase in competencies, technical challenges still exist, requiring continuous support. Optimizing the workshops involves adding more practice sessions, simplifying content, and offering mentorship to build lecturers' confidence in implementing digital technology effectively. This research provides valuable insights for enhancing the development of digital competencies among PAI lecturers.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the response of Islamic Religious Education students at As'adiyah Islamic University to the use of digital technology in the learning process. With the development of technology, the integration of digital media in education is very important to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of learning. The research method used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach, which aims to understand students' experiences and views in depth. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and participatory observation with 115 purposively selected data sources. The results of the study show that students have a positive response to the use of digital technology in learning. They acknowledge that digital technologies, such as online learning platforms, learning videos, and educational apps, have helped them understand the material better and make the learning process easier. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the use of digital technology has great potential to improve the quality of learning in the Islamic Religious Education environment, although technical support is still needed for students so that they can make maximum use of technology. This research is expected to provide input for curriculum development and learning strategies at As'adiyah Islamic University.

Abstract

This article discusses the role of islamic religious education teachers in improving the morals of students at satap lambuya middle school, konawe regency, southeast sulawesi province with the main problems being (1) How is the learning of Islamic Religious Education teachers in improving the morals of students at Satap Lambuya Junior High School, Konawe regency, southeast sulawesi province? (2) How to improve the morals of students at SMP Satap Lambuya, Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province? (3) What is the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in improving the morals of students at SMP Satap Lambuya, Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province? This type of research is qualitative. The location of this research is students at satap lambuya middle school, konawe regency, southeast sulawesi. The approach used is an ethnomethodological study, with data collection methods, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The data that has been collected is then analyzed in three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions and data verification. The results of the research show that Islamic religious education teachers should not only make all educational plans listed in the curriculum and learning units as the only estuary in achieving educational goals, learners are always a problem and as a focus of attention, a teacher is needed who can direct the behavior of students to achieve their learning goals, and In order to implement the Islamic Religious Education Teacher Program which has been mandated in the Vision and Mission, the role of activities carried out by Islamic religious teachers to be pioneers in implementing the moral values of students must be programmed properly and must be implemented optimally.

Abstract

This article examines santri's understanding of zakat in the digital era as well as the problems they face at Pondok Pesantren Al-Mukhlisin DDI Paria, Majauleng District, Wajo Regency. The main focus of this study is to answer three important questions: (1) How is the santri's understanding of zakat material in the digital era? (2) How is the problematic understanding faced by santri about zakat material in the digital era? (3) How is the strategy to overcome the problematic understanding of santri about zakat material in the digital era case study at Al-Mukhlisin DDI Paria Islamic Boarding School, Majauleng District, Wajo Regency? The type of research used is qualitative. The research location was at the Al-Mukhlisin DDI Paria Islamic Boarding School, Majauleng District, Wajo Regency, which was carried out for approximately 3 months. The approaches used are phenomenological, participatory, case study and educational. Methods in collecting data through observation, interviews and documentation. The research instruments used were human instruments, interview guidelines, observation guidelines and documentation record formats. After the data is collected, it is then analyzed through 3 stages, namely: data reduction, data presentation and data verification or conclusion drawing. For the validity of the research, credibility, defendability, confirmability and transperebility tests were carried out. The results showed that (1) santri understanding of zakat material in the digital era varies, some have a good understanding while others experience confusion due to lack of digital literacy and learning practices. (2) Problems in students' understanding of zakat material include difficulties in understanding zakat material, as well as limitations in the learning process meeting. (3) The strategy to overcome the problems of students' understanding, teachers are expected to not only provide basic knowledge about zakat material but also teach in the form of practice and the digital era to get information about zakat material, and guide students in dealing with changes caused in the digital era.

Abstract

The entrepreneurial spirit strengthening program for students at Modern Islamic Boarding School Al-Izzah As'adiyah Tolai was implemented to integrate Islamic values with entrepreneurial competencies. This activity aims to equip students with practical entrepreneurial skills through intensive mentoring based on measurable strategies. The method used is participatory mentoring with an experiential learning approach. Results show that 85% of students experienced increased entrepreneurial motivation and 70% were able to develop simple business plans. This program successfully created a sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystem within the boarding school environment. Recommendations for development include adding micro-business capital and establishing a student business incubator.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesulitan berbicara yang dialami oleh siswa kelas III SDN 307 Benteng dalam mengungkapkan pikiran dan perasaan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah 28 siswa kelas III SDN 307 Benteng. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi partisipatif, wawancara semi-terstruktur, dokumentasi, dan tes performansi berbicara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesulitan berbicara yang dialami siswa dapat dikelompokkan ke dalam empat kategori utama, yaitu: (1) kesulitan linguistik, meliputi keterbatasan kosakata (57%), kesalahan tata bahasa (43%), dan artikulasi yang kurang jelas (38%); (2) kesulitan kognitif, meliputi kesulitan menyusun gagasan sistematis (62%), kesulitan mengembangkan ide (54%), dan kesulitan memberikan alasan logis (49%); (3) kesulitan psikologis, meliputi rendahnya kepercayaan diri (68%), kecemasan berbicara di depan umum (59%), dan ketakutan akan penilaian negatif (51%); serta (4) kesulitan sosio-kultural, meliputi pola pengasuhan yang kurang mendukung (47%), penggunaan bahasa daerah sebagai bahasa pertama (43%), dan kurangnya stimulasi berbicara di lingkungan keluarga (39%). Penelitian ini menyimpulkan perlunya pendekatan holistik dalam pembelajaran berbicara yang mengakomodasi kebutuhan linguistik dan kognitif siswa, menciptakan lingkungan psikologis yang suportif, serta mempertimbangkan konteks sosio-kultural siswa.
