Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: menganalisis pengembangan modul matematika dengan pendekatan metakognitif untuk memfasilitasi kemandirian belajar siswa SMK Muhammadiyah Kupang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan. Lokasi yang menjadi objek penelitian adalah SMK Muhammadiyah Kupang. Subyek yang diambil pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X-A SMK Muhammadiyah Kupang. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi dan angket. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara analisis validasi dari data kuantitatif yang berasal dari lembar penilaian (validasi) dari ahli media berupa skor rata-rata kemudian diubah menjadi skala kualitatif. Hasil validasi penilaian media dan materi pada ?modul matematika dengan pendekatan metakognitif? dikatakan sangat valid dengan rata-rata 3,4. Dengan demikian bahan ajar ini sangat layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar. Hasil pengembangan modul dengan pendekatan metakognitif dapat juga dilihat dari repon siswa yaitu angket respon siswa menyebutkan bahwa didapat rata-rata 3,58 dan dapat dikategorikan mendapat respon sangat baik dari siswa. Berdasarkan kriteria keberhasilan modul dilihat dari rata-rata banyaknya siswa yang responnya sangat baik maka, media modul matematika dengan pendekatan metakognitif dapat dikatakan berhasil.

Abstract

The objectives of this study were to discover the development of mathematics modules with problem-solving strategies to assess students' mathematical creative thinking abilities, and also to describe teachers' and students' reactions to the development of mathematics modules with problem-solving strategies to assess students' mathematical creative thinking abilities. The method used in this study is Research and Development (R&D), which includes stages such as define, design, develop, and disseminate. In this study, data was collected through a validation questionnaire administered by material and media specialists, as well as small group trials and teacher response surveys.Based on the results of stage I validation by the experts, a cumulative average score of 4.08% "very good" with a cumulative score of 4.51% was obtained; in stage 2 validation, the cumulative score was 4.19% "very good" with a cumulative score of 4.68% and testing was appropriate. The result on teacher's responseachieved an average score of 4.04% with the "very good" criteria. While Seven students are in the "very creative" category between 85-100. it is indicated that the module is acceptable and suitable to be used as teaching material.ved with "very good" criteria, while the results of the students' creative thinking test obtained 89.5% with "very good" criteria. Abstract

This comparative experiment with a quantitative approach study aimed to know the effectiveness of using Sparkol VideoScribe based learning media on the students’ creative thinking ability of Muhammadiyah Kupang Junior High School. The population were all seventh-grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah Kupang, while the samples were class VIIA as the control class and class VIIC as the experimental class. The cluster random sampling technique was used in this study. The data were analyzed based on the test results and using SPSS 23 software. The researcher also examined the hypothesis using the results of t test. The tcount value was 6.768 and the ttable for df 38 was 2.024, then 6.768> 2.024. So that, H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. The hypothesis test at the 0.05 level with the t value df 38 obtained a sig value of 0.000 <0.05, then H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there was an effect of using Sparkol VideoScribe-based learning media on the students' creative thinking skills.

Abstract

This qualitative descriptive study aims to determine the mathematical errors made by students using Graded Response Models on the triangle and square materials at class VII-C SMP Negeri 5 Kupang 2022/2023. The subject of this research is class VII-C SMP Negeri 5 Kupang, while the object is the students' mathematical errors using Graded Response Models (GRM). Data were analyzed based on the test results, interview results, and documentation and using Graded Response Models (GRM). The study shows that the mathematical errors of the students in class VII-C SMP Negeri 5 Kupang are in the high, medium, and low categories. High ability students consist of 4 students, medium ability students (7 students), and low ability students (4 students).

Abstract

The objective of this study is to determine errors and causal factors in junior high school students in solving mathematical problems in comparative material. The descriptive qualitative method was used in this study. This study was conducted at SMP Muhammadiyah Kupang. Six students participated in this study, with two students having high abilities, two students having moderate abilities, and two students having low abilities. Written examinations centered on comparison material and interview results were used to collect data. The results of the tests and interviews were analyzed based on the indicators of the types of errors and the causal factors, namely: concept errors, principal errors and operational errors. The results showed that. (1) Student with high category abilities, made one mistake, namely an operation error, the subject was wrong in the process of calculating the final answer. (2) Students with moderate categories make mistakes, namely, prinsi errors, principle errors do not write comparison formulas when solving problems. (3) Students with low categories i.e. subjects commit misconceptions, i.e. subjects have difficulty in determining concepts from comparisons.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the form of students' mathematical reasoning abilities in mathematics learning at Muhammadiyah Kupang Middle School. The research uses descriptive qualitative methods with subjects determined to be 6 children with high, medium and low abilities. on class VIII A level. The data collection techniques used in this research are tests, interviews and documentation. Test sheets and interview sheets. There are three stages of data analysis techniques, namely: Question instrument analysis, Data Clarification, Conclusion drawing, and data validity. Based on the analysis, it was found that there are forms of learning difficulties mathematical reasoning students in learning mathematics (1) Difficulty in calculating squares and rectangles, triangle and quadrilateral theorems, Solving problems related to triangles and quadrilaterals, and Solving problems related to triangles so that it is difficult to work on problems. (2) Difficulty in distinguishing unit numbers, tens, hundreds and thousands, but this difficulty does not match what is experienced by students because there are students who can still work on the questions given and there are still students who still find it difficult to differentiate, (3) Weak ability to identify and solve math story problems, so that students find it difficult to do story problems. There is a fact that the self-confidence of Muhammadiyah Kupang Middle School students is quite positive, but there are still some students who still show an anxious, shy and nervous attitude when asked to answer questions from the teacher

Abstract

This classroom action research aimed to determine students’ creative thinking skills at eighth grade of C class in SMP Swasta Muhammadiyah Kupang after applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. The subjects of the study were 20 students of VIIIC. The study was conducted in one cycle through four stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The instruments in this study were observation sheets and tests. The study showed an improvement in learning activities with an average percentage of 91.25%. Based on the test results, the excellent category reached 75% (15 students), the good category with 20% (4 students), and the very poor category was 5% (1 student). Besides, students' creative thinking was increased from the precycle with fluency and flexibility indicators of 28% to 50%, originality and elaboration indicators of 11% to 39%.

Abstract

Salah satu topik yang penting dalam pembelajaran matematika adalah Teorema Pythagoras, yang memerlukan kemampuan representasi matematis yang baik agar siswa dapat memecahkan masalah dengan tepat. Model pembelajaran Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) telah diakui sebagai pendekatan yang dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konseptual dan kemampuan berpikir kritis melalui kerja sama dan interaksi antar siswa. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa pada materi Teorema Pythagoras menggunakan model pembelajaran collaborative problem solving. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII MTs Plus Nurul Iman. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi tes kemampuan representasi matematis dan lembar observasi proses pembelajaran. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif untuk menggambarkan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa, serta menganalisis efektivitas model pembelajaran CPS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model CPS mampu meningkatkan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa pada materi Teorema Pythagoras, terutama dalam aspek representasi gambar, simbol dan verbal. Siswa yang belajar dengan model CPS cenderung lebih aktif dalam berdiskusi dan bekerja sama dalam menyelesaikan masalah, sehingga lebih mampu mengintegrasikan berbagai bentuk representasi matematis. Meskipun demikian, representasi verbal masih menjadi tantangan bagi beberapa siswa.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengenalkan metode jarimatika untuk anak-anak Boneana. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan yaitu metode transfer ilmu jarimatika dan metode talking stick modifikasi. Metode transfer ilmu diberikan untuk mengenalkan dasar-dasar metode berhitung menggunakan jarimatika setelah itu dipraktikan oleh anak-anak dengan menggunakan metode talking stick. Talking stick merupakan metode berbasis game sehingga dapat menambah semangat belajar. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan anak-anak yang terdiri atas peserta didik jenjang sekolah dasar dan sekolah menengah menunjukkan antusiasme dalam belajar mandiri matematika. Pengenalan operasi hitung penjumlahan dan pengurangan menggunakan metode jarimatika telah dilaksanakan dengan lancar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam pemecahan masalah matematrika pada soal berbasis literasi numerasi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dan subyek peneltiian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII MTs Nurul Iman. Untuk menguji kredibilitas data dilakukan dengan cara triangulasi sumber dari ke tiga sumber diatas. Teknik analisis datanya dilakukan dengan Reduksi data dilakukan untuk menyeleksi data yang hanya diperlukan untuk analisis data agar lebih mudah, penyajian data meliputi pengklasifikasian dan identifikasi data yaitu menuliskan data yang terorganisir dan terkategori, kemudian peneliti mencoba untuk menarik kesimpulan berdasarkan tema dengan tujuan untuk menemukan makna dari data yang telah dikumpulkan. Berdasarkan  hasil  temuan  penelitian  yang  diperoleh,  dapat  disimpulkan  bahwa  (1)  Siswa berkemampuan  matematika  tinggi  dapat  memenuhi  empat  indikator  kemampuan  berpikir  kritis dalam   memecahkan   masalah soal berbasis literasi numerasi,   yaitu   mampu   merumuskan   pokok-pokok   permasalahan   dan mengungkapkan   fakta   yang   ada,   mampu   mendeteksi   bias   dan   menentukan   konsep   untuk menyelesaikan soal, mampu mengerjakan soal sesuai rencana, mampu memeriksa kembali jawaban, menggunakan  cara  lain,  dan  menarik  kesimpulan.  (2)  Siswa  berkemampuan  matematika  sedang dapat  memenuhi  2  indikator  kemampuan  berpikir  kritis  dalam  memecahkan  masalah soal berbasis literasi numerasi,  yaitu mampu  merumuskan  pokok-pokok  permasalahan  dan  mengungkapkan  fakta  yang  ada,  mampu menyelesaikan  soal  dan mampu  mengerjakan  soal sesuai   rencana.
