Abstract

Penelitian mengenai intensi berpindah karyawan telah menjadi topik menarik di era pascapandemi, di mana banyak perusahaan berusaha pulih dari krisis dan merekrut tenaga kerja baru. Sementara itu, karyawan melihat peluang ini sebagai kesempatan untuk mencari atau beralih ke tempat kerja lain. Meskipun topik intensi berpindah telah dipelajari sebelum pandemi, penyebab perputaran biasanya dilihat dari perspektif individu. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran kepemimpinan, khususnya kepemimpinan otentik, sebagai faktor utama dalam mengatasi perputaran karyawan, terutama dalam konteks Indonesia di mana penelitian sebelumnya kurang memperhatikan pegawai di sektor jasa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan mengumpulkan data melalui kuesioner menggunakan skala Likert 1-5. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 98 responden yang dipilih secara purposive sampling, yaitu pegawai di sektor jasa yang memenuhi kriteria tertentu. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode SMART PLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan autentik memiliki dampak positif dalam membimbing karyawan untuk terlibat secara lebih dalam dalam pekerjaan mereka. Para karyawan merasa bahwa pemimpin mereka mampu bijaksana menghadapi situasi sulit dan membuat keputusan yang baik. Namun, kepemimpinan autentik tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap niat berpindah karyawan, dan tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara kepemimpinan autentik dan keterikatan kerja. Oleh karena itu, hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa setiap pemimpin perlu berupaya membangun hubungan yang kuat dengan bawahan mereka dan memberikan kesempatan kepada mereka untuk terlibat dalam pengambilan keputusan guna meningkatkan keterlibatan. Penelitian ini juga memberikan kontribusi dalam menjelaskan bagaimana gaya kepemimpinan dapat memengaruhi keterlibatan karyawan dan mengurangi tingkat perputaran.   Research on turnover intention has become an interesting topic in the post-pandemic period, where many companies tend to recover from the crisis and absorb labor. On the other hand, employees see this opportunity to seek/move to another workplace. Over the past few decades, turnover topics had been published before pandemics and the causes of turnover always look from the individual perspective. Therefore this study aims to examine leadership as a prominent factor to cope with turnover, especially with authentic leadership. especially in the Indonesian context, while previous research lacks of the sample of employees in the service sector. This research took a quantitative approach with data collection using a 1-5 Likert scale questionnaire. The sample was collected from 98 respondents by purposive sampling which aims to select according to the criteria, namely employees who work in the service sector. The data collection will be analyzed with SMART PLS. The result shows, authentic leadership can be a role model to guide employees into work engagement, they feel the leader can be wise to face challenging situations and make good decisions. In contrast, authentic leadership did not affect the turnover intention variable., authentic leadership and work engagement had no significant effect. As consequences, each leader in the group need to attempt their relationship with subordinates and give the change to them for involved the decision making and get their engagement. This study also contributes to elucidating how the leadership style will engage their subordinate and reduce turnover.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan melayani meruapakan salah satu topik yang luas dan menarik bagi kalangan peneliti dalam beberapa tahun terakhir. Hal ini disebabkan oleh pendekatan yang beragam dan luas yang diterapkannya dalam model kepemimpinannya, yang secara signifikan berbeda dengan filosofi kepemimpinan lainnya. Kepemimpinan pelayanan juga memainkan peran kunci dalam mempengaruhi hasil di tingkat individu dan tim, termasuk komitmen organisasi, perilaku kewarganegaraan organisasi, dan kinerja. Dengan memfokuskan pada pelayanan kepada orang lain, paradigma kepemimpinan telah berubah secara dramatis, beralih dari sekadar memimpin untuk menyeimbangkan peran memimpin dan melayani secara bersamaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dampak kepemimpinan pelayanan terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan melibatkan persepsi dukungan organisasi sebagai mediator. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi hasil variabel persepsi dukungan organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan, khususnya dalam konteks pekerja di sektor jasa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan skala Likert untuk pengumpulan data. Partisipan diminta memberikan tanggapan mereka menggunakan skala Likert, yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode SMARTPLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan pelayanan memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap persepsi dukungan organisasi dan kinerja karyawan. Dengan demikian, perasaan karyawan terhadap dukungan organisasi dapat membimbing mereka melewati batas kinerja yang diharapkan. Selain itu, dukungan organisasi yang dirasakan juga memiliki dampak signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, menekankan perlunya peningkatan dukungan organisasi untuk mengintegrasikan karyawan ke dalam tim dan meningkatkan kinerja mereka.Penelitian ini juga menyoroti pentingnya pemimpin untuk terus menekankan peran mereka dalam melayani bawahannya, dengan tujuan mempertahankan persepsi dukungan organisasi dan mencapai kinerja maksimal dalam organisasi.   Servant leadership appears to be the most promising and most widely investigated over the past few years, primarily due to the diverse and wide-ranging approach it adopts compared to other philosophies, as well as its important role in influencing individual and team-level outcomes, such as organizational commitment, behavior. organizational citizenship, and job performance. This focus on serving others dramatically shifts the center of leadership studies from simply leading to balancing the paradox of leading and serving at the same time. This research aims to examine the influence of servant leadership on employee performance which is mediated by perceptions of organizational support, as well as testing the research results of the variable perception of organizational support on employee performance where there is still a gap between studies using a sample of employees who work in the service sector. The research methodology for this study employs a quantitative approach, specifically utilizing a Likert scale to gather data. The Likert scale, ranging from 1 to 5, will be employed in a structured questionnaire to measure participants' responses. Total 96 respondent were collected With purposive sampling method and being analayzed in SMARTPLS.  As a result, Servant leadership had effect on perceived organizational support and employee performance respectively. From this point, employee feel have a direction and have support to exceeded their performance Secondly, the variable of perceived organizational support had significance effect to employee performance, As consequences perceived organizational support need to be soared to engage employee being part of team and performances. Developing employees not only enhances individual performance but also enhances the overall leadership capability within the organization. Another point from this research is the leader need to keep emphasize their role to serve their subordinate in order to maintain their perception organizational support and reach maximum performance.

Abstract

Pembayaran out-of-pocket (OOP) dalam pelayanan kesehatan adalah pembayaran langsung yang dilakukan oleh individu kepada penyedia layanan kesehatan pada saat penggunaan layanan. Berdasarkan data World Bank, sejak tahun 2017 hingga 2021 proporsi belanja OOP terhadap belanja kesehatan secara global mengalami penurunan hampir 1%, dari 18,03% menjadi 17,05%. Di Asia, penurunan belanja OOP sejak tahun 2017 hingga 2021 lebih besar, yaitu turun sebesar 4,5% (38,48% menjadi 33,99%) dibandingkan periode yang sama. Sebagian besar negara saat ini memiliki Layanan Asuransi Kesehatan Nasional (NHIS) sendiri, namun pasien masih bersedia membayar layanan tersebut dengan pembayaran sendiri (OOP). Tinjauan ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis alasan apa pasien ingin membayar dengan OOP. Navigasi artikel menggunakan kata kunci “out-of-pocket payment” di Scopus dan Proquest tahun 2020-2023. Filter subjek tambahan digunakan seperti “obat-obatan” dan “layanan kesehatan” untuk membuat penelusuran lebih spesifik. 699 artikel yang diperoleh disaring dengan membaca judul, abstrak, dan kelayakan teks lengkap. Pada akhir proses penyaringan, 9 artikel dipilih untuk direview. Hasilnya dapat dikategorikan dalam 4 kelompok penyakit, yaitu Penyakit Umum, Penyakit Kronis, Penyakit Ibu & Anak, dan Penyakit Psikiatri. Dari tinjauan tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelayanan berkualitas tinggi menjadi alasan utama yang mendorong pasien membayar dengan OOP. Pemerintah harus lebih memperhatikan stok obat dan perbekalan kesehatan untuk mengurangi pembayaran OOP. Penyedia yang meminta pembayaran tambahan padahal semua tagihan sudah ditanggung oleh asuransi kesehatan nasional tidak dapat diterima dengan alasan apapun.

Abstract

Pendidikan di lingkungan pesantren kini tidak hanya berfokus pada pendidikan keagamaan, tetapi juga pada pengembangan unit usaha sebagai bagian dari kemandirian ekonomi. Namun, rendahnya tingkat profesionalisme di kalangan santri telah menjadi salah satu hambatan utama dalam mencapai efisiensi dan daya saing bisnis pesantren. Banyak santri yang terlibat dalam unit usaha pesantren belum memiliki keterampilan dan sikap profesional yang sesuai dengan standar bisnis moderen, yang mengarah pada rendahnya kualitas pengelolaan dan keberlanjutan usaha. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan profesionalisme santri dalam manajemen bisnis UMKM di Pondok Pesantren Al-Ashriyyah Nurul Iman, Bogor. Analisis kebutuhan yang dilakukan melalui observasi dan wawancara dengan pihak pesantren menunjukkan bahwa terdapat masalah seperti kurangnya kedisiplinan, rendahnya kesadaran akan pentingnya profesionalisme, serta keterbatasan pengetahuan dalam pengelolaan bisnis. Oleh karena itu, program pelatihan difokuskan pada peningkatan keterampilan manajerial, pembentukan sikap profesional, serta penerapan prinsip-prinsip manajemen bisnis yang efektif. Pelatihan ini mencakup topik-topik seperti perencanaan bisnis, pengelolaan keuangan, pemasaran, serta pengembangan kualitas layanan dan produk. Hasil kegiatan ini diukur melalui umpan balik kuesioner yang diberikan kepada peserta setelah pelatihan, yang menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas peserta merasa program pengabdian ini sangat bermanfaat dan memberikan dampak positif terhadap profesionalisme mereka. Peningkatan kepuasan peserta juga tercermin dari peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang dirasakan oleh para santri, yang akan berdampak pada keberlanjutan dan pertumbuhan unit usaha pesantren ke depannya.

Abstract

BACKGROUND: Connective Tissue Dysplasia (CTD) in pediatric populations represents a heterogeneous group of heritable disorders characterized by structural and functional anomalies in connective tissues, primarily involving abnormalities in collagen, elastin, and other essential extracellular matrix components. These anomalies manifest through a spectrum of clinical phenotypes affecting multiple organ systems. This study aimed to investigate lesser-known systemic lesions in children with dysplastic changes in connective tissue to enable timely diagnosis and comprehensive treatment. CASE PRESENTATION: Clinical Case 1: A 15-year-old boy presented with recurrent bronchitis, pneumonia with obstructive syndrome, and asthma attacks. Allergological examination revealed significant increases in total Immunoglobulin E (IgE). Computed Tomography (CT) scans showed fibrous cortical defects and severe osteoporosis in various bones. The clinical diagnosis included undifferentiated CTD syndrome, joint hypermobility syndrome, and multiple fibrous cortical defects, among other conditions. Clinical Case 2: A 15-year-old girl with bilateral flat feet, increased thoracic kyphosis, and leftward spinal axis deviation was diagnosed with joint hypermobility syndrome. An incidental finding of a large cyst in the lower pole of the spleen was surgically treated. CONCLUSION: Dysplastic changes in connective tissue present through various clinical conditions, highlighting the need for a comprehensive examination. The combination of undifferentiated CTD with fibrous cortical defects, osteochondropathy, cystic changes in internal organs, and other developmental anomalies underscores the need for further in-depth research

Abstract

The outbreak of the corona virus had made significant changes in VUCA era, where as volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity hit harder economic, including financial sector. As the consequences of government policies to imposed lockdown, Stock market has declined drastically, on the other hand the number of investor increased compared to the previous years. This anomaly phenomenon shows there is another variable generates investment intention. Previous studies, the topic of financial management behavior studies still limited, especially on the psychological side of humans. This study revealed factors such as financial literacy and big personality traits from the point of view of men and women to reveal this phenomenon, using a questionnaire in data collection and a Likert scale, processing that carried out using the SMART PLS test tool. the result is that female respondents get a greater significance value than male respondents, it can be concluded that financial literacy is needed by women. For the moderating results in this study, it shows that men have a moderating influence while women do not have moderation. This study used 195 respondents, so that in the future it can increase the number of respondents to strengthen the research model. In addition, this research is still ongoing in the Jakarta area, so it can be a consideration for conducting further research such as adding respondents outside Jakarta.

Abstract

The seaweed bussiness in Indonesia has significant potential to strengthen the national economy. However, in the development of its business, downstream processing has rarely transformed digitally, despite the increasing advancement of digital platforms. Human resource factors hinder this transformation, such as digital skills and literacy, which make people reluctant to change. Therefore, this study will examine the theory of Planned Organizational Change Models in developing change readiness behavior. The research method uses a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires with a Likert scale of 1-5. The sample in this study consists of workers in the marine industry from small and medium-sized enterprises, totaling 182 people in South Sulawesi, using purposive sampling techniques. The criteria for selecting the sample are units with employees who have been working for at least three years, ensuring they understand the workflow and have a perception of digital transformation. The collected data is processed using SmartPLS. The results of this study show that there is an influence of digital leadership on readiness to change, as well as readiness to change on commitment and behavior supporting change. Therefore, readiness to change is crucial in supporting the success of the transformation.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of Emotional Intelligence, Self-Efficacy, and Employee Engagement on Organizational Commitment among employees in digital companies, utilizing data from 147 respondents. Emotional Intelligence significantly enhances Organizational Commitment through Employee Involvement. Employees with high EI are better at building strong interpersonal relationships and communicating effectively, which leads to higher levels of involvement and commitment to the organization. This is supported by the mediation effect found between EI and Organizational Commitment, emphasizing the importance of employee involvement. Self-Efficacy also positively influences Organizational Commitment through its effect on Employee Involvement. Employees with high self-efficacy are more confident and involved in their work, resulting in greater attachment and commitment to their organization. Direct relationships were found between Emotional Intelligence and Employee Involvement, indicating that higher EI leads to increased engagement and proactive behavior in the workplace. This further contributes to better job performance and organizational commitment. Additionally, Employee Involvement significantly enhances Organizational Commitment. However, Self-Efficacy does not have a significant direct impact on Employee Involvement, suggesting that other factors, such as organizational culture or leadership style, might play a more crucial role. Overall, fostering Emotional Intelligence and self-efficacy is essential for enhancing Employee Engagement and Organizational Commitment in digital companies.

Abstract

The creative industry in Indonesia has undergone significant changes in 2024 due to rapid digital transformation, driven by advancements in technology and shifts in consumer behavior. However, the full potential of digital tools is not yet being realized, as current resources have not been fully optimized to absorb these changes. This highlights the need for a study on the role of intrinsic motivation in employees' ability to foster innovative performance, facilitated by digital leadership and digital culture. The research was conducted among employees working in the digital industry, specifically within the digital-based creative sector. Using Structural Equation Modeling, data were collected from a total of 189 respondents. The study emphasizes the critical roles that digital culture and digital leadership play in enhancing innovative performance within organizations. It demonstrates that both factors significantly contribute to boosting intrinsic motivation among employees, thereby encouraging innovative behaviors
