Abstract

Recognizing isolated sign language gestures is difficult due to differences in body proportions and missing pose landmarks. Many current methods struggle to work well across different signers. To solve this, we propose reference-based normalization, which reduces body shape differences by separately normalizing body parts such as the full body, arms, face, and hands. We tested this method using LSTM and GRU models on two datasets: a custom American Sign Language (ASL) dataset with one amateur signer, and the public WLASL dataset with various signers. On the custom dataset, the highest accuracy (97.75%) was achieved using LSTM with normalization applied only to the full body and hands, since the signer was consistent. For the WLASL dataset, adding normalization for the arms and face improved accuracy by 3.10% for LSTM and 0.77% for GRU. The GRU model reached the best WLASL result (74.03%) with fewer parameters than other advanced models. These findings show that reference-based normalization improves sign recognition performance and has potential for real-world use, especially in recognizing signs in continuous sequences.

Abstract

Digital leadership became prominent to bridging Digital transformation in organizations. Despite, a lot of research in digital leadership topic has soared, it still misses the gap for the position of digital leadership. This research investigates the determination of digital leadership based on literature review from various research articles and presents the position of digital leadership. Therefore, this study was conducted with the Grounded Theory Literature-Review Method and perish n publish or perish to collect proper literature, data was presented using the matrix augmented of unit analysis, and the data was categorized by variable, theory, and unit analysis. The results showed three positions of digital leadership, firstly ten articles positioned digital leadership as independent variable.  Secondly, one study conducted digital leadership as  mediating variable, and lastly,  there were two research studied digital leadership as moderating variable. This study concludes the theme of digital leadership was frequently used to develop digital transformation and performance for organizations. Leaders act as a supporter and connectors between corporate culture and team members to bridge the transformation. Furthermore, it remains a gap in digital leadership variable research topics such as: measuring dimensions of digital leadership, competence of the leader, and which leadership styles suitable for organizations.

Abstract

The creative industry in Indonesia has undergone significant changes in 2024 due to rapiddigital transformation, driven by advancements in technology and shifts in consumerbehavior. However, the full potential of digital tools is not yet being realized, as currentresources have not been fully optimized to absorb these changes. This highlights the need fora study on the role of intrinsic motivation in employees' ability to foster innovativeperformance, facilitated by digital leadership and digital culture. The research was conducted among employees working in the digital industry, specificallywithin the digital-based creative sector. Using Structural Equation Modeling, data were collected from a total of 189 respondents. The study emphasizes the critical roles that digitalculture and digital leadership play in enhancing innovative performance withinorganizations. It demonstrates that both factors significantly contribute to boosting intrinsicmotivation among employees, thereby encouraging innovative behaviors

Abstract

MSMEs play a vital role in national economic development through economic growth, job creation, and equitable distribution of benefits. The aim of this community service is to enhance the human resource competencies of MSMEs within the Islamic Boarding School in a sustainable manner. The role of the santri as managers requires both theoretical guidance and practical mentoring in developing operational procedures that meet their needs, focusing on enhancing the required competencies. The method applied, involving interactive training and direct practice by 50 managers, demonstrates high enthusiasm. Thus, community service through training for santri to enhance their competencies is crucial for the future. The outcome of these activities includes fostering self-evaluation among santri to improve their competencies through work standards and workflows. Additionally, the unique aspect of this initiative involves enhancing their understanding of building strong teams and developing sustainable business strategies through the managers' role as organizational drivers.

Abstract

The role of readiness to change in digital transformation is critical because it influences the success rate of accepting and implementing new technologies within an organization. Readiness to change allows individuals and organizations to adapt to environmental changes, overcome obstacles, and adopt changes more effectively This study distributed an online survey via Google Forms to 237 SME employee. After the survey was completed, data filtering and processing were carried out using SmartPLS The results demonstrate that attitude significantly affects performance. Studies consistently show that individuals with a good attitude can improve their performance. Similarly, the impact of attitude on readiness for change mirrors these findings: individuals with a positive attitude are more motivated and ready to embrace change, which in turn enhances their performance. Evidence shows that employees ready for change experience significant performance growth. In conclusion, readiness for change mediates the relationship between transformational leadership and performance. Employees need guidance and actions from leaders to reach optimal performance. Similarly, readiness for change mediates the relationship between attitude and performance. Furthermore, readiness for change also mediates the effect of self-efficacy on performance, highlighting that self-efficacy drives internal motivation towards goal achievement.

Abstract

This study investigates the pivotal role of innovative performance behavior among employees in the digital sector, focusing on how Emotional Intelligence and Transformational Leadership, influence Knowledge Sharing and Innovative Performance. As the digital market faces evolving technological challenges and heightened competition, companies must adapt to remain competitive. Data will be gathered through purposive sampling of 185 digital industry employees with a minimum of five years of experience. Using Google Forms, participants will respond to 19 questions on a 5-point Likert scale. Data analysis will be conducted using SMARTPLS. The findings highlight the critical impact of Emotional Intelligence and Transformational Leadership on Knowledge Sharing and Innovative Performance. High Emotional Intelligence, characterized by self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and social skills, enhances creativity, problem-solving, and adaptability, fostering a conducive environment for innovation. Employees with high Emotional Intelligence engage more in Knowledge Sharing behaviors, promoting better communication and collaboration. Transformational leaders drive innovation by inspiring and motivating their teams, encouraging creativity and risk-taking, and fostering a supportive environment. The study concludes that developing Emotional Intelligence and Transformational Leadership in organizations can significantly enhance Knowledge Sharing and Innovative Performance, leading to sustained innovation and competitiveness in the digital sector.
