Abstract

PHBS education in early childhood is very important. The children?s brains are growingrapidly at that time so that it will be easy to obtain PHBS education materials. However,materials specifically for PHBS early childhood education are not yet available. The purposeof this program was to provide education and skills to Early Childhood Education (ECD)teachers in presenting the material of PHBS for children in early childhood. This activity wasconducted in July 2015 at the District Office Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta with 53 ECDteachers from districts Jagakarsa and Kebayoran Baru as participants. The material oneducation for early childhood PHBS include 8 themes, those are: washing hands with soap andwater flow, put garbage in the trash, exercise regularly, cutting the nails of hands and feet,brushing teeth after meals and before going to sleep, eating vegetables and fruit every day,choose clean and healthy snacks, and the using of sanitary latrines. The materials were gottenfrom brainstorming with ECD teachers on educational material needs PHBs early childhood.Continuous and well-planned effort to increase knowledge of early childhood health for ECDteachers must be made in the form of regular training activities as promotion and preventionhealth for children in early childhood.

Abstract

Honey is one of the herbal supplements for increasing body health. The nutrient content in honey products can be reduced due to its processing, packing, storage, and industrial process. This study aimed to analyze the characteristic of honey and some of its nutrient contents of 5 honey samples that disperse among the society. This study was conducted from March to September 2019 in the Ministry of Industry Centre for Agro-based Industry Laboratory, Bogor, East Java. Honey samples were obtained from some wholesale supermarkets around the Jakarta area. Total carbohydrate and energy testings were using IK 5.4.5 method. Water content, diastase enzyme activity, hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF) content, and acidity tests were using the Indonesian National Standard  (SNI) procedure 3545 2013. HPLC method was used to test sucrose, glucose, and fructose, while AOAC 999.11 (9.1.09.2005 method was used to test Cu, Zn, and Fe content. Total carotenoid and flavonoid content were determined using spectrophotometry method.  The result revealed the characteristic of honey samples in this study, including the range of pH (3.56-4.16), water (17-22.9%), ashes (0,07-0,59), acidity (7.76-38.3 ml N NaOH 1/kg) and HMF (122-812 mg/kg) content as well as diastase enzyme activity (1.11-17.2 DN). Fructose, glucose, sucrose and reducing sugar content showed were, respectively, 21.5-39.3 gr/100 gr, 25.2-31.4 gr/100 gr, 0.5-1.75 gr/100 gr, and 58.4-71.2%. Honey samples contained 309-334 kal/100 gr of energy, 76.8-81.9% of carbohydrate, 0.03-0.39%, of protein and 0.10-0.65% of fat. Moreover, their mineral contents observed were 0.03-0.66 mg/kg of Cu, 0.09-3.13 mg/kg of Zn, and 1.59-20.1 mg/kg of Fe. Finally, total flavonoid and carotenoid of honey samples were, respectively, 0.02-0.07 %(b/b) and 0.05-0.64 mg/kg.

Abstract

Cases of fluor albus are still common in women and if not addressed will lead to infection of the female genital area. Adolescent need to be educated in such a way, because education has an impact on long-term decisions. The existence of this study is to see the effect of fluor albus prevention education counseling using animated videos on the knowledge and attitudes of young women at SMP PGRI 2 Ciledug in 2023. This study applied a quantitative method of experimental design with non-randomised pre-test post-test control group design and non-probabilty sampling technique with purposive sampling. A total of 110 grade 9 young women were sampled. Wilcoxon and Mann-Whitney test were used as analysis techniques. There was a significant difference in the mean total score of pre-test (6,55) and post-test (8,82) of knowledge variables of the experimental group (p-value <0,00001). A significant difference was also found in the mean total score of pre-test (4,78) and post-test (7,69) attitude variables in the same group. There was a significant difference in the mean total score of the experimental groups’s knowledge post-test (8,82) with the control (6,84) and the mean total score of the experimental group’s attitude post-test (7,69) with the control (4,64). This happened because only the experimental group was exposed to education, so that the reasoning was that providing education using animated video media had an influence on the difference in the total score of knowledge and attitudes of young women at SMP PGRI 2 Ciledug

Abstract

ABSTRAK Buah dan sayur merupakan makanan sumber serat yang paling baik dan utama. Kandungan gizi yang terdapat pada buah dan sayur mempunyai banyak manfaat khususnya bagi remaja yang salah satunya dalam pencegahan penyakit degeneratif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan konsumsi buah dan sayur pada siswa di SMAN 4 Tambun Selatan. Penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian Cross Sectional dilakukan terhadap 200 siswa di SMAN 4 Tambun Selatan dengan jumlah populasi sebesar 1.113. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Quota Sampling. Data dianalisis secara univariat dan bivariat dengan uji Chi Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengetahuan, sikap, dukungan teman sebaya, jumlah anggota keluarga berhubungan dengan konsumsi buah dan sayur (Pvalue < 0,05), sedangkan jenis kelamin, ketersediaan buah dan sayur di rumah, penghasilan orangtua, dukungan orang tua tidak berhubungan dengan konsumsi buah dan sayur (Pvalue ≥ 0,05). Untuk itu, diharapkan siswa memiliki kebiasaan mengkonsumi buah dan sayur melalui penerapan kebijakan sekolah yang mewajibkan setiap siswa membawa bekal makan siang yang terdiri dari sayur dan buah. Abstract

Background:  Adherence to taking medication is a prerequisite for hypertension treatment to be more effective and most likely to cure patients in controlling hypertension so that complications and death do not occurObjective: The objective of this study is to discover the dominant factors of elderly hypertension patients' conformity to medication at the Jatinegara District Health CenterMethods: It is a quantitative study with Cross Sectional approach. It involved 200 respondents, as the sample was taken using a quota sampling technique.Results: Univariate results showed that 25% of elderly hypertensive patients did not adhere to medication. In bivariate analysis, it was found that family support, self-efficacy, motivation, and health workers' roles were related (p-value <0.05) to adherence to hypertension medication consumption. Meanwhile, no relation (p-value 0.05) existed between age, knowledge, attitude, access to healthcare facilities, and JKN participation variables. The dominant variable observed from the multivariate result was the interaction of attitudes and self-efficacy (OR: 23,943).Conclusion:Based on multivariate analysis, it was found that the influential factors were self-efficacy and attitudes.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Keluarga berencana membantu pasangan untuk mencegah kelahiran yang tidak diinginkan, mendapatkan kelahiran yang diinginkan, dan mengatur jarak kelahiran. Pasangan melakukan KB untuk memutuskan berapa banyak anak, berapa lama, dan kapan lahir. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui determinan yang berhubungan dengan penggunaan KB horomonal pada wanita usia subur di Kelurahan Joglo.Metode: Jenis metode penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan desain cross-sectional. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 132 wanita usia subur yang berada di Kelurahan Joglo.. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis univariat dan bivariat.Hasil: Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan (p-value <0,05) antara umur (p-value =0,040), pekerjaan (p-value =0,002), pengetahuan (p-value =0,003), keterpaparan informasi (p-value <0,000), dukungan suami (p-value =0,028), dan tidak terdapat hubungan (p-value >0,05) antara pendidikan (p-value =0,490) dan Sikap (p-value =0,594).Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan antara umur, pekerjaan, pengetahuan, keterpaparan informasi, dan dukungan suami terhadap penggunaan KB hormonal. Kader kesehatan wilayah Kelurahan Joglo diharapkan terus mempertahankan penyuluhan mengenai penggunaan KB sehingga pengetahuan dan keterpaparan informasi mengenai KB Homonal terus meningkat.

Abstract

Background: Role of peer group support is one of important role in HIV/AIDS prevention system. Peer group can be implemented contiiously if sustainability program factors exist. Aim of Study:This study aimed to assess factors which effect peer group support sustainability in HIV/AIDS eradication both in district and provincial level. Method: The study collected qualitative data and literature review. Indepth interview was conducted to key informants. Result. Peer group support can be implemented in HIV/AIDS eradication system since factors that effect were developed. Those factors were 1) Internal factor includes group motivation, leadership, self help and group accountability. 2) External Factor includes participatory in HIV/AIDS eradication system, access to resources and referral system.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Anak usia dini sangat membutuhkan zat gizi makro dan mikro untuk proses pertumbuhan dan perkembangannya. Tahapan ini, energi untuk aktifitas anak usia dini dan perkembangan otak serta pertumbuhan sel menjadi pertimbangan dalam pemberian makanan pada anak usia dini. Metode kegiatan terdiri dari brainstorming, edukasi gizi dan kesehatan, pratek pengolahan makanan untuk anak usia dini, dan pendampingan. Kegiatan diatas diikuti oleh ibu siswa/i dari 8 PAUD di Kecamatan Kebayoran Baru. Mitra kegiatan Himpaudi Kebayoran Baru Jakarta Selatan. Tahap praktek pengolahan makanan anak usia dini dilakukan di laboratorium gizi FIKes UHAMKA. Tahap pendampingan PMB di salah satu PAUD. Hasil kegiatan, pengenalan kebutuhan dan kecukupan gizi anak usia dini dilakukan di PAUD dengan pelaksanaan Program Makan Bersama (PMB). PMB dilaksanakan setiap minggu pada hari Jum’at. Pelaksanaan PMB ini, siswa/i makan bersama-sama di PAUD. Makanan dimasak dan disediakan oleh ibu-ibu siswa/i PAUD. PMB ini dapat menjadi wadah untuk pengenalan pentingnya makanan yang bergizi, pentingnya sarapan, pentingnya makan sayur dan buah pada siswa/i PAUD. Namun ibu siswa/i yang menjadi pelaksana PMB harus memiliki pengetahuan gizi anak usia dini yang baik, sehingga makanan yang disajikan tidak menggunakan bahan tambahan pangan yang tidak sehat, tidak menggunakan mie instan, atau makanan yang berlemak tinggi. Sosialisasi makanan yang memenuhi prinsip gizi seimbang dan bervariasi.Kata Kunci: anak usia dini; edukasi, gizi; makan; nutrisi Application of "Health Eating" in the Implementation of Joint Eating Programs in PAUDABSTRACT Early childhood children need macro and micro nutrient for their growth and development process. The energy used for activities, brain development, and cells growth was considered in giving children's food. The activity method comprised brainstorming, nutritional and health education, and food processing for early childhood children practice, and accompaniment. Those activities were joined by the students' mother of 8 early childhood children educations (PAUD) in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, partnered by HIMPAUDI (PAUD Educator and Teacher Association) Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta. The food processing practice was performed in UHAMKA Health Sciences Faculty nutritional laboratory. Eat Together Program (PMB) accompaniment was done in one of the PAUDs. The activities result was the introduction to nutrition need and adequacy of children in PAUD through PMB. PMB, performed every Friday, brought PAUD children to eat together in their school. The food was cooked and served by students' mother who should have nutritional knowledge for early childhood children so the food didn't use unhealthy additive substances, instant noodle, or high fat food. PMB can be a mean to introduce the importance of nutritional food, breakfast, and fruits and vegetables to the children. Socialization of  balanced and variated nutrition principle food. Abstract

Hipertensi adalah penyakit tidak menular yang kasusnya semakin banyak dijumpai di Indonesia. Kepatuhan terhadap diet rendah garam penting terhadap pengendalian tekanan darah pada penderita hipertensi. Namun, tingkat kepatuhan tersebut dapat dipengaruhi oleh karakteristik individu dan dukungan keluarga. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan antara karakteristik individu dan dukungan keluarga dengan kepatuhan diet rendah garam pada penderita hipertensi di Puskesmas Teluk Pucung, Kota Bekasi. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain potong lintang. Sebanyak 80 partisipan ditentukan melalui teknik Purposive Sampling. Data primer diperoleh melalui wawancara menggunakan kuesioner, kemudian dianalisis secara univariat dan bivariat dengan uji Chi Square. Temuan ini menunjukkan 59 dari 80 responden (73,8%) patuh menjalani diet rendah garam. Sebagian besar responden adalah lansia (53,8%), jenis kelamin perempuan (67,5%), berpendidikan tinggi (78,8%), tidak bekerja (73,8%), durasi menderita hipertensi pendek (67,5%), dan mendapatkan dukungan keluarga yang baik (51,2%). Analisis bivariat mengindikasikan adanya hubungan signifikan dengan kepatuhan diet rendah garam pada variabel jenis kelamin dan dukungan keluarga (p < 0,05), sedangkan usia, pendidikan, pekerjaan, dan lama menderita hipertensi tidak berhubungan secara signifikan (p > 0,05). Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar penderita hipertensi di Puskesmas Teluk Pucung tergolong patuh dalam menjalani diet rendah garam. Oleh karena itu, puskesmas diharapkan melibatkan keluarga secara aktif sebagai bagian dari strategi peningkatan kepatuhan pasien terhadap diet rendah garam.
