Abstract

Abstrak: Hubungan Pengetahuan dan Sikap Pedagang Minuman Cendol dengan Penggunaan Pemanis Buatan Sakarin dan Siklamat Kecamatan Pontianak Utara. Penelitian ini bersifat observasional analitik dengan tipe penelitian cross sectional dengan melakukan pengujian terhadap hipotesis untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dua variable yaitu variable bebas (pengetahuan dan sikap) dan variable terikat (perilaku penggunaan pemanis buatan Sakarin dan Siklamat). Jumlah sampel yang digunakan adalah 22 sampel. Hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara pengetahuan pedagang dengan pemanis buatan Sakarin (p value = 0,348, OR = 0,300),ada hubungan antara pengetahuan pedagang dengan pemanis buatan Siklamat (p value = 0,008, OR = 20,000), ada hubungan antara sikap pedagang dengan pemanis buatan Sakarin (p value = 0,011, OR = 21,667) dan tidak ada hubungan antara sikap pedagang dengan pemanis buatan Siklamat (p value = 0,378, OR = 0,333). Abstract: Related Knowledge and Attitude Drinks Cendol Traders with Use of Artificial Sweeteners Cyclamate Saccharin and District North Pontianak. This research was observational analytic with the type of cross-sectional study with a test of hypothesis to determine the relationship between the two variables are independent variables (knowledge and attitude) and the dependent variable (the behavior of the use of artificial sweeteners Saccharin and Cyclamate). The samples used were 22 samples. The results of this study concluded that there was no relationship between knowledge traders with artificial sweeteners saccharin (p value = 0.348, OR = 0.300), there is a relationship between knowledge traders with artificial sweeteners Cyclamates (p value = 0.008, OR = 20,000), there is a relationship between attitudes traders with artificial sweeteners saccharin (p value = 0.011, OR = 21.667) and there is no relationship between attitude Cyclamates traders with artificial sweeteners (p value = 0.378, OR = 0.333).

Abstract

Abstrak. Pengaruh Penghijauan dalam Mereduksi Karbon Monoksida (CO) pada Daerah Traffic Light  di Kota Pontianak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh keberadaan pohon dalam mereduksi karbon monoksida (CO) pada daerah traffic light di Kota Pontianak. Desain penelitian dilakukan secara observasional dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah udara ambien yang berasal dari daerah traffic light pada jalan nasional Kota Pontianak. Adapun banyaknya pengambilan sampel di sesuaikan jumlah traffic light pada jalan nasional di Kota Pontianak. Hasil analisis tidak ada pengaruh antara keberadaan pohon dengan kadar karbon monoksida (CO) di daerah traffic light kota Pontianak (p-value = 0.788 > 0,05). Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa r = -0,360 (korelasi cukup)  dengan p-value = 0,151 > 0,05 Ho diterima, jadi tidak ada pengaruh antara jumlah pohon dengan kadar karbon monoksida (CO).Abstract.The Effect of Reforestationin Reducing Carbon Monoxide (CO) atTraffic Light Area in Pontianak. This research was aimed to analyze the effect of the presence of trees in reducing the carbon monoxide (CO) in the area of traffic light in Pontianak. Observational design of the study conducted with cross sectional approach. The object of this research was the ambient air that comes from the traffic light on the national road Pontianak.The number of sampling adjusted traffic light on a number of national roads in Pontianak. Results of the analysis no effect between the presence of trees to carbon monoxide ( CO ) in the town of Pontianak traffic light ( p - value = 0788 > 0.05 ). Results of the analysis showed that r = -0.360 (enough correlation) with p-value = 0.151 > 0.05 Ho is accepted, so  there is no effect between the number of trees to carbon monoxide (CO).

Abstract

Abstrak: Rancang Bangun Instalasi Pengolahan Air Limbah Klinik Nada Medika Pal V Pontianak. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang bangun instalasi pengolahan limbah cair dengan sistem biofilter anaerob-aerob menggunakan media sarang tawon di Klinik Nada Medika Pal V Pontianak. Penelitian ini bersifat observasional dengan pendekatan deskriptif yaitu merancang bangun IPAL Klinik Nada Medika Pal V Pontianak yang sesuai standar pengolahan air limbah. Metode yang digunakan yaitu studi literatur dan pengumpulan data sekunder. Kegiatan Klinik Nada Medika Pal V Pontianak menghasilkan debit air limbah sebesar 0,41 m3/jam sehingga didapat perhitungan dimensi tiap bak pengolahan antara lain: bak penangkap lemak (0,8 m3), bak pengendap awal (1,3 m3), bak anaerob (1,7 m3), bak aerob (1,7 m3), bak pengendap akhir (1,3 m3), bak khlorin (0,08 m3) dengan total volume sebesar 6,88 m3 dan luas lahan yang diperlukan 10,56 m2 serta total biaya yang dibutuhkan Rp 49.246.767,49. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian yaitu telah dibangun Instalasi Pengolahan Air Limbah Klinik Nada Medika Pal V Pontianak, sehingga dapat dimanfaatkan dan disarankan untuk dirawat sebaik mungkin.Abstract: The Design of Waste Water Treatment Plant in Nada Medika Clinic Pal V Pontianak.This research was aim to design a waste water treatment plant with anaerobic-aerobic biofilter system by using honeycomb biofilter in Nada Medika Clinic Pal V Pontianak. This research was an observational study with descriptive approach to design waste water treatment plant in Nada Medika Clinic Pal V Pontianak according to the standards of wastewater treatment. The methode used by literature study and secondary data collection. Generally, Nada Medika Clinic produce 0,41 m3/h of waterwaste. So, it can be calculated the amount of containers are needed, which consist of grease trap container (0,8 m3), early sedimentation (1,3 m3), anaerob container (1,7 m3), aerob container (1,7 m3), final sedimentation (1,3 m3) and chlorin container (0,08 m3) with total volume 6,88 m3 and required 10,56 m2 of land and the total cost is  Rp 49.246.767,49. The conclusion of the study is the  management`s instalation of wastewater treatment in Nada Medika`S Clinic has been already, so it can be used wisely and can be treated as good as possible.

Abstract

Abstrak. Karakteristik Fisik Lokasi Yang Disukai Kecoa Pada Kapal Di Pelabuhan Dwikora Pontianak. Penelitian ini bertujuan Untuk mengetahui karakteristik fisik lokasi yang disukai kecoa yang meliputi suhu, kelembaban, pencahayaan dan penanganan sampah  pada kapal di Pelabuhan Dwikora Pontianak Kalimantan Barat. Jenis penelitian ini adalah observasional dengan desain deskriptif. Jumlah sampel adalah 67 sampel. Analisis data dengan univariat pada indestifikasi kecoa dan karekteristik lokasi fisik yang disukai kecoak yaitu meliputi suhu, kelembaban, pencahayaan dan penanganan sampah pada kapal di Pelabuhan Dwikora Pontianak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Spesies atau jenis kecoa yang ditemukan pada kapal di Pelabuhan Dwikora Pontianak adalah Blatta orientalis, Periplaneta americana, dan Periplaneta brunnea. Lokasi-lokasi yang disukai kecoa pada kapal di Pelabuhan Dwikora Pontianak adalah dapur, pantry, kamar ABK, kamar penumpang, gudang, dan kamar mandi / WC. Suhu >28oc ditemukan terbanyak pada kapal layar motor (100%). Kelembaban >60%RH terbanyak ditemukan pada kapal layar motor (66.7%). Pencahayaan ≤100 lux terbanyak ditemukan pada kapal layar motor (66.7%), Upaya penanganan sampah dalam kapal di Pelabuhan Dwikora Pontianak adalah Sebagian besar kapal yang diobservasi memiliki tempat sampah yang tidak memenuhi syarat kesehatan dan tidak melakukan pemisahan antara sampah basah dan sampah kering.Abstract. Physical Characteristics of Cockroach Preferredon Ship Dwikora Pontianak Port. This study aims to determine the physical characteristics of the preferred location for cockroaches which include temperature, humidity, lighting and waste on the ship in the port of Dwikora Pontianak in West Kalimantan. This type of research is observational descriptive design. The number of samples is 67 samples. Data were analyzed by univariate at indestifikasi cockroach and the physical location of the preferred characteristics of cockroaches which include temperature, humidity, lighting and waste on the ship in the port of Dwikora Pontianak. The results showed that the species or types of cockroaches were found on the ship at the Port of Pontianak Dwikora is blatta orientalis, Periplaneta americana, and Periplaneta brunnea. Preferred locations cockroach on the ship in the port of Dwikora Pontianak is a kitchen, pantry, room crew, passenger room, warehouse, and a bathroom/WC. Temperature > 28oC are found most on the motor sailing boat (100%). Humidity > 60% RH mostly in the sailing boat motors (66.7%). ≤100 lux illumination mostly in the sailing boat motors (66.7%), waste management efforts in the ship at the Port of Pontianak Dwikora is most aboard were observed to have bins that do not meet health requirements and does not perform the separation between wet waste and dry waste.

Abstract

Hama yang seringkali ditemukan didalam rumah dan merugikan bagi manusia adalah mencit  (Mus musculus). Selain sebagai hama dan perusak bangunan, Mus musculus juga berperan sebagai penyebar penyakit bagi manusia. Pengendalian yang telah dilakukan oleh masyarakat adalah membuat jebakan atau perangkap, racun tikus, dan pengasapan. Selain itu terdapat cara alami yaitu menggunakan buah mengkudu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas ekstrak buah mengkudu (Morinda citrifolia) sebagai pestisida nabati terhadap pengendalian mencit (Mus musculus) dan untuk mengetahui perbedaan efektifitas ekstrak buah mengkudu (Morinda citrifolia) pada setiap variasi dosis yaitu 35%, 40%, 45%, 50%, dan 55%. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimen semu (quasi experiment). Jumlah sampel 30 mencit. Uji toksisitas terhadap mencit menggunakan fixed dose methode. Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah uji one way Anova. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan adanya pengaruh efektifitas ekstrak buah mengkudu (Morinda citrifolia) terhadap kematian mencit (p-value = 0,000 < 0,05), akan tetapi pada kosentrasi 55% belum dapat dikatakan efektif untuk membunuh hama mencit (Mus musculus) karena baru mampu membunuh 20% mencit.

Abstract

In the current era technology is experiencing rapid development. Global technological advances have influenced all aspects of life, including economics, health, arts, public services and education. Digital technology is an information technology that prioritizes activities carried out by computer or digital rather than using human power. With the development of digital technology, many fields have benefited from its development. With this technology, village communities should also be able to experience ease in accessing technology because nowadays villages are encouraged to progress and be independent, with the hope of being able to develop the various potentials they have for the advancement of village development, but of course in some villages it is possible not to utilize this digital technology because that community service creates programs that introduce modernizing digital technology. The methods used are discussion and practice. Increasing understanding of village officials and the community means increasing digital literacy skills and showing that the objectives of the White Elephant University 2023 Thematic real work course are quite achievable and successful.

Abstract

Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) masih menjadi masalah kesehatan di Kelurahan Sungai Jawi Luar Pontianak. Peran serta masyarakat diperlukan untuk mencegah perkembangbiakan vektor penyebab DBD. Penelitian ini bertujuan menggambarkan perilaku masyarakat dalam pemberantasan sarang nyamuk (PSN) dan menilai indeks entomologi di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Kom Yos Sudarso. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif observasional. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara menggunakan kuesioner dan observasi menggunakan checklist terhadap 93 rumah tangga. Data disajikan secara deskriptif dalam tabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 51% kontainer tidak dilakukan pengurasan, 78% container tidak ditutup, 83% kontainer tidak diberikan bubuk abate. Indeks entomologi yang meliputi HI, CI, BI dan ABJ dikategorikan tinggi. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu sebagian besar masyarakat tidak melakukan kegiatan PSN untuk meningkatkan angka bebas jentik kontainer air. Hal ini berisiko terjadinya penularan DBD yang tinggi.

Abstract

The Kubu Raya landfill uses an open dumping system in its operations. (This method is no longer recommended for use in Indonesia).  In this research, we describe the conditions surrounding the Kubu Raya TPA using observational methods and interviews with a descriptive approach. We describe landfill operations, infrastructure and facilities, daily waste volume, Kubu Raya landfill resources, remaining land, and service life. We also discuss future landfill land needs. The Kubu Raya landfill uses an open dumping system and does not practice vector control. The leachate collection facilities don't function, and the landfill's existing facilities and infrastructure need improvement. We have 270 m3 of waste entering Kubu Raya landfill each day, with a workforce of 37. The landfill covers 270 ha, and its remaining service life is approximately 300.84 days. In Kubu Raya Regency, it is necessary to consider adding 14.6 ha of land or building a new landfill. We need vector control efforts, infrastructure improvements, and considerations for additional land to make Kubu Raya TPA's waste management more environmentally friendly and efficient.

Abstract

The presence of oil and fat in household wastewater is a significant water pollutant, as it is typically disposed of without prior treatment. Coconut husks are a promising material that can be used as a filter medium. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of coconut fiber filtration in the treatment of domestic wastewater. The study employed a quasi-experimental design with pre- and post-tests but no control group. Wastewater was passed through tubs filled with coconut husk. Three different filtration tub models were tested: Model A single baffle, Model B with three baffles, and Model C with no baffle. Oil content was monitored on the 3rd, 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th days in milligrams per liter. A Kruskal-Wallis and Mann-Whitney test was conducted to compare the results of oil content reduction between filter models. The results revealed significant differences in the mean oil content reduction among the various tub models. The percentage of oil reduction reaches 95-99%. Furthermore, the Mann-Whitney test showed no significant difference between Models A and C. However, considerable differences were identified between Models A and C, as well as between Models B and C. In conclusion, this study provides evidence of the effectiveness of coconut husk filters in reducing oil levels, with nearly the maximum observed reduction achieved by the 28th day. Additionally, it is recommended to explore the long-term sustainability and potential applications of coconut husk filters in various oil removal scenarios.
