Abstract

Konsep Bangunan hijau / Green Building yang sedang menjadi tren secara global apabila diterapkan makabukan saja akan memperkuat brand image dari bangunan itu sendiri tetapi juga bisa menghemat biayaoperasional pengelolaan gedung, Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Metodekualitatif dilakukan melalui wawancara dengan pengelola gedung dan kamimteam konsultan perencana dariFakultas Teknik Universitas Atmajaya, studi kepustakaan, observasi/pengamatan, dan dokumentasi.. dalamstudi kasus gedung sampoerna strategic square setelah melakukan pekerjaan retrofit sistem Ventilation AirCondition (VAC) dengan mengganti chiller, Recycle air buangan, penggantian lampu konvensional denganlampu Hemat Energi dan juga sosialisasi kepada seluruh karyawan dan penyewa, maka didapatkan penghematandari pembayaran tagihan listrik saja sebesar Rp 477.932.856,43 / bulan (18%) dan secara kasar akan kembalimodal selama 3,77 Tahun.

Abstract

Penggunaan internet di Indonesia sudah berkembang pesat. Sayangnya, tidak semua penduduk di Indonesia dapat menggunakan internet secara efektif, khususnya untuk mendukung perekonomian di daerahnya. Desa Sampora, Cisauk, mempunyai potensi budidaya lele yang bila dikembangkan dengan baik dapat mendukung perekonomian daerahnya. Oleh karena itu, penggunaan internet untuk mengembangkan bisnis budidaya lele perlu diperkenalkan di daerah tersebut. Pengenalan internet dasar, penggunaan media sosial, dan pencarian informasi di internet yang efektif dapat mendukung proses pengembangan bisnis budidaya lele di desa Sampora. Dengan demikian, warga Desa Sampora dapat mengembangkan bisnis dan memasarkan hasil budidaya ikan lele dengan lebih luas.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to provide the new solution for the SCADA system by using the DTM6000 with Tier three and the multipoint node topology for the application offshore mining industry. The application of the proposed design can provide the data as wind speed, machine temperature, sonar, vessel position. Applying the SCADA Software, NMS (network management system), and DWS (Dispatch Work Station), data can be monitored through the control Center. The SCADA system with radiofrequency can cover a wide coverage area (ie up to 60 km). The trunking base station, carry out the data, and able to transmit voice communication with good quality. The technical design and the installation as well as the trial for validation of the proposed system in the remote area offshore of the mining industry is provided. It is might be stated that the system enables the development and addition of more other SCADA equipment in the future

Abstract

Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia has Faculty of Engineering, which is committed to empower its surrounding communities. This empowerment is implemented based on its core values. The present community empowerment activities have been planned through a series of agreements and the main goal of the activities is to develop the entrepreneurship based on the strength of the area. This paper discusses the assistance given by Faculty of Engineering in designing piping installation for supporting aquaponic activities in Desa Sampora. The project was divided into three steps. First, this project focused on observation and data collecting. This first step also involved discussion with experts. Second, it focused on the design process. The result of the first step was used in the design. Third, the design was implemented and installed in the location. All the steps required careful planning to minimize errors. The expected target of these activities was an aquaponic piping design that is feasible to implement to support sustainable and productive entrepreneurship. The final result was piping installation that can grow 120 plants, is easy to clean up, and has area efficiency.

Abstract

Energy Management Concept as part of Green Building Concept is focused to Improve Energy Efficiency Index (EEI) and Water Consumption Index (WCI). The Implementation Energy Management Concept in an office buildings of this study based on the management system model of continual improvement ISO 50001:2011. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent to which the implementation of green building principles in Office Buildings. This study took the case study in an office building in Jakarta Indonesia that has two towers, each tower has 32 floors and 3 basement floors. The method used is descriptive with respect to GREENSHIP Rating Tools for existing building which consists of six categories; Appropriate Site Development (ASD), Energy Efficiency & Conservation (EEC), Water Conservation (WAC), Material Resources & Cycle (MRC), Indoor Air Health & Comfort (IHC) and Building & Environments Management (BEM). The results show that implementation the Energy Management Concept could also made energy performance more efficient, after Implementing through Retrofitting of the Chiller System, Recycle Waste Water, Replacement of Conventional lamp to Energy Saving LED and also Training and Education to all employees and tenants. From comparing data research before implementation of Energy Management Concept in 2014 and after Implementation and retrofitting in 2016, 2017 & 2018, it is found that Energy Efficiency Index (EEI) from 238.8 kwh/m2/Years to 134,04kwh/m2/Year and Water Consumption Index (WCI)From 50 liter/person/Day to 27.18 Liter/person/Day. And the saving cost from electricity bill payments is IDR. 466,803,325.67 / month (18%) and roughly will Break Event Point (BEP) for 3.86 Years

Abstract

Makalah ini membahas perancangan dan implementasi sistem penggerak panel surya 2 sumbu dengan menggunakan motor servo yang dikendalikan oleh mikrokontroler arduino uno, sistem ini bekerja berdasarkan masukan sensor LDR sebanyak empat buah yang dipasang pada masing-masing sisi panel surya dan satu buah yang dipasang di tengah modul solar panel tersebut.Sensor LDR pun dihubungkan pada mikrokontroller yang akan mengolah masukkan yang diberikan menjadi keluaran tegangan kepada motor servo.Motor servo yang dipakai diperancangan alat ini sebanyak dua buah yang akan meggerakkan panel surya menuju arah vertical dan horizontal. Pengujian dilakukan dengan beberapa tahap seperti pengujian hasil yang didapatkan oleh panel surya dengan berbagai kondisi,pengujian sensor cahaya dan pengujian keseluruhan.Sehingga mendapatkan hasil yang cukup baik dan memuaskan,kedua motor servo dapat bergerak menerima hasil keluaran yang diberikan oleh mikrokontroller dan kelima sensor LDR dapat menerima cahaya matahari dan mendeteksi arah cahaya matahari secara cukup baik sehingga perancangan alat mendapatkan hasil keseluruhan secara cukup baik. Hasil keseluruhan daya yang didapat secara maksimal oleh panel surya sebanyak 12V yang akan bergerak mengikuti arah cahaya matahari.

Abstract

In today’s industry, company’s activities are scattered in several locations and need internet for communication purposes. However, it will be dangerous if third-parties have access to their information. One of the solutions for securing information exchange is by using Virtual Private Network (VPN). The VPN protocols that will be used are Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol (PPTP) with the help of Internet Protocol Security (IPSec). These protocols are simulated in VirtualBox that has been previously installed with two Mikrotik routers and two Windows 7 operating systems. The PPTP and IPSec protocols are configured in both routers through Winbox software. For the computers, the IP addresses are configured along with iPerf software for bandwidth analysis. In this VPN simulation, both computers can communicate with each other and have no problem in accessing the internet. In PPTP’s network, the average bandwidth is 1.293 Mbits/sec. Meanwhile, in PPTP with IPSec’s network, the average bandwidth is 0.853 Mbits/sec. There is a slight difference considering that in PPTP, the data packets are only encapsulated. On the other hand, the data packets in IPSec protocol are both encapsulated and encrypted.

Abstract

The purpose of research on this flood prevention system prototype design is to prevent flood caused by overflowing reservoir water. This system prototype uses the Modicon M340 Programmable Logic Controller as a controller and is equipped with a Human Machine Interface feature as a medium for managing and monitoring system performance virtually. This system is supported by a Water-Level Sensor to measure the water level in the reservoir and also the rate of addition of water in the reservoir. The sluice mechanism is driven by a Stepper Motor assisted by the ULN2003 Driver Module based on Proportional, Integral and Derivative (PID) control to maintain the water level in the reservoir. PID control in this system successfully runs optimally at constant KP = 3.5, KI = 2, and KD = 1, with an error result of 0,048%. This constant has the best response time compared to other constants, where rise time = 11.76 s, settling time = 13.95 s, and steady state time = 14.07 s.

Abstract

This research aims to compare the actual production with the simulations using the PVSyst software for the Off-Grid Solar Power Plant (PLTS) in Karuni Village, Southwest Sumba. The Off-Grid PLTS in Karuni Village is a vital solution for improving remote areas' electricity access. Actual energy production data from the PLTS were obtained from monitoring systems, while simulation results were obtained through PVSyst. The analysis results indicate a difference of approximately 10% between the actual and simulated results. It observed that it is influenced by variability in local weather conditions, maintenance, system management levels, and limitations of the simulation model. The implications of this research emphasize the importance of using accurate data in simulations, improving PLTS system maintenance, and developing more sophisticated simulation models. Recommendations for further research include further analysis of factors influencing the differences in results. This study provides valuable insights into the planning and management of Off-Grid PLTS. It offers perspectives on enhancing the accuracy of future PLTS system planning and management.

Abstract

Di Indonesia, PLN adalah penyedia utama listrik rumah tangga, individu, dan industri. Namun, karena pasokan listrik PLN tidak selalu stabil, pembangkit cadangan diperlukan. Karena mereka adalah sumber energi terbarukan dan ramah lingkungan, pembangkit listrik tenaga surya (PLTS) menggunakan energi matahari sebagai sumbernya. Namun, pasokan PLTS tergantung pada cuaca. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, PLTS dapat dirancang sebagai Pembangkit Listrik Hibrid (PLTH), yang menggabungkan sumber PLN dan pengaturan beban. Studi ini mengembangkan sistem kontrol pintar otomatis dan manual yang menggunakan Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS). Sistem ini menggunakan ESP 32 dan memiliki mikroprosessor dengan modul WiFi 802.11b/g/n ESP 32 di Rentang Frekuensi 2.4 GHz. Studi rumah tangga menunjukkan bahwa kontrol pintar berfungsi dengan baik dalam simulasi dan pengujian. Meskipun ada waktu start-up inverter, delay rata-rata PLN-SHS adalah 1835 ms dan SHS-PLN adalah 2695 ms dalam mode otomatis dan 937,5 ms dalam mode manual dengan kontrol Thinger io. Dalam 12 pengujian, delay rata-rata kurang dari 2 s. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa jarak tidak memengaruhi delay, namun, kecepatan internet ESP 32 dan pengguna memengaruhi delay.
