Abstract

This community service activity aims to introduce the Road&Role Map Model for Community Empowerment Through Sustainable Islamic Boarding School Business Resilience Based on a Green Economy at the Daarul Uluum Islamic Boarding School, Jatinangor. At the Daarul Uluum Islamic boarding school in Jatinangor, this community service is carried out with the assistance of PAR. It consists of socialization, training, and assistance for teachers, students, and congregation members about community empowerment through sustainable Islamic boarding school business resilience based on a green economy. By utilizing Infocus and a projector, the material is presented in the form of a PowerPoint presentation. The results of the activities carried out on November 18 2023, found that teachers, students and congregations for community empowerment through sustainable Islamic boarding school business resilience based on a green economy at the Daarul Uluum Jatinangor Islamic boarding school were more enthusiastic and motivated to recognize the Road Map & Role model for Islamic boarding school business resilience Sustainable Green Economy Based, further in its application and implementation in daily life, especially for the congregation at the Daarul Uluum Jatinangor Islamic Boarding School. As a result of this community service activity, it is possible to conclude that this outreach activity has the potential to increase enthusiasm and high motivation to recognize further the Arabic Hajj & Umrah Digital Application for Teachers, Santri and Jama'ah Road Map & Role Model for Community Empowerment Through Resilience-Based Sustainable Islamic Boarding School Business Green Economy at the Daarul Uluum Jatinangor Islamic Boarding School. Abstract

This paper is about to discuss the effect of combining a magnetic shaping technique with an axial channel in the rotor core to reduce the cogging torque of a permanent magnet synchronous generator. Computation process is performed by using the optimization response surface method. In this case, this research is done by employing two types of axial channel systems, namely circular and hexagonal. The axial channel area at the core of the engine rotor is 0.000279683 m2. Determination of magnetic shaping was carried out with an angle of 10 and a surface angle of 530. The effect of the combination of the cogging torque reduction technique with magnetic shaping and axal channel was analyzed by numerical method based on the finite element method (FEMM). Based on the analysis, it is found that the combination shows a decrease in cogging torque by 98% when compared with the cogging torque in the initial design (initial structure). Another advantage of the combination of the two cogging torque reduction techniques is that there is no significant increase in the magnetic flux density of the engine core. It can be said that the combination of the cogging torque reduction technique and the axial channel at the core of the engine rotor can significantly reduce the cogging torque.

Abstract

This paper discusses the control of a stepper motor using Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) methods. In this paper, the author presents two designs: one using a stepper motor controller with an astable multivibrator as a pulse generator and the other utilizing a microcontroller as the pulse generator. The design of the stepper motor controller with an astable multivibrator involves using the IC timer 555 to control the stepper motor speed and a latch circuit to control the direction of the stepper motor rotation. Meanwhile, the design of the stepper motor controller with a microcontroller employs the Arduino UNO R3 to control both the direction and speed of the stepper motor. Testing is conducted through a simulation of the system design using Proteus software. From the test results, it is observed that an increase in the PWM value leads to a faster rotation speed of the stepper motor, conversely, a decrease in PWM value results in a slower rotation speed of the stepper motor.

Abstract

The purpose of research on this flood prevention system prototype design is to prevent flood caused by overflowing reservoir water. This system prototype uses the Modicon M340 Programmable Logic Controller as a controller and is equipped with a Human Machine Interface feature as a medium for managing and monitoring system performance virtually. This system is supported by a Water-Level Sensor to measure the water level in the reservoir and also the rate of addition of water in the reservoir. The sluice mechanism is driven by a Stepper Motor assisted by the ULN2003 Driver Module based on Proportional, Integral and Derivative (PID) control to maintain the water level in the reservoir. PID control in this system successfully runs optimally at constant KP = 3.5, KI = 2, and KD = 1, with an error result of 0,048%. This constant has the best response time compared to other constants, where rise time = 11.76 s, settling time = 13.95 s, and steady state time = 14.07 s.

Abstract

This research aims to compare the actual production with the simulations using the PVSyst software for the Off-Grid Solar Power Plant (PLTS) in Karuni Village, Southwest Sumba. The Off-Grid PLTS in Karuni Village is a vital solution for improving remote areas' electricity access. Actual energy production data from the PLTS were obtained from monitoring systems, while simulation results were obtained through PVSyst. The analysis results indicate a difference of approximately 10% between the actual and simulated results. It observed that it is influenced by variability in local weather conditions, maintenance, system management levels, and limitations of the simulation model. The implications of this research emphasize the importance of using accurate data in simulations, improving PLTS system maintenance, and developing more sophisticated simulation models. Recommendations for further research include further analysis of factors influencing the differences in results. This study provides valuable insights into the planning and management of Off-Grid PLTS. It offers perspectives on enhancing the accuracy of future PLTS system planning and management.

Abstract

Lembar Kerja Siswa digunakan sebagai salah satu sumber belajar mata pelajaran PAI di kelas VIII SMPN 2 Telukjambe Timur. Berdasarkan observasi pendahuluan yang peneliti lakukan ditemukan siswa yang kurang fokus dalam belajar, serta mengalami kesulitan dalam menjawab soal latihan yang ada di LKS karena soal latihan yang tidak sesuai dengan materi. Adanya Fenomena ini membuat peserta didik mengeluh pada saat proses belajar berlangsung karena mengalami kesulitan ketika menyelesaikan tugas yang ada pada lembar kerja siswa, hal tersebut dikhawatirkan akan mengurangi minat belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran Agama Islam. Hal tersebut mendorong peneliti untuk melakukan penelitian ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan lembar kerja siswa dalam meningkatkan minat belajar peserta didik kelas VIII di SMPN 2 Telukjambe Timur. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah kualitatif deskriptif. Dengan sumber data guru pendidikan agama islam, peserta didik kelas VIII, dan waka kurikulum SMPN 2 Telukjambe Timur. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan ialah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, instrumen penelitian yang digunakan ialah pedoman wawancara. Teknik keabsahan data yang digunakan ialah tringulasi sumber, tringulasi teknik dan waktu. Dan menggunakan teknik analisis model Miles and Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukan penggunaan LKS pada pembelajaran PAI peserta didik kelas VIII di SMPN 2 Telukjambe Timur cukup efektif meningkatkan minta belajar PAI. Minat belajar siswa terhadap penggunaan LKS dalam pembelajaran PAI cukup baik hal ini diindikasikan dengan tercapainya indikator minat belajar Slameto. Penggunaan LKS dalam pembelajaran PAI efektif membantu proses pembelajaran karena materi dan tugas yang ada di LKS mudah dipahami oleh peserta didik.

Abstract

Abstrak. Kecerdasan emosional adalah kemampuan seseorang dalam mengelola kehidupan emosional secara cerdas melalui kemampuan kesadaran diri, mengelola emosi, motivasi diri, empati dan membina hubungan. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kecerdasan emosional peserta didik kelas VII di SMP Negeri 2 Telukjambe Timur. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menggambarkan dan melakukan deskripsi mengenai Kecerdasan Emosional Pada Peserta Didik Kelas VII di SMP Negeri 2 Telukjambe Timur. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data angket kecerdasan emosional dengan sampel 82 peserta didik kelas VII di SMP Negeri 2 Telukjambe Timur maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa diperoleh nilai rata-rata dari seluruh indikator sebesar 83% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Indikator pertama yaitu kesadaran diri memperoleh rata-rata sebesar 84%. Indikator kedua yaitu mengelola emosi memperoleh rata-rata sebesar 84%. Indikator ketiga yaitu motivasi diri memperoleh rata-rata sebesar 82%. Indikator keempat yaitu empati memperoleh rata-rata sebesar 85%. Dan indikator kelima yaitu membina hubungan memperoleh rata-rata sebesar 82%. Kata Kunci : Kecerdasan Emosional, Pendidikan Agama Islam, Peserta Didik

Abstract

ABSTRAK Transisi energi dari energi konvensional ke energi terbarukan semakin meningkat, sejalan dengan kesadaran akan keberlanjutan penggunaan energi terbarukan secara global. Laboratorium Fotovoltaik Universitas Katolik Indonesia Atma Jaya berkapasitas 5,2 kWp dikembangkan untuk mendukung pendidikan dan pelatihan industri. Tulisan ini menjelaskan dampak positif Laboratorium terhadap sudut pandang mahasiswa dan industri, yaitu tentang kinerja panel surya, evaluasi sistem on-grid dan off-grid, serta pemeliharaan system. Berdasarkan kepuasan mahasiswa disimpulkan sangat puas dan puas berkisar 93,17%, dengan rincian sangat puas 50,14%, dan puas 43,03%. Sedangkan Industri menunjukkan sangat puas dan puas sebesar 93,96%, dengan rincian sangat puas 44,99%, dan puas 48,97%. Kata kunci: Fotovoltaik, Energi Surya, Pendidikan Tinggi, Studi Eksploratori.  ABSTRACT The energy transition from conventional energy to renewable energy is increasing, in line with the awareness of the sustainability of renewable energy use globally. The Atma Jaya Catholic University Photovoltaic Laboratory with a capacity of 5.2 kWp was developed to support industrial education and training. This paper describes the positive impact of the Laboratory from the perspective of students and industry, namely on the performance of solar panels, evaluation of on-grid and off-grid systems, and system maintenance. Based on student satisfaction, it is concluded that very satisfied and satisfied are around 93.17%, with details of very satisfied 50.14%, and satisfied 43.03%. While the industry shows very satisfied and satisfied of 93.96%, with details of very satisfied 44.99%, and satisfied 48.97%. Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini membahas penurunan torka cogging pada generator sinkron magnet permanen untuk untuk aplikasi pada pembangkit listrik tenaga angin. Untuk meminimalkan nilai torka cogging, dapat dilakukan berbagai teknik, salah satunya adalah kombinasi teknik pangkasan magnet dan alur tiruan pada inti jangkar. Teknik ini diterapkan terhadap generator sinkron magnet permanen tipe integral slot dengan jumlah gigi alur 30 dan kutub 10 dan tipe fractional slot number dengan jumlah gigi alur 24 dan kutub 10. Berdasarkan hasil analisis menggunakan metode elemen hingga, didapatkan bahwa tipe fractional slot number memiliki penurunan torka cogging sebesar 98.51 % dari torka berbebannya, sedangkan penurunan torka cogging pada generator tipe integral slot number sebesar 75 % dari torka berbeban.Kata kunci: Generator sinkron magnet permanen, torka cogging, fractional slot number, integral slot number, pangkasan magnet, alur tiruan ABSTRACTThis research discusses the reduction of cogging torque on a permanent magnet synchronous generator for applications in wind power plants. To minimize the value of the cogging torque, various techniques can be carried out, one of which is a combination of magnet trimming techniques and artificial grooves on the anchor core. This technique is applied to an integral slot type permanent magnet synchronous generator with 30 grooved teeth and 10 poles and a fractional slot number type with 24 grooved teeth and 10 poles. Based on the results of analysis using the finite element method, it was found that the fractional slot number type has a torque reduction. cogging of 98.51% of the loaded torque meanwhile the decrease in cogging torque on the integral slot number type generator is 75% of the loaded torque.Keywords: Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator, cogging torque, fractional slot number, integral slot number, magnet shaping, artificial groove

Abstract

ABSTRAKTorsi cogging adalah torsi yang terjadi akibat interaksi antara gaya tangensial di ujung magnet dengan material alur stator, yang menahan gerakan rotor pada generator magnet permanen. Torsi ini harus diminimalkan dalam aplikasi turbin angin karena dapat menghambat pergerakan awal generator. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh metode tertentu dalam mengurangi torsi cogging dan pergeseran poros. Metode yang digunakan melibatkan penerapan coakan dua tingkat pada ujung magnet rotor dengan tiga konstruksi magnet rotor yang berbeda, sementara kondisi inti stator tetap identik. Analisis numerik menggunakan FEMM 4.2 menunjukkan pengurangan torsi cogging yang signifikan sebesar 99,70% dan pengurangan pergeseran poros sebesar 60% secara vertikal dan 51% secara horizontal.Kata kunci: coakan dua tingkat, generator magnet permanen, gaya magnet tangensial, torka cogging, pergeseran poros ABSTRACTCogging torque is the torque resulting from the interaction between tangential forces at the magnet's edge and the stator slot material, which opposes the rotor's motion in a permanent magnet generator. This torque must be minimized in wind turbine applications as it can hinder the generator's initial movement. This study aims to analyze the effect of a specific method on reducing cogging torque and shaft shifting. The method involves applying a two-step notch at the rotor magnet's edge with three different rotor magnet constructions, while keeping the stator core conditions identical. Numerical analysis using FEMM 4.2 achieved a significant cogging torque reduction of 99.70% and reduced shaft displacement by 60% vertically and 51% horizontally.Keywords: Two-step notch, permanent magnet generator, tangential magnetic force, shaft shifting
