Abstract

Health service accessibility regulations play a crucial role in determining the level of health service utilization in the community. Health centers provide health services to the community, while efforts to improve access to health services are important factors for quality health, including improving access to basic health services. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of service access on the utilization of health services in health centers. This study uses the method of Retrospective Observation, namely with a qualitative approach in Systematic Review to synthesize the research results. Literature searches are carried out online from Google Scholar and Publish and Perish using the keywords "Service Access, Health Services." Health services are very important for the community, especially access and utilization of health services in health centers; therefore, to increase the utilization of health center services, efforts that need to be made are that health centers need to run a mobile health center program as an alternative to facilitate access to health services, especially for people with very poor economic status so that they can access health center services without financial barriers such as transportation costs. It can be concluded that there is an influence of access to health services on the utilization of services at health centers. Keywords: Access to services, Utilization of Health Services, Health Centers

Abstract

Climate change is increasingly impacting public health, including the heightened risk of diseases due to changing weather patterns and air quality. This study aims to measure the effectiveness of health education in enhancing the knowledge of students at MAN 1 Muara Bungo regarding adaptation efforts related to climate change. The sample consists of 50 individuals, including mentors and students actively involved in scout activities. The results indicate a significant increase in students' knowledge after participating in the health education sessions, with the average score rising from 44.463 to 54.33. These findings suggest that health education based on healthy lifestyle practices can be an effective intervention in improving community preparedness, particularly among the youth, to face health challenges posed by climate change.

Abstract

Abstract

Background: In order to support the realization of equitable health development, one form of government policy in the health sector is the Special Non-Physical Allocation Fund for the Health Sector, hereinafter referred to as the Non-Physical DAK for the Health Sector. Non-Physical DAK for the Health Sector is a fund allocated to the regions to finance the operations of national priority program activities in the health sector that are regional affairs in order to increase access to and quality of health services in the regions. Implementation and management of non-physical DAK must follow the principles of good governance, namely transparency, effectiveness, efficiency, accountability, and not duplication with other funding sources. In its implementation, DAK's Non-Physical Health Sector refers to Minister of Finance Regulation No. 204 of 2022. DAK funds consist of BOK, Maternity Guarantee, Community Health Center Accreditation, and Drug and Food Supervision. Research Methods: This research is comparative, where this research focuses on comparing the realization of the management analysis of Health Operational Assistance (BOK) funds taken from the Merangin Health Office object with Minister of Finance Regulation Number 204 of 2022. This research uses a qualitative method; according to Shiddiq and Choiri (2019), qualitative research is research that produces findings that cannot be achieved using statistical procedures or quantitative methods. There were five informants in this study. This research was carried out in July–August 2023 at the Merangin Health Service. Research Results: From the planning aspect, it can be explained that the management of BOK funds at the Merangin Health Office is 100% in accordance with PMK regulations No. 204 of 2022, namely starting from the allocation of BOK seen from the plan for carrying out activities by attaching a letter submitting SPM GU to BPKAD Merangin, which is based on the number of residents around the work area of each health center, conditions around the work area of the health center, and the proposed program. The next stage is planning and preparing the RUK and RPK at each community health center, which is also in accordance with PMK regulation No. 204 of 2022. Conclusion: Planning in the financial management of the BOK for each health center starts with the proposed activity plan (RUK) made by the health center, which then becomes an activity implementation plan (RPK) through approval from a meeting with the Merangin Health Office and the BOK and RPK management team as a condition for allocating BOK funds.

Abstract

In 2025, Bungo Hospital saw a 0.3% rise in patient safety issues. If left unchecked, these issues may damage hospitals' and patients' reputations. Poor communication and a heavy workload are the causes of an error that arises and contributes to an increase in patient safety occurrences. This study set out to examine how communication and workload affected the frequency of patient safety incidents in hospitals. There are eighteen work units that directly serve patients in this study's unit analysis. There were 90 participants in total, including the head of the work units, the person in charge of the work units, and the person in charge of the work units' quality. Google Forms questionnaire instruments were used to gather the primary data. The Workload Indicator of Staffing Needed (WISN) computation is used to quantify workload, and the Communication Openness Measurement (COM) is used to measure communication. The patient safety committee provided the data on patient safety incidents. Cross tabulation was used for the analysis, and the Pareto principle was used for interpretation. The findings indicated that 33.3% of work units had a high patient safety incident rate, the majority of work units (83.3%) had a low workload, and the majority of work units (61.1%) had poor communication. The Pareto concept revealed that while communication affected the number of patient safety incidents, workload had no effect on patient safety occurrences. Therefore, in order to improve information flow, knowledge transfer, and employee comprehension of the significance of patient safety in hospitals, hospitals must improve communication patterns and flows as well as the requirement for information disclosure.
