Abstract

Breastfeeding is one of the first steps for a human being to get a healthy and prosperous life. UNICEF states that IMD is one of 10 steps towards successful breastfeeding that will have a positive impact on the health of mothers and babies. Babies who are allowed to breastfeed early are eight times more successful in exclusive breastfeeding and breastfeeding for a long time until the age of 2 years. This study aims to determine the effect of the development of the standby husband model on the husband's support in preparation for the implementation of Early Breastfeeding Initiation. This type of research is a quantitative (analytic) research method using a quasi-experimental design with a post-test-only control group design. The research subjects were husbands of multigravida mothers with a gestational age of 32 weeks with a total of 94 people. Collecting data using primary data. Univariate data analysis using percentages and bivariate analysis using chi-square. The results showed that there was an effect of developing the standby husband model by giving a pocketbook to the husband's support in preparation for the implementation of Early Breastfeeding Initiation (IMD) with a p-value of 0.01, Suggestions are addressed to midwives who provide services to pregnant women and maternity mothers to include husbands in preparation for the implementation of Early Breastfeeding Initiation by providing information about the need for husband's support in preparation for the implementation of IMD through the provision of pocketbooks.

Abstract

Banyak Puskesmas yang gagal menyelenggarakan Program Pelayanan Kesehatan Remaja (PKPR) sesuai dengan pedoman nasional meskipun telah dilakukan upaya yang ekstensif. Banyak puskesmas yang mengalami penurunan pelayanan kesehatan akibat pandemi Covid-19, yang juga menghambat efektivitas program kesehatan saat ini seperti PKPR. Dengan diberlakukannya PSBB oleh pemerintah, terdapat kebutuhan nyata terhadap layanan berbasis masyarakat, khususnya PKPR. Penelitian ini akan mengkaji penyelenggaraan PKPR di Puskesmas untuk mengetahui bagaimana PKPR di Puskesmas Kota Balikpapan Provinsi Kalimantan Timur, dijalankan. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross-sectional untuk memberikan gambaran penyelenggaraan PKPR di Puskesmas Kota Balikpapan Provinsi Kalimantan Timur, dengan menggabungkan metode deskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini mengkaji staf pemimpin PKPR, staf pelaksana PKPR, dan staf pendukung serta pengelola Puskesmas dan remaja di 12 Puskesmas yang berada di wilayah kerja Kota Balikpapan Provinsi Kalimantan Timur, yang berjumlah 48 orang. Kuesioner Standar Pelayanan Kesehatan Nasional digunakan sebagai instrumen penelitian. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa penerapan PKPR sejalan dengan standar nasional PKPR dan tingkat kepatuhan terhadap standar tersebut masih rendah di manajemen, remaja, dan jejaring. Di masa wabah Covid-19, pemberian layanan bagi remaja yang mengalami gangguan reproduksi merupakan hal yang penting sebagai upaya preventif dan promotif.

Abstract

The maternal mortality rate (MMR) in Lampung Province in 2020 has increased compared to 2019, namely from 110 cases to 115 cases. Bandar Lampung City is one of the regions in Lampung Province with the third highest MMR, 10 cases (8.69%). This research aims to determine the description of childbirth complications experienced by postpartum mothers using the IKAlin instrument (Labour Complications Instrument) in Bandar Lampung in 2023. This type of research uses a descriptive survey method with random sampling. A sample of 222 postpartum mothers with labor complications. This research method involves interviews with postpartum mothers using the IKAlin instrument. The average results of mothers' answers show that the complication of preeclampsia that is felt is high blood pressure, the bleeding complication that is most often felt during labor is experiencing heavy bleeding, and the complication of dystocia that is most often felt is undergoing a prolonged second stage. The advice given is to encourage education about early detection in the community so that people, especially pregnant women, are aware of the importance of monthly pregnancy checks at health facilities to detect birth complications as early as possible.
