Abstract

This research is form the background of several phenomenon. lack of encouragement from the teacher or the surrounding environment on the importance of reading. Starting from those phenomenons, this study aims to determine the contribution of reading interestshort story to the student’s short story. The method that is used in this research is correlation analisys. The population is students of grade MAN 1 Padang. There are 103 students there. Sampling of this study was done by using simple random sampling, which resulted in sample of 50 students. Through these data sources the data obtained for the three variables studied. Data were collected using a questionnaire and tests that has been tested the validity and reliability. Furthermore, the data processed by the product moment correlation, multiple correlation, F test, and multiple regression testing to determine the contribution among those variables that being studied. Based on this research, the calculated level of understanding of respondents to a variable interest in short story was 70% with more than enough categories, while the contribution of writing short story skills by 24.80%. So, overall reading interest short story to the student’s ability at Grade X MAN 1 Padang.

Abstract

Karya sastra merupakan dunia imajinasi yang memberikan makna tertentu kepada pembaca. Karya sastra mampu mengajak pembaca berimajinasi sesuai dengan konteks yang dibaca. Seorang pengarang ketika menyuguhkan suatu karya sastra, dia akan memilih kata-kata yang mampu memberikan makna, baik makna secara konotatif maupun denotatif. Suatu karya sastra akan tidak berdaya, manakala ia tidak memiliki unsur seni. Jadi hakikat karya sastra adalah keindahan. Karya sastra juga gambaran hasil rekaan seseorang dan menghasilkan kehidupan yang mewarnai sikap, latar belakang, dan keyakinan pengarang. Literary work is a world of imagination that gives a certain meaning to the reader. Literary works are able to invite readers to imagine in accordance with the context being read. An author when presenting a literary work, he will choose words that can give meaning, both connotative and denotative meanings. A literary work will be helpless, when it has no artistic elements. So the essence of literary work is beauty. Literary works also illustrate the results of a person's invention and produce a life that colors the attitudes, backgrounds, and beliefs of the author.

Abstract

SMP IT Madani Pekanbaru is one of the private junior high schools in Pekanbaru City. This school is a mentoring partner who has limited knowledge about entrepreneurship in developing students' potential to be able to choose products that are easy to market. The students are children whose parents' economic income levels are on average below the UMR income standard, so it is necessary to grow and motivate students to become entrepreneurs after participating in the learning process. Students need assistance in opening entrepreneurial insights and knowledge and choosing products to be marketed. The platforms used as mentoring materials are lectures, discussions, and service learning. Through this counseling the students have an entrepreneurial spirit so that their enthusiasm is high to become an entrepreneur. The service learning mentoring method can improve students' ability to market a product, they also know and can choose what kind of product to market, get it easily and sell it quickly so that it can help the family's economy.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the human resource (HR) development efforts at BUMDes Bersama Betara in Mekar Jaya, Tanjung Jabung Barat, in 2024, focusing on the implementation of educational and training methods. The research uses a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation from key informants, including BUMDes managers and staff. The findings reveal that the educational method faced challenges due to poor communication and teamwork, leading to delays in daily operations and mishandling of customer goods. These issues stemmed from inadequate supervision and a lack of professionalism, where personal conflicts disrupted the development process. Similarly, the training method showed limited improvements, with persistent production errors and low employee initiative, primarily caused by fatigue and insufficient focus during work-hour training sessions. Overall, both HR development methods were found to be suboptimal, highlighting the need for future program adjustments, including clearer professional standards and better scheduling. This research provides insights for enhancing HR strategies in village-owned enterprises like BUMDes.

Abstract

This study describes the background of social criticism in Fahd Djibran's novel Tak Sempurna using a sociology of literature review. The author's interest in the science of social criticism, in this case, the sociology of literature related to social life in educational issues that exist in Indonesian society. The social life of society written in the literary work of the novel is what the author wants to reveal in this study. The purpose of this study is to reveal the social criticism contained in the novel Tak Sempurna by Fahd Djibran with a literary sociology approach, especially the sociology of literary works.describing social attitudes and social behavior in the novel. This research uses the hermeneutic or interpretation method. The object of this research is the novel Tak sempurna by Fahd Djibran.Published in 2013, by the publisher Kurniaesa Publishing, published in Yogyakarta.The focus of this research is social criticism in the novel Tak Sempurna by Fahd Djibran with a review of literary sociology, which looks in terms of social attitudes and social behavior in the novel.Then it can be understood that the data of this study were collected descriptively.Data analysis techniques in the application of the interpretation method, researchers emphasize the hermeneutics developed by Paul Ricoeur.

Abstract

Kemiskinan dan kesejahteraan masyarakat merupakan fokus utama pemerintah melalui program pengembang an kewirausahaan, termasuk pemberdayaan Ibu Rumah Tangga (IRT) agar dapat berwirausaha. Salah satu tantangan signifikan yang dihadapi IRT pelaku usaha rumahan adalah kurangnya pemahaman dan keterampilan dalam menyusun laporan keuangan sederhana, yang seringkali menyebabkan tidak adanya pemisahan dana usaha dengan dana rumah tangga serta ketidakjelasan profitabilitas. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan penyuluhan dan pendampingan pembuatan laporan keuangan sederhana kepada IRT yang menjalankan usaha rumahan di Komplek Jatayu Lanud Roesmin Nurjadin Pekanbaru. Metode yang digunakan meliputi ceramah, diskusi, dan pendampingan daring, yang dilaksanakan melalui empat tahapan: persiapan (observasi dan wawancara kebutuhan mitra), pembekalan materi (motivasi, dasar laporan keuangan, contoh, dan praktik), monitoring (sesi tanya jawab dan diskusi), serta evaluasi untuk mengukur peningkatan pemahaman. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa penyuluhan berjalan lancar dan berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan serta semangat peserta dalam menyusun laporan keuangan sederhana. Para IRT kini lebih mampu mengelola arus kas usaha mereka, yang diharapkan dapat berkontribusi pada kemajuan usaha dan peningkatan kesejahteraan keluarga.
