Abstract

Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is a calculation tool to find out a determined solution for a complex structure subjected to some certain static load. To obtain the most valid solution from this analysis, one of the parameters needed is mesh convergence test. This paper discusses the mesh convergence test by using FEA in a 2-kW induction motor shaft where the motor is used in an electric motorcycle. FEA was carried out by using static structural module in ANSYS 14.5 software. The shaft was subjected to static load from rotor and pulley weight. These loads were supported by a pair of ball bearing. Furthermore, the shaft was meshed by using various sizes of mesh to find out the effects to mesh convergence. The applied mesh sizes were 3; 2,5; 2; 1,5; and 1 mm. These simulation results represented the value of deformation and stress on the shaft. The convergence test was depicted in a graph of elements number vs. deformation and elements number vs. Von – Mises stress. The maximum deformation was located around rotor seat, while the minimum one was around the rear bearing seat. On the other hand, maximum and minimum Von – Mises stress appeared around rear bearing seat. Overall, it can be concluded that the results of deformation and Von – Mises stress had reached convergence

Abstract

Permainan bola voli merupakan cabang olahraga yang menuntut beragam kemampuan diantaranya fisik, taktik, teknik dan mental. Kondisi fisik atlet yang prima dapat menghasilkan kinerja yang optimal. Salah satu latihan kondisi fisik yaitu dengan latihan plyometric. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan pengaruh latihan plyometric terhadap otot tungkai dalam permainan bola voli. Pelatihan plyometric adalah bentuk teknik pelatihan yang digunakan oleh atlet di semua jenis olahraga untuk meningkatkan adaptasi kinerja. Plyometrics terdiri dari yang cepat peregangan otot (tindakan eksentrik) segera diikuti oleh aksi konsentris atau pemendekan dari otot yang sama. Daya Ledak atau power dipengaruhi oleh latihan plyometric Power otot tungkai merupakan kemampuan seseorang dalam menggunakan otot tungkai untuk menghasilkan kekuatan yang maksimal denga waktu yang sesingkat-singkatnya. Power otot tungkai menjadikan kekuatan, kecepatan,daya ledak serta elastisitas otot meningkat. Latihan plyometric dalam bola voli akan mempengaruhi performa serta kinerja atlet dalam permainan. Kemampuan daya ledak dipengaruhi oleh tingkat kekuatan otot yang tinggi, tingkat kecepatan yang tinggi serta kemampuan kelincahan dalam mengintegrasikan antara kekuatan dan kecepatan otot.     Kemampuan mengeluarka daya tahan yang singkat serta menampilkan kekuatan yang cepat akan menghasilkan power yang maksimal. BUILDING A FEEL OF NATIONALISM IN PLURAL SOCIETY THROUGH FOOTBALL AbstractsVolleyball is a sport that demands a variety of abilities including physical, tactical, technical and mental. The athlete's excellent physical condition can produce optimal performance. One of the physical condition exercises is plyometric training. This study aims to reveal the effect of plyometric training on leg muscles in volleyball games. Plyometric training is a form of training technique used by athletes in all types of sports to improve performance adaptation. Plyometric consists of a rapid stretching of a muscle (eccentric action) immediately followed by a concentric or shortening action of the same muscle. Explosive Power or power is influenced by plyometric training. Leg muscle power is a person's ability to use leg muscles to produce maximum strength in the shortest possible time. Leg muscle power makes strength, speed, explosive power and muscle elasticity increase. Plyometric training in volleyball will affect the performance and performance of athletes in the game. The ability of explosive power is influenced by a high level of muscle strength, a high level of speed and the ability of agility in integrating between muscle strength and speed. The ability to release short endurance and display fast strength will produce maximum power.

Abstract

Mahasiswa sebagai bagian dari civitas akademika perguruan tinggi dewasa ini dituntut   untuk   melakukan   publikasi   ilmiah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui trend publikasi ilmiah yang dilakukan mahasiswa Program Magister Pendidikan Jasmani FIKK UNY angkatan 2021-2024. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskrptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survey tentang studi kasus (casus study research) pemetaan penelitian mahasiswa. Instrumen dan pengumpulan data penelitian ini pedoman ceklist dan studi dokumentasi. Populasi dan sampel yang ditetapkan peneliti untuk dipelajari dan kemudian ditarik kesimpulannya dalam penelitian ini seluruh publikasi ilmiah sebanyak 42 yang ditemukan dari karya mahasiswa Program Magister Pendidikan Jasmani FIKK UNY. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dengan persentase. Hasil Trend publikasi ilmiah karya mahasiswa Program Magister Pendidikan Jasmani FIKK UNY angkatan 2021-2024 sebagai berikut; 1) Jenis publikasi paling dominan adalah karya ilmiah yang diterbitkan di jurnal internasional, dengan jumlah 33 publikasi atau 78,57%. 2) jenis penelitian yang dipublikasikan mayoritas menggunakan penelitian jenis deskriptif, sejumlah 10 publikasi atau 23,81%, 3) subjek penelitian yang dipublikasikan mayoritas merupakan peserta didik, sejumlah 18 publikasi atau 42,86%, 4) lokasi penelitian yang dipublikasikan mayoritas dilakasnakan di sekolah, sejumlah 31 publikasi atau 73,81%. SCIENTIFIC PUBLICATION TREND OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION MASTER PROGRAM FIKK UNY AbstractsStudents as part of the higher education academic community are currently required to carry out scientific publications. This study aims to determine the trend of scientific publications by students of the Master of Physical Education Program, FIKK UNY batch 2021-2024. This research is a quantitative descriptive research with a survey approach about case studies (casus study research) mapping student research. This research instrument and data collection are checklist guidelines and documentation studies. The population and sample set by researchers to study and then draw conclusions in this study were all 42 scientific publications found from the work of students of the Master of Physical Education Program at FIKK UNY. Data analysis techniques are carried out by quantitative descriptive analysis with percentages. Trend results of scientific publications by students of the Master of Physical Education Program FIKK UNY batch 2021-2024 as follows; 1) The most dominant type of publication is scientific work published in international journals, with 33 publications or 78.57%. 2) the majority of published research types use descriptive type research, a total of 10 publications or 23.81%, 3) the majority of published research subjects are students, a total of 18 publications or 42.86%, 4) the majority of published research locations are carried out in schools, a total of 31 publications or 73.81%.

Abstract

Hand and body lotion is a beauty care product that is used for the body and hands to maintain moisture. Moringa leaves (Moringa Oleifera Lam) contain many free radical inhibitor molecules and several other endogenous metabolites that are rich in antioxidant activity. This study aims to determine the antioxidant activity in hand and body lotion formulations with varying concentrations of 70% ethanol extract of Moringa leaves (Moringa Oleifera Lam). The method of this research was the phytochemical testing of 70% ethanol extract of Moringa leaves (Moringa Oleifera Lam) and hand and body lotion formulations of 70% ethanol extract of Moringa leaves (Moringa Oleifera Lam) with four formulations of hand and body lotion, namely F0 (negative control) F1 (2%), F2 (3%), and F3 (4%). Furthermore, tests were carried out on hand and body lotion preparations, including organoleptic tests, homogeneity, pH, spreadability, adhesion, viscosity and antiscaldant activity tests. Based on research results, 70% ethanol extract of Moringa leaves (Moringa Oleifera Lam) contains alkaloids, tannins, saponins, and steroids. In the homogeneity test, all formulas met the homogeneity requirements. All formulas produce the same pH, which is 6, which can be said to meet the standard skin pH requirements. In the spreadability and adhesion tests, all formulas met the standard requirements of the stickiness test and spreadability test. In F2 with a concentration of 3%, the viscosity test decreased slightly, namely 1667 MS. Whereas in testing the antioxidant activity of all formulas, they are in the weak antioxidant category, namely the IC50 results are at a value of 250-500 Ppm.

Abstract

Jicama tubers (Pachyrhizus erosus) contain antioxidants, including vitamin C, flavonoids, saponins, phenolic compounds. In this study the aims were to formulate and evaluate the stability of a body scrub cream of jicama starch with varying concentrations of 16%, 15, and 14% stearic acid emulsifiers, and 2%, 3%, and 4% triethanolamine. This research method was carried out in a laboratory experiment to determine variations in the concentration of stearic acid and triethanolamine emulsifiers. In addition, observations were made to evaluate the physical quality of the organoleptic test preparations, homogeneity, pH, emulsion type, and physical stability using the accelerated cycling test method. The results of this study indicate that there is an effect of different concentrations of stearic acid and triethanolamine on FI which has a denser form than FII and FIII, after 6 storage cycles FII and FIII change color to yellowish white. This shows that the formulation has the best properties for body scrub cream preparations, is stable and meets the requirements based on organoleptic tests, homogeneity tests, pH tests with a standard facial skin pH of 4.5-7, emulsion type tests, and 12-day stability tests. phase completion occurs, namely FI with a concentration of 16% stearic acid and 2% triethanolamine.
