Abstract

Program Kampus Mengajar bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi dan numerasi. Selain itu peserta kampus mengajar juga memberikan kontribusi dalam meningakatkan kualitas guru terkait dengan model pembelajaran dan media belajar. Studi ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan dengan studi kasus di SD Negeri Bluru Kidul 2 Sidoarjo. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi, mengimplementasi dan merefleksi peran program Kampus Mengajar berbasis pembelajaran digital. Riset ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif eksplanatori. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa program Kampus Mengajar dapat memfasilitasi integrasi teknologi dalam kurikulum sekolah dasar. Program Kampus Mengajar ini berhasil meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dan memperkaya proses pembelajaran dengan alat-alat digital. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya kerjasama antar-sektor dalam mengadopsi inovasi pendidikan, membuka jalan bagi pendekatan pembelajaran yang lebih dinamis dan inklusif di masa depan. The Teaching Campus program aims to improve literacy and numeracy. In addition, teaching campus participants also contribute to improving the quality of teachers related to learning models and learning media. This study uses an action research method with a case study at SD Negeri Bluru Kidul 2 Sidoarjo. This study aims to identify, implement and reflect on the role of the Teaching Campus program based on digital learning. This research uses explanatory descriptive analysis. The findings show that the Teaching Campus program can facilitate the integration of technology in the primary school curriculum. The Teaching Campus program successfully increased student engagement and enriched the learning process with digital tools. This research confirms the importance of inter-sectoral cooperation in adopting educational innovations, paving the way for a more dynamic and inclusive approach to learning in the future.

Abstract

This research is emphasized on the improving students character especially in their humanity character. In fact, there are many students do not realize that humanity decreases every day. Furthermore, they do not get some humanity aspects in their class because the lecturer only focuses on the teaching result. Here, the researcher tries to bring the humanity aspects in literature class exactly at Literary Criticism subject through Sue Monk Kidds The Secret Life of Bees. The students are English department students in the third semester of Nahdlatul Ulama University of Sidoarjo. The researcher leads the students to use genetic structuralism theory in analyzing the novel.  In this case, the researcher leads the students to see the literary work from two points of views namely intrinsic and extrinsicand connect directly the phenomena from that period of the literary works are created to the intrinsic element of the literary work itself.After the students find some information about the content of the novel and relate it to social phenomena that occurred in South Carolina in 1964. As the result, they find some racism action faced by Afro-Americans that are categorized in inhumanity attitude, they are; prejudice, segregation, discrimination, extermination, and expulsion. All of the attitudes show that the humanity is needed to teach to students in order to decrease racism and inequality in our life.Keywords:     secret life of bees, humanity, racism.

Abstract

This study investigates the classroom management strategies of an English teacher at a private Islamic Junior High School in Sidoarjo, focusing on time and space management, student behavior, and instructional strategies. The research aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of these strategies in creating a conducive learning environment. Observations were conducted during two meetings on May 28 and 29, 2024, using an observation checklist based on McLeod, Fisher, and Hoover's classroom management theory. Additionally, an interview with the teacher provided further insights. The results revealed that the teacher effectively managed classroom time and space, scoring 50% in both sessions. However, student behavior management could have been more effective, with scores of 45% and 50% in the respective meetings. Instructional strategies were also limited, with scores of 40% in both meetings. The study highlights a well-organized classroom environment but points to areas for improvement, including enhancing behavior management techniques and incorporating diverse instructional strategies. The implications suggest a need for more dynamic and responsive approaches to classroom management, including integrating technology and fostering personal connections with students to improve engagement and learning outcomes.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan salah satu aspek kritikal dalam pembentukan karakter dan kecerdasan anak. Proses pendidikan tidak hanya melibatkan transfer ilmu pengetahuan tetapi juga pengembangan sosial dan emosional siswa. Penelitian ini mengkaji isu terkait pentingnya pemahaman dinamika psikologi anak dalam proses pendidikan untuk meningkatkan keefektifan pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Tujuannya adalah untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana pengalaman mengajar dapat mempengaruhi pemahaman dan penerapan teori psikologi anak oleh calon guru sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif melalui studi kasus pengalaman mengajar yang mencakup observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan pengajaran yang mempertimbangkan kebutuhan psikologis individu siswa dapat secara signifikan meningkatkan interaksi dan hasil pembelajaran. Kontribusi utama dari penelitian ini adalah penggarisan pentingnya integrasi pengalaman praktik mengajar dalam pendidikan guru, yang mendukung penerapan teori psikologi anak. Education is one of the critical aspects in shaping children's character and intelligence. The educational process involves not only the transfer of knowledge but also the social and emotional development of students. This research examines issues related to the importance of understanding the dynamics of child psychology in the educational process to improve the effectiveness of learning in elementary schools. The aim is to explore how teaching experience can influence the understanding and application of child psychology theories by prospective primary school teachers. The research method used was a qualitative approach through a case study of teaching experiences that included observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The results showed that a teaching approach that considers students' individual psychological needs can significantly improve learning interactions and outcomes. The main contribution of this research is the outlining of the importance of integrating teaching practice experiences in teacher education, which supports the application of child psychology theory.

Abstract

Dinamika interaksi antara guru dan siswa dengan berbagai karakteristik, serta bagaimana nilai spiritual diintegrasikan dalam pendidikan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami lebih dalam tentang praktik pengajaran yang efektif di sekolah dasar dan memberikan rekomendasi untuk peningkatan kualitas pendidikan guru. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif, di mana data dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung, wawancara, dan refleksi pribadi selama periode praktik lapangan. Sumber data utama adalah catatan harian, refleksi kegiatan mengajar, dan tanggapan dari guru serta siswa di MI An-Nahdliyin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesabaran, empati, dan keberanian adalah kualitas penting yang harus dikembangkan oleh calon guru dalam menghadapi berbagai tantangan pengajaran. Selain itu, penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya pendekatan pendidikan yang holistik dengan memperhatikan aspek spiritual serta akademik dalam pengajaran. The dynamics of interaction between teachers and students with various characteristics, as well as how spiritual values are integrated in education. The purpose of this study is to understand more about effective teaching practices in primary schools and provide recommendations for improving the quality of teacher education. The method used was a case study with a qualitative approach, where data were collected through direct observation, interviews and personal reflection during the field practice period. The main data sources were daily notes, reflections on teaching activities, and responses from teachers and students at MI An-Nahdliyin. The results showed that patience, empathy, and courage are important qualities that prospective teachers should develop in facing various teaching challenges. In addition, this study emphasizes the importance of a holistic approach to education by paying attention to spiritual as well as academic aspects of teaching.

Abstract

Pendidikan matematika merupakan aspek penting dalam perkembangan akademik siswa di Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah An Nahdliyin. Pendekatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengalaman belajar yang menarik dan interaktif bagi siswa kelas tartil I kelas tartil Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah An Nahdliyin. Model pembelajaran ini menekankan penggunaan beragam indera siswa dalam proses belajar, sehingga informasi dapat diserap dengan lebih baik. Pendekatan multisensori menunjukkan antusiasme dan keterlibatan yang lebih tinggi dalam proses pembelajaran. Temuan ini mendukung teori bahwa penggunaan berbagai modalitas indera dalam pembelajaran dapat memperkuat pemahaman dan retensi informasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan upaya-upaya kepala madrasah dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pengelolaan kurikulum, yang dapat menjadi acuan dalam merancang strategi pengembangan kurikulum yang efektif. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi yang berarti bagi peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran matematika di tingkat pendidikan dasar dan dapat menjadi acuan bagi inovasi metode pembelajaran di masa depan.Mathematics education is an important aspect in the academic development of students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah An Nahdliyin. This approach aims to provide an interesting and interactive learning experience for Tartil I class students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah An Nahdliyin. This learning model emphasizes the use of students' various senses in the learning process, so that information can be absorbed better. A multisensory approach shows higher enthusiasm and involvement in the learning process. These findings support the theory that the use of multiple sensory modalities in learning can strengthen understanding and retention of information. The results of this research show the efforts of madrasah heads to improve curriculum management skills, which can be a reference in designing effective curriculum development strategies. It is hoped that the results of this research can make a significant contribution to improving the quality of mathematics learning at the basic education level and can become a reference for innovative learning methods in the future.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengevaluasi efektivitas metode peer teaching dalam meningkatkan keterampilan mengajar calon guru, mengingat pentingnya pengembangan keterampilan ini untuk menciptakan pembelajaran yang efektif. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengidentifikasi efektivitas metode peer teaching dalam berbagai aspek keterampilan mengajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode peer teaching secara signifikan meningkatkan keterampilan mengajar, termasuk pengelolaan kelas, teknik pengajaran, dan interaksi dengan siswa, serta meningkatkan kepercayaan diri calon guru. Novelty dari penelitian ini terletak pada konfirmasi efektivitas metode peer teaching dalam konteks pendidikan guru di Indonesia. Kontribusi penelitian ini memberikan dasar untuk integrasi metode peer teaching dalam kurikulum pelatihan guru, yang dapat berdampak positif pada kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia.   This research evaluates the effectiveness of the peer teaching method in improving the teaching skills of prospective teachers, considering the importance of developing these skills to create effective learning. The aim of the research is to identify the effectiveness of the peer teaching method in various aspects of teaching skills. The research results show that the peer teaching method significantly improves teaching skills, including classroom management, teaching techniques, and interaction with students, as well as increasing the self-confidence of prospective teachers. The novelty of this research lies in confirming the effectiveness of the peer teaching method in the context of teacher education in Indonesia. This research contribution provides a basis for the integration of peer teaching methods in teacher training curricula, which can have a positive impact on the quality of education in Indonesia.

Abstract

Pembelajaran berbasis proyek merupakan pendekatan yang mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kolaboratif di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas pembelajaran berbasis proyek dalam meningkatkan kolaborasi antar siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah tinjauan literatur sistematis dari berbagai studi terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang terlibat dalam pembelajaran berbasis proyek menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan sosial, berpikir kritis, dan motivasi belajar. Selain itu, guru melaporkan kemudahan dalam pengelolaan kelas dan peningkatan dinamika kelompok. Kontribusi penelitian ini adalah memberikan bukti empiris tentang manfaat pembelajaran berbasis proyek dan mendorong implementasinya dalam kurikulum sekolah dasar.   Project-based learning is an approach that can increase student involvement and create a collaborative learning environment in elementary schools. This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of project-based learning in increasing collaboration between students. The research method used is a systematic literature review of various related studies. The results showed that students who engaged in project-based learning showed significant improvements in social skills, critical thinking, and learning motivation. Additionally, teachers reported ease in classroom management and improved group dynamics. The contribution of this research is to provide empirical evidence about the benefits of project-based learning and encourage its implementation in the elementary school curriculum.

Abstract

Mahasiswa diharapkan dapat berperan dalam peningkatan kompetensi pendidikan melalaui program Kampus. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi, mengimplementasi dan menganalisis peran serta dampak mahasiswa dalam program Kampus Mengajar terhadap peningkatan kompetensi di Sekolah Dasar. Studi ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan dengan studi kasus di SDN Penatar Sewu. Riset ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif eksplanatori. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran melalui metode inovatif dan interaktif, termasuk pengembangan literasi dan numerasi. Integrasi antara teori dan praktik, serta kolaborasi antar-sektor dianggap penting dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang efektif dan inklusif. Program ini berhasil meningkatkan keterampilan literasi dan numerasi siswa, serta memberikan pendekatan pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif dan interakti terhadap lingkungan belajar yang lebih dinamis.Students are expected to play a role in improving educational competence through the Teaching Campus program. This study aims to identify, implement and analyze the role and impact of students in the Teaching Campus program on improving competence in elementary schools. This study uses an action research method with a case study at SDN Penatar Sewu. This research used explanatory descriptive analysis. Findings show that students make a significant contribution to improving the quality of learning through innovative and interactive methods, including literacy and numeracy development. The integration of theory and practice, as well as inter-sectoral collaboration, is considered important in creating an effective and inclusive learning environment. The programsucceeded in improving students' literacy and numeracy skills, as well as providing more innovative and interactive learning approaches towards a more dynamic learning environment.
