Abstract

This research aims to analyze strategies and methods of learning Arabic vocabulary that is tailored to the level of students. The research method is library research which is some of the data resources took by books and journals; then researchers analyze the data with content analysis methods. The problem which mostly figured out by students in learning Arabic is their lack knowledge of understanding its vocabulary, the problem which mostly figures out by students in learning Arabic is short of knowledge in vocabulary and understanding its meaning. Those impact to the low skills of students in learning the Arabic language. So, there is a need for vocabulary learning strategies and methods that are appropriate to the level of students. The results found that there were strategies and methods which appropriate to the level of students for the primary level (mubtadi'): (1) the mim-mem method, and (2) the singing method, for the intermediate level (mutawasiá¹­): (1) Total Physical Response (TPR) method, (2) effective demonstration method, and (3) direct method, and for advanced-level (mutaqaddim): (1) reading method, and (2) cognitive method.

Abstract

This study aims to formulate the design of a semantic dictionary of Arabic sentence patterns in the Qur'an. The research also aims to complement research on existing Al-Qur'an Arabic dictionary designs, especially for Al-Qur'an Arabic lessons in Indonesia. This research is qualitative with a literature study approach. Where the research data were obtained from the primary reading sources of the Al-Qur'an and the book Mu'jam al-Furūq al-Dalāliyyah fī al-Qur'ān al-Karīm and then developed into dictionary designs. The results of the study show that the design of this semantic dictionary can be considered a book dictionary design that supports the understanding of a book through the presentation of the meaning of the vocabulary, syntax, and morphology recorded in the book. The design of the semantic dictionary of sentence patterns in the Qur'an that the researcher offers is by writing the column rows, numbers, names of surahs and verses, the sentence patterns that appear, and the text of the verses.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the maharah qiroah assessment instrument based on language tests in the book al-Qiroah al-Rosyidah. The data used in this paper is in the form of sentences, phrases and discourses containing the judgments contained in the book. The source of data from this study is the assessment of linguistic tests.  The assessment on buku al-Qiroah al-Rosyidah only includes reading texts and memorization mastery, so it is necessary to innovate the assessment of the book based on language tests.  The results of this study include maharah qiroah assessment techniques and the form of assessment contained in the book.  The assessment technique of the maharah qiroah language test includes the technique of reading, understanding, and determining the main idea and concluding the content of the reading text.   The form of assessment of the language test includes reading the text aloud, multiple choice, determining the main idea, and description.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Shorf melekat dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Kemampuan berbahasa Arab santri tidak terlepas dari pengetahuan dan keterampilan menggunakan Ilmu Shorf dalam kalimat. Namun, penilaian pembelajaran Shorf masih cenderung diabaikan dengan memberikan pertanyaan berbasis hafalan santri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penilaian pembelajaran Shorf di pesantren dalam perspektif Higher Order Thinking Skills. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan dari informan yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling di Pondok Pesantren Darussalam. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik obserbasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa latihan dan penilaian pembelajaran Shorf dilaksanakan di pesantren. Soal-soal latihan yang diberikan pada santri pada aspek pengetahuan belum mengacu pada soal dengan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Untuk mencapai kemampuan berbahasa Arab yang baik, dibutuhkan latihan dan penilaian Shorf yang mengarah pada pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran, serta memperhatikan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi.

Abstract

This study aims to Strategy the instrument for assessing the maharah qira'ah test in the book al-Arabiyah linasyi'in volume 5, and to analyze the instrument to be studied, qualitative research methods are used to examine comprehensively and in depth related to the quality of assessment, research This study uses descriptive qualitative, data used in this study in the form of fact findings or content of the material and patterns of the aspects of the questions in the assessment from the book al'arabiyah linasyi’in volume 5. It was found that there were four aspects of the assessment instrument that contained in   the book include: understanding, pronunciation (ta'bir), mufradahat and use of language, and aspects of qawāid nahwu. This study focuses on aspects of maharah qirā'ah assessment. Based on the research results, there are updates in the assessment aspect using the method of reading aloud and silently with a rubric assessment system on a scale of 1-5 by determining quality, so that this scientific contribution can be used directly in the field of oral examinations.

Abstract

Each learner is unique and has a diverse background and abilities. Every learner has the right to receive learning according to their way of learning. Differentiated learning is one of the solutions to fulfill this diversity. The process of differentiating a series of learning processes, including assessment, is carried out to answer each learner's learning needs, styles, or interests. This research aims to create an assessment innovation in differentiated learning based on project-based learning, especially in writing skills. The method used in this research is a literature study with a descriptive qualitative approach. The result of this study is that the assessment of writing skills in project-based learning differentiated learning can be done through product or project assessment that is adjusted to students' readiness and ability.

Abstract

This study aims to discover the innovative writing skills assessment techniques in class X Arabic books published by the Ministry of Religion in 2020 based on HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills). This research is library research, and this research is descriptive qualitative literature research. The Grade X Arabic book published by the Ministry of Religion in 2020 is the primary source of information for this essay, which is also supported by other written sources such as books, periodicals, etc. Referring KMA (Keputusan Menteri Agama) is a Decree of the Minister of Religion Number 183 of 2019; it is explained that all types and assessment techniques must be directed at measuring the attainment of higher-order thinking skills or HOTS. This class X Arabic book published by the Ministry of Religion in 2020 is an implementation of KMA (Keputusan Menteri Agama), is Decree of the Minister of Religion Number 183 of 2019. After a more in-depth analysis, the results of this study show that the technique of assessing aspects of knowledge in writing techniques or mahārah kitābah in class X Arabic books published by the ministry religion 2020 does not entirely refer to HOTS, there are still some of the questions that are still under the HOTS category.

Abstract

Hypnoteaching is a new learning method in Arabic learning. Various kinds of Arabic language learning methods have developed before, such as the lecture method, memorizing vocabulary and Arabic rules. But the method makes students feel bored in learning because it cannot make students enjoy learning so that learning outcomes are better. Starting from the development of hypnoteraphy in various functions and uses such as health, psychological to the world of education which is then called hypnoteaching. This method is a new learning method in Arabic that uses students 'positive suggestions to reach students' subconscious. This innovation is an acute hypnoteraphy with teaching so as to produce a new method as an alternative choice in the selection of fun Arabic learning methods. This research is a library research that seeks to find the literature that is in accordance with the theme of the discussion then analyzed by descriptive analysis. The results showed that hypnoteaching fulfilled the requirements as a new method in Arabic learning. This is one of the innovations in Arabic learning methods that can be used today. Because this method maximizes students' subconscious, so learning can achieve maximum results with fun learning.

Abstract

Listening comprehension is one of the foundational skills in language acquisition, yet its implementation in Arabic language education is often overlooked, especially in many Islamic educational institutions where more focus is placed on grammar and translation. This study aims to analyze the teaching strategies for listening skills (maharah istima’) as conceptualized by Dr. Muhammad Shalih Syanthi in his book Al-Mahārah al-Lughawiyyah. Using a qualitative descriptive method with content analysis, this study examines the pedagogical ideas proposed in the listening chapter of the book. The analysis reveals that Dr. Syanthi emphasizes gradual learning, the use of authentic and contextual audio materials, the development of psychological readiness in learners, active listening exercises, and formative assessment. Moreover, he identifies several key barriers to effective listening—such as distraction, boredom, low stamina, and a critical attitude towards the speaker—and offers practical strategies to overcome them. The findings conclude that M.Syanthi’s framework for teaching maharah istima’ is highly relevant and adaptable for modern Arabic language instruction, especially in enhancing communicative competence and learner-centered pedagogy in both traditional and contemporary settings.
