Abstract

Muhammad saw. sudah dibina di atas  pewarisan tradisi atau yang biasa disebut dengan sunnah nabawiyyah, beliau mewariskan tradisi itu kepada para sahabat, kemudian  para sahabat mewariskannya kepada para tabi’in dan seterusnya sampai kepada kita.  Lalu apabila Islam menghendaki tradisi itu -antara lain- untuk mengembangkan kreasi tentang pola-pola dalam kehidupan serta mengembangkan gairah hidup hingga tercapainya titik tujuan dan apabila Islam juga menginginkan agar pendidikan itu digunakan –antara lain- untuk melestarikan nilai-nilai dan demi mengembangkan kreativitas peserta didik, maka keduanya tidak bisa dipisahkan karena memiliki tujuan yang sejalan dan saling mempengaruhi. Sebab itu, tradisi yang sudah menyatu dalam diri masyarakat bisa mewujud dalam aspek agama, sosial, ekonomi, budaya, pendidikan dan lain sebagainya yang sejatinya semua itu adalah hasil dari pendidikan juga.

Abstract

One of the obstacles in foreign language acquisition, including the Arabic is the minimal level of acquisition the students get. This is presumably caused by the unfavorable environment for the students to be accustomed to use the language, that encourages them to be learner-independent. For this reason, the education institution needs to develop boarding school to build the Arabic environment as an active and innovative in the process of language learning. There are some favorable factors as contributing to the language learning process and there are some other unfavorable factors hampering it. However, by involving any party and optimize the school environment, the language acquisition of the students can be optimized.

Abstract

Pesantren merupakan salah satu khazanah dalam pendidikan Indonesia. Hal ini disebabkan model pendidikan yang berbeda dan alumni yang dihasilkan. Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor adalah Pesantren yang telah berdiri sejak 1926. Model pendidikan dan peran alumni menjadi salah pertimbangan orang tua untuk memasukkan anaknya ke Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor.  Persayaratan masuk Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor adalah kemampuan baca Al-Qur’an. Sebagai upaya untuk mempersiapkan calon santri diadakanlah pelatihan baca Al-Qur’an dan pendampingan calon santri. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan pada masa pandemi covid-19. Metode yang dipergunakan adalah metode sorogan daring dan mengirimkan materi video ke peserta. Untuk pendampingan dilaksanakan selama pendaftaran sampai pengumuman kelulusan. Pengabdian berjalan lancar dengan kelulusan peserta pelatihan sebesar 95,91%. Para peserta yang lulus menjadi santri Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor.

Abstract

This study aims to Strategy the instrument for assessing the maharah qira'ah test in the book al-Arabiyah linasyi'in volume 5, and to analyze the instrument to be studied, qualitative research methods are used to examine comprehensively and in depth related to the quality of assessment, research This study uses descriptive qualitative, data used in this study in the form of fact findings or content of the material and patterns of the aspects of the questions in the assessment from the book al'arabiyah linasyi’in volume 5. It was found that there were four aspects of the assessment instrument that contained in   the book include: understanding, pronunciation (ta'bir), mufradahat and use of language, and aspects of qawāid nahwu. This study focuses on aspects of maharah qirā'ah assessment. Based on the research results, there are updates in the assessment aspect using the method of reading aloud and silently with a rubric assessment system on a scale of 1-5 by determining quality, so that this scientific contribution can be used directly in the field of oral examinations.

Abstract

As a miracle given to the Prophet Muhammad SAW, Al Quran has miraculous aspects from various aspects, including editorial balance, scientific information, information of the past and future, as well as the beauty of the style of expression in terms of language. This miracle establishes that Al Quran is not only special in terms of its content, but also in terms of the letters, words, sentences, letters and section that make it up. The objectives of this research are: 1) Describe the definition, elements and meaning of I'jaz Al-Quran, 2) Describe the miracles and beauty of the style of expressing the Al-Quran from a linguistic perspective, 3) Describe the impact of I'jaz Al-Quran on readers. The results of this research: 1) Miracles in Al Quran are miracles that are owned or contained in Al Quran, rather than evidence of truth that comes from outside Al Quran or external factors, then the elements accompanying the miracle must be 'extraordinary', shown by a prophet , contains challenges, and the person challenged is unable to serve; 2) I’jaz Al-Quran from a linguistic aspect can be seen from the arrangement of words and sentences in the Al-Quran, including its tone and style, brevity and conciseness, editorial balance, and the presence of palindromes. Therefore, 3) Al Quran has an impact on those who read it by satisfying experts, thinkers, philosophers and lay people. Apart from that, the Al-Quran also satisfies the mind and soul, namely by means of conveying the Al-Quran which is varied, not monotonous, and in accordance with human nature.

Abstract

Radicalism is not a thought that has emerged recently, but has existed since the Prophet Muhammad came with a prophetic message. Even Rasulullah SAW himself openly opposed these radicals. Radicalists often use the same verse in the Koran to treat groups who disagree with them as disbelievers. This research aims to reveal the stylistic perspective in opposing Radicalism's misinterpretation of the 'Al-Hakimiyyah verse' in surat Al-Maidah verse 44, and how this misinterpretation influences the thinking of modern radicalism. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with a stylistic approach. The type of research is text study with the main data being surat Al-Maidah verse 44. The data collection technique is analysis of the verse text, and the data analysis technique uses a literature study method based on Stylistics to reveal the language style in the verse. The results of this research reveal 4 stylistic characteristics (Isim Maushul Lil 'Aqil (من), Nafyul Fi'il Mudhori', Ma Al-Kulliyah, Taukidain: bil Jumlah Al-Ismiyah wa Taukid bid Dhomir) found in the verses of Al-Hakimiyyah and supports the opinion of Ahlusunnah ulama who say that this verse is a 'contextual verse' and not a 'textual verse'. As was also discovered, the great influence of misinterpretation of the Al-Hakimiyyah verse on modern radicalist thinking with the emergence of various groups of Modern Radicalists who adopted classical radicalist teachings, mainly due to errors in interpreting this 'Al-Hakimiyyah verse' textually. Abstrak Radikalisme bukanlah pemikiran yang muncul baru-baru ini, namun sudah ada sejak Rasulullah SAW datang membawa risalah kenabian. Bahkan Rasulullah SAW sendiri menentang para radikalis tersebut secara terang-terangan. Para Radikalis sering menggunakan ayat yang sama di dalam Al-Quran untuk menjadikan golongan yang tidak sependapat dengannya sebagai orang yang telah keluar dari Islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap perspektif stilistika dalam menentang misinterpretasi kaum Radikalisme terhadap ‘ayat Al-Hakimiyyah’ pada surat Al-Maidah ayat 44, dan bagaimana pengaruh misinterpretasi tersebut terhadap pemikiran radikalisme modern. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Jenis penelitian adalah studi teks dengan data utama surat Al-Maidah ayat 44 yang dikumpulkan dengan teknik baca dan catat, dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode studi literatur berdasarkan stilistika dalam mengungkap gaya bahasa di dalam ayat. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkap 4 karakteristik stilistika yang ditemukan di dalam ayat Al-Hakimiyyah meliputi isim maushul lil ‘aqil (من), nafyul fi’il mudhori’, ma al-kulliyah, taukidain: bil jumlah al-ismiyah wa taukid bid dhomir. Karakteristik stilistika di dalam ayat ini menentang interprestasi kaum radikalis yang menganggap ayat Al-Hakimiyyah sebagai ‘ayat hakikat’. Sebagaimana ditemukan pula pengaruh besar dari misinterpretasi ayat Al-Hakimiyyah terhadap pemikiran radikalis modern dengan munculnya berbagai kelompok radikalis modern yang mengadopsi ajaran radikalis klasik, utamanya disebabkan karena kesalahan dalam menafsirkan ‘ayat Al-Hakimiyyah’ ini secara tekstual.

Abstract

Arabic language, in its sociological context is divided into two varieties: fusha and ‘amiyya. Arabic fusha is the official language and perceived as the language of Islam. In contrast to the fusha, ‘amiyya is the language used by the Arab people in their daily conversations. However, this ‘amiyya is considered as inferior. The method used in this study was qualitative that stressed the interaction between language and its sociological context. The method assumed that social and political events affected language use in a particular society. The paper tries to re-popularize the two terms used by Ferguson that are "high variety" (H) and “low variety” (L) culture in analyzing the two languages varieties. Besides, the paper explores the tension of the two languages through contemporary social and political events taking place in the Arab World. The Arabic fusha is perceived as a representation of “H” culture because it is a language used in religious literature and official writings, while the ‘amiyya referred to as a representation of “L” variety culture because it is used only as a medium of regular communication.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to discuss linguistic thoughts and Arabic learning in Indonesia, along with both innovation opportunities and their actualization in the development of Arabic learning. This study is literary with an intertextual approach to the literature associated with two fields. The meaning of the text is done by content analysis. This study concludes that the innovation of linguistic thoughts and Arabic learning can be done on three levels, namely Arabic linguistic study and development, contextualization of Arabic research methodology, and standardization of ICT-based Arabic language learning and research. Various problems surrounding learning Arabic language can be solved through research and study of Arabic linguistics in depth, comprehensive and cross-disciplinary of science. Opportunities to innovate linguistic thoughts and language learning are wide open. Various scientific forums and journals as well as research in Arabic-based learning development of linguistic thought can lead to tajdîd (reform, innovation)  and ijtihâdat lughawiyyah (linguistics innovation). The future of linguistic studies and Arabic learning in Indonesia is believed to be very bright and enlightening if reinforced by the development of linguistic research meth- ods and Arabic learning.Keywords:Innovation, linguistic thought, Arabic learning, linguistic research, scientific and academic forums

Abstract

Qur'anic phonology is the study of the sound and pronunciation of the sacred text of the Qur'an. One important aspect of this phonology is al-nabr, which refers to the emphasis of the voice in the pronunciation of the verses of the Qur'an. This emphasis not only serves to clarify meaning, but also has aesthetic and spiritual implications in the recitation of the Qur'an. The practice of al-nabr in the Qur'an involves other sciences such as ashwāt, tajweed and makhraj, which provide guidance on how each letter and syllable should be pronounced correctly. This research is a library research using one of the research work steps of ashwāt science. It explores the ways in which al-nabr is applied in the rules of Arabic and its application in the Qur'an. By understanding the phonology of the Qur'an, one can appreciate the linguistic beauty and depth of meaning contained in the Qur'an. Through descriptive analysis, this article contributes to the treasures of ulumul Qur'an, especially the field of ashwāt science and the urgency of al-nabr in the study of the Qur'an.
