Abstract

The development of student worksheet for biology learning needs to be done so that the biology learning process can run more optimally. This study aims to identify the need for Project Based Learning (PjBL)-based student worksheet's with socioscientific content, which will be developed as teaching materials to support the optimization of biology learning, especially in the material on environmental change and conservation. The method used in this research is qualitative, with a descriptive approach. The subjects used were 35 students of class 10.E7 of State Senior High School number 2 Padang Panjang. Data collection was carried out in three ways, namely observation of the school, surveys of students, and in-depth interviews with teachers. The instruments used are questionnaires and interview sheets. Through data collection, the results showed that Project-based learning has been implemented. However, there is no student worksheet with a project-based learning model with socioscientific content, especially on the material of environmental change and preservation. Therefore, it is necessary to develop PjBL-based student worksheets with socioscientific content on the material of environmental change and preservation in the Senior High School E phase. Abstract

Learning becomes more impactful when students can identify and understand core scientific ideas, and one effective way to support this is by assessing their KPS during learning. To achieve this, educators can use assessment tools that are aligned with specific KPS indicators. In addition, there is currently no specific assessment tool that targets KPS in the context of the topic of plant regulatory systems. This study aims to produce a product in the form of a valid science process skills (KPS) instrument in biology learning on plant regulatory system material in class XI SMA. This type of research is research and development that adopts Plomp's development model which consists of three main stages, where this research is limited to two stages, namely preliminary research and prototyping phase. This research used Tessemer's formative approach which includes the stages of self evaluation and expert review. Data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. Data collection instruments used interview sheets and expert validity questionnaires (expert review). Produk yang dikembangkan divalidasi dalam lima aspek penilaian, yaitu aspek materi, aspek konstruksi, aspek bahasa,aspekĀ  kegrafikaan, dan aspek Keterampilan Proses Sains (KPS) oleh 2 validator dosen biologi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai validitas instrumen yaitu validasi ahli aspek materi 90%, aspek konstruksi 95%, aspek bahasa 91,6%, aspek kegrafikaan 87,5%, dan validasi aspek KPS 75%. Kesimpulan: instrumen tes keterampilan proses sains pada materi sistem regulasi tumbuhan dinyatakan valid.

Abstract

21st century education aims to improve students' scientific literacy skills. The results of the PISA study show that Indonesian students' scientific literacy is in the low category. The low level of student scientific literacy is caused by several factors in the education system, such as the curriculum, teachers and students themselves. This research aims to see the effect of the model Problem Based Learning (PBL) in Biology learning on students' scientific literacy abilities at SMAN 2 Pulau Punjung based on three aspects of scientific literacy, namely aspects of context, knowledge and competence. This research is experimental research with methods like an experiment. The research sample consisted of 70 students consisting of two classes taken using engineering purposive sampling. The instrument used is a scientific literacy test. The data analysis techniques used are divided into three, namely normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis test. Based on the research results, it is known that the hypothesis test results obtained were 0.000 < 0.05. This shows that there is an influence of the PBL model on students' scientific literacy abilities in Biology learning at SMAN 2 Pulau Punjung. This can be seen in the average value of the scientific literacy abilities of students taught using the PBL model which is higher than the average scientific literacy abilities of students taught using the learning model. discovery learning

Abstract

The kelulut / Trigona bee business development sector is still carried out as a small-scale business and is still far away when compared to other countries that have been able to produce large-scale honey production. Indonesia's honey production has only reached around 2,000 tons / year with a low level of honey consumption per capital, which is around 10 to 15 grams / person / year or only equivalent to one tablespoon per person per year. UMKM Umah Labah An Nahl Farm and Education located in Cimpua Pasa Durian village, Nagari Lareh Nan Panjang Sungai Sariak, Padang Pariaman Regency was founded by Febri Mulyadi, S.Pd. with two colleagues two years ago. In general, kelulut beekeepers in Cimpua village have not been organized in containers such as farmer groups or cooperatives so that they work individually so that their business progress has not been encouraging, including Umah Labah. This UMKM Umah Labah An Nahl Farm and Education is just developing and has various problems, including: 1. Marketing or marketing; 2. Educating consumers about the taste and quality of honey; 3. Working partners (retailers and so on) in adjusting prices; 4. Choosing good and attractive packaging and 5. Taking care of licensing correspondence. Thepurpose of the service is to develop superior products of Padang Pariaman Regency produced by Umah Labah An Nahl Farm and Education MSMEs to improve the quality and quantity of products / services to be highly competitive
