Abstract

Abstract: Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK) is a conceptual framework that shows the relationship between three kinds of knowledge needed by the teacher or prospective teacher including technological knowledge, pedagogical knowledge, and content knowledge. This research is a development research that aims to see how the quality of the design workbook strengthening of technology knowledge for high school biology teacher. This workbook was developed from the essential indicator of Teacher Competency Test (UKG). The design phase, internal validation and trial I are conducted on biology education University of Riau. External validation and trial II are conducted at MGMP Biology Pekanbaru. The quality of workbooks is assessed from four aspects: format and graphics, illustrations, language and content. The workbook generated in this study for the validation stage by five validator validator in whole aspect is in very valid category with score 3.42 and the average value of response of 20 teachers to the workbook developed is 3.53 with very good category, so the workbook deserves to be used as a self-learning resource for strengthening technological knowledge for high school biology teachers.Keywords: Workbook, Technological Knowledge, Senior High School Biology Teacher

Abstract

Independence in learning is very necessary for the application of online learning. Students as learners must have Self Directed Learning. This study aims to develop independent learning resources to facilitate student learning independence. Development research using the ADDIE model is carried out until the development stage. Needs analysis is conducted on 49 Biology Education Students with data collection instruments using the SDL test consisting of 5 question indicators: 1) Identifying learning needs; 2) Set up study routines and discover concept mappings; 3) Using concept/outline mapping as a useful understanding various information; 4) Self-assessment, honing potential; 5) Can explore self-ability. The test results show that in indicator 1 there are 9 students (18.37%) and indicator 5 as many as 11 students (22.45%) who have SDL abilities. The results of the needs analysis become the basis for the development of interactive electronic books through features such as material summaries, images, animations, videos, references (links and barcodes), interactive exercises, keywords, interest facts, practice questions, formative tests, and reflections. It is hoped that this interactive e-book can increase the independence of undergraduate and PPG students in studying biotechnology material as a source of independent learning.Abstrak Kemandirian belajar sangat diperlukan dalam penerapan pembelajaran daring. Mahasiswa sebagai pembelajar harus memiliki kemandirian belajar (Self Directed Learning/SDL). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sumber belajar mandiri untuk memfasilitasi kemandirian belajar mahasiswa. Penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model ADDIE penelitian ini dilakukan sampai tahap development. Analisis kebutuhan, dilakukan pada 49 orang Mahasiswa Pendidikan Biologi dengan instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan tes SDL terdiri dari 5 indikator pertanyaan: 1) Mengidentifikasi kebutuhan belajar; 2) Mengatur rutinitas belajar dan menemukan pemetaan konsep; 3) Menggunakan pemetaan konsep/garis besar sebagai metode yang berguna untuk memahami berbagai informasi; 4) Menilai sendiri, merefleksikan dan mengasah potensi; 5) Bisa mengeksplor kemampuan diri. Hasil tes menunjukkan pada indikator 1 sebanyak 9 orang (18,37%) dan 5 sebanyak  11 orang  (22,45%) yang memiliki kemampuan SDL. Hasil analisis kebutuhan menjadi dasar untuk pengembangan buku elektronik interaktif melalui fitur-fitur barupa ringkasan materi, gambar, animasi, video, referensi (link dan barcode), latihan interaktif, key word, interesring fact, latihan soal, tes formatif dan refleksi. Diharapkan e-book interaktif ini dapat meningkatkan kemandirian mahasiswa S1 dan PPG dalam mempelajari materi bioteknologi sebagai sumber belajar mandiri.

Abstract

Pengembangan LKPD pembelajaran biologi perlu dilakukan untuk mengoptimalkan proses pembelajaran biologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kebutuhan LKPD berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) terintegrasi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi gaya belajar yang akan dikembangkan sebagai bahan ajar yang mampu mendukung optimalnya proses pembelajaran biologi, khususnya materi perubahan dan pelestarian lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif, dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Subjek yang digunakan sebanyak 34 orang siswa kelas 10.E2 Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 7 Padang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tiga cara yakni observasi ke sekolah, survey terhadap siswa, serta wawancara mendalam kepada guru. Sedangkan instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar angket dan wawancara.  Melalui pengumpulan data yang dilakukan didapatkan hasil bahwa sudah dilaksanakannya pembelajaran berdiferensiasi sesuai anjuran pada kurikulum merdeka . Namun, belum terdapat LKPD dengan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah yang terintegrasi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi gaya belajar, khususnya pada materi perubahan dan pelestarian lingkungan. Oleh karena itulah, perlu dikembangkan LKPD berbasis PBL terintegrasi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi gaya belajar pada materi perubahan dan pelestarian lingkungan fase E SMA.

Abstract

Education is something that every person needs. Education can be interpreted as an effort to make oneself better. The most important person in the learning process is the teacher, because they are responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating student learning outcomes. Providing more interesting and innovative teaching materials to support learning is oneway teachers can make classes active and interactive. Electronic modules (e-modules) can be adapted to students' needs and used for independent learning anytime and anywhere. E-modules are an independent teaching material for students which are arranged systematically and interestingly. The data collection technique used in this literature review was carried out by collecting similar articles that had been published in online journals via Google Scholar and Google Scholar. Based on the analysis of the e-module validity test, it was found that the average overall validity value of e-module teaching materials was 93.71% with very valid criteria. Based on the results of the meta-analysis, it can be concluded that the development of e-modules in high school biology learning has met the very valid category in terms of content, language, presentation and graphics so that this e-module can be used by teachers and students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa LKPD berbasis PBL terintegrasi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi gaya belajar pada materi perubahan dan pelestarian lingkungan yang valid. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Penelitian dilakukan di SMAN 7 Padang dan Departemen Biologi, FMIPA, UNP pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2023-2024. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data berupa lembar wawancara untuk guru, angket untuk peserta didik, serta angket validitas. Analisis data yang digunakan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan 3 tahapan dari model Four-D diantaranya define (pendefenisian), design (perancangan), dan develop (pengembangan). Kelayakan produk LKPD diukur berdasarkan validitas. LKPD divalidasi oleh 2 dosen departemen biologi FMIPA UNP dan 1 guru biologi SMAN 7 Padang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan dihasilkan LKPD berbasis PBL terintegrasi pembelajaran berdasarkan gaya belajar pada materi perubahan dan pelestarian lingkungan dengan nilai validitas rata-rata sebesar 93.96% dengan kriteria sangat valid. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKPD berbasis PBL terintegrasi pembelajaran berdasarkan gaya belajar pada materi perubahan dan pelestarian lingkungan fase E SMA yang dikembangkan valid ditinjau dari kelayakan isi, kebahasaan, penyajian, dan kegrafikan.

Abstract

Modul ajar merupakan salah satu perangkat ajar dalam kurikulum merdeka yamg wajib disusun secara lengkap dan sistematis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasikan modul ajar berbasis PBL pada materi sel fase F SMA yang valid. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model 4-D, yang dibatasi sampai 3 tahapan, yaitu mendefinisikan (define), desain (design), dan pengembangan (develop). Penelitian ini dilakukan di Departemen Biologi FMIPA Universitas Negeri Padang dan SMAN 1 Batusangkar pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2024/ 2025. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri 5 orang validator serta 178 orang peserta didik SMAN 1 Batusangkar. Data penelitian didapatkan dari observasi, analisis instrumen telaah perangkat pembelajaran dengan pendekatan Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL), angket kebutuhan guru dan peserta didik, dan uji validitas. Kelayakan produk modul ajar diukur berdasarkan hasil validitas. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, dihasilkan modul ajar sel berbasis PBL fase F SMA dengan nilai validitas rata-rata 95.46%, dengan kriteria sangat valid. Modul ajar yang telah dikembangkan ini diharapkan dapat membantu guru dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran sehingga pembelajaran dapat berjalan dengan efektif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan guru dan siswa terhadap LKPD Materi Bioteknologi Berbasis Project-Based Learning Terintegrasi Kearifan Lokal Fase E untuk SMA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan subjek penelitian yaitu 35 orang siswa fase E semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2023/2024 dan dua orang guru biologi. Analisis kebutuhan ini terdiri dari analisis awal akhir, analisis peserta didik, analisis tugas, dan analisis konsep. Dari hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan diketahui bahwa pengembangan LKPD Materi Bioteknologi Berbasis project-based learning terintegrasi Kearifan Lokal fase E untuk SMA sangat diperlukan.

Abstract

Adolescents' knowledge about maintaining a healthy excretory system is still low on average. One way to increase students' knowledge is to implement the use of learning resources that promote and prevent health problems of the excretory system in school learning. This research aims to determine the effect of using an integrated booklet on the preventive value of human excretory system material on student learning outcomes. This type of research is quasi-experimental research with a posttest only control design. The instrument used to measure student learning outcomes is in the form of multiple choice questions. The sample class was selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data analysis using the Man-Whitney test obtained a significance result of (0.000) < α value (0.05), so it can be concluded that the use of an integrated booklet with the preventive value of human excretory system material has a positive effect on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The development of student worksheet for biology learning needs to be done so that the biology learning process can run more optimally. This study aims to identify the need for Project Based Learning (PjBL)-based student worksheet's with socioscientific content, which will be developed as teaching materials to support the optimization of biology learning, especially in the material on environmental change and conservation. The method used in this research is qualitative, with a descriptive approach. The subjects used were 35 students of class 10.E7 of State Senior High School number 2 Padang Panjang. Data collection was carried out in three ways, namely observation of the school, surveys of students, and in-depth interviews with teachers. The instruments used are questionnaires and interview sheets. Through data collection, the results showed that Project-based learning has been implemented. However, there is no student worksheet with a project-based learning model with socioscientific content, especially on the material of environmental change and preservation. Therefore, it is necessary to develop PjBL-based student worksheets with socioscientific content on the material of environmental change and preservation in the Senior High School E phase. Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the model Problem Based Learning on students’ scientific communication skills on environmental change material at SMAN 2 Sungai Penuh. This type of research is Quasi experimental research, with research randomized posttest only control group design. Sampling is carried out using techniques purpose sampling, class X I and class X J were selected as research samples. Data analysis techniques are normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis test using independent sample t-test. Based on research, it was found that the result of scientific communication skills of experimental class students were higher than those in the control class. Hypothesis test result can be seen from value tcount > ttable. Based on the hypothesis test, it can be concluded that the model Problem Based Learning influence on students’ scientific communication skills on environmental change material at SMAN 2 Sungai Penuh.
