Abstract

Abstract— The purpose of this study was to know and analyze the Influence of supply chain management toward work motivation and it’s implication to employee performance. The method used in this research were descriptive survey method and explanatory survey. The population in this study amounted to 254 employees of BPNM (Christian Education Agency in Medan), with a sample size of 205 respondents. Analysis technique and hypothesis testing using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with LISREL 8.70 program. The result of research found that supply chain had positive and significant influence toward work motivation. Then also toward employee performance both partially and simultaneously supply chain management and work motivation had positive influence and significant. While, contribution percentage of supply chain, toward work motivation is 72% and contribution percentage of work motivation simultaneous toward employee performance is 85%. The implication on this research is that the employee performance especially on the quantity   will be able to be improved if BPNM able to increase work motivation especially to the needs’ motivation, work motivation will increase if BPNM is able to increase the leadership, especially in attitude dimension towards human, and increase the SCM especially to the internal integration, and supported by the improvement of interpersonal communication, mainly in social relationship. Furthermore, work motivation only have role for supply chain toward employee performance, while for SCM variable, work motivation don’t have role to escalate  employee performance, so in this model work motivation only as partial mediating.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work-life balance and work fatigue on nurses' job satisfaction at Dr.Midiyato Suratani Tanjungpinang Navy Hospital. The methods used in this study are descriptive and verifiative studies. The data collection technique used questionnaires distributed to nurses at the Dr. Midiyato Suratani Tanjungpinang Navy Hospital. The population was 132 nurses. While the qualified sample was 100 nurses using the Isaac and Michael table with an error rate of 5%. Data analysis using multiple regression using the JASP program. The findings of this study stated that work-life balance and work fatigue had a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction variables. The magnitude of the variable contribution of work-life balance and work burnout was 20.8% to job satisfaction. While the remaining 79.2% was influenced by other variables such as work stress, work attachment, compensation and organizational culture that were not examined in this study.

Abstract

Purpose – This paper seeks to examine the effect of remuneration and work discipline on the performance of employees of the Central Immigration Detention Center (Rudenim) Tanjungpinang City. Methodology/approach – The type of research used in this study is quantitative descriptive. The sample in this study was all employees totaling 96 respondents. Data collection techniques carried out in the form of questionnaires, and literature studies. The analytical techniques used are validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression tests and hypothesis tests with JASP. Findings – It was found that, remuneration affects employee performance and work discipline variables have a significant effect on employee performance. Overall, the variables of remuneration and work discipline affect employee performance. Novelty/value – As an employee, remuneration and work discipline are important factors in Tanjungpinang Rudenim in maintaining the performance of its employees.

Abstract

Private Higher Education is an alternative choice for students in continuing their education to the next level. Various variables such as university accreditation, brand image and integrated marketing communications are considered by students in making their choices. The purpose of this study was to identify and analyze the effect of accreditation on trust, the effect of brand image on trust, the effect of integrated marketing communications on trust, and the effect of accreditation, brand image and integrated marketing communications on trust, the effect of accreditation on the decision to choose a private university, the effect of brand image on the decision to choose a private university, the effect of integrated marketing communications on the decision to choose a private university, the effect of trust on the decision to choose a private university and the effect of accreditation, brand image, integrated marketing communications and mutual trust on the decision to choose a private university . The theory used in this review paper is Service Dominant Logic (SDL) is a marketing concept formulated by Stephen L. Vargo and Robert F. Lusch in 2004. According to Vargo and Lusch, SDL replaces the goods-dominant logic) centered on the exchange of physical goods with a service-dominant logic focused on value exchange and value creation through customer engagement. In SDL, marketing is defined as a social and economic process in which value is created through interaction between service providers and customers. The dimensions of the student's decision to choose are explained by Hadiyati (2016) Consists of Attention, Interest, Desire and Action (AIDA). Modern marketing theory can be shown in the AIDA Model is the basis of marketing, movement, organizing advertisements resulting from customer perceptions. AIDA explains that in building an effective communication program, the most important aspect is understanding the process by which consumers respond, for example when consumers make purchases at a certain products and services, it is necessary to understand the promotional efforts that can influence the consumer's response.

Abstract

Riau Islands is one of the provinces in Indonesia and has various cultures in it but the most striking is Malay culture and is located on one of the islands, namely Penyengat Island. In addition to having various kinds of Malay cultural historical relics, it also has schools that support children's education on Penyengat Island. One of the schools on Penyengat Island and the object of activity is SMP Negeri 9 Pulau Penyengat. This article will describe the concepts and practices of service learning conducted by Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) students and students of KKN Luar Negeri STIE Pembangunan Tanjungpinang at SMP Negeri 9 Pulau Penyengat. This learning service aims to provide knowledge about several learnings such as verbal and non-verbal communication, teamwork, and leadership packaged in games involving students of SMP Negeri 9 Pulau Penyengat. This activity was carried out directly at SMP Negeri 9 Pulau Penyengat. The result of this activity is that students of SMP Negeri 9 Pulau Penyengat understand about verbal communication, non-verbal communication, teamwork and leadership.

Abstract

Every company should be able to understand the behavior of consumers in the target market because the survival of the company as an organization that seeks to meet the needs and desires of consumers rely heavily on the behavior of consumers. Through an understanding of consumer behavior, the management company can develop appropriate strategies and programs to take advantage of existing opportunities and outperform their competitors. Therefore, the quality of good service and build relationships with customers able to accomplish the goals of the company. It certainly needs to be an active part of all employees and those involved in the provision of services. (MORA, 2017). Based on the analysis and discussion that has been described on the effect of customer relationship management, service quality, and customer satisfaction to customer loyalty in Corporate Travel Organizers Umrah and Hajj PT. Travel Albadriyah, it can be concluded that customer relationship management, service quality, and customer satisfaction proved to influence jointly on customer loyalty Corporate Travel Organizers Umrah and Hajj PT. Abstract

This research focused on higher of job rejection result and low of coordination among unit in problem solving of all the projects which is tend to decline of employee’s performance. The main issues discussed in this research is factors influence it, namely human procurement, development and intellectual capital. The research aims to analyze, describe and test the impact of human procurement, development on intellectual capital and its implication on employee’s performance at PT. Garuda Indonesia. The research used was descriptive and explanatory survey method, so the research attempts to collect, present, analyze, and test hypotheses, to make a conclusion were used Structural Equation Model (SEM) approach. The design of study is a survey research, the unit analysis selected were core knowledge worker with a sample size of 303 from 1245 employees, based on Slovin’s formula. The results indicated that human procurement, development have a simultaneously positive and significant effect on intellectual capital, and human procurement, development is either partially or simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee’s performance level through intellectual capital. The findings are: (1) human procurement indicates low contribution on either intellectual capital or employee’s performance, the highest score of human procurement dimension is selection and the lowest is recruitment dimension. 2) human development indicates low contribution on either intellectual capital or employee’s performance, the highest score of human development dimension is education and the lowest is training dimension (3) intellectual capital indicates moderate scores on employee’s performance level, the highest score of intellectual capital dimension is social capital and the lowest is structure capital dimension. (4) the highest score size of employee’s performance dimension based on employees perception is goal and the lowest is motive dimension.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the work environment, motivation and work motivation on employee performance at PT.Bio Soltamax Bandung City using a quantitative descriptive research approach. To obtain data according to the questions, researchers used data techniques: (1) Written surveys and (2) Questionnaires, the data collection tool used a questionnaire in the form of a Likert scale. There are four variables in this study, namely work environment (X1), incentive plan implementation (X2), motivation (X3) and employee performance (Y). The analysis used in this study uses path analysis. The test results show that the work environment has the greatest influence on employee performance, and the results of testing the work environment of PT. BIO Soltamax Bandung has the greatest influence on employee performance. Incentives do not affect employee performance. Simultaneous test results show that the atmosphere and motivating factors in the workplace have a significant effect on morale which in turn affects the work performance of employees of PT. Bio-Soltamax.

Abstract

This study aims to find strategies to improve the performance of First Expert Immigration Analysts at the Directorate General of Immigration at Soekarno-Hatta Airport through job characteristics, transformational leadership, and work attitudes, both directly and through the mediation of work motivation. The main focus is to identify the most effective way to develop employee motivation and performance through a multidimensional approach that includes individual factors, leadership, and the work environment. This study uses a mixed methods method, namely a combination of quantitative and qualitative approaches in data collection and analysis. The research location is at the Class I Immigration Office of Soekarno-Hatta Airport, which is administratively located in Banten Province. The focus of the research is on the role of Immigration Officers and First Expert Immigration Analysts. The study population was 406 people, with a sample of 202 people. This study concludes that job characteristics, transformational leadership, work attitudes, and work motivation have a direct and significant effect on employee performance. In addition, job characteristics, transformational leadership, and work attitudes also influence work motivation. Work motivation is proven to indirectly mediate the influence of these three variables on improving employee performance at the Directorate General of Immigration at Soekarno-Hatta Airport.
