Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji bagaimana kualitas produk, iklan, dan promosi mempengaruhi pembelian impulsif yang dilakukan melalui aplikasi Facebook. Penelitian ini mengkaji keterkaitan antara dua variabel melalui studi kasus kuantitatif. Sebanyak 75 responden merupakan sampel bagian populasi. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sementara kualitas produk tidak memiliki dampak besar pada terjadinya pembelian impulsif, iklan dan promosi memiliki dampak pada terjadinya impulsif. Manfaat dari penelitian dapat di gunakan untuk sumber referensi bagi perusahaan ataupun perorangan untuk memanfaatkan facebook ads untuk mengiklankan produk ataupun jasa.

Abstract

The existence of hotels in Indonesia is increasing every year. In line with theincreasing number of new hotels, the competition in the hotel industry is also getting tougher. Every hotel should be able to provide the best to the visitors. In an effort to realize this, it is very important to have employees who have good work productivity in an effort to achieve the goals set by the company. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of discipline and work motivation on work productivity of the employees of the Hotel Goodrich Suites Jakarta. The population of this study were all employees of Hotel Goodrich Suites Jakarta, totaling 60 people and all populations were taken as samples. So the sample is a saturated sample or census. Based on the results of data processing with SPSS, it was found that all statement items for each variable were declared valid and all variables used in the study were declared reliable. The results of the classic assumption test consisting of the normality test, multicollinearity test, and heteroscedasticity test show that all of them fulfill. The multiple linear regression equation obtained is Y = 6.795 + 0.211 X1 + 0.189 X2. The Adjusted R Square value is 0.116 (11.6%), so it can be said that the contribution of work discipline and work motivation variables to work productivity for employees at the Goodrich Suites Hotel Jakarta is very low. Based on the results of the t test, it can be said that work discipline has a significant effect on the work productivity of Goodrich Suites Jakarta hotel employees, while work motivation has no effect on employee work productivity.

Abstract

The government is trying to break away from dependence on the exploitation of natural resources, so in recent years, it has focused on tourism. The Covid-19 pandemic has greatly impacted the tourism sector, but in 2022 the level of foreign tourist visits to Indonesia is slowly starting to improve. Labuan Bajo is one of the areas targeted by the government to be developed in the tourism sector to make premium destination spots, in supporting the existence of tourism, various infrastructures are built so that they can become world-class destinations. In addition, Labuan Bajo also offers natural tourism products that require sustainability to maintain their natural habitat and certainly require considerable costs in conducting regular monitoring and maintenance. The existence of high development and operational costs, the government needs to find ways to obtain optimal state revenue, especially in terms of taxes charged to tourists. The revenue obtained from the tourism tax is a very important financial source for the government and tourism authorities to ensure the sustainability of the tourism sector and can improve the quality of destinations given to visitors to tourist attractions. In an effort by tourism policymakers to create an efficient and fair tax system in tourist destinations, it is very important to understand tourists' perceptions of willingness to pay (WTP), tax rates, and optimal allocation. This research is a qualitative study, and the purpose of this study is to evaluate the tourism tax charged to tourists as compensation to get optimal regional income and to measure the willingness to pay tourists. The ability to pay is necessary to know how much the government can attract taxes to get optimal local revenue but not be too burdensome for tourists. This research will also explore tourist perceptions regarding taxes and what things need to be developed so that absorption from state and regional budgets can be effective in developing destination areas, especially in a sustainable manner. The approach used in data collection using semi-structured in-depth interviews with international tourists visiting Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara. This research is expected to be used by policymakers to understand the optimal value of tourism taxes to be able to develop their regions.

Abstract

The opportunity to practice, try and be independent is the right of all human beings. In reality, there are still human beings who find it difficult to get the opportunity to practice and develop themselves with the new skills that exist. Opportunities to get training are sometimes not considered for people with disabilities. Physical, mental and intellectual limitations become a barrier to be equal with non-disabled people. Activity limitations are not an excuse not to study and practice. Human ability has a tendency to understand a skill that is given the right method and the right practical understanding. Easy understanding, innovation in implementation methods is a solution for people with disabilities. Ability does not appear suddenly but requires assistance. The implementation of training activities for people with disabilities carried out by the community service team at SLB Paedagogia Maospati – Kabupaten Magetan provided a positive stimulus. The formation of an understanding of how easy it is to make a bench that has aesthetic, functional and economic value. Through the technique of lamination of plywood on curved moldings, the students understand one of the carpentry techniques. With a pedagogic approach, the application of the lamination technique by simplifying the production stage makes it easy for students with disabilities. Inherent assistance that is carried out for students with disabilities is a means of transferring knowledge.

Abstract

Permasalahan anak jalanan perlu mendapat perhatian serius, karena menyangkut keberlangsungan hidup bangsa. Pemerintah Kota Surabaya menunjukkan komitmen dalam melakukan penanganan dan pemberdayaan terhadap anak jalanan. Dimana dalam pelaksanaannya bekerjasama dengan  Dinas Sosial Kota Surabaya dengan dengan menyediakan rumah singgah. Adapun prioritas utama kegiatan pada pemberian pendidikan, dimana anak-anak yang berada dalam binaan KANRI di daeran Wonorejo wajib melanjutkan pendidikan baik melalui kelas reguler maupun kejar paket. Pendidikan diberikan sampai mereka menyelesaikan pendidikan dijenjang pedidikan SMA. Selama berada di KANRI terhadap kebutuhan sandang, pangan dan kesehatan sudah tersedia dan mendapat perhatian dari DINSOS. Selain itu, pihak DINSOS juga memberikan bekal keterampilan bagi anak-anak sehingga mereka memiliki bekal pada saat keluar dari binaan. Tim pengabdian masyarakat sangat tertarik melakukan pendampingan bagi anak-anak yang berada dalam binaan DINSOS di daerah Wonorejo, karena tim ingin berbagi pengetahuan dan keterampilan bagi anak-anak guna menambah bekal mereka saat hidup di masyarakat.

Abstract

Pemerintah kota Surabaya saat ini sedang gencar-gencarnya mempromosikan dan mengembangkan keberadaan pariwisata yang ada. Dalam upaya menunjang keberhasilan program pengembangan pariwisata maka perlu dukungan dari berbagai pihak, dimana salah satunya adalah industri perhotelan. Hal tersebut akan mendorong pertumbuhan jumlah hotel yang ada di Surabaya dan salah satu kategori hotel yang mengalami pertumbuhan adalah hotel Bintang 3 di Surabaya. semakin banyaknya berdiri hotel-hotel baru maka tingkat persaingan yang ada akan semakin tinggi dan akan berdampak pada kinerja hotel. Oleh karena itu, hotel melaksanakan kegiatannya berorientasi pada pasar, sehingga akan dihasilkan produk dan pelayanan sesuai kebutuhan, keinginan pelanggan, dan adanya komitmen dari seluruh karyawan yang ada di hotel, serta memiliki keunggulan dalam bersaing. Tujuan penelitian untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh orientasi pasar terhadap keunggulan bersaing, serta menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh orientasi pasar dan keunggulan bersaing terhadap kinerja hotel. Responden pada penelitian ini adalah jajaran manajemen Hotel Bintang 3 di Surabaya sebanyak 150 responden. Berdasarkan pengolahan data menggunakan WarpPLS. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa orientasi pasar berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keunggulan bersaing. Orientasi pasar dan keunggulan bersaing berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja hotel Bintang 3 di Surabaya.

Abstract

The abilities of the disabled develop in a good direction if training and coaching are carried out routinely. Training provides motor and logic skills, coaching provides the right direction. The disabled find it difficult to take the initiative, tend to be withdrawn and unfocused. Collaboration between the disabled and non-disabled creates synergy and produces work that can be proud of. The pride of the disabled is seen when they are able to produce work. Self-confidence, enthusiasm for life and optimism will increase. They feel useful to others. SLB Paedagogia Maospati Magetan is an inclusive school for the disabled. All disabled students can receive basic education, skills and therapy for recovery. This SLB has become a partner of Darma Cendika Catholic University - Surabaya as a place for Community Service (PkM). Empowerment is directed at training students in wood craft skills with bending techniques through the lamination process. In 2021, they were trained to make simple tables and chairs with plywood material. In 2022, the making of backrest chairs continued. In 2024, training was increased for greater difficulties. Through the method of Practice and direct supervision, following the SOP set in the production process and directed to understand the work of the industry. The use of materials using bamboo. Through collaboration, disabled and non-disabled work is able to produce work. This training shows: 1) disabled people will try to follow and adjust the applied SOP; 2) The success of the work provides enthusiasm, hope and confidence.

Abstract

AbstrakKeberadaan anak terlantar atau putus sekolah mendapat perhatian pemerintah kota (Pemkot) Surabaya. Pemkot Surabaya dalam hal ini melalui Dinas Sosial menempatkan anak terlantar atau putus sekolah pada suatu asrama dibawah pembinaan Dinas Sosial. Dimana anak dapat melanjutkan sekolah sampai ke jenjang SMA atau SMK. Dimana mereka tidak hanya dapat melanjutkan sekolah tetapi juga mendapat pelatihan dan keterampilan untuk menyiapkan mereka pada saat memasuki kehidupan di masyarakat. Pada saat mereka telah menyelesaikan pendidikan di jenjang SMA/SMK maka akan dilepas untuk mengembangkan diri. Sehubungan dengan hal tersebut maka mereka dibekali dengan keterampilan yang akan menjadi modal mereka pada saat hidup di masyarakat. Salah satu bentuk keterampilan yang diberikan adalah keterampilan meramu minuman serta memberikan pelatihan tentang manajemen.Kata Kunci: Kewirausahaan, Pemberdayaan AbstractThe existence of neglected or dropout children has received the attention of the Surabaya city government. In this case, the Surabaya City Government, through its Social Service, places neglected or dropout children in a dormitory under the supervision of the Social Service. In this place children can continue their education up to high school or vocational school level, and where they can not only continue their education but also receive training and skills to prepare them when joining the society and work life. When they have completed their education at the high school/vocational school level, they will be discharged to improve themselves. In connection with this, the children are equipped with skills that will become their capital when living in society. One form of the skills provided is the skill of mixing drinks and providing training on management.Key words: Entrepreneurship, Empowerment

Abstract

Keberadaan bisnis ritel modern untuk memfasilitasi adanya perubahan pola berbelanja konsumen yang menginginkan tempat berbelanja yang rapi, bersih, dan nyaman, dimana tidak ditemui pada pasar tradisional yang biasanya becek dan tidak tertata rapi (Soliha, 2018). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kualitas pelayanan dan harga terhadap kepuasan, image, dan loyalitas pada bisnis ritel di Surabaya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksplanatory. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner, dengan menggunakan pengukuran skala Likert. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah konsumen yang pernah berbelanja di supermarke yaitu Hokky, Bonnet, Superindo, dan Hypermart Surabaya. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode non probability sampling dan jumlah sampel sebanyak 350 responden. Hasil penelitian menyatakan kualitas pelayanan dan harga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan dan image. Kualitas pelayanan, kepuasan dan image berpengaruh signifikan terhadap loyalitas, sedangkan harga tidak berpengaruh terhadap loyalitas.

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the satisfaction of BCA customers in Surabaya, through Word of Mouth (WOM), Brand Image, and Trust. Design/methodology/approach: The research method used is quantitative research, with 200 respondents, through the distribution of questionnaires to BCA Bank customers in Surabaya. The sampling technique used purposive sampling followed by snowball sampling technique. This study uses a 5 scale likert scale. Findings: The results obtained state that word of mouth (WOM) and brand image have a significant effect on trust, as well as word of mouth (WOM), brand image and trust have a significant effect on BCA Bank customer satisfaction in Surabaya. Trust (T) is a partial mediation variable between BI and satisfaction and between WOM and satisfaction. Research limitations/implications: This research has limitations, namely the distribution of data only in the city of Surabaya. Practical implications: Data processing using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) WarpPLS. Originality/value: This paper is original Paper type: Research paper
