Abstract

This research is motivated by the behavior of the students of Madrasah Aliyah, the condition is because the ethics of the children are not in accordance with what is taught in Islamic education at school and the level of SQ is low. Students of Madrasah Aliyah Al-Muawanah Minggir Sidoarjo are aged 15 to 17 years who are included in the category of teenagers. At this time children are now vulnerable to being influenced by the environment, technological and cultural developments that can trigger teenagers to behave deviantly.The effect is that teenagers when studying at school lack discipline, one of which is truancy. being late for school, fighting, untidy clothes, vandalism, garbage problems. To prevent student deviation, it is necessary to have activities to improve ESQ with istighosah.This study aims to find out and examine the dzikir activities on the spiritual intelligence of the students of Madrasah Aliyah Al-Muawanah Minggir Sidoarjo.This research includes comparative research, namely research that compares the existence of one or more variables in two or more variables or different samples or time, the type of data in this study is quantitative, and the measurement scale uses a Likert scale, the paradigm in this study is simple where this study consists of two dependent variable and two independent variables so to compare between the Independent Test Test technique used.The research subjects were 22% of the total 120 students of Madrasah Aliyah Al- Muawanah Minggir Sidoarjo. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, observations, interviews and documentation. While the data analysis technique used is the Independent Test Test in consultation with the r table at a significant level of 5% and 1% to provide an interpretation that the alternative hypothesis is accepted or rejected. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant effectiveness of istighosah activities on the spiritual intelligence of students of Madrasah Aliyah Al- Muawanah Minggir Sidoarjo.

Abstract

The background of this research stems from the interest of researcher in the Covid-19 pandemic which has an impact on all sectors. One of them is the field of education which has an impact on the changes in learning method from face-to-face to online learning, thus educational services must adapt to those changes and students are required to study from home.The principal is a leader who has duties and responsibilities at school and plays important roles to improve teacher performance. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach to describe and analyze the roles of the principal in improving teacher performance in online learning at SDN Sidoarjo. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews.Based on the results of the study, it was found that several indicators have been implemented by the principal, as follows: a) The school provides internet facility and the principal has instructed the teachers to apply online learning; b) The teacher showed good performance at SD Negeri Sidoarjo by carrying out online learning optimally; c) The principal has given motivation to the teachers through intensive coaching; d) The inhibiting factor for online learning is poor internet signal. Another factor is that both parents of the students are workers so that the assignments given by the teacher to students cannot be completed on time.The conclusion of this study is that although there are obstacles in online learning, the principal as a top leader provides online learning facilities and organizes training for teachers so that they can carry out online learning.

Abstract

The recruitment process is a selection process from a group of applicants or new teachers who meet the criteria to occupy available positions based on existing needs in the school institution. The recruitment process needs to be carried out because there are teachers who are entering retirement, have died, or have left the institution due to violating disciplinary regulations or other factors. To fill these vacancies, new teachers are needed through a recruitment process aimed at improving the quality of education in schools.Quality schools require competent and qualified teachers from primary, secondary, and tertiary education levels. Recruiting competent and accomplished teachers is necessary to meet these quality standards. To recruit teachers, a recruitment team is needed whose task is to find and get the new teachers the school wants. Recruitment is based on the procurement of teachers to meet school needs.
