Abstract

Pendahuluan Kecerdasan interpersonal anak masih menjadi masalah pada tumbuh kembang anak. Anak yang bermain gadget memicu anak untuk memiliki sifat individualis dan asosial. Kecerdasan interpersonal anak dapat dikembangkan dan ditingkatkan dengan memberikan permainan kelompok salah satunya yaitu bermain Family Animals. Tujuan penelitian mengetahui perbedaan kecerdasan interpersonal sebelum dan sesudah pemberian stimulasi bermain Family Animals pada anak prasekolah di TK Miftahus Sa?adah Desa Macajah Kecamatan Tanjungbumi Kabupaten Bangkalan. Metode: Penelitian menggunakan desain pre-exsperimental dengan one group pre test-post test design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh anak kelompok B usia 5-6 tahun di TK Miftahus Sa?adah Desa Macajah Kecamatan Tanjungbumi Kabupaten Bangkalan. Jumlah sampel 25 anak dengan menggunakan tekhnik simple random sampling. Variabel independen penelitian adalah bermain Family Animals, variabel dependennya adalah kecerdasan interpersonal. Analisa data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Hasil: Bahwa anak sebelum pemberian stimulasi bermain Family Animals kecerdasan interpersonal anak kurang sebanyak 12 anak (48%), sedangkan sesudah pemberian stimulasi bermain Family Animals kecerdasan interpersonal anak kurang yaitu 1 anak (4%). Menunjukkan dengan nilai p=0,000 (>0,05. Pembahasan : Memberikan sebuah permainan menjadi salah satu bentuk kegiatan positif anak dalam mengembangkan dan meningkatkan kecerdasan interpersonal anak Kesimpulan: Kecerdasan interpersonal anak sangat penting diasah sejak dini, sehingga hubungan sosial dan interaksi sosial anak dapat terjalin baik dengan lingkungan sosialnya. Kata Kunci : Kecerdasan Interpersonal, Family Animals, Anak, Pra Sekolah.

Abstract

Covid-19 pandemic makes students studying from home, most of all activity had been doing at home, it makes students having more time to access the social media to update information and to communicate with others. The aim of this research was to analyze the effect of social media to depression, anxiety and stress and self esteem among students. The population is nursing students and the research consist of 118 students, data taken through online system and using Depression Anxiety Stress Scale, Rosenberg Self Esteem and social media using scale. Data was analyzed by pearson correlation test, and the result showed that social media has effect to depression, anxiety and stress occurrence (p-value <0.05) and has no effect to self esteem (>0.05). Using social media have to having screen time to prevent psychosocial problems and social media addiction.

Abstract

Introduction: Children with intelletual disability experience delays infine motor skills compared to normal children, if the child's fine motor skills are not trained and developed, it will affect to the child's growth and development. One of occupational therapies to improve their finemotor skills is through embroidery. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of embroidery to the fine motor development of children with moderate mental retardation at the special school, Bangkalan Indonesia.Methods: The design was pre experimental research with one pre test-post test design group, population of all children with moderate mental retardationas many as 13 children. The research instrument use dwasobservation sheet.Results: Data analysisby Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test.The embroidery therapy using cross stitch technique. It was held every Monday and Thursday for eight week, took an hour each sessionConclusion: The results of the study showed that most children after had embroidery had enough finemotor skills (84.6%) and the statistical test value was obtained p<α (0.002<0.05). The students improved their fine motor ability such as how they coloring, scissoring, grasping, and holding up a paper. The conclusion of this study is that there was an effect of embroidery therapy on fine motor skills in children with intellectual disability.

Abstract

Indonesian traditional games are now increasingly being abandoned. Children prefer to play online games. The purpose of this community service activity is to develop children's interpersonal intelligence by playing traditional games and introducing traditional games to children. This activity was attended by 12 children aged between 7-12 years in Ar Rasyid Alquran learning center. The activity was carried out for 4 meetings, each meeting played a different game; Bantengan, Gobaksodor, Dakon and Engkle. Children's interpersonal intelligence was measured through a questionnaire given before and after the activity. The measurement results before the activity were obtained 6 children who had less interpersonal intelligence and after the activity there were 2 children who had less interpersonal intelligence. This activity found that playing traditional games can develop children's intelligence. Parents and school teachers are expected to be able to introduce and apply traditional games in the home and school because of their benefits both for the development of interpersonal intelligence and as an effort to preserve traditional Indonesian games.

Abstract

Covid-19 pandemics occurs all over the world forcing children to study and play at home. Staying at home for a long time is a risks to the occurance of stress due to limited physical activity, children are more often watching TV or playing gadgets. To reduce stress and boredom and to improve children's body movements, it is necessary to do walk and stop playing activity and expressive writing which can decrease stress and increase not only concentration but also reflexes of a child's body. This activity was attended by 16 children aged 6-12 years old at Al Rasyid Alquran Learning Center, Bangkalan. The activities was held for two days. In day one, the children wrote expressively in a book about knowing children feeling. In day two, they played walk and stop. Their stress level measured by using perceived stress scale for children. In pre test, 14 children was in mild stress level while in post test, 8 children was in mild stress level. The result of this activities indicates that children's stress is decreased. Children and parents are expected to talk to each other more and to do physical activites together so that the children can develop and grow healthy.

Abstract

There are problem related to students health behavior in Islamic boarding school,  such as they do not washing their hand before they have their meals, hanging wet clothes in their room,  and they do not really care to the toilet hygiene.  The aims of  this research was to knowing the effect of peer group support to perceived benefit of action and perceived self efficacy by applying students lifestyle management using health promotion model approach. The design was quasy experimental, pre post test control group the population were students who stayed in Islamic boarding school in An Najiyah, As Syafiiyah and Al Jihad Surabaya, and the total sample was 150 student, 75 in control group, 75 in intervention group, the sample taken by simple random sampling.  In intervention group they’ve got health education and peer group support while the control only got health education by giving a student lifestyle management module. The independent variable was peer group support and dependent variable were perceived benefit of action and perceived self efficacy. The data taken by questionnaire and was analyzed by Wilcoxon signed test and Mann Whitney test. The result showed that after the treatment, students in intervention group have positive perceive benefit of action was 92%   and 100 % have high perceived self efficacy, meanwhile in control group there were 72% students who have negative perceived benefit of action and 60% have low perceived self efficacy. It means that peer group support could change the students perception and increasing self efficacy to set a going lifestyle management based on health promotion model approach.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Anak yang kekurangan asupan gizi akan berdampak pada keterlambatan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan otak, tulang, dan gangguan emosi. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan pada ibu tentang stunting dan manfaat pemberian daun kelor pada anak. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 17 ibu yang memiliki anak balita di RW 16 Pepe Sidoarjo. Kegiatan dilakukan dalam dua tahap, tahap pertama memberikan pengetahuan tentang stunting dan asupan gizi untuk anak, tahap kedua melakukan demonstrasi cara membuat puding daun kelor. Tingkat pengetahuan ibu tentang stunting dan gizi anak diukur dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Dari hasil pengukuran sebelum diberikan edukasi didapatkan 10 responden yang pengetahuan kurang dan setelah kegiatan terdapat 2 responden yang pengetahuannya cukup. Orang tua penting untuk mengetahui jenis asupan gizi yang baik untuk anak, makanan yang perlu diberikan tidak harus mahal karena banyak makanan di sekitar kita yang terbukti secara ilmiah mempunyai kandungan nutrisi yangbaik untuk membantu pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak yang optimal.Kata Kunci: Anak, Kelor, StuntingABSTRACTChildren who lack nutritional intake will have an impact on delays in growth and development of the brain, bones, and emotional disorders. The purpose of this activity is to provide knowledge to mothers about stunting and the benefits of giving Moringa leaves to children. This activity was attended by 17 mothers with toddlers in RW 16 Pepe Sidoarjo. The activity was carried out in two stages, the first stage was to provide knowledge about stunting and nutritional intake for children, the second stage was to demonstrate how to make Moringa leaf pudding. Mother's level of knowledge about stunting and child nutrition was measured using a questionnaire. From the measurement results before being given education, it was found that 10 respondents had less knowledge and after the activity there were 2 respondents who had sufficient knowledge. It is important for parents to know the type of good nutritional intake for children, the food that needs to be given does not have to be expensive because there are many foods around us that are scientifically proven to have good nutritional content to help optimal growth and development of children.Keywords: Children, Kelor, Stunting

Abstract

Hypertension is one of the more common comorbidities among patients infected with the Sars-CoV-2 virus, which causes COVID-19, but many hypertensive patients do not comply with taking medication. This study analyzed the relationship of self-motivation and health locus of control with self-management (medication adherence) among hypertensive patients during the COVID-19 pandemic at Private Hospital Surabaya, Indonesia. The research adopted a correlative analytic design with a cross-sectional approach, and the study’s population comprised 74 hypertensive patients recruited by simple random sampling who were treated at Private Hospital Surabaya, Indonesia The instruments used included the Treatment Self-Regulation Questionnaire to measure self-motivation, the Multidimensional Health Locus of Control Scale to measure locus of control, and the Morisky Medication Adherence Scale–8 to measure self-management (medication adherence). Spearman’s rank correlation coefficient was employed for data analysis to measure the relationships between self-motivation, locus of control, and with self-management (adherence to taking medication). The results reveal a relationship between self-motivation and adherence to medication at a level of p = 0.000 and a relationship between health locus of control and adherence to taking medication at a level of p = 0.000 among hypertensive patients during the COVID-19 pandemic at Private Hospital Surabaya, Indonesia. The findings suggest the value of efforts to provide motivation to patients and support their being more responsible in controlling their health conditions by adherence to medication.   Abstrak Pengaruh Motivasi Diri dan Locus of Control pada Kepatuhan Minum Obat Pasien dengan Hipertensi. Hipertensi merupakan salah satu penyakit dengan komorbiditas tertinggi pada pasien yang terinfeksi virus Sars-CoV-2 penyebab COVID-19, diperparah dengan masih banyaknya pasien hipertensi yang tidak patuh minum obat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan motivasi diri dan health locus of control dengan self-management (kepatuhan minum obat) pada pasien hipertensi pada era pandemi COVID-19 di rumah sakit swasta Surabaya. Desain penelitian ini adalah analitik korelatif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah pasien hipertensi yang dirawat di rumah sakit swasta Surabaya Indonesia dengan simple random sampling sebanyak 74 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah the Treatment Self-Regulation Questionnaire untuk mengukur motivasi diri, Multidimensional Health Locus of Control Scale untuk mengukur locus of control, dan Morisky, Medication Adherence Scale untuk mengukur selfmanagement (kepatuhan pengobatan). Analisis data yang digunakan untuk mengukur self-motivation, locus of control dengan self-management (kepatuhan minum obat) adalah tes Rank Spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara motivasi diri dengan kepatuhan minum obat pada pasien hipertensi di era pandemi COVID-19 di rumah sakit swasta Surabaya dengan taraf (p = 0,000), dan ada hubungan antara lokus kesehatan dengan pengendalian dan kepatuhan minum obat bagi pasien hipertensi di era pandemi COVID-19 di rumah sakit swasta Surabaya (p = 0,000). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa upaya dengan memberikan motivasi dan dukungan untuk lebih bertanggung jawab dalam mengontrol kondisi kesehatannya (patuh minum obat). Abstract

Pembentukan sikap dan kebiasaaan hidup bersih dan sehat dimulai sejak dini. Pada anak usia sekolah rentan terjadi penyakit yang disebabkan oleh tangan yang terjangkit bakteri, virus atau cacing parasit sehingga tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah memberi pemahaman tentang pentingnya menerapkan cuci tangan yang benar dalam aktivitas kehidupan sehari-hari. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 20 anak usia sekolah yang aktif belajar Alquran di TPQ An-Nur Banyu Urip Surabaya. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan melakukan pretest pada anak memberikan edukasi dan demonstrasi tentang cuci tangan dilanjutkan dengan praktik cuci tangan pada anak-anak secara bergantian dan posttest. Dari hasil pengukuran 20 anak yang awalnya tidak bisa melakukan cuci tangan setelah kegiatan 20 anak bisa mempraktikkan 6 langkah cara cuci tangan yang benar. Penanaman kebiasaan dan pemberian pemahaman tentang pentingnya cuci tangan akan memunculkan awareness pada anak sehingga akan mampu menerapkan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat.

Abstract

Kesehatan mental merupakan aspek penting dalam mewujudkan kesehatan secara menyeluruh. Data dari berbagai survei menunjukkan adanya peningkatan jumlah masyarakat yang mengalami gangguan mental, diantaranya kecemasan. Tingginya kecemasan masyarakat diperlukan suatu manajemen untuk menurunkan tingkat kecemasan melalui tindakan Emotional Freedom Technique. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan dan mendemostrasikan Emotional Freedom Technique dalam menurunkan kecemasan. Metode kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini mencakup edukasi mengenai tingkat kecemasan, manajemen kecemasan dan demontrasi tindakan Emotional Freedom Technique. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pemberian angket state trait anxiety inventori quetionare pre-test sebelum dan setelah dilaksanakan tindakan. Hasil kegiatan ini didapatkan tingkat kecemasan partisipan sebelum diberikan Emotional Freedom Technique sebagian besar berada pada kategori cemas sedang sebesar 16 partisipan (57%) dan setelah diberikan Emotional Freedom Technique sebagian besar pada kategori normal sebesar 15 partisipan (54%). Evaluasi dari pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini menunjukkan pentingnya pemahaman kepada masyarakat mengenai kecemasan dan tindakan Emotional Freedom Technique dalam menurunkan kecemasan.
