Abstract

Abstract: The Use of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) in Improving Learning Outcome of Mathematics about Multiplication and Division of Fraction for Fifth Grade Students of SDN I Tamanwinangun in The Academic Year of 2016/2017. The objectives of this research are to improve learning outcome of mathematics about multiplication and division of fraction through the use of PBL model. Subjects of the research were 26 students from fifth grade. Sources of data are teacher and students. This research is conducted within two cycles and four meetings. Each cycle consisted of four stages namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. Techniques of collecting data were observation, interview, and test. The results of this research show that the use of  PBL model can improve learning outcome of mathematics about multiplication and division for fifth-grade students.Keywords: Problem Based Learning, multiplication, Division, Mathematics

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan tentang bagaimana implementasi kurikulum 2013 di Sekolah Dasar Negeri gugus V Cakranegara. Implementasi kurikulum 2013 merupakan langkah konkret pemerintah dalam melakukan perbaikan dan penyempurnaan dalam sistem pendidikan di seluruh Indonesia. Pendidikan yang baik tentunya memiliki pengaturan sistem dan tatakelola yang baik pula. Hal tersebut selaras pula dengan munculnya kurikulum baru ini yang dihajatkan mampu memberikan kontribusi positif bagi dunia pendidikan bangsa ini. Kendatipun demikian baiknya kurikulum 2013 yang dicanangkan pemerintah sangat mustahil akan menuai keberhasilan tanpa adanya intervensi yang signifikan dari guru di sekolah.Dalam kurikulum 2013 membutuhkan guru yang kreatif, cerdas, terampil, berakhlak yang baik, bertanggungjawab dan bersikap demokratis. Kesiapan kompetensi yang diperlukan oleh guru harus mampu menerapkan kompetensi paedagogik, kompetensi spiritual dan kompetensi sosial. Kompetensi tersebut diharapkan mampu diterapkan oleh guru agar anak didik dapat mengambil tauladan yang baik.

Abstract

Extracurricular management has an important role in supporting the development of students' character, skills, and achievements outside of formal learning. This study aims to identify effective strategies in extracurricular management through careful planning, structured implementation, and continuous supervision and evaluation. The proposed strategy includes the provision of adequate facilities and infrastructure, efficient management of funds, and flexible scheduling so as not to interfere with academic activities. Solutions to overcome challenges in the implementation of extracurricular activities include collaboration with external parties and increasing the competence of coaches. The results of the study show that effective management is able to improve student discipline, cooperation, and independence, as well as strengthen social and emotional skills. Thus, extracurricular activities make a significant contribution in preparing students to face future challenges.

Abstract

Human resource (HR) performance management plays a strategic role in improving employee retention through job satisfaction. This study aims to analyze effective performance management strategies in creating a work environment that supports employee satisfaction, thus reducing turnover rates. The method used in this research is a quantitative approach with a survey conducted on employees from various industries. The findings of the study indicate that factors such as a fair performance evaluation system, performance-based rewards, training and development, and good organizational communication have a positive impact on job satisfaction. High job satisfaction directly affects employee loyalty and reduces the intention to change jobs. Therefore, organizations need to implement holistic performance management strategies that focus on employee well-being to improve workforce retention. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of managerial roles in creating effective and sustainable performance policies to maintain workforce stability in the long term.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi makna inovasi dari perspektif pelaku usaha mikro di wilayah pinggiran kota. Inovasi sering kali diartikan secara teknis atau berbasis teknologi, namun bagi pelaku usaha mikro, pemaknaan tersebut dapat berbeda dan lebih kontekstual dengan kondisi lokal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus pada beberapa pelaku UMKM di daerah pinggiran kota X. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi langsung, kemudian dianalisis secara tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa inovasi dimaknai tidak hanya sebagai penciptaan produk baru, tetapi juga sebagai kemampuan beradaptasi, kreativitas dalam pemasaran, serta efisiensi dalam operasional usaha. Pelaku usaha cenderung melihat inovasi sebagai upaya bertahan dan berkembang di tengah keterbatasan modal dan akses teknologi. Penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya pendekatan lokal dalam memahami dinamika inovasi di sektor mikro, serta perlunya dukungan yang sesuai konteks bagi pemberdayaan UMKM di wilayah pinggiran kota.

Abstract

This research uses a qualitative type with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. Research informants included: Kyai Ponpes Salafiyah Sentot Alibasya, Pondok Caretaker, male students and female students. The data analysis technique uses the Narrative Analysis Technique which is carried out by collecting data describing events or occurrences and then compiling it into a story using a storyline. The results of this thesis research are: 1. The mental health of children at the Salafiyah Sentot Alibasya Bengkulu Islamic boarding school as a whole is not the same, but the system implemented by the Islamic boarding school to handle problems that arise is very good. Like the actions taken to deal with new students so that they are willing to open up and obey existing regulations, this cannot be separated from the role of the santri guardians who follow the development of the students through meetings held by the Islamic boarding school. 2. The strategy implemented by the Sentot Alibasya Bengkulu Salafiyah Islamic boarding school is appropriate to deal with the students with the problems they face. For students who violate the rules that have been set, the boarding school administrators are ready with the appropriate punishment to be given to the students. By holding dormitory cleaning activities, weekly activities every Friday night after the Maghrib prayer congregation, followed by reading Yasin and Tahlil and after that reading the Barzanji Prayers, the researchers saw that this was the right strategy for the students to be able to maintain their mental health. 3. Supporting factors for the mental health of students at the Salafiyah Sentot Alibasya Islamic boarding school can be seen from the readiness of the boarding school caregivers in handling any problems posed by the students, besides that, there is support from the guardians of the students for the progress of the Islamic boarding school. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factor in implementing the boarding school caregiver's strategy in maintaining the mental health of students lies in the various characters of the students, where not all students commit violations not only once but more than once and the factors that encourage them to commit these violations have various motives. Keywords: Strategy, Islamic Boarding School Caregivers, Mental Health

Abstract

Students' short story writing skills in the digital age face challenges in the form of low interest, limited imagination, and the dominance of interactive visual media. The development of metaverse technology presents new opportunities to deliver more innovative and contextual learning media. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of using comic learning media in improving students' short story writing skills in the metaverse era. The research was conducted at MAN 1 Lampung Tengah with 36 students from class XII IPA 6 as subjects. The method used was classroom action research (CAR) consisting of two cycles. The data analysis technique was carried out in several stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study showed an increase in students' short story writing skills, with students' assessments of content appropriateness and linguistic aspects. The average short story writing score increased after using comic media, with the largest increase being 40%. Comic media has been proven to stimulate students' imagination, facilitate understanding of the storyline, and increase active involvement in the learning process. Thus, the use of comic learning media in the metaverse era can be an innovative alternative to improve short story writing skills while fostering students' interest in literacy.
