Abstract

At an institute of PAUD one of management that is important to be attentive is management design environment either a design the interior/indoor and outdoor/exterior. It is considering this institution is the protege on children in the golden age is the most rapid development of the brain. The kind of research this is qualitative and the data collection by interviews, documentation, and observation. Data analysis with a groove the reduction of the data, display data, and verification/conclusion. The results of research shows the management of environmental design early childhood education in TK Ceria and RA Sahabat been through the process of good management the planning, organizing, actuating and controlling. The environment for early childhood education facilities indoor and outdoor in TK Ceria had been optimal. RA Sahabat in learning more from the environment as a source of learning.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a guide book of quality management of inclusive islamic education in Madrasah as effort to realize of implementation of inclusive education which effective and efficient. It becomes very important because management of inclusive education is whole process of joint activities in the field of education which includes planning, organization, management, and evaluation by using and utilizing facilities availables; personnel, material, and spiritual. Optimizing the quality culture in management of inclusive education can be done with the development of the spirits, values and beliefs of the school, development of school climate and school culture.

Abstract

Latar belakang dari penelitian ini adalah masih banyak diusianya anak usia dini masih mengalami masa pertumbuhan dan perkembangan yang pesat dengan bawaan sifat peserta didik yang masih egosentris dan dalam melakukan tindakan masih dalam tuntutan orang dewasa dan  pendidik. Dewasa ini anak pada usai 4-5 tahun dalam merumuskan gagsan berfikir secara logis dan berfikir memecahkan masalah masih dalam taraf  ingin tahu lebih mengenai kegiatan pembelajaran. Adanya strategi proses pembelajaran pendekatan saintifik menjadi angin segar dalam dunia pendidikan khususnya pendidikan anak usia dini. Meskipun dalam proses yang  masih banyak ditemukan beberapa teknik pengajaran pendidik yang masih menumpang dalam kurikulum sebelumnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetauhi  implementasi pendekatan saintifik dalam megembangkan kognitif anak dan bagaimana faktor penghambat dan pendukung adanya penerapan pendekatan saintifik dalam mengembangkan kognitif anak pada kelompok A di TK Nurul Ummah Kotagede Yogyakarta.Jenis penelitian ini  mengguakan penelitian lapangan (field research) dengan objek penelitan TK Nurul Ummah. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini mengumpulkan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentas. Sedangkan validitas data yang diperoleh melalui  Triangulasi  teknik dan sumber.  Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pendektan sanitifk dalam mengembangkan kognitif anak pada kelompok A di TK nurul Ummah sudah berjalan dengan baik, ditunjukkan dengan proses pembelajaran yang sudah sesuai dengan perencanaan pembelajaran, pesera didik yang aktif bertanya, pengaadaaan mediaa yang kreatif dan hasil karya yang terselesaikan dengan baik oleh peserta didik. Faktor pengambat dan pendukung yaitu faktor pendukung; kepala sekolah yang antusias baikanya dalam mengembangkan kualitas dan kuantitas  sekolahan , Pendidik yang berkompeten dalam menyampaikan proses pembelajaran pendektan saintifik,  Peserta didik yang aktif bertanya, Sarana dan prasarana yang mendukung. Faktor penghambat; Bahan media yang sulit deedapatkan, waktu pembelajaran yang kurang efektif.

Abstract

Parenting model played an influential role in cultivating discipline character for children. How the parent brought up their children at home would influence children’s character, including discipline. This conceptual paper explores the types of parenting that influence children’s character. There are four types of parenting, they are democratic, authoritarian, permissive, and negligance. From those types of parenting, the democratic has been proven to be more successfully in cultivating permanent discipline in child. The analysis showed that the democratic type of parenting has brought about children with the character of independency, good self control, have good relationship with their friends, able to deal with stress, have good interest to new things, discipline in conducting the rule agreed upon with their parent, and able to cooperate with others.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the professionalism of teachers in improving children's speech delay in speech delay. This research was conducted at KB Ceria Timoho Yogyakarta. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The results showed that the professionalism of teachers in dealing with child speech delay at KB Ceria Timoho Yogyakarta through training in early detection of child growth and development, improvement of facilities and infrastructure that support the development of children's language, care and additional facilities needed to support children's language development such as laptop games music, song beetles, tools for watching movies, story books, puppets for stories, presenting people from the education office for information about the curriculum and accreditation and enhancing learning programs by always innovating. The teacher's steps in improving children's speech ability "speech delay" at KB Ceria Timoho Yogyakarta is most important by knowing the cause of children talking too late because by knowing the cause the teacher is easy to handle it, not following the child's speech patterns is wrong, involving children talking at any circumstances, the teacher always makes eye contact when talking with children, the use of APE that supports children's vocabulary, holding parenting by presenting a pediatrician or child psychologist or can also consult with the teacher at any time especially when distributing child report cards

Abstract

Purpose – This study aimed to explore the role of attachment in the educational context of early childhood students (santri) residing and learning in Pesantren Mambaul Hisan, Indonesia. The research sought to investigate the attachment dynamics between 5- and 6-year-old santri and their caregivers, including its impact on cognitive and socio-emotional development. Design/methods/approach – This research adopted a qualitative case study approach, employing in-depth interviews, participant observation, and careful document analysis. The sample was selected purposively and consisted of 24 early childhood santri, 2 Islamic boarding school leaders, and 5 caregivers. Data were analyzed to understand the role of secure attachment in attaining Islamic boarding school educational goals. Findings – The study revealed that secure attachment among early childhood santri fostered comfortable communication, enhanced cognitive development, and promoted socio-emotional growth. The secure attachment of these young students played a positive role in achieving the educational objectives of the pesantren. This research contributed to the existing knowledge on the psychology of early childhood santri, socio-emotional development, and attachment in an Islamic boarding school context, enriching our understanding of the role of passion in Islamic boarding school education. Research implications/limitations – The findings of this study have important implications for improving the quality of early childhood education in Islamic boarding school settings. It underscores the significance of fostering secure attachment and the potential benefits of implementing attachment-based strategies in the education of young santri.  Practical implications – Understanding the role of attachment in Islamic boarding school education for young children can inform the development of more effective educational strategies and support systems. Originality/value – This study adds a novel perspective by examining the role of attachment in the context of Islamic boarding school education for early childhood students. Abstract

Hipertensi merupakan salah satu penyakit tidak menular (PTM) yang sering terjadi dan menjadi penyebab utama kematian prematur di seluruh dunia dengan prevalensi yang terus meningkat. Dengan Sosialisasi Program Yakin Atasi Hipertensi Sebagai Upaya Pencegahan Hipertensi di desa Kluncing yang berkolaborasi dengan puskesmas Licin di pilih untuk mengatasi masalah ini. Tujuan dari program ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan Masyarakat desa kluncing. Metode sosialisasi melibatkan media powerpoint (PPT). Hasil analisis yang di peroleh menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan kepada Masyarakat sebesar 22,46% setelah mengikuti program sosialisasi yakin ini Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa program sosialisasi yakin hipertensi ini berdampak positif bagi masyarakat desa kluncing untuk pencegahan hipertensi. Diharapkan dari diadakannya program sosialisasi yakin ini masyarakat desa Kluncing dapat melakukan pencegahan terkait hipertensi dan sering melakukan pengecekan tekanan darah agar kesehatannya bisa terjaga.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship education in early childhood has been applied to several kindergartens in Indonesia. However, some children still think that these activities are limited to playing games and have not lived up to the meaning of entrepreneurial values. This study aims to describe spiritual-based entrepreneurship education in early childhood. This research method is a qualitative case study. The research subjects were early childhood children at the Khalifah Kindergarten in Yogyakarta, aged 4-6 years. Collecting data in this study by in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model with interactive analysis through data reduction, presentation, and conclusions. The results showed that spiritual-based entrepreneurship education in early childhood is an activity that can instill entrepreneurial values, increase the development of children’s religious and moral values, and form pious, honest, and challenging Muslim entrepreneurs. Spiritual activities that support entrepreneurship education at Khalifah Kindergarten Yogyakarta are alms after-market day activities, dhuha prayer, sunnah fasting, talking about the example of the prophet Muhammad as an honest entrepreneur. Entrepreneurship activities are in the form of playing activities in the classroom and outside the classroom, internal and external market days, outing classes to entrepreneurial places, and mosques. This research contributes to the understanding of entrepreneurship education in early childhood that combines entrepreneurship education with Tauhid education to instill entrepreneurial values and foster the spiritual development of early childhood to form spiritual entrepreneurs who are pious individuals and pious socially.

Abstract

This research analyses the concept of leadership within transnational Islam tradition in Indonesia and their response towards democracy, particularly within three largest transnational organizations of Jama’ah Tabligh, Jama’ah Tarbiyah, and Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia (HTI). Based on an extensive literature study and in depth interviews, this research found that: first, leadership concept in the tradition of (1) Jamaah Tabligh is called “Amir” which is appointed through a dialogue (musyawarah). The Amir is responsible to preach ‘the da’wah ‘ala> Minhaj an-Nubuwwah (proselytizing Islam using Prophetic methods) through ‘khuru>j fi> sabi>lilla>h; (2) Jama’ah Tarbiyah is called “Majlis Syuro” as the highest body of the Islamic party which functions as “ahlul halli wal ‘aqdi” (the consultative assembly) in its political movement represented by Partai Keadilan Sejahtera (Prosperous Justice Party/ PKS); and (3) HTI is called “Khalifah” that calls for the system of ‘Khila>fah ‘ala> Minha>ji an-Nubuwwah’. Second, those three organizations have divergent responses regarding the practice of democracy in Indonesia. The responses are (1) Jamaah Tabligh chooses to be apolitical and let its followers whether to participate in the democracy or not; (2) Jamaah Tarbiyah supports the democracy system by establishing Prosperous Justice Party (PKS), and (3) HTI opposes democracy because the concept is born from the capitalist ideology, a kufr system as it created by human and is not taken from Shari’ah concept.

Abstract

Desentralisasi pendidikan yang diberlakukan mulai 1 Januari 2001 membawa perubahan dalam pengelolaan sekolah, yakni dengan Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah yang melibatkan pada peran sekolah dan komite sekolah dalam mengambil setiap kebijakan dan keputusan sekolah. Salah satu aspek yang penting dalam MBSIM adalah model kepemimpinan kepala sekolah yang diterapkan. Salah satu model kepemimpinan yang relevan dengan MBSIM adalah kepemimpinan transformatif yang mempunyai karakteristik bekerja untuk merubah situasi. Prinsip-prinsip kepemimpinan transformatifadalah simplikasi, motivasi, fasilitasi, inovasi, mobilitas, siap siaga, dan tekad. Kepemimpinan transformatifjika diterapkan dalam lembaga pendidikan yakni, sekolah dan madrasah akan membawa konstribusi dan pengaruh yang signifikan dalam kemajuan lembaga pendidikan tersebut.
