Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan tenses dalam teks bacaan dan dampaknya terhadap pemahaman pembaca. Dengan fokus pada teks naratif, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana berbagai tenses seperti sekarang, lampau, dan masa depan berperan dalam menyampaikan informasi dan menggambarkan peristiwa. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif, data dikumpulkan dari sejumlah teks bacaan yang dipilih secara acak, di mana analisis dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi pola penggunaan tenses dan dampaknya terhadap alur cerita dan karakterisasi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan tenses yang tepat tidak hanya meningkatkan kejelasan dan kohesi teks, tetapi juga memperkaya pengalaman membaca. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan baru tentang pentingnya memahami tenses dalam konteks membaca, serta implikasi untuk pengajaran bahasa dan peningkatan keterampilan membaca siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui cara atau model yang diterapkan di sekolah untuk meningkatkan karakter Islam siswa melalui program tahfidz qur’an. Adapun metode yang digunakan adalah metode dengan studi literature atau studi kepustakaan. Dimana sumber data diperoleh melalui jurnal-jurnal, buku atau artikel. Dalam rangka pembentukan karakter Islami siswa, lembaga pendidikan dianggap memiliki peran penting untuk mencapai hal tersebut Salah satu upaya pembentukan karakter Islami adalah dengan pendidikan tahfidz qur’an. Membentuk karakter Islami melalui pendidikan tahfidz qur’an dapat dilakukan dengan berbagai model yang diterapakan diantaranya: 1) model perintah (al-amr) 2) model larangan 3) model motivasi (targib) 4) model tarhib 5) model dialog dan debat 6)model pembiasaan.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology has transformed the landscape of social communication, with platforms like TikTok serving not only as entertainment spaces but also as venues for emotional expression and interaction. This study aims to explore how virtual interaction within the viral hashtag phenomenon #KaburAjaDulu fosters emotional attachment among TikTok users in Indonesia. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this research analyzes TikTok content utilizing the hashtag and reviews academic literature on digital communication dynamics, self-disclosure, and emotional bonding in social media. The findings reveal that the #KaburAjaDulu hashtag functions as a collective outlet for self-expression, where users channel life stressors through humorous, ironic, or melancholic content. Engagement through TikTok’s interactive features—such as duet, stitch, and live comments—enhances emotional connectivity between content creators and their audiences, resulting in the formation of empathy-based communities. This phenomenon reflects key aspects of Indonesian culture, including collectivism, humor as a coping mechanism, and the inclination to seek emotional support within digital spaces. The study concludes that TikTok is more than a mere entertainment platform; it serves as a significant emotional and social outlet, particularly for the younger generation. The #KaburAjaDulu trend illustrates how Indonesia’s digital society responds to social pressures in creative, emotional, and collaborative ways.

Abstract

Merjosari Village, Lowokwaru District, Malang City, some residents in RW 06 run a home industry producing lontong, contributing to economic growth and employment. However, this industry's growth impacts the environment, especially the accumulation of banana leaf waste from lontong wrappers. This waste is often dumped on the riverbank, resulting in a decline in environmental quality and pollution, while waste management officers cannot handle the increasing volume of waste. The remaining leaves are generally thrown away, potentially creating environmental problems if not appropriately managed, including the risk of flooding. Although often considered waste, banana leaves have the potential to be useful compost material. Proper processing of banana leaves can be an effective organic fertilizer, reduce waste volume, and utilize resources sustainably. However, the high cellulose in banana leaves can slow decomposition if not appropriately handled. Another obstacle is the lack of knowledge and access to efficient technology for processing banana leaves into compost. Environmental factors such as humidity and temperature also affect the quality of compost. Therefore, making banana leaf compost with rice husk biochar can be an effective solution that benefits the community and the environment. Training in making banana leaf compost with the addition of rice husk biochar effectively increases community capacity, reduces organic waste, and opens up new economic opportunities through environmentally friendly waste management.ABSTRAKDesa Mejosari di Kelurahan Merjosari, Kecamatan Lowokwaru, Kota Malang, sebagian warganya di wilayah RW 06 menjalankan industri rumah tangga yang memproduksi lontong, yang berkontribusi pada peningkatan ekonomi dan lapangan kerja. Namun, pertumbuhan industri tersebut berdampak pada lingkungan, khususnya penumpukan limbah daun pisang dari pembungkus lontong. Limbah ini sering dibuang di tepi sungai, yang mengakibatkan penurunan kualitas lingkungan dan pencemaran, termasuk risiko bencana seperti banjir. Meski sering dianggap limbah, daun pisang memiliki potensi sebagai bahan kompos yang berguna. Pengolahan yang tepat, daun pisang dapat menjadi pupuk organik yang efektif, mengurangi volume limbah, dan memanfaatkan sumber daya secara berkelanjutan. Namun, tinggi selulosa dalam daun pisang dapat memperlambat proses dekomposisi jika tidak ditangani dengan baik. Kendala lain adalah kurangnya pengetahuan dan akses terhadap teknologi yang efisien untuk pengolahan daun pisang menjadi kompos. Oleh karena itu, penerapan metode pembuatan kompos daun pisang dengan biochar sekam padi bisa menjadi solusi yang efektif, memberikan manfaat bagi masyarakat dan lingkungan. Pelatihan pembuatan kompos daun pisang dengan tambahan biochar sekam padi, efektif dalam menekan limbah organik, sekaligus membuka peluang ekonomi baru melalui pengelolaan sampah yang ramah lingkungan.

Abstract

Ekonomi Rumah Tangga merupakan kegiatan ekonomi dalam proses merencanakan, melaksanakan, memantau, mengevaluasi, mengawasi, mengendalikan pendapatan dan pengelolaan sumber-sumber ekonomi keluarga agar terpenuhi kebutuhan seluruh anggota keluarga. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan untuk membantu pendapatan masyarakat di Kampung Tanjung Batu yang sebagian besar berprofesi sebagai nelayan. Melalui pemanfaatan tanaman sereh menjadi tambahan sumber penerimaan untuk menyokong pengeluaran oleh anggota keluarga. Metode ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Masyarakat di berikan pengetahuan dalam pembuatan spray nyamuk tersebut hingga proses pemasaran dengan menggunakan bahan baku utama yaitu tanaman sereh. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah masyarakat kampung Tanjung Batu dapat memanfaatkan tanaman sereh menjadi spray nyamuk. Melalui pelatihan ini masyarakat dapat meningkatkan kualitas hidup untuk anggota keluarga dan secara tidak langsung dapat menjadi sumber penerimaan rumah tangga. Dengan pelatihan dan pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam produksi semprotan anti nyamuk dari sereh, diharapkan dapat tercipta peluang usaha baru yang berkelanjutan dan ramah lingkungan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat peran guru dalam pengembangan prestasi non-akademik peserta didik melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di SDN Rangkah VI Surabaya. Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya pembinaan minat dan bakat siswa di luar ranah akademik sebagai bagian integral dari pendidikan holistik. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif, data dikumpulkan dengan teknik observasi, kunjungan lapangan (studi visit), serta wawancara dengan koordinator kesiswaan dan koordinator umum sekolah. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa guru memiliki peran yang sangat sentral dalam mendampingi siswa mengembangkan potensi non-akademik mereka. Sebagai motivator, guru membangun semangat dan kepercayaan diri peserta didik agar berani mengeksplorasi bidang olahraga, seni, maupun organisasi sekolah. Sebagai fasilitator, guru berupaya menyediakan sarana yang memadai dan menjalin kerja sama dengan pelatih profesional. Sebagai pembimbing, guru memberikan arahan dalam aspek teknis maupun penguatan karakter, dan sebagai evaluator, guru secara berkala melakukan pemantauan serta memberikan umpan balik terhadap proses dan capaian kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. Kegiatan pengabdian ini menegaskan bahwa peran aktif guru sangat menentukan dalam menciptakan ekosistem sekolah yang mendukung pertumbuhan prestasi non-akademik siswa secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

                In the digital age, healthcare professionals are required to possess not only healthcare competencies but also financial and digital literacy to support better financial management and investment decision-making. Unhealthy financial behaviors, such as excessive spending and minimal allocation of funds for investment, are major obstacles. Additionally, low skills in utilizing digital platforms increase the risk of becoming a victim of fraudulent investments. This research aims to address this phenomenon by studying healthcare workers in Berau Regency, using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach. The research findings indicate that financial literacy does not directly influence the financial behavior of healthcare workers. Conversely, digital literacy and income have a positive and significant influence on financial behavior. Research has proven that favorable financial behavior not only enhances investment decision-making ability but also significantly mediates the influence of digital literacy and income on investment decisions. Financial literacy also has a positive direct impact on investment decisions, but this influence is not mediated by financial behavior, while digital literacy does not have a direct impact on investment decisions. Revenue plays an important role in supporting optimal and sustainable investment decisions. This finding provides a basis for the government and the Berau District Health Office to design financial and digital literacy education programs. Furthermore, this study's findings offer valuable insights to healthcare professionals about managing income and making investments that promote long-term well-being.

Abstract

Extensive listening has long been acknowledged as an essential skill in second language acquisition, yet its implementation in higher education often suffers from limited frameworks that fail to integrate technology, cultural relevance, and learner autonomy. While prior research has highlighted the potential of Web 2.0 technologies in fostering collaboration and authentic engagement, few studies have investigated how lecturers perceive the integration of structured listening frameworks into this digital landscape. This study addresses this gap by examining lecturers’ perceptions of developing Web 2.0-based extensive listening materials through the Interesting, Comprehensible, and Enjoyable (ICE) Framework. Using a descriptive qualitative design supported by quantitative insights, data were collected from 42 English lecturers across nine universities in five Indonesian provinces through online questionnaires and semi-structured interviews. The findings indicate that lecturers regarded the ICE framework as engaging, pedagogically relevant, and highly supportive of listening instruction. The “Interesting” dimension was affirmed through authentic and culturally embedded materials, notably Berau folklore; the “Comprehensible” component was reflected in accessible vocabulary and structured content; and the “Enjoyable” element enhanced learner autonomy, motivation, and reduced listening difficulties. These results suggest that the ICE Framework not only advances the design of Web 2.0 listening materials but also promotes a more student-centered and culturally responsive pedagogy. By positioning listening instruction at the intersection of technology, pedagogy, and cultural relevance, this study provides a valuable contribution for researchers seeking theoretical refinement and practitioners aiming for practical innovation in English language teaching.
