Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi Indragiri (STIE-I) Rengat. Perumusan masalah adalah apakah pengetahuan awal dan persepsi secara simultan dan parsial berpengaruh terhadap prestasi mahasiswa. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh pengetahuan awal dan persepsi secara simultan dan parsial terhadap prestasi mahasiswa. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan pengambilan sampel dengan metode Rumus Slovin, yakni sampel sebanyak 72 responden. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah aktif semester IV T.A 2018/2019. Alat analisis yang penulis gunakan aialah Analisis Regresi Linear Berganda dengan pendekatan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dengan bantuan Software SPSS Versi 24. Hasil penlitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) Pengetahuan awal secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi. (2) Persepsi secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi. (3) Pengetahuan awal dan persepsi secara bersama-sama (simultan) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi (4) Koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,814 artinya variabel prestasi dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel pengetahuan awal dan persepsi sebesar 81,4%, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 18,6% dijelaskan oleh variabel-variabel bebas lainnya yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

This research was conducted in Indragiri Hulu Regency. The data in this study are in the form of primary data obtained from questionnaires, observations and interviews. Secondary data obtained from non-formal education and training institutions are in the form of administrative documents. The population in this study were all education and training institutions (LPPNF) in Indragiri Hulu Regency. The sampling method utilizing total sampling Qualitative data processing uses descriptive statistics to systematically describe the facts and characteristics of objects appropriately. Correlation analysis uses SPSS 22.0 to determine whether there is a relationship (correlation) between variables and if there is a relationship, see the size of the relationship between variables. This study found the unique management of LPPNF management, which is management featuring one-man show. From the results of the analysis conducted, of course, inaccurate management will certainly have less than the maximum impact in achieving the goals of an organization. This is evidenced by the low number of human resources participating in training at LPPNF in Indragiri Hulu Regency. In the management of LPPNF, the objectives that have been well established should be regulated by these principles so that the objectives of the institution can be realized. The manager should run his LPPNF by following the good and correct management functions so that he can answer the need for human resources from the Business and Industry World in Indragiri Hulu Regency.   Keywords: LPPNF Management, Human Resources

Abstract

Housewives have the potential to become entrepreneurs, but there are not many studies on entrepreneurial housewives. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that become obstacles for housewives to do entrepreneurship and what factors are the most dominant constraints for housewives to do entrepreneurship. The data from the questionnaire were analyzed using factor analysis, with the validity and reliability tests of the instrument as a preliminary analysis. The results showed that six factors formed become obstacles for housewives, especially in Air Jernih Village, to become entrepreneurs. Factor 1 is constraints on personal values, factor 2 is the community environment, factor 3 is the family environment, factor 4 is promotion, factor 5 is the level of knowledge, factor 6 is the network. The most dominant factor that becomes an obstacle for housewives to become entrepreneurs is the personal values ​​factor with an eigenvalue of 5.689. The factor or sub-variable member that has the greatest factor loading is not having high creativity to open or develop a business. Ibu rumah tangga memiliki potensi menjadi wirausaha, namun belum banyak kajian tentang ibu rumah tangga yang berwirausaha. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui faktor-faktor yang menjadi kendala ibu rumah tangga untuk berwirausaha dan faktor apa yang paling dominan menjadi kendala ibu rumah tangga untuk berwirausaha. Data hasil kuesioner dianalisis menggunakan analisis faktor, dengan uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas isntrumen sebagai analisis pendahuluan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan enam faktor yang terbentuk menjadi kendala ibu rumah tangga khususnya di Desa Air jernih untuk berwirausaha. Faktor 1 adalah kendala nilai-nilai personal, faktor 2 adalah lingkungan masyarakat, faktor 3 adalah lingkungan keluarga, faktor 4 adalah promosi, faktor 5 adalah tingkat pengetahuan, faktor 6 adalah jaringan. Faktor paling dominan yang menjadi kendala ibu-ibu rumah tangga untuk berwirausaha yaitu faktor nilai-nilai personal dengan eigenvalue sebesar 5,689. Anggota faktor atau sub-variabel yang memiliki loading faktor paling besar adalah tidak memiliki kreatifitas yang tinggi untuk membuka atau mengembangkan suatu usaha.

Abstract

The length of the online learning period in tertiary institutions that has lasted for approximately 10 months has made students uneasy, because the majority of students consider statistics courses to be difficult to understand, especially with the Covid-19 pandemic conditions. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that caused student learning difficulties in the Statistics course during the Covid-19 pandemic and to determine the dominant factors causing student learning difficulties in the Statistics course during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research subjects were STIE-Indragiri students taking Statistics courses. Instruments of the research method through questionnaires and interviews with research subjects. The results obtained were the factors that made learning difficulties for students in the statistics course during the Covid-19 pandemic, namely the factors themselves, lecturers' factors, environmental factors / parents as well as facilities and infrastructure factors. The most dominant factor affecting student learning difficulties in statistics courses during the Covid-19 pandemic was the infrastructure factor with a TCR value of 64.38%.

Abstract

The industrial revolution 4.0 is a digital-based era that demands the quality of human resources (HR) who have high skills. The Education and Training Center (ETC) is one of the institutions that plays role in increasing the quality level of human resources. This study aims to see the effect simultaneously and partially between the competence of instructors and infrastructure on the quality of ETC graduates in the face of the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. in Indragiri Hulu Regency. The population in this study consists of all ETCs in Indragiri Hulu, there are 15 ETCs and all ETCs were sampled. Multiple regression and correlation analysis using SPSS 22.0 was used to determine whether or not there is an influence and relationship between variables. The results of the study concluded (1) the competence of instructors and infrastructure simultaneously had a significant effect on the quality of graduates. (2) Instructor competence partially has a significant effect on the quality of graduates. (3) Facilities partially has a significant effect on the quality of graduates. The variable that has the greatest contribution to the quality of ETC graduates in Indragiri Hulu Regency is the competence of the instructor followed by infrastructure. In this case, of education it will be very difficult for ETC graduates to compete in the world of work. Because this is a factor caused from within the ETC itself.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of self management consisting of self motivation, self organizing and self control on students' digital literacy. This research is a quantitative study of multiple correlation regression type, the subject of this research is STIE Indragiri students, totaling 234 people. The research instrument developed in this study was a closed questionnaire. The data analysis technique used regression analysis multiple linear with the help of SPSS 24. The results showed that self-management had a effect on students' digital literacy. The details for each component of self-management show that: Self motivation ability has a significant effect on students' digital literacy. Self-organizingl ability has no significant effect on students' digital literacy. Self-control ability has a significant effect on students' digital literacy. Among the three independent variables that have the most influence on students' digital literacy is the ability to self-motivation. Self-motivation has an important role in encouraging humans to act, determining the direction of action and selecting actions to determine what actions are chosen to achieve goals, these various abilities are in accordance with the abilities that must be met to improve digital literacy skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the kahoot application as an evaluation tool for students in terms of student motivation and attention. This type of research is quantitative, with a one shot case study design. The population in this study were all 3rd semester students of the Riau University Biology Education Study Program who took the instructional media course, the sampling in this study was through purposive sampling, which is one class of the 3rd semester students who took the instructional media course. The research instrument consisted of a motivation and attention questionnaire which was used after the students had conducted lectures with an evaluation sistem using the kahoot application, observation sheets and a list of interview questions. The validity and reliability of the motivation and attention questionnaires have been tested, the reliability value of the motivation and attention questionnaire is 0.835. The results showed that the level of effectiveness of the kahoot application on student motivation was 82.6% with the very effective category and 80.6% for student attention with the very effective category. So it can be concluded that the kahoot application is very effective as an evaluation tool in terms of motivation and attention.Keywords: effectiveness, kahoot, evaluation tool ABSTRAK.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitasi aplikasi kahoot sebagai alat evaluasi pada mahasiswa ditinjau dari motivasi dan atensi mahasiswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif, dengan desain penelitian one shot case study. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa semester 3 Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi Universitas Riau yang mengikuti mata kuliah media pembelajaran, pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini melalui purposive sampling, yaitu salah satu kelas mahasiswa semester 3 yang mengikuti mata kuliah media pembelajaran. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari angket motivasi dan atensi yang digunakan setelah mahasiswa melakukan perkuliahan dengan sistem evaluasi menggunakan aplikasi kahoot, lembar observasi dan daftar pertanyaan wawancara. Angket motivasi dan atensi telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya, nilai reliabilitas pada angket motivasi dan atensi adalah 0,835. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat keefektifan aplikasi Kahoot terhadap motivasi mahasiswa yaitu sebesar 82,6% dengan kategori sangat efektif dan untuk atensi mahasiswa yaitu sebesar 80,6% dengan kategori sangat efektif. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi Kahoot sangat efektif sebagai alat evaluasi ditinjau dari motivasi dan atensi.Kata kunci: efektivitas, kahoot, alat evaluasi.

Abstract

Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi dan informasi di abad 21 membuat banyak perubahan dan tantangan di kalangan masyarakat tidak terkecuali mahasiswa yang merupakan salah satu agen perubahan. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis kemampuan literasi digital mahasiswa yang ditinjau dari segi lama studi, jenis kelamin dan status pekerjaan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menggunakan teknologi berada dalam kategori baik dengan capaian persentase sebesar 81%. kemampuan mahasiswa dalam berkomunikasi secara online, kemampuan berpikir kritis serta etika dalam menggunakan teknologi berada pada kategori cukup dengan capaian persentase berturut-turut sebesar 76,6%, 75,6% dan 70%. Dari hasil penelitian juga dapat diketahui bahwa perbandingan kemampuan literasi digital mahasiswa dengan lama studi 2 semester lebih besar yaitu senilai 77,8% dibandingkan dengan mahasiswa yang lama studinya 4 semester yaitu senilai 76,6%. Nilai kemampuan literasi digital pada laki-laki sebesar 78% lebih tinggi dibandingkan nilai literasi digital pada perempuan yaitu sebesar 76,8%. Perbandingan mahasiswa yang sudah bekerja memiliki nilai kemampuan literasi yang lebih rendah dengan persentase capaian 76,8% dibandingkan dengan mahasiswa yang belum bekerja dengan persentase capaian 77,4%..
