Abstract

Proses ujian penerimaan Perangkat Desa Karanggondang yang sedang berjalan yaitu berupa sistem manual. Artinya dari segi proses ujian, berupa hardfile atau menggunakan kertas untuk mengerjakan soal. Kelemahan dalam proses ini adalah membutuhkan kertas yang sangat banyak serta kurang efisien dalam hal melakukan koreksi jawaban para peserta sehingga memakan waktu yang lebih lama. Sehingga dibutuhkan suatu sistem untuk mengatasi kelemahan tersebut. Pada sistem yang dibuat, terdapat dua user yaitu admin dan peserta ujian. Metode Waterfall digunakan sebagai metode dalam pengembangan sistem pada penelitian ini. Sistem informasi dibangun memanfaatkan Framework Laravel dan MySQL database. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Sistem Ujian Online Penerimaan Perangkat Desa Karanggondang Berbasis Website. Dengan sistem yang dibuat, diharapkan mampu mengatasi kelemahan proses ujian yang berjalan saat ini yaitu menghemat kertas dan meningkatkan ke-efisienan proses ujian.

Abstract

The museum that is currently being built is used as a place to manage existing historical objects, because real historical objects are easy to know when in the museum. The current management of the museum still uses a manual system, where visitors come to the museum and then see the historical objects in the museum. Nowadays, with the rapid development of the times, the use of advances in information can be used whenever and wherever the user is. Location-based services in museums can be used to develop object recognition systems implemented in museums. In this research, a Location Base Service (LBS) system will be created that uses an android application that is connected to a server to make it easier to study historical objects. The android device will transmit the current position signal received by the Access Point. The Android application functions as a viewer of nearby historical object description objects. When the user wants to observe a nearby historical object, the user will display a video about the object to introduce nearby objects. To support the Location Base Service (LBS) system, several Access Points to track users via wireless connected to Android devices.

Abstract

Abstract. This community service aims to create an online information media about the web-based school environment at SMK 1 Glagah, located on Jl. Kuntulan No. 1 Banyuwangi, Banjarsari, Glagah District, Banyuwangi by utilizing virtual reality technology. This web-based system is in the form of a Virtual tour with several locations in SMKN 1 Glagah which is a combination of several 360 ° horizontal panoramic images. Implementation of community service is carried out by conducting field surveys, determining the location of points, taking panoramic images in each location, merging images as well as making a virtual tour, virtual tour trials on localhost & evaluation and continued with hosting & website publication. The web that can be accessed in https://jelajah.smkn1glagah.sch.id has 21 location points starting from the main page in front of the school to the location of the workshop department at SMKN 1 Glagah. The benefits of a virtual web tour are as a medium for introducing an online school environment to the public, especially for the prospective new students.Abstrak. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk membuat sebuah media informasi daring mengenai lingkungan sekolah berbasis web di SMKN 1 Glagah yang berlokasi di Jl. Kuntulan No. 1 Banyuwangi, Banjarsari, Kecamatan Glagah, Kabupaten Banyuwangi, Provinsi Jawa Timur dengan memanfaatkan teknologi virtual reality. Sistem berbasis web ini berupa Virtual tour dengan beberapa titik lokasi didalam SMKN 1 Glagah yang merupakan gabungan dari beberapa gambar panorama 360° horizontal. Pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan melakukan survei lapangan, penentuan titik lokasi, pengambilan gambar panorama disetiap lokasi, penggabungan gambar sekaligus pembuatan web virtual tour, percobaan virtual tour di localhost & evaluasi serta dilanjutkan dengan hosting & publikasi website. Web dengan domain jelajah.smkn1glagah.sch.id ini memiliki 21 titik lokasi mulai dari halaman utama yang berada di depan sekolah hingga lokasi bengkel jurusan di SMKN 1 Glagah. Manfaat Web virtual tour adalah sebagai media pengenalan lingkungan sekolah secara daring bagi masyarakat umum terutama calon peserta didik baru.

Abstract

Abstract. Alumni tracking or what is known as a tracer study is one of the most important activities at this time, especially in vocational-based education. With the link and match carried out in schools with industry, schools will be able to know the quality of their graduates and further information can be used to improve the learning curriculum.Currently, Ihya Ulumuddin Vocational School is conducting a tracer study still using the manual method with paper, when their alumni come to school and the results are not optimal. Completing a study tracker with this method is only able to track less than 15% of the number of graduates each year so that the picture of graduates of SMK Ihya Ulumuddin is very lacking. This data tracking study must also be submitted to the Director General of Vocational Schools at the end of each year and the school always has difficulties in providing this data. From this problem, it is said that the creation of a telegram robot application that is connected to the tracer study web application is the solution to the implementation of this tracer study. The creation of this system begins after building the system with the SMK and the application is complete, trials and implementations are carried out after the alumni graduate. Workshops and training on tracer studies were also carried out to support the implementation of this Telegram-based tracer study system. From the results of this community service, a total of 74% of the graduates were obtained in 2021. With the telegram robot that has been implemented, the tracer study implementation will assist in answering tracer study questions, making it easier to collect data on alumni of SMK Ihya Ulumuddin in an effective and efficient manner in every year.  Abstrak. Pelacakan alumni atau yang disebut tracer study merupakan salah satu kegiatan yang penting dilakukan saat ini, khususnya pada pendidikan berbasis vokasi. Dengan adanya link and match yang dilakukan sekolah dengan industri, maka sekolah akan dapat mengetahui kualitas lulusannya dan nantinya informasi ini dapat digunakan untuk memperbaiki kurikulum pembelajaran. Saat ini, SMK Ihya Ulumuddin melakukan tracer study masih menggunakan cara manual dengan kertas, ketika alumni mereka datang ke sekolah dan hasilnya kurang optimal. Pengisian tracer study dengan metode ini hanya mampu melacak kurang dari 15% jumlah lulusan setiap tahunnya sehingga gambaran mengenai lulusan SMK Ihya Ulumuddin masih sangat kurang. Data tracer study ini juga wajib disampaikan kepada Dirjen Vokasi setiap akhir tahun dan pihak sekolah selalu mengalami kesulitan dalam menyediakan data ini.. Dari masalah tersebut disimpulkan bahwa pembuatan sebuah aplikasi robot telegram yang terhubung dengan web aplikasi tracer study adalah solusi dari pelaksanaan tracer study ini. Pembuatan sistem ini dimulai dengan berdiskusi dalam membangun sistem Bersama pihak SMK dan setelah aplikasi selesai, ujicoba dan implementasi dilakukan setelah alumni lulus. Pelaksanaan workshop dan pelatihan mengenai tracer study juga dilaksanakan dalam mendukung implementasi sistem tracer study berbasis tekegram ini. Dari hasil pengabdian masyarakat ini, didapatkan pengisan sejumlah 74% dari jumlah lulusan di 2021. Dengan adanya robot telegram yang sudah diimplementasikan ini, pelaksanaan tracer study akan terbantu dalam menjawab pertanyaan tracer study sehingga mempermudah pengelola dalam mengumpulkan data alumni SMK Ihya Ulumuddin secara efektif dan efisien dalam setiap tahun.

Abstract

Abstract. RIASEC is a psychological test method to map a person's personality into 6 criteria. In the implementation of the personality test at SMK Ihya Ulumuddin, currently it is still manual, namely by using a written test on paper media. Of course, this is less efficient because it takes a long time to process the results. In the implementation of this activity, we digitized from what was previously still using paper to be converted into a web-based RIASEC Test system that can be accessed by students anywhere so that they can study and take this test not having to be at school. For the implementation of this activity, at the beginning we discussed and surveyed with partners in making the system to be made. We then realized the results of this survey to create a RIASEC test web and after that we implemented it on partners. After the implementation is complete, we conduct trials and socialize the use of the application with partners and students. From the results of this activity, it was found that previously it took 7 days for the correction results, now the implementation only takes less than 1 hour and almost 100 percent of students like this latest test system. After this series of service activities, it is hoped that the costs incurred by the SMK for the test will decrease and can be optimized for other activities. Abstrak. RIASEC adalah salah satu metode tes psikologi untuk memetakan kepribadian seseorang menjadi 6 kriteria. Dalam pelaksanaan tes kepribadian di SMK Ihya Ulumuddin, saat ini masih manual yaitu dengan menggunakan tes tulis pada media kertas. Tentunya hal ini kurang efisien kerena memakan waktu yang cukup lama dalam proses pengolahan hasilnya. Pada pelaksanaan kegiatan ini, Kami melakukan digitalisasi dari yang sebelumnya masih menggunakan kertas untuk diubah menjadi sistem RIASEC Test berbasis web yang dapat diakses oleh siswa dimana saja sehingga mereka dapat mempelajari dan mengikuti test ini tidak harus ketika di sekolah.  Untuk pelaksanaan kegiatan ini, di awal kami berdiskusi dan survey dengan mitra dalam mebuat sistem yang akan dibuat. Hasil survey ini kmeudian kami realisasikan untuk membuat web RIASEC test dan setelah itu kami implementasikan pada mitra. Setelah implementasi selesai, Kami melakukan ujicoba dan sosialiasi penggunaan aplikasi dengan mitra dan siswa. Dari hasil kegiatan ini, didapatkan hasil bahwa sebelumnya menbutuhkan 7 hari untuk hasil koreksi, sekarang pelaksanaannya hanya membutuhkan waktu kurang dari 1 jam dan hamper 100 persen siswa menyukai sistem test terbaru ini. Setelah rangkaian kegiatan pengabdian ini, harapanya biaya yang dikeluarkan pihak SMK untuk test akan menurun dan dapat dioptimalkan untuk kegiatan lainnya.

Abstract

Seiring berjalannya waktu, kemajuan teknologi terus berkembang di berbagai bidang, salah satunya supermarket. Persaingan supermarket di pasar global sangatlah sengit, khususnya pada aspek pelayanan kepuasan konsumen saat bertransaksi. Permasalahan antrian panjang dan menunggu menjadi faktor menurunnya tingkat kepuasan konsumen. Teknologi barcode yang digunakan dalam transaksi di supermarket tidak jarang menemui permasalahan seperti pembacaan barang dilakukan manual dan posisi barang dengan reader yang harus sesuai. Teknologi RFID menjadi alternatif dalam identifikasi barang dengan memanfaatkan radio frekuensi dan digunakan dalam pengembangan alat kasir barang otomatis. Alat kasir barang dilengkapi dengan conveyor sebagai media penggerak otomatis barang untuk diidentifikasi. Proses identifikasi dilakukan dengan pengecekan data di dalam database melalui mikrokontroller. Alat ini mampu mendeteksi RFID tag pada barang (didalam kantong plastik ataupun tidak) dengan baik. Tingkat identifikasi RFID tag pada barang mencapai 100%. Alat dapat berfungsi dengan optimal dalam pembacaannya dengan jarak 0 - 2.5 cm dari RFID Reader dengan nilai 100%. Alat ini dilengkapi dengan keranjang sebagai media penampung barang hasil identifikasi dengan nilai rata-rata fungsionalitas sebesar 87% atau sebanyak tiga buah barang. ABSTRACTAs time goes by, technological advances continue to develop in various fields, one of which is supermarkets. Supermarket competition in the global market is very fierce, especially in terms of service, especially customer satisfaction during transactions. The problem of long queues and waiting is a factor in decreasing the level of customer satisfaction. Barcode technology used in supermarket transactions often encounters problems such as manual reading of goods and the position of the goods with the reader that must match. RFID technology is an alternative in identifying goods by utilizing radio frequency and is used in the development of automatic goods cashiers. The goods cashier is equipped with a conveyor as a medium for automatically moving goods to be identified. The identification process is carried out by checking the data in the database through a microcontroller. This prototype is able to detect RFID tags on goods (in plastic bags or not) properly. The identification rate of RFID Tags on goods reaches 100%. The prototype can function optimally in reading with a distance of 0 - 2.5 cm from the RFID Reader with a value of 100%. This prototype is equipped with a basket as a medium for holding identified items with an average functionality value of 87% or as many as three items.

Abstract

Politeknik Negeri Banyuwangi masih menghadapi kendala dalam melakukan survei kepuasan secara efektif dan efisien. Metode survei yang saat ini digunakan kurang praktis dan hasilnya sulit diolah. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk merancang dan membangun sebuah sistem survei kepuasan pemangku kepentingan berbasis web di Politeknik Negeri Banyuwangi menggunakan metode pengembangan extreme programming. Sistem ini bertujuan untuk mengumpulkan umpan balik dari berbagai pemangku kepentingan, termasuk mahasiswa, dosen, alumni, dan masyarakat umum, serta perusahaan terkait dengan berbagai aspek kinerja dari institusi. Metode pengembangan extreme programming dipilih karena memungkinkan iterasi cepat dan responsif terhadap perubahan kebutuhan pengguna serta memaksimalkan kolaborasi antara tim pengembang dan pemangku kepentingan. Sistem dirancang dan dikembangkan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan Javascript dengan Framework Laravel, dengan memperhatikan prinsip-prinsip extreme programming. Berdasarkan pengujian yang dilakukan dengan metode unit testing dan fungsional testing pada 15 responden dengan 14 responden sebagai user dan 1 responden sebagai admin didapat hasil 85,1 % oleh user dan 94% oleh admin.   ABSTRACT Banyuwangi State Polytechnic still faces challenges in conducting satisfaction surveys effectively and efficiently. The current survey methods are impractical and difficult to process. This research aims to design and develop a web-based stakeholder satisfaction survey system at Banyuwangi State Polytechnic using the Extreme Programming development method. The system aims to gather feedback from various stakeholders, including students, lecturers, alumni, the general public, and related companies on various aspects of institutional performance. Extreme Programming was chosen for its ability to allow rapid iterations and responsiveness to user needs, maximizing collaboration between developers and stakeholders. The system is designed and developed using PHP and the Laravel Framework, adhering to Extreme Programming principles. Based on the testing conducted using unit testing and functional testing methods on 15 respondents, with 14 respondents as users and 1 respondent as an admin, results showed a satisfaction rate of 85.1% for users and 94% for the admin.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology, including web application development, demands the selection of an optimal framework to achieve the desired performance. Homestay Kosasih had used Laravel as its development framework, but faced performance challenges such as increased response times and higher resource usage. This research aims to compare the performance of Laravel (based on PHP) and ExpressJS (based on JavaScript) in the context of Kosasih Homestay application development. The research method uses a quantitative approach with direct performance testing on both frameworks, measuring loading time, responsiveness and efficiency of resource use. The results show that ExpressJS has faster response times and more efficient resource usage than Laravel. However, Laravel excels in ease of development and complete built-in features. The conclusion of this research is that ExpressJS is more recommended for applications that require high performance and efficiency, while Laravel is more suitable for development that requires complete built-in features. These findings provide insight for the development team in choosing the most appropriate framework to improve the performance and responsiveness of the Homestay Kosasih application.

Abstract

The research focuses on evaluating the functionality of the Homestay Kosasih application, particularly in terms of user interaction, data management, and user satisfaction. This study combines Black box Testing and UAT methods to provide a comprehensive understanding of the application's quality and performance. The research aims to assess the application's functional features, focusing on user interface, ease of use, and the application's ability to meet user expectations. Through analysis, this study will provide a thorough understanding of the application's quality and also measure the level of user satisfaction with the hotel reservation application, involving assessments of user interface, ease of use, and the application's success in meeting user expectations. The results show that the Homestay Kosasih application exhibits good functionality with 80.9% valid test cases and good user acceptance with an average score of 74.39% from 40 respondents. Therefore, it can be concluded that the entire series of application testing for Homestay Kosasih is deemed good.

Abstract

SMPN 3 Genteng faces challenges in providing information that is easy to understand and visually appealing to users. The current website has a disorganized layout, making it difficult for users to find information about school services. An evaluation using the System Usability Scale (SUS) revealed a usability score of 41.58, rated as "Awful." Based on this evaluation, a redesign of the User Interface and User Experience (UI/UX) using the Design Thinking method was necessary. The redesign process was carried out through five stages: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. The solutions developed included improving the layout, enhancing the functionality of the menu, and creating a new prototype. This prototype was then evaluated using the SUS method, resulting in a score of 82 with a "Good" rating, indicating a significant improvement in the website's interface. The goal of this research was to enhance the usability and user experience (UI/UX) so that information about school services can be accessed more efficiently and pleasantly. The results show that the redesign successfully met user needs and improved their interaction with the school's website.
