Abstract

As the population grows and e economic development, houses could be one of basic needs of every family. Therefore, housing investment has promising value in the future. This research implements the Self-Organized Map (SOM) algorithm to cluster house data for providing several house groups based on the various features. K-means is used as the baseline of the proposed approach. SOM has higher silhouette coefficient (0.4367) compared to its comparison (0.236). Thus, this method outperforms k-means in terms of visualizing high-dimensional data cluster. It is also better in the cluster formation and regulating the data distribution.

Abstract

In education, essay is considered as the best tool to evaluate student’s high order thinking and understanding. In the other hand, manual processing and grading essay answers by a teacher need much time and tending to subjectivity grading. Meanwhile automatic essay grading in e-learning system find the difficulties in comparing model or key answer to student’s answer because student’s can answer the question with so various way. That means a right answer also can be so various, for they have same semantic meaning. This paper proposed automatic essay grading using Latent Semantic Analysis. But before the texts being scored, they will be pre-processed using stop words removal and synonyms checking. Calibration process implemented for dealing with the various possible right answer and help to simplify the term matrix. Implementation of this approach using Java Programming Language and WordNet as lexical database for searching the synonyms of every given words. The accuracy obtained by this method is 54.9289%.

Abstract

The village website is one of the infrastructures that must be provided by the local government to convey information related to village development, village potentials, and their activities to the society. However, most village websites in Rogojampi District have a very minimal frequency of updating information. This community service aims to equip village officials with the skills to present data digitally so that information updating activities can be improved. This activity is carried out in three stages, which are preparation, workshop, and evaluation - mentoring. At the preparation stage, coordination with partners is carried out to map the initial skills of prospective participants and the material to be provided. At the workshop stage, participants are equipped with the skills to design infographics using Canva and the application of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques on websites. Participants are accompanied for one month to update information on the village website. As many as 90% of village officials who participated in the training have updated the information on their website. Thus the service activities have been successful

Abstract

Dalam ilmu Biologi, terdapat berbagai cara untuk menentukan kedekatan antar dua individu, antara lain dengan mengamati kesamaan morfologi fisik kemudian membuat dendogram dan pembuatan pohon filogeni untuk menelusur kekerabatan berdasarkan sejarah evolusi suatu makhluk hidup. Akan tetapi pendekatan ini sangat sulit untuk dilakukan apabila hewan yang akan ditentukan kekerabatannya tidak berada dalam kondisi yang hidup, sehingga sangat sulit untuk mengamati ciri-ciri fisik yang ada. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendekatan yang berbeda dalam menentukan kekerabatan hewan dengan menggunakan struktur protein IGF2. Kekerabatan dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode clustering K-Means. Untuk memudahkan dalam melakukan pengelompokkan struktur protein yang memiliki panjang sekuens yang beragam, maka teknik n-gram digunakan untuk memecah string menjadi beberapa subsekuens dengan panjang yang sama. Pengelompokkan dengan metode K-Means telah dilakukan dan mendapatkan hasil terbaik pada jumlah cluster sebanyak tujuh cluster, dengan silhouette coeficient rata-rata sebesar 0.331, indeks puritysebesar 0.735, dan precisionsebesar 0.823 yang mengindikasikan proses clustering cukup efektif.In Biology, there were various ways to determine the closeness between two individuals, such as by observing the similarity of physical morphologies then making a dendogram and also by making a phylogenetic tree to trace the kinship based on the evolutionary history. However, this approach is very difficult to do if the animal whose relatives are to be determined is not in a living condition, so it is very difficult to observe the existing physical characteristics. This study aims to provide a different approach in determining animal kinship using clustering algorithm to cluster the IGF2 protein structures. Kinship is determined using the K-Means clustering method. N-gram technique is used to break the sequence into several subsequences with the same length, because each sequence can have various length. Grouping with the K-Means method had been done and got the best results on the number of clusters as many as seven clusters, with an average silhouette coefficient of 0.331, a purityindex of 0.735, and a precisionof 0.823 which indicates the clustering process is quite effective.

Abstract

Awareness and the need for authentication or assurance of the authenticity of halal foods is a challenge in many countries, especially in Muslim countries. So, many countries where the majority of the population is Muslim are quite strict in ensuring the sale and purchase of meat, especially in traditional markets. Therefore, this study aim is to find a system to identify the types of meat from the image, such as the initiation of the manufacture of practical technology for the authentication of halal products. In this study, the box-counting method was used to determine the fractal dimension value of the identified animal flesh image. The container counting method uses the texture of the animal’s meat that has unique characteristics of each type. The results of the identification of the animal meat obtained were 24 tests which were correctly identified from a total of 36 test data. This translates into a 66,67% success rate for the system.

Abstract

Keamanan pangan berupa aspek halal menjadi kebutuhan primer bagi masyarakat Indonesia. Studi bioinformatika menawarkan pendekatan untuk analisis materi genetik organisme dari database yang telah tersedia secara luas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan marker dari sekuens protein beberapa sampel kelompok mamamlia secara in silico dengan pendekatan bioinformatika. Pemilihan sampel urutan protein didasarkan pada protein yang telah banyak dilaporkan secara luas yaitu protein IGF2 (insulin like growth factor 2) dan CytB (cytochrome B). Analisis kekerabatan antar sampel menggunakan konstruksi pohon filogenetik berdasarkan sekuens protein sampel spesies mamalia halal yang dibandingkan dengan sampel mamalia non-halal seperti babi dan anjing. Tahap terakhir adalah analisis struktur dan sifat fisikokimia protein target untuk menentukan marker 'halal'. Analisis pohon filogenetik menunjukkan bahwa spesies babi menempati kelompok yang berbeda dengan mamalia yang umum dikonsumsi di Indonesia dan paling dekat hubungannya dengan spesies anjing. Prediksi sifat protein sampel memberikan informasi kesamaan titik isoelektrik dan karakteristik kelarutan antara sekuens protein spesies babi dan anjing. Dua blok penanda pada sekuen babi dan anjing dari protein IGF2 didapatkan dengan metode multiple sequence alignment berupa urutan YDTWKQSAQRLRRGLPALLRARRGR dan HGGASPEASG. Temuan tersebut dapat menjadi penanda baik secara struktur (urutan) maupun posisinya sebagai acuan dalam pengujian produk halal berbasis DNA, khususnya dengan metode PCR.

Abstract

"Ruang Rindu" is a website administered by the Department of Social Affairs and Empowerment of Women and Family Planning in Banyuwangi Regency. It serves as the focal point for various social programs. The services offered cover both offline and online reporting and consultation. Consultation can be conducted in person at the department's office or via WhatsApp for online consultations. This dual consultation service setup allows users to choose the method that suits their needs best. However, there are challenges with both offline and online consultations. Offline consultations often face issues with queues and waiting times, while online consultations raise concerns about user privacy and data security on WhatsApp. To address these challenges, the UI/UX design team at "Ruang Rindu" utilized the design thinking approach to develop and enhance both offline and online consultation features. The research resulted in the creation of six interface designs. Through testing and analysis using the MAUS (Maze Usability Score) method, a score of 80 was achieved, indicating moderate usability. Similarly, the SUS method yielded a score of 69.25, suggesting a moderate level of user experience. Overall, the "Ruang Rindu" website was found to be acceptable to the public. Key areas explored in this research include UI/UX, Design Thinking, MAUS, and SUS.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi yang cepat telah memunculkan era baru dalam industri musik. Dengan meningkatnya popularitas cover musik di berbagai platform seperti YouTube, Spotify, dan platform musik digital lainnya, CV Dewangkara Pujangga Sejahtera memiliki peran kunci dalam mengurus hak cipta dan royalti. Saat ini, semua proses bisnis di CV Dewangkara Pujangga Sejahtera masih dilakukan secara manual, menyebabkan pengolahan data menjadi kurang efisien serta tidak terstruktur. Oleh karena itu, kebutuhan akan sistem informasi berbasis aplikasi web yang dapat mendokumentasikan pendaftaran, menyediakan pilihan lagu saat pengajuan cover, dan menyajikan informasi mengenai pendistribusian laporan pendapatan sangat penting untuk mendukung kegiatan bisnis mereka. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan proses pengelolaan data agar lebih terdokumentasi dan penyajian data menjadi lebih efisien guna menunjang proses bisnis yang ada. Dalam pengembangan sistem informasi program cover partner, model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah RAD (Rapid Application Development) yang terdiri dari tahapan perencanaan kebutuhan, desain pengguna, konstruksi, dan implementasi. Selain itu, dalam pengujian sistem, digunakan metode white box testing dengan teknik basic path untuk menguji struktur kode yang telah dibuat. Hasil pengujian terhadap beberapa kasus uji menunjukkan bahwa view kelola akun cover partner menghasilkan dua jalur independen, view katalog lagu menghasilkan satu jalur independen, pembuatan pengajuan cover menghasilkan dua jalur independen, dan view riwayat pembayaran menghasilkan satu jalur independen.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas pengembangan sistem informasi manajemen jasa layanan internet di PT Semesta Multitekno Indonesia untuk mengatasi tantangan yang dihadapi terkait pengaduan pelanggan dan pembayaran pada loket. Dalam penelitian ini, dirumuskan tiga masalah utama yaitu pengembangan sistem informasi, penanganan pengaduan pelanggan, dan pengurangan biaya cetak tagihan pembayaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan sistem yang efisien, mendokumentasikan penanganan pengaduan pelanggan, dan mengurangi biaya operasional. Pengembangan sistem informasi manajemen pada penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan RAD. Batasan penelitian ini mencakup fokus pada pengelolaan pengaduan dan pembayaran loket dengan pengembangan sistem untuk web. Sistem informasi manajemen ini telah berhasil dikembangkan dengan fitur pengaduan dan pembayaran dan telah diuji dengan metode pengujian black box dengan hasil keseluruhan sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Sistem informasi manajemen ini dapat mendokumentasikan pengaduan pelanggan, dibuktikan dengan hasil total UAT 96% kesesuaian dengan kebutuhan PT Semesta Multitekno Indonesia. Selain itu, sistem ini berhasil memangkas biaya cetak tagihan internet pelanggan sebesar Rp. 500.000 per bulan menjadi Rp. 0 per bulan. Kesimpulan ini menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan sistem informasi telah berhasil mengatasi tantangan yang dihadapi perusahaan dalam hal pengelolaan pengaduan pelanggan dan pengurangan biaya operasional, serta memberikan manfaat yang signifikan bagi PT Semesta Multitekno Indonesia.

Abstract

In 2011, Karangbendo Village in Rogojampi Subdistrict, Banyuwangi Regency, had a population of 6,891 residents spread across five hamlets. However, the village government still lacks a comprehensive and real-time digital database, which has hindered decision-making, particularly in distributing social aid. Data collection is still conducted manually using paper forms and the Dasawisma application, which is considered inefficient, making it difficult for officials to access up-to-date and accurate information. To address this, a web-based population system is being developed to enable digital storage and access, with training for village officials and volunteers to begin data input in July 2024. The project will be implemented in stages, starting with the data input feature, followed by training to reduce errors. After data input, additional training will focus on maximizing the system's features, and progress will be measured by the amount of data successfully entered. The web-based system has now been completed, and training for Dasawisma volunteers and village officials has taken place. System evaluation shows an user acceptance rate 4.13 of 5, with a goal of completing 60% of the population data by December 2024.
