Twenty-first Century era has brought great challenges in Indonesian education system, i.e. the increasing demand for the students to have foreign language skills to succeed in global world competition. Particularly in the higher education, the awareness of learning English leads some lecturers in Accounting Department Faculty of Economics State University of Malang to apply the concept of Content-and-Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) during the classroom instruction (CLIL) – dual-focused education in which the content subject is delivered through foreign language. It is expected that students are benefited from content and language integration so that they can compete in the real global market. This study, then, elaborated the CLIL practice reflections in Accounting Department as seen from the students’ viewpoint. The data were collected by means of questionnaire and interview. The respondents were students of accounting department class QQ 2012. The result of this current study, then, is aimed at examining students’ general attitude toward CLIL and the effect of English instruction on their language competence. Moreover, the findings in this present study are also intended for evaluating CLIL implementation for further betterment.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompensasi, tingkat pendidikan, dan lingkungan kerja fisik terhadap produktivitas kerja pada PT Wasabhi Inti Sukses. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan PT. Wasabhi Inti Sukses sejumlah 71 karyawan. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh anggota populasi karena dalam penelitian ini mempunyai populasi yang tidak terlalu banyak yaitu berjumlah 71 karyawan. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompensasi, tingkat pendidikan, dan lingkungan kerja fisik, berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap produktivitas kerja. Saran dari peneitian adalah perusahaan dapat menambah fasilitas kerja yang mendukung agar karyawan dapat bekerja secara optimal.

Peace values are one of the universal values that are important to be taught in education. ELT textbooks are one of the effective media to transfer them. However, there were still some ELT textbooks published in Indonesia and abroad that had not covered a balanced representation of peace values in them. In addition, the ELT textbooks analyzed mostly still used 13 Curriculum even though currently in Indonesia it had changed to the Emancipated Curriculum. Previous research also mostly examined what types of peace values were represented in ELT textbooks without specifying them. Therefore, this research was conducted to refine previous research and also analyzed what peace values were represented in one of ELT textbooks based on the Emancipated Curriculum by precipitating more crucial types of peace values based on Turnip & Yanto's (2021) explanation. Furthermore, Content Analysis by Ary et al. (2013) was chosen as the analysis method in examining the representation of peace values through visual materials. After that, this research found that peace values were represented equally, namely 4 visual materials in all three types. This was a form of implication that peace values had been well covered in ELT textbooks and could be used as a learning media that could guide students to be peaceful for themselves, society, and the environment.

This current quasi experimental research tried to investigate the main effect of PANORAMA reading strategy which consists of Previewing, Annotating, Noting Vocabulary, Organizing, Reading aloud, Assessing, Monitoring, Answering, compared to the combined translation and reading aloud (TRA) toward students’ reading comprehension. After the process of treatment, the results of the two groups were compared and analyzed statistically. It was revealed that the difference between the control and the experimental groups was not significant. Despite the insignificant difference, PANORAMA is potential to be considered as an alternative of reading strategy to help students to comprehend English reading passage.

Rumah potong ayam (RPA) PT. Ciomas Adisatwa Maros merupakan salah satu perusahaan perunggasan yang bergerak di bidang industry pemotongan unggas yang telah menggunakan teknologi moderen sesuai SNI. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui mendeskripsikan strategi pemasaran karkas ayam broiler di masa pandemi covid 19 pada PT. Ciomas Adisatwa Maros. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif. Untuk memperoleh data menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarik kesimpulan. Melalui metode deskriptif analisis peneliti berusaha memaparkan secara jelas berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan bauran pemasaran yang meliputi Produk yang dijual di PT. Ciomas Adisatwa Maros merupakan karkas ayam broiler yang dijual kepada konsumen. Saluran distribusi karkas ayam broiler di PT. Ciomas Adisatwa Maros melalui 3 lembaga yaitu pedagang besar, pedagang kecil, konsumen, harga karkas ayam broiler di PT. Ciomas Adisatwa Maros menetapkan harga sesuai kualitas ayamnya dan promosi karkas ayam broiler di PT. Ciomas Adisatwa Maros dilakukan melalui SMS, telepon, media sosial online atau pedagang yang langsung datang ke perusahaan.

Berdasarkan hasil Riskesdas 2016 proporsi nasional Rumah tangga dengan PHBS yang memenuhi syarat adalah 32,3%. Terdapat 20 Propinsi yang masih memiliki Rumah Tangga dengan PHBS baik dibawah proporsi nasional. Proporsi tertinggi yaitu DKI Jakarta (56,8%) dan terendah Papua (16,4%). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan Perilaku Hidup Bersih Dan Sehat Di Dalam Tatanan Rumah Tangga Di Desa Pulau Rambai Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Kampar Timur Tahun 2019. Jenis penelitian ini adalah analitik dengan rancangan cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh ibu rumah tangga di Pulau Rambai yang berjumlah 823 KK dengan sampel sebanyak 89 orang. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Analisa data dalam penelitian ini adalah analisa univariat dan bivariat. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa sebagian besar responden berpengetahuan kurang tentang PHBS yaitu 59,6%, sebagian besar responden berstatus ekonomi rendah yaitu 58,4%, sebagian besar responden tidak berperan dalam tenaga kesehatan yaitu 55,1% dan sebagian besar responden memiliki rumah tangga tidak berPHBS yaitu 64%. Berdasarkan uji statistik didapatkan kesimpulan adanya hubungan antara pengetahuan dengan PHBS di dalam tatanan rumah tangga yaitu 0,000, adanya hubungan antara status ekonomi dengan PHBS dalam tatanan rumah tangga yaitu 0,002 dan adanya hubungan antara peran tenaga kesehatan dengan PHBS dalam tatanan rumah tangga yaitu 0,002. Diharapkan ada peningkatan tenaga promosi kesehatan di Puskesmas dari segi kualitas dan kuantitasnya serta puskesmas mengandalkan buku pedoman dan kartu PHBS agar petugas yang melaksanakan tugas mempunyai saran dan mampu meningkatkan kualitas pemahaman petugas.

In a society with diverse religious backgrounds, Indonesian students need to understand the steps to investigate various problems in every aspect of life-related to differences in language, culture and religion. Therefore, English text books as a medium for teaching students not only contain differences between one individual and another but also broadly cover several dimensions of relationships between several parties. Through documentary studies, this research focused on the religious content of the ELT textbook published by the Ministry of Education and Culture. In addition, Critical Discourse Analysis was used to investigate the religious values depicted in the ELT textbook aimed at junior high school students. Three dimensions of the relationship between religious values have appeared in the textbook, namely: (1) the individual relationship with God; (2) individual relationships with other people; and (3) the individual relationship with the universe (environment). These three dimensions are represented by inserting visual-verbal and textual artifacts or products containing religious values in the ELT textbook. This indicates that English plays an important role in shaping students' character. Thus, English teachers are expected to be able to integrate these religious values to increase the positive impact on students' academic quality.

One of the essential components of communication is using politeness strategies to maintain interpersonal relationships and make them effective and efficient. Thus, inserting elements of politeness into the dialogue within textbooks can facilitate students' understanding of the application of polite language so that they can use it later as a reference to practice in everyday communication. Therefore, this study aims to figure out politeness strategies in the dialogues of the "English for Nusantara" textbook for the seventh grade of junior high school. By employing a content analysis, the researchers found out that there are three out of four politeness strategies proposed by Brown and Levinson (1987). There are 8 data on bald on record, 65 data on positive politeness, and 6 data for negative politeness. Meanwhile, off-record was not found in the dialogues of the textbook. The researchers figured out that almost all dialogue is displayed as a comic so that students or readers can understand the context and appropriate expressions when communicating in English. Further, the dialogues are among people with close relationships, such as between peers, family, or teacher-students, which did not present various communication. Therefore, the researchers suggest that future book authors of English textbooks can add dialogues between strangers so that the dialogues do not seem monotonous and the exploration of English communication can be broader. The authors can also continue combining the politeness dialogues with socio-cultural elements appropriate to Indonesian culture.
