Abstract

The incidence of CED in pregnant women in Indonesia according to the results of basic health research (Riskesdas) in 2018 shows that the prevalence of CED risk in pregnant women is 17.3%. A person is said to be at risk of CED if the Upper Arm Circumference (LILA) is <23.5 cm. LILA is a way to determine the risk of chronic energy deficiency (KEK) in pregnant women. The aim of the research is to analyze the relationship between anemia and family income with the incidence of chronic energy deficiency (KEK) in pregnant women in the Batu Bersurat health center working area, Kampar Regency in 2023. Type The research is a quantitative analytical research with a cross sectional design. The research was conducted on 02-09 October 2023 with a population of 180 pregnant women and a sample of 180 pregnant women in the working area of the Batu Bersurat Community Health Center, Kampar Regency, using total sampling data collection techniques. Data collection uses a questionnaire. The data analysis used was univariate and bivariate analysis with the Chi Square test. The results of the final assignment report found that there was a relationship between anemia and the incidence of CED in pregnant women in the working area of the Batu Bersurat Community Health Center, Kampar Regency in 2023 (p value = 0.002) and there was no relationship between income and the incidence of CED in pregnant women in the working area of the Batu Bersurat Regency Community Health Center. Kampar in 2023 (p value = 0.784). It is hoped that Batu Bersurat Community Health Center officers will need to provide nutritional education about CED and how to prevent CED in pregnant women.

Abstract

Stunting is a condition of failure to thrive in children due to chronic malnutrition and recurrent infections, especially in the first 1000 days of life (HPK), namely from the fetus to 24 months. The aim of this research was to determine the relationship between environmental sanitation and the incidence of stunting among toddlers in Ranah Village, the UPT working area. Air Tiris health center in 2023. This research is an analytical study with a cross sectional design. The population in this study were all mothers who had toddlers in Ranah Village, the working area of ??the Air Tiris Health Center UPT, namely 155 toddlers. The sample in this study was  toddlers using random sampling technique. The data collection tool uses a questionnaire sheet. Data analysis in this study used univariate and bivariate analysis and the Fisher Exact Test. The results of research on unhealthy home environmental sanitation were 19 respondents (17.1%), most of the toddlers experienced stunting in the Stunting category, namely 18 toddlers (16.2%) and there was a significant relationship between environmental sanitation and the incidence of stunting among toddlers at the Air Tiris Health Center in 2023 ( ? value = 0.00). There is a significant relationship between environmental sanitation and the incidence of stunting in toddlers. Unhealthy home environmental sanitation will increase the risk of children suffering from stunting to a greater extent than children from families with healthy home environmental sanitation. So it can be concluded that the main problem of environmental sanitation is improving clean water facilities, healthy latrine facilities and providing rubbish bins.

Abstract

Morning sicknessis a very common condition that occurs in pregnant women, especially in the first trimester of pregnancy. In essence, morning sicknessis a normal thing, but it really needs to be given care or monitoring, because if left unchecked it can also be dangerous for the mother, including on the fetus. Factors that cause morning sicknessare hormonal changes in the body during pregnancy, namely increased estrogen and Human Chorionic Gonadotrophin (HCG) and psychological factors such as feelings of anxiety, husband's support, social environmental factors, culture and economic conditions. This research is in the form of a case study, with descriptive observational research methods carried out at the PMB Helni Ramza on 21-26 August 2023. With the results, Ny.R 24 years old G1P0A0 UK 8 weeks with morning sickness, namely experiencing good changes from day to day, at the first visit the mother complained that she felt very often experiencing something called nausea and vomiting in the morning which made the mother weak and had no appetite, at the second visit the mother still complaining of nausea and vomiting but there has been a good change from the previous day and the results of the examination are within normal limits, on the 3rd visit the mother's condition is getting better and the mother says she no longer experiences significant nausea and vomiting or is no longer a problem like the previous condition, and from results of examination of the mother's condition. Thus it can be concluded that the care provided was carried out well and produced positive results.

Abstract

Hypertension in pregnancy is one of the most important problems faced by public health because hypertension in pregnancy is a major cause of maternal and fetal morbidity and mortality. This study aims to determine midwifery care for pregnant women in the second trimester with gestational hypertension at PMB Helni Ramzah S.Tr.Keb in the Sibiruang Koto Kampar Hulu Community Health Center Work Area in 2023. The type of research used in the case study is descriptive research. The subject of this case study is a pregnant woman with gestational hypertension. The results of this research showed that midwifery care for pregnant women was provided by Ny. R, 24 years old, G1P0A0 experienced good changes from day to day, at the first visit the mother felt headache accompanied by nausea, pain scale 4, the pregnant woman's blood pressure was high, namely TD 140/93 mmHg. At the second visit the mother still felt headache accompanied by nausea, pain scale 3, blood pressure was still high, namely TD 140/90 mmHg. On the third visit, the mother stated that the headache had begun to decrease to the shoulders and nausea (+), appetite had begun to improve, the pain scale had dropped to 3 and blood pressure was still high at 138/90 mmHg. On the fourth visit, the mother felt that the headache and nausea had decreased, the pain scale had decreased to 2 and the blood pressure had also decreased or returned to normal to 135/80 mmHg. Pregnant women are expected to consume foods low in salt to keep blood pressure under control and avoid gestational hypertension.

Abstract

A perineal wound is a tear that occurs in the perineal area spontaneously or deliberately by cutting (episiotomy) to make the birth of the baby easier. Efforts to care for perineal wounds are very important to prevent infection in the perineal wound. Acceleration in wound healing is highly expected, one of which is by consuming high protein, namely eggs. This research aims to provide care to postpartum mothers with perineal wounds at PMB Dewi Sartika in the working area of ??the Kuok Community Health Center in 2024. This research is in the form of a case study with a descriptive observational method carried out on Ny. A at PMB Dewi Sartika on July 4-10 July in 2024. The results of the case study research given to Ny. A namely three visits over 1 week. The midwifery care provided is in the form of counseling on how to care for perineal wounds, teaching mothers personal hygiene in the perineum and genitalia area, giving mothers eggs to boil and consume twice every day. Based on the care given to Ny. A In conclusion, the care provided was carried out well and produced positive results. It is hoped that this research can become a reference for readers, researchers and increase insight and develop knowledge regarding care for postpartum mothers with perineal wounds.

Abstract

Emesis gravidarum is a common complaint that accompanies pregnancy but causes discomfort, if excessive it can become hyperemesis which will have a bad impact on the mother and fetus. The aim of the research is to provide midwifery care to pregnant women with Emesis gravidarum at PMB Asnidar Working Area of ​​Puskesmas XIII Koto Kampar on 14 June – 18 June 2024. The results of this case study research given to Mrs. J with 3 visits in 5 days were that the mother said that nausea and vomiting had reduced. The midwifery care provided is in the form of providing counseling about emesis gravidarum. Treatment consists of providing papermint aroma therapy. Based on the pregnancy care provided to Mrs. J aged 25 years G2P1A0H1, it was found that nausea and vomiting had reduced. The conclusion was that the care provided was carried out well and produced positive results. It is hoped that the results of this case study can add references that can be used for subsequent research

Abstract

Newborns are babies born from 37 – 42 weeks of gestation with a birth weight of 2500 – 4000 grams. During this period, there was a very big change from life which was originally in the womb, completely dependent on the mother, to outside the womb, which had to live independently. Providing Midwifery Care using a midwifery management approach to Newborns at PMB Nurwati in the Air Tiris Health Center Working Area in 2022. This study used a descriptive observational method with a case study approach that aims to determine midwifery care. This study conducted an assessment and collection of basic data is the initial stage of midwifery management using SOAP with a Varney mindset, namely subjective data assessment, objective data assessment, assessment and the appropriate management according to the problems complained of by Baby Ny. I is Normal Newborn Baby. Data collected by researchers through direct examination of newborns with their parents and their closest family. Based on the care given to the baby, Mrs. I have been given care for 8 days. The midwifery care carried out was preventing heat loss, cleaning the airway, cutting and caring for the umbilical cord, giving an IMD, performing a physical examination, administering vitamin K injection, giving eye ointment, hospitalization, bathing the baby, swaddling the baby, and giving HB0 immunization. Abstract

Postpartum is a period where there are a series of changes in the mother that have an impact on the physical, psychological and social. To optimize the health of mothers and babies, postpartum care must be an ongoing process, with care and support tailored to the needs of each postpartum mother so that the care provided can help the mother through her postpartum period. Postpartum care consists of monitoring and examination. The examination materials included measuring the mother's body temperature and pulse, recording blood pressure, examining the breasts, assessing uterine involution, monitoring lochia. The purpose of this case is to find out the midwifery care given to Mrs. Y aged 31 years P1A0H1 which is experiencing good changes from day to day, 6 hours postpartum the mother complains of pain in the perineal wound area, and on the sixth day the mother does not feel pain anymore in the perineal area. suture area. From the results of this study, it is expected that the post-partum mother always maintains the cleanliness of the perineum that has been done well. Thus the care provided to these patients goes well.
