Abstract

Kata Kunci : Perilaku Konsumtif, Layanan konseling kelompokThis research is research Type experiments. Variables in research is the consumerist behaviorand group counseling services. The sample in this study was 10 grade X SMA Negeri 1Wanasaba Lesson 2016/2017 Year. The sampling technique used was Purposive Sampling andProportional Random Sampling. The data collection method used is the now the behavior of theconsumer, while supporting data collection method that is observation. Data analysis is adescriptive analysis of the percentage of the test and t-test. The results of this research showthat the level of consumptive behavior of students before obtaining preferential treatment in theform of counselling services group the average percentage of 66.04% included in the criteria, while the high level of consumptive behavior of students After obtaining preferential treatment inthe form of counselling services group an average of 48.49% percentage is included in thecriteria is low, thus the students in this group experienced a peminimalan consumptive behaviorwith an average percentage of 17.57%. The t-test test results show that thitung = ttabel > 7.27 =2.26, which means Ha Ho accepted and rejected. It is shown that the results are significant, i.e.occurs a significant difference between before and after obtaining counselling services group.Based on the results of the research, it can be inferred that the consumerist behavior grade XSMA Negeri 1 Wanasaba can be minimized through group counselling service. Keywords: Consumer Behavior, counseling services group

Abstract

Monitoring, managing, and maintaining conservation areas are challenges faced by various parties. The Spatial Monitoring and Reporting Tool (SMART) is an application used to measure, collect, evaluate, and improve the effectiveness of location-based monitoring and conservation activities and has been implemented at the Pemerihan Resort, Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park (TNBBS). Based on the SMART application, the research aims to analyze the findings of threats and wildlife on active patrol routes. The methods used are documentary studies and field observations. The data obtained from the documentary study is in the form of data from forest patrols for two years (2020-2022), then processed, classified, and analyzed into data on threat findings and wild animal encounter data directly or through signs of presence, which is then verified through field observations. The research results show that the data found from the SMART application during four patrol periods from 2020-2022 consisted of 143 threat findings and 841 wild animal encounters. The highest threat finding was animal hunting, with 56 findings (39%), and the lowest was logging, with three findings (2%). Twenty-three wild animal encounters were found directly or through signs of presence such as tracks, feces, scratches, and food remain. The highest wildlife encounter was the sambar deer (Rusa unicolor). The high threat findings indicate much human activity in the Pemerihan Resort Area, TNBBS, which can disturb wildlife and its habitats.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to identify the types of plants consumed by Sumatran elephants, the parts they eat, and the most frequently consumed plant species as a basis for managing Sumatran elephant feed in the Camp Elephant Response Unit (ERU) area of Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park. Data was collected through direct observation from 09:00 to 15:00 WIB, with observation locations determined using the purposive sampling method. The collected data included the types of food plants, the parts consumed, and the most frequently eaten plant species. Data analysis was conducted by calculating the Sorensen species similarity index and the foraging frequency. A total of 30 plant species were identified as elephant food, with 19 species found in open land habitats. The highest plant species similarity index based on habitat type was found on mixed habitats with swamp openings and cover, reaching 63.15%. The highest plant species similarity index based on individual elephants was recorded for Haryono and Renold at 80%. Eight plant species were identified as the most frequently consumed, including Brachiaria mutica, Cyperus kyllingia, Fimbristylis sp., Imperata cylindrica, Paspalum conjugatum, Panicum repens, Rynchospora corymbosa, and Scleria sp. Additionally, elephants only foraged eight plant species for other functions. Based on this study, Sumatran elephant only consume plant species that are abundant within their grazing habitat. The findings of this study can support the ex-situ conservation of Sumatran elephant by ensuring the continued availability of their food plants in the Camp ERU area of Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park.
