Abstract

Currently, the Industrial Revolution 4.0 is one of the big challenges facing Indonesia. The changes that occur in this era encourage society to carry out relevant innovations. Pastry products are still the favorites of many people in Indonesia. However, most of the raw materials used in these products come from imports, which can have a negative impact on the national economy. Considering Indonesia's abundant wealth of local food ingredients, there is great potential to replace imported ingredients with local ingredients in patisserie products. However, literacy regarding the use of local ingredients in making pastry is still very limited. Apart from that, there are no adequate means of publication among students of the Polimedia culinary arts study program. Therefore, this research aims to develop a publication facility asset in the form of a digital module that innovates the use of local materials in making pastry. The data collection method uses descriptive quantitative with a Likert scale, a publication test is carried out using a form to determine the level of usefulness of preparing digital module assets that have been published for Polymedia Culinary Arts students. The results obtained from the publication of digital module assets were accepted by Polimedia Culinary Arts Students at 88.5%.

Abstract

Wellness tourism is a form of tourism activity that is predicted to become a form of tourist travel with high interest in 2023. In line with this, the stigma of wellness tourism that has developed in society tends to lead to resort and spa tourism, which does provide refreshing services. physical and psychological health. The limited ability of the community to access this form of resort and spa tourism has opened a gap to develop a new destination, which can also fulfill physical and psychological refreshments. This research aims to dig deeper into this gap, to find the potential for innovation in using museums as wellness tourism destinations. This research was conducted using a literature study method, using a Literature Review and Meta[1]ethnography approach. This approach was chosen, because it is hoped that the conclusions from this research can become a new idea for innovation in museum attractions in Indonesia. Data collection was carried out by reviewing various previous studies related to museums and wellness tourism. Data processing resulting from the literature review is carried out through a synthesis system, where all previous research results are recorded, classified, and then concluded. The results obtained from this research show that developing museums as an alternative to wellness tourism is very possible. Theoretical principles of wellness tourism that can be applied to museums include wellness being multi-dimensional, wellness being relatively subjective or perceptual, spiritual, physical, and intellectual. The criteria for museums to be able to fulfill the above principles are formulated as 1) the museum must have an area large enough to support tourist walking activities, 2) the museum collection has a cultural and historical background, 3) the exhibition layout is neat and equipped with clear supporting information, and 4) the museum must be calm enough to support the relaxation process.

Abstract

The Thousand Islands is the only island-based marine tourism destination in Jakarta. As the name suggests, the Thousand Islands consist of thousands of small islands, one of which is Pramuka Island. Pramuka Island is not only a tourist destination but also serves as the administrative center of the Thousand Islands. This makes Pramuka Island play a crucial role in the development of the surrounding islands to enhance tourist satisfaction. The significant decline in tourist visits in 2021 was seen due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, it is important to understand the level of visitor satisfaction on Pramuka Island so that tourism destination managers can improve the quality of their services. This study aims to determine the level of visitor satisfaction on Pramuka Island during the Covid-19 pandemic based on a comparison between expectations and reality perceived by visitors regarding product quality and tourism services. This study was conducted in 2022 using a quantitative approach with a sample of 191 respondents. The research instrument was a 19-item questionnaire, which was then analyzed using Microsoft Excel to determine the average value of the gap between expectations and reality perceived by visitors to Pramuka Island. The calculation results showed that the satisfaction level based on product quality was 0.55, categorized as quite satisfied, and service quality was 0.53, categorized as quite satisfied. The purpose of this research is to obtain an overview of visitor satisfaction levels. Therefore, it is hoped that Pramuka Island destination managers will improve service and product quality to increase tourist visits to Pramuka Island.
