Abstract

The complexity of poverty is influenced by various interrelated components such as location, geography, community income, unemployment, health, and environmental factors. The government through all its efforts has reduced poverty both at the urban and rural levels. These efforts are still not fully able to reduce poverty in large numbers. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence poverty in Central Java in 2017-2019. The dependent variable in this study is poverty, while the independent variables include the dependency ratio, the district minimum wage, and the labor force. The analytical tool used in this research is panel data regression analysis with the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) model. The results showed that the UMK (district minimum wage) had an influence on poverty in Central Java Province in 2017-2019; the dependency ratio variable and the labor force have no partial effect on poverty in Central Java Province in 2017-2019; and the dependency ratio, UMK, and labor force variables have a joint effect on poverty in Central Java Province in 2017-2019.Kompleksitas kemiskinan dipengaruhi oleh berbagai komponen yang saling terkait seperti faktor lokasi, geografis, pendapatan masyarakat, pengangguran, kesehatan, dan lingkungan.

Abstract

Fishery as one of the supports for national food security has an important role. The growth rate of fisheries subsector in Special Region of Yogyakarta during the year of 2019 is the lowest rate of all existing subsector. Fishery consists of capture fisheries and aquaculture fisheries. Capture fisheries are divided into marine fisheries (skipjack, cob, tuna, shrimp, others) and public water fisheries (shrimp, fish, others). Meanwhile, cultivation permits such as rearing, hatchery, ornamental fish. Initial efforts to prevent a prolonged decline in the fisheries subsector were to identify the contribution and distribution of the fisheries subsector. The aim is to identify the contribution of the fisheries subsector to total GRDP by using the sectoral contribution index (IKS), identifying comparative advantages using the location quotient approach, and the distribution of the fisheries subsector in Special Region of Yogyakarta in the period of 2011-2019 using the localization coefficient approach. The results of research with the IKS approach are that the fisheries subsector has a small role in overall GRDP in Special Region of Yogyakarta in the year of 2011-2019, the location quotient approach of the fisheries subsector does not have a comparative advantage in Special Region of Yogyakarta in the year of 2011-2019. Meanwhile, the distribution of the fisheries subsector is relatively even and balanced in regencies / cities in Special Region of Yogyakarta in the year of 2011-2019. Sedangkan perikanan budidaya seperti pembesaran, pembenihan, ikan hias.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of technological adoption—specifically artificial intelligence (AI), big data utilization, and FinTech platform usage—on optimal financial decision-making, with financial literacy positioned as a mediating variable. Using a quantitative research design and data collected from financially active individuals, the model was analyzed through Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results reveal that big data utilization exerts both direct and indirect positive effects on financial decision-making through enhanced financial literacy. While AI and FinTech do not demonstrate significant direct impacts on financial literacy, their indirect effects through literacy pathways are supported. Furthermore, financial literacy is confirmed to play a vital role in mediating the relationship between technology and decision-making outcomes. These findings underscore the need to integrate financial education with technological advancements to ensure users can effectively leverage smart finance tools. The research contributes to the growing body of literature on digital financial behavior and offers actionable insights for developers, educators, and policymakers aiming to foster financially competent users in an increasingly digitized economy.
