Abstract

This research involves 38 JUNIOR students with math skills vary, 12 students with high math ability, 18 students with the capabilities of the math medium, and 8 students with a mathematical ability is low. The entire students are asked to work on the problem-solving tests individually, with its main focus are as follows: (1) students were asked to write down what was known to be reserved; (2) write back what is asked the question; (3) write the problem resolution plan; (4) to resolve the issue in accordance with the plans that have been written; (5) try the other possible alternative in resolving problems; (6) rechecking problem resolution. The findings show that students answer math problems solving has diversity which is categorized into four categories: no changes mean, a variability of blind, orthodoxy, and creativity. Students in the creative categories are students who can solve problems by integrating CT and DT by using two models: the CDM and DCM. Students in this category can have opportunities to create and explore the variability.

Abstract

Mathematical modeling is the process of deducing a mathematical model of a phenomenon based on the assumptions used. The purpose of a mathematical model is to make decisions based on real situations by analyzing the model. This research aims to obtain a mathematical model of income for KUD Karya Bhakti Pamekasan, to determine the most dominant variables influencing income and to determine the perception of the Karya Bhakti village community regarding income and progress of KUD in the area. The method used in this research is a quantitative method. Data collection techniques through literature study. Data analysis uses linear regression analysis to obtain a mathematical model, namely Y=228961 935 - 0.197x e. The constant is 228961935, which means that if income (Y) is non-existent or zero (zero), then the SHU (Y) in the cooperative will decrease by IDR 289,61,935. Meanwhile, the b value (regression coefficient) shows a negative value of 0.197. A value of 0.197 means that if income is zero then the SHU remains the same and every additional 1 sale reduces the SHU by 0.197.

Abstract

This research aimed to reveal various reasons that encourage teachers to use outdoor learning, the implementation of outdoor learning in schools, obstacles, and the positive impact of implementing outdoor learning at SDN 2 Tajinan. Researchers employed a descriptive qualitative approach, where data collection was carried out through interviews, observation, and documentation. The research results showed that the reasons teachers use outdoor learning include increasing learning engagement, providing authentic learning experiences, honing skills, and introducing students to the environment. Apart from that, outdoor learning is carried out to connect theory and practice in everyday life, create contextual learning, and develop social skills, problem-solving, and students' curiosity. Outdoor learning is carried out by inviting students to plant plants in the school environment, visiting the Arhanud Education Center in Batu City, and inviting students to get to know the environment around the school. The obstacles faced by teachers are difficulties in conditioning students due to the large number of students and the weather and natural conditions. Apart from that, implementing outdoor learning requires more thorough preparation and tends to take longer than conventional learning. The positive impacts that arise include being able to increase student enthusiasm and involvement in learning, making learning more lively, and increasing students' social-emotional aspects, responsibility, and concern for the environment.
