Abstract

There are many factors influencing work morale, including organizational climate, work environment, work discipline, leadership, commitment, compensation, career development, and promotion and so on. However, this research only examines the factors of work discipline, commitment and organizational climate. This study aims at determining the effect of work discipline, commitment and organizational climate partially and simultaneously on the morale of employees of the Regional Property Management of the Dairi Regency Government. The population of this research is 48 employees. In determining the number of samples, saturated samples are used so that the sample is 48 employees. Data collection techniques in this study are questionnaires, interviews and documentation studies. While the data analysis techniques used are the classical assumption test, multiple regression, partial test, simultaneous test and the coefficient of determination. The results show that the work discipline variable has an effect on the morale of employees at the Regional Property Management of the Dairi Regency Government, where the better work discipline, the higher the morale will also be. The commitment variable has a significant effect on the morale of employees at the Regional Property Management of the Dairi Regency Government, where the better the work commitment, the higher the morale will also be. Organizational climate has a significant effect on the morale of employees at the Regional Property Management of the Dairi Regency Government, where the better the organizational climate, the higher the morale will be. Simultaneously, there is a significant influence on the influence of discipline, commitment, and organizational climate on employee morale. It is recommended that the Head of the Regional Property Management of the Dairi Regency Government should provide an example and provide disciplinary sanctions according to violations committed by subordinates, encourage employee involvement in solving every problem, and provide strong encouragement so that employees commit to work.

Abstract

Productivity can be influenced by many factors, including work discipline, training, work motivation, job promotion; human resource development and work ability but the most important factors are promotion, development of human resources and work ability. This study aims at finding the effect of job promotion, human resource development and work ability partially and simultaneously on the work productivity of employees at Hotel Danau Toba International Medan. The population of this research is 600 workers. To determine the number of samples, the Slovin formula was used so that the sample is 86 workers. Data collection techniques in this study are questionnaires, interviews and documentation studies while the data analysis technique used is the classical assumption test, multiple regressions, t test, F test and the coefficient of determination. The results show that the job promotion variable has a significant effect on work productivity at the Danau Toba International Medan Hotel, where the better the promotion, the higher the employee's work productivity. HR development variables have a significant effect on work productivity at the Danau Toba International Hotel Medan, where the better the HR development, the higher the employee's work productivity. The work ability variable has a significant effect on work productivity at the Danau Toba International Medan Hotel, where the better the work ability, the higher the employee's work productivity. Simultaneously there is a significant influence on job promotion variables, HR development and work ability. It is suggested that hotels need to carry out job promotions based on work competence and work performance, so that employees who have high work abilities and performance are prioritized for promotion. Hotels need to adapt the development program to the long-term development plan, and determine development program participants based on the potential of individual employees' abilities. Hotels need to place employees according to their educational background and work experience.

Abstract

Screw press berfungsi sebagai pemisah minyak dari daging buah atau yang disebut dengan proses pengepresan, apabila mesin tersebut mengalami kerusakan, maka akan menyebabkan terhambatnya proses produksi dan menyebabkan kerugian bagi perusahaan, kerusakan pada Screw press erat kaitannya dengan perawatan. jika perawatan tidak dilaksanakan dengan baik, akan menyebabkan kerusakan pada mesin tesebut. Untuk mengidentifikasi kerusakan dan tindakan perawatan yang tepat digunakan dengan metode FMEA sehingga diketahui kegagalan komponen kritis pada suatu sistem berdasarkan nilai Risk Priority Number (RPN) yang diperoleh. Bedasarkan hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan metode tersebut, diketahui komponen yang rusak dan nilai RPN tertinggi hingga terendah yaitu, Press Cage dengan nilai 384, Double screw 360 RPN, Bearing 144 RPN, Cone dengan nilai RPN 60, Oil Seal 54 RPN dan V- belt dengan nilai RPN 48. Untuk tindakan perawatan yang dilakukan dalam meminimalisir kerusakan tersebut, dilakukan dengan tindakan perawatan prediktif yang merupakan kegiatan perawatan dalam mengantisipasi kegagalan sebelum terjadi kerusakan total dan tindakan korektif yang merupakam kegiatan perawatan yang dilakukan ketika komponen mengalami kerusakan .

Abstract

The first stage of this research was to make polystyrene grafted with maleic anhydride for making the couping agent with other filling compound. In the second stage, the polystyrene matrix grafted with maleic anhydride was combined with filler material derived from palm oil mill waste using the dry mixing method with an internal mixer. Among several variables tested, the optimum composition of the polymer composite was found to be Polystyrene grafted with maleic anhydride: sludge: boiler ash in a ratio of 60:25:15. This composition exhibited a Young's modulus of 856.752 MPa, a tensile strength of 6.057 MPa, and an elongation at break of 0.775%. Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) testing revealed a glass transition temperature of 403.22°C, a crystallization temperature of 426.39°C, and a cross-linking indication temperature of 478.64°C. Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) tests showed an even distribution of the material. Fourier-transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy indicated a decrease in absorption peaks at 3024.94 cm⁻¹ and 3025.15 cm⁻¹, while the polystyrene characteristics at the wave number 1600.57 cm⁻¹ appeared sharper. The sound absorption test results met the ISO 11654:1997 standard for the rating level of sound absorption coefficient in materials, achieving Class D and C sound absorption with an αₙₓ value ranging from 0.328 to 0.793.

Abstract

The recent application of palm empty fruit bunches as solid waste directly on soil or as organic fertilizer has enhanced palm farms. Moreover, the co-products of this palm oil mill constitute a dependable metric for assessing mill processing performance, specifically regarding quantity and weight. The quantity of palm empty fruit bunches is usually ascertained through manual counting using a hand counter during processing. The imprecision in calculating palm empty fruit bunches is a limitation of this method, as operators sometimes perform erroneous calculations, overlook quantities, and produce contradictory results for mill management. To address this issue, the sector requires enhanced execution of a monitoring and counting system methodology. The aim of this community service project is to create an empty fruit bunches count station using an IoTbased palm solid waste counting system for use in palm mills. The Ministry of Industry - Politeknik Teknologi Kimia Industri (PTKI) Medan will engage in and oversee the advancement of Industry 4.0 within the industrial sector. The initiative was executed at Tanah Gambus Estate in Batubara Regency, North Sumatra. Assistance was provided by a palm mill partner associated with PT. Socfin Indonesia. The implementation of the empty fruit bunches palm oil counting system was conducted efficiently, facilitating optimal operations, real–time online monitoring, uninterrupted functionality exceeding 24 hours daily, swift assessment of the empty fruit bunches volume, immediate identification of traditional counting inaccuracies by operators and management, and its station provides benefits to the palm industry.

Abstract

Perhitungan angka kerapatan panen merupakan cara utnuk melakukan prediksi H-1 untuk menghitung angka prediksi panen. Perhitungan ini biasanya dilakukan oleh mandor / asisten afdeling yang memungkin terjadi kesalahan jika dilakukan perhitungan secara manual. Angka KP tersebut akan menjadi dasar dalam menghitung perkiraan panen (hasil panen buah sawit) / blok perkebunan kelapa sawit. angka perkiraan panen akan menjadi dasar juga dalam menghitung banyaknya pemanen yang ideal untuk bertugas dalam proses panen tersebut. Pada penelitian ini akan dibangun sistem informasi untuk menghitung angka kerapatan panen dan beberapa tugas mandor yang dijelaskan sebelumnya akan didukung dengan sistem informasi ini. Angka kerapatan panen yang dihasilkan oleh sistem informasi nantinya akan dibandingkan dengan perhitungan KP yang dilakukan oleh mandor secara manual. Selisih dari hasil akan dihitung % errornya untuk perbaikan sistem informasi yang dibangun nantinya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas mengenai administrasi dan supervisi dalam pendidikan. Administrasi pendidikan berfungsi untuk mengelola berbagai proses pendidikan secara efektif dan efisien, mencakup aspek perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pengarahan, pengkoordinasian, dan pengawasan semua kegiatan pendidikan. Sementara itu, supervisi pendidikan memiliki peran krusial dalam membina dan meningkatkan kinerja guru, serta mutu proses pembelajaran di kelas. Supervisi yang efektif tidak hanya membantu guru dalam mengatasi berbagai tantangan dalam pengajaran, tetapi juga memastikan bahwa proses belajar mengajar berlangsung dengan baik dan sesuai dengan standar yang ditetapkan. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur, yang melibatkan analisis mendalam terhadap berbagai sumber, termasuk jurnal, buku, dan artikel yang relevan. Dengan adanya sistem administrasi yang baik dan dukungan supervisi yang efektif, diharapkan kinerja guru dapat meningkat, yang pada gilirannya berkontribusi pada pencapaian hasil belajar yang optimal bagi siswa. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan yang lebih mendalam tentang administrasi dan supervisi dalam konteks pendidikan, serta implikasinya bagi pengembangan mutu pendidikan di masa depan. elain itu, hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi para praktisi pendidikan dan pembuat kebijakan dalam merancang strategi yang lebih baik untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia
