Abstract

This research aimed to identify efforts to improve the competence of educators (teungku/guree) at Dayah Darul Huda Lueng Angen, North Aceh Regency. The research method used was a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were obtained through observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis, which were analyzed through data condensation, data display, and verification/conclusion stages. The results showed that Dayah Darul Huda Lueng Angen plays a strategic role in traditional Islamic education in Aceh but still faces challenges in human resource development, especially in recruitment, competence, and the welfare of its educators. Dayah Darul Huda Lueng Angen has made several efforts to improve the competence of educators, including a program for teaching the "kitab kuning" to ninth-grade students who then become teachers, joint studies between Abu and Ummi to enhance competence, and regular religious guidance. The recommended actions include enhancing the quality of teaching the "kitab kuning," developing training programs and self-development for educators, and providing awards to motivate educators to enhance the quality of education at Dayah Darul Huda Lueng Angen.

Abstract

This study delineates the role of Prophet Muhammad as a teacher and the significance of educators in education based on both Hadiths and the Qur'an. Employing a library research approach, this study gathered data from various pertinent sources, including classical and contemporary literature, relevant Hadiths, and academic research. By amalgamating information from diverse and credible sources, this research endeavors to provide a comprehensive understanding of Prophet Muhammad's stature as an educator and his role.The findings elucidate that Prophet Muhammad was not solely a prophet and messenger but also a teacher who played a pivotal role in shaping the character, values, and ethics of the Islamic community. He provided tangible examples of righteous living and motivated individuals to pursue knowledge. The study draws vital lessons regarding the role of educators in Islam, the paramount importance of knowledge and education, and the significance of emulating Prophet Muhammad as an exceptional teacher.This research furnishes a deeper comprehension of his contributions to shaping Islamic values and propelling the community towards continuous learning and teaching.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Stunting is a major threat to the quality of Indonesian people, as well as a threat to the nation's competitiveness. This is because being stunted, not only disrupts physical growth (short stature), but also disrupts brain development, which of course will greatly affect ability and achievement at school, as well as productivity and creativity at productive ages (Ministry of Health, 2018) . The aim of this study was to determine whether there was a relationship between birth weight and ANC examination and stunting in children aged 0-59 months. The design used in this study was cross-sectional to see whether there was a relationship between birth weight and ANC examinations with stunting in children aged 0-59 months in the past. The population in this study was 50 children aged 0-59 months at the Sally Clinic in Medan. The sample for this research was 50 children aged 0-59 months at the Sally Clinic in Medan. The sampling technique uses saturated sampling or total sampling. Analysis of research data is univariate and bivariate analysis. The results of the study explained that based on the Fisher's exact test, it was found that there was a relationship between birth weight and ANC examination with stunting in children aged 0-59 months at the Sally Clinic in Medan. The conclusion of the research is that there is a relationship between birth weight and ANC examination with Stunting in children aged 0-59 months at the Sally Clinic Medan. Keywords: Weight, ANC, Stunting, Children Aged 0-59 Months  ABSTRAK Stunting merupakan ancaman utama terhadap kualitas manusia Indonesia, juga ancaman terhadap kemampuan daya saing bangsa. Hal ini dikarenakan stunted, bukan hanya terganggu pertumbuhan fisiknya (bertubuh pendek/kerdil) saja, melainkan juga terganggu perkembangan otaknya, yang mana tentu akan sangat mempengaruh kemampuan dan prestasi di sekolah, juga produktivitas dan kreativitas di usia-usia produktif (DepKes, 2018). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan antara berat badan lahir dan pemeriksaan ANC dengan Stunting pada anak umur 0-59 bulan. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah cross-sectional untuk melihat ada hubungan antara berat badan lahir dan pemeriksaan ANC dengan Stunting pada anak umur 0-59 bulan pada masa yang telah berlalu. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah anak umur 0-59 bulan di Klinik Sally Medan sebanyak 50 orang. Sampel penelitian ini adalah anak umur 0-59 bulan di Klinik Sally Medan sebanyak 50 orang. Tehnik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampling jenu atau total sampling. Analisa data penelitian adalah anlias univariat dan bivariat. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa berdasarkan uji fisher’s exact di dapatkan bahwa ada hubungan antara berat badan lahir dan pemeriksaan ANC dengan Stunting pada anak umur 0-59 bulan di Klinik Sally Medan. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah ada ada hubungan antara berat badan lahir dan pemeriksaan ANC dengan Stunting pada anak umur 0-59 bulan di Klinik Sally Medan. Kata Kunci: Berat Badan, ANC, Bayi Usia 0-58 Bulan

Abstract

The phenomenon of impoliteness in digital spaces is gaining attention because it can affect the quality of public discourse, especially when it comes to national policy issues. This study aims to analyze the forms of impoliteness strategies used by netizens in responding to the attitude and statements of Finance Minister Purbaya regarding the project. Using a descriptive quantitative method, data was collected from netizen comments on the YouTube platform and classified based on Culpeper's impoliteness taxonomy. The results of the study show a total of 604 occurrences of impoliteness strategies, with positive impoliteness dominating at 37.1% through expressions of belittlement or disrespect. Bald on record impoliteness strategies also appeared significantly, mainly in the form of direct criticism without mitigation (10.76%). Meanwhile, negative impoliteness and sarcasm or mock impoliteness appeared in lower percentages, but still described a consistent pattern of verbal aggression. The results of the study show a total of 604 occurrences of impoliteness strategies, with positive impoliteness dominating at 37.1% through expressions of belittlement or disrespect. These findings indicate that netizens' responses tend to be evaluative-negative and are often realized through direct attacks on the self-image of public officials. This study concludes that netizens' rudeness is triggered by dissatisfaction with government statements and reinforced by the characteristics of digital communication, which allows for spontaneous expression without strong social control.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to improve listening comprehension among fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 124385 Pematangsiantar through the integration of BBC Learning English audio and the Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) approach. The problem addressed was the limited use of authentic listening activities in classrooms. The program involved 19 students and was carried out in three phases: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. During the implementation, students participated in contextual listening tasks, vocabulary repetition, group analysis, and interactive question sessions. Rather than using formal tests, the evaluation focused on student engagement and response accuracy through observation. Results showed that 78.95% of students achieved strong listening performance. The findings suggest that integrating Communicative Language Teaching with accessible audio materials supports effective and affordable listening skill development in elementary classrooms.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) method in enhancing the creative thinking skills of eighth-grade students in the topic of neighborly manners at Lembaga Pendidikan Al-Qur’an Ma’had An-Ni’mah, Deli Serdang. The research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a single cycle, as the class achieved the minimum completeness target of 85%. The subjects consisted of 24 students, and data were collected through creativity tests, classroom observations, and assessments of creative thinking aspects: fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. The results revealed a significant improvement in students’ creative thinking skills. Mastery learning increased from 62.5% in the pre-cycle to 91.66% in Cycle I, with the number of students reaching the completeness criterion rising from 15 to 22. Qualitative analysis showed that TSTS encouraged active interaction, idea exchange among groups, and creative collaboration through visual representation, enabling students to generate new ideas, enhance cognitive flexibility, and elaborate their concepts. This method also facilitated the internalization of Islamic adab values through meaningful creative activities. In conclusion, the TSTS method proved to be both practically effective and pedagogically relevant in improving creative thinking and understanding of neighborly adab. The study recommends implementing TSTS combined with visual media and other creative activities to strengthen students’ creativity, motivation, and collaborative skills in learning Islamic adab.

Abstract

This research aims to improve student learning motivation in Arabic subjects on A`ḍā’u al-jismi material through the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) method for Class I-Bstudents at Galih Agung Private Junior High School. This research uses the Kemmis & McTaggart classroom action research model. The research consists of 2 cycles with four components or actions, namely: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection in each cycle. The data collection methods used in this research include: (1) Observation, (2) Tests, (3) Documentation. The data collected from these three methods is then analyzed to obtain research results. The conclusion of the research results shows that; (1) Student learning motivation in Arabic subjects on A`ḍā’u al-jismi material for Class I-Bstudents at Galih Agung Private Junior High School was still low in the initial observation, the researcher found a lack of participation and enthusiasm of students in learning activities which affected the low learning outcomes of students, (2) The application of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) method in Arabic subjects on A`ḍā’u al-jismi material is by holding games and tournaments in the learning process, (3) The increase in learning motivation of Class I-Bstudents at Galih Agung Private Junior High School in Arabic subjects on A`ḍā’u al-jismi material is marked by increased participation and activeness of students in learning and student learning outcomes. In the pre-cycle, low participation and enthusiasm of students in learning activities were seen, and the classical completeness obtained by students was 22.7%. In Cycle I, the assessment of student activity obtained an average score of 2.24, and the classical completeness obtained by students was 65%. While in Cycle II, the assessment of student activity increased with an average score of 3.52, and the classical completeness obtained by students was 90%.
