Abstract

ABSTRACTPAUD (Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini) adalah proses bimbingan yang sangat menentukan corak pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak (3-6 tahun) yang sangat penting di masyarakat. Konsep pengajaran diimplementasikan dalam penataan kelas, metode pembelajaran dan kesehatan gizi anak pada tiap sekolah PAUD. Gurunya mengajarkan berbahasa Inggris dengan cara bermain dan bernyanyi tanpa alat peraga. Dan tuntutan para orang tua berlomba-lomba memasukkan anak mereka ke sekolah yang bertaraf internasional ataupun nasional plus dimana media bahasa yang digunakan adalah bahasa Inggris. Tujuan tulisan ini untuk menguasai pembelajaran bahasa Inggris per kata secara lisan dalam perkembangan Bahasa dengan menggunakan Produk Buku Flanel dalam Bahasa Inggris Edukatif yang akan memudahkan mereka untuk mengajar anak-anak usia dini. Adapun solusi tersebut: memberikan pelatihan dalam metode pengajaran bahasa Inggris Edukatif per kata dalam perkembangan bahasa anak, mengeluarkan produk Buku Flanel dalam bahasa Inggris Edukatif per kata, dan memberika pelatihan bahasa Inggris Edukatif kepada guru-guru. Beberapa metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah (1) Persiapan untuk mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan, (2) Pelaksanaan (tindakan) dalam ketrampilan menjahit dan menggunting pola yang akan membuat suatu produk dari bahan flannel menjadi alat peraga (bantu) mengajar, (3) Observasi tindakan dengan mengerjakan ketrampilan menjahit dan menggunting pola yang dibuat menjadi ?buku flannel?, (4) Evaluasi kesiapan guru-guru menggunakan produk sangat baik, (5) Dan refleksi sangat antusias dengan kegiatan pelatihan dapat membuat kreasi yang lain dengan bahan flannel, karena bahan flannel ini lembut, tidak berbau, tidak tajam, berwarna- warni, dan aman untuk anak-anak.Kata kunci: AUD, Perkembangan Bahasa, Bahan Flannel

Abstract

The objective of this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) was to discover the implementation of Cooperative Learning namely Think-Pair comprehension. Thirty-two students of Grade XI-Science 2 of State Senior High School (Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri:   SMAN) 4 Kisaran were taught Reading Comprehension using TPS strategy. The students were divided into sixteen pairs. The researcher was assisted by a   collaborator. The data were obtained through observation, field notes, quiz, and questionnaire. This research was conducted by (1) giving reading comprehension test as preliminary study to find out the students’ achievement in reading comprehension, (2) designing a lesson plan, and (3) implementing the CAR in 3 cycles, each cycle consisted of 2 meetings. In Cycle 1, the result of the students’ mean score was x = 59; in Cycle 2 x= 69,7; and in Cycle 3 improved to x = 79,6. It had met the criteria of success, 75% of the students reached the score 70 or more.

Abstract

This study investigates students' perceptions of teachers teaching Non-Native Speakers at Thammislam Foundation School Thailand. This study uses descriptive research methods by collecting data through interviews and interviews given to class students at the school. The tables presented in this study cover various aspects of teaching Non-Native Speaker teachers, such as the using language, humor, multi-modal tools, group discussion groups, and assessment of student class participation. This study’s results indicate the most positive perceptions of Non-Native Speaker teachers. th Most students agree that Non-Native Speaker teachers provide the subject matter in a fun way and can interact with students in class. In addition, most students agree that Non-Native Speaker teachers use body language, humor, and multi-modal tools to facilitate teaching. This shows that Non-Native Speaker teachers at Thammislam Foundation School Thailand successfully created an interesting, interactive and fun learning environment for students. Furthermore, most students agree that Non-Native Speaker teachers design discussion groups and solve problems in class. These activities are considered to increase student participation and develop critical and social thinking skills. In addition, the majority of students also agreed that Non-Native Speaker teachers assess student class participation. Class participation assessments effectively encourage student engagement in learning and build a collaborative classroom environment.

Abstract

Mitigation merupakan modifikasi tindak tutur yang perlu disesuaikan sesuai dengan suatu bahasa, pengesuaian ini dipengaruhi oleh penerapan teknik terjemahan yang dipakai oleh penerjemah. Penelitian ini dibuat untuk menganalisis bentuk-bentuk mitigasi tindak tutur mengkritik di Webtoon Siren's Lament versi bahasa Inggris ke bahasa Indonesia, menentukan penggunaan teknik penerjemahan, dan mengukur kualitas terjemahan dari ekspresi mitigasi tindak tutur mengkritik di webtoon tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Peneliti menemukan 34 data ungkapan-ungkapan mitigasi tindak tutur mengkritik yang terdiri dari 4 mitigasi eksternal yaitu steers, sweeteners, disarmers, dan grounders. Untuk jenis mitigasi internal, terdapat 7 mitigasi internal yang terdiri dari past tense, interrogative, modal, cajolers, downteners, Appealer, dan understater. Terdapat 13 jenis teknik dari 18 teknik penerjemahan yang diterapkan untuk menerjemahkan ungkapan-ungkapan yang meringankan tindak tutur mengkritik. Teknik-teknik tersebut berdampak pada keakuratan dan akseptabilitas kualitas terjemahan dengan skor akurasi 2,61 dan akseptabilitas 2,46. Dengan demikian, kualitas terjemahan dikategorikan akurat dan akseptabilitas sedang. Mitigation is a modification of a speech act that needs to be adjusted according to a language, this adjustment is influenced by the application of the translation technique used by the translator. This paper proposed to analyze mitigation speech acts of criticizing forms in Siren's Lament Webtoon in English to Indonesian version, to determine the utilization of translation techniques, and to measure the translation quality of expressions mitigating speech acts of criticizing in the webtoon. The research applied the descriptive qualitative method. The researchers found 34 data of expressions mitigation speech acts of criticizing consisted of 4 external mitigation, namely steers, sweeteners, disarmers, and grounders. For the internal mitigation types, 7 internal mitigation consisted of past tense, interrogative, modal, cajolers, downteners, appealers, and understaters. There were 13 technique types from 18 translation techniques applied to translate the expressions of mitigating speech acts of criticizing. These techniques impact the accuracy and acceptability of the translation quality with a score of 2,61 for accuracy and 2,46 for acceptabilty. Thus, the translation quality is categorized as accurate and medium acceptability.

Abstract

Segala sesuatu yang tidak terpakai adalah sampah, tidak terpakai, tidak diinginkan, sesuatu yang dibuang begitu saja oleh ulah manusia dan tidak dilahirkan. Sampah dapat dibedakan menjadi sampah anorganik dan organik. Permasalahan terkait sampah menjadi semakin kompleks dalam berbagai konteks. Hal ini disebabkan oleh populasi yang terus meningkat yang tidak terlepas dari rumitnya permasalahan sampah dan kesejahteraan masyarakat itu sendiri, karena itu, kami mendaur ulang sampah botol bekas dan tong sampah yang telah dimanfaatkan di Batang Ayumi. Desa Jae. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode mekanis, yang merupakan salah satu teknik yang paling umum di dunia untuk memanfaatkan sampah baru, daur ulang mekanis. Tujuan dari daur ulang sampah adalah untuk mengurangi sampah dan pencemaran lingkungan, pengurangan penggunaan material atau sumber daya alam, pengurangan emisi karbon dan menciptakan produk yang bermanfaat. Dalam karya di lingkungan Batang Ayumi Jae ini tentang pengelolaan atau daur ulang botol bekas dan ember cat bekas, serta manfaat daur ulang botol plastik dan ember cat. Timbulnya sampah memberikan manfaat besar tidak hanya bagi lingkungan desa Batang Ayumi Jae, tetapi bagi seluruh masyarakat India. Daur ulang sampah dapat mengurangi jumlah sampah yang dikirim ke tempat pembuangan sampah, sehingga mengurangi polusi tanah, air, dan udara. Selain itu, daur ulang membantu mencegah polusi dan kerusakan ekosistem dengan membatasi penumpukan sampah.

Abstract

This study investigates the realization of language policy and language ideology reflected in the linguistic landscape of Medan City's public space. Using a mixed methods approach and an explanatory sequential design, this study integrates quantitative data from the documentation of 300 written texts in five sub-districts and qualitative data from interviews with stakeholders and analysis of policy documents. The results show the dominance of Indonesian (42.7%), followed by multilingual texts (34.7%) and texts in foreign languages such as English and Mandarin (18.3%). There is a discrepancy between the national language policy and linguistic practices in the public sphere, especially in the commercial sector where many foreign languages are used for pragmatic economic reasons. Three dominant language ideologies were found, namely language nationalism, economic pragmatism, and ethnic identity, which compete with each other in influencing language practices. This research demonstrates the dialectical relationship between language policy, language ideology and linguistic practice, and emphasizes the importance of an inclusive and adaptive policy approach to the linguistic diversity of multiethnic societies. The findings contribute to the development of a more contextualized and effective theory of linguistic landscapes and language policy practices.
