Abstract

Sepsis is still an important health problem in the world today. The incidence of sepsis can reach 750,000 cases per year. When mothers have a vital role in family health, their lack of knowledge and concern about sepsis remains an obstacle. Therefore, we need a program to promote and prevent sepsis among mothers in West Medan District as an effort to reduce the number of sepsis in Indonesia. Coaching, training, and counseling are given to PKK mothers and Posyandu cadres regarding the prevention of severe infections that can cause sepsis. This activity began by collecting basic data using the Sepsis Knowledge Scale questionnaire and then provided counseling and training on sepsis. Then, the final results were assessed with a behavioral questionnaire and sepsis knowledge questionnaire. The activity was attended by 29 people, 20 women (72.4%) and 9 men (27.6%). No significant changes were found in the level of knowledge and behavior before and after the activity (Z-score: 0.001; p = 1,000).

Abstract

This research was conducted in Mangarabombang District, Takalar Regency with the aim of finding out the role of education and training for village financial statements based on Government Regulation Number 71 of 2010 concerning Government Accounting Standards.This study shows that education and training play an important role in the understanding and management of village financial statements. Informants with Master's and Bachelor's education backgrounds have an easier time understanding village financial statements, while those with a high school education background have difficulties. The training has been proven to improve the ability of Village Heads, Village Secretaries, and Heads of Financial Affairs to prepare reports, manage finances, and use systems such as the Village Financial System (SISKEUDES), which plays a role in maintaining transparency and stability of village finances.

Abstract

Background: Evaluating recovery after general anesthesia is vital to assess the success of anesthesia procedures. The quality of recovery-40 (QoR-40) questionnaire comprehensively measures post-anesthesia recovery. Poor postoperative pain management can lead to complications and chronic pain. Researchers studied ketamine because of its potential to enhance standard analgesics, improve pain control, and promote better recovery outcomes.Methods: This double-blind, randomized controlled trial involved 42 patients undergoing laparotomy at Haji General Hospital, Medan. Participants were randomized into two groups: one receiving fentanyl at 0.7 µg/kg body weight (BW) and the other receiving ketamine at 0.2 mg/kg BW. Consecutive sampling was used for participant selection, including patients who met specific inclusion and exclusion criteria. The QoR-40 questionnaire, validated in Indonesian, was administered postoperatively to assess recovery across five dimensions: comfort, feelings, support, independence, and pain.Results: The results of the study showed that the total QoR-40 score for fentanyl use had an average of 172.4762 + 3.81601, while in the group using ketamine, the average score was 174.7619 + 3.37498, which had a significant difference between the fentanyl group and the ketamine group with p <0.05.Conclusion: Ketamine provides a superior quality of recovery compared to fentanyl, as evidenced by higher comfort and total QoR-40 scores. These findings support ketamine's use as an effective alternative in anesthetic protocols for laparotomy procedures, promoting better recovery and reducing dependence on opioids.

Abstract

Pemberian edukasi pajak sejak dini merupakan strategi untuk meningkatkan kepatuhan pajak masyarakat di Indonesia. Bagi suatu negara, generasi muda merupakan akar dari bangsa tersebut. Generasi muda menjadi potensi yang sangat besar untuk dibentuk, sehingga di masa depan nanti mereka bisa menjadi perantara yang membawa Indonesia ke puncak kejayaannya. Melalui edukasi pajak sejak dini, secara perlahan mindset positif terkait pajak akan terbentuk pada generasi muda yang nantinya akan menjadi calon wajib pajak. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk menambah wawasan dan pengetahuan pelajar SMA Negeri 13 Makassar akan pentingnya Pajak bagi negara dan masyarakat. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatnya pemahaman dan kesadaran pelajar SMA Negeri 13 Makassar terkait perpajakan yang diterapkan di Indonesia. Berkat adanya ilmu terkait perpajakan sejak dini ini para pelajar mampu memahami tujuan serta fungsi dari pajak.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the Analysis of Financial Performance of Alenangka Village, South Sinjai District, Sinjai Regency in 2022-2023. The type of research used is quantitative research because the data collected is in the form of numbers from the Village Fund Allocation financial report in the Revenue and Expenditure Budget from 2022-2023. The data collection techniques used are Observation, Interviews and Documentation. The informants in this study are the Village Head, Village Secretary, Finance Officer. The results of the study indicate that in general the financial performance of the Alenangka Village Government, Sinjai Regency is good in managing Village Fund Allocation finances. Where the effectiveness ratio of the Alenangka Village Fund during 2022-2023 is categorized as effective. This shows that the ability of the Alenangka Village government to achieve the Village Fund target has been going well. The income growth ratio increased in 2022/2023. This figure shows that the ability of the Alenangka Village Government to maintain and improve its success that has been achieved each year is increasing and getting better.

Abstract

Myasthenic crisis is an acute exacerbation of myasthenia gravis that results in weakness of the respiratory muscles, potentially leading to acute respiratory failure and the necessity for mechanical ventilation support. Approximately 15-20% of individuals with myasthenia gravis will experience a myasthenic crisis at some point in their lives, making it one of the most dangerous and life-threatening complications if not addressed promptly. Fortunately, mortality rates associated with myasthenic crises are currently decreasing, partly due to the effectiveness of therapeutic plasma exchange (TPE). TPE therapy works by removing pathological antibodies, immune complexes, and cytokines from the plasma and replacing them with replacement fluid. In this report, we discuss the case of a 61-year-old man with myasthenia gravis who was admitted to the emergency department (ED) and then to the intensive care unit (ICU) for one day due to a myasthenic crisis. He was intubated and received mechanical ventilation support, followed by plasma exchange therapy, which resulted in clinical improvement

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh alokasi dana desa terhadap penduduk miskin di Kabupaten Gowa khususnya di Desa Tanabangka Kecamatan Bajeng Barat Kabupaten Gowa. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian survey dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan populasi adalah penduduk miskin di Desa Tanabangka Kabupaten Gowa berjumlah 250 sedangkan jumlah sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 72 orang. Analisis statistik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semakin bertambahnya alokasi dana desa maka dapat menurunkan penduduk miskin di Desa Tanabangka Kecamatan Bajeng Barat Kabupaten Gowa.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the financial performance of the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office of Bone Regency in 2018 - 2020. This study uses a value for money model which is a financial performance analysis tool for public sector organizations with ratios consisting of: economic ratios, efficiency ratio, and effectiveness ratio. The results showed that the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office in 2018-2020 based on the concept of value for money in general had shown good performance where the average economic ratio in 2018-2020 at the Bone District Public Works and Spatial Planning Service was 86, 61%, which means it is economical, then the average efficiency ratio is 90.90% which means it is efficient and the average effectiveness ratio shows a figure of 126.23% which means it is effective.

Abstract

The Study aims to analyze improvement quality of financial report through application of governance accounting standards and good governance. Analyzed the data obtained by usinganalysis quantitative. Quantitative analysis includes multiple regression analysis, coefficient ofdetermination analysis and hypothesis throuhh t test and f test. The results of research andstatistical analysis using shows that the quality of financial statements is influenced by theapplication of government accounting standards and good governance.

Abstract

This research was conducted to assess the Effectiveness and Efficiency of performance at the Enrekang Regency Public Works Office. The method used in this study is a quantitative descriptive method, namely analyzing the realization of the 2018 to 2021 Public Works Department budget and expenditure budget using effectiveness ratios and efficiency ratios. The results of the study show that the levels and criteria for the effectiveness of using the budget and the realization of the Enrekang Regency Public Works Office for 2018-2021 vary widely. The implementation of the 2018-2021 Expenditure Budget is said to be quite effective Judging from these calculations, the performance of the Enrekang Regency Public Works Office is quite effective because the average result achieved is 84.26%, while for budget calculations regarding the level of efficiency in spending each year the criterion is said to be efficient because based on 2018 calculations it was 80.20%, year 2019 amounted to 77.86%, 2020 amounted to 78.80% and 2021 amounted to 13.09%. Judging from these calculations, the performance of the Enrekang Regency Public Works Office is efficient because the average result achieved is 62,48%.
