Abstract

Student graduation is one of the assessments in the accreditation of study programs and institutions. The high rate of student graduation on time is directly proportional to the accreditation score. Therefore, each university tries its best to make its students graduate on time. Several strategies were finally implemented by universities, such as holding meetings with the Academic Advisors of each class so that communication occurred which could ultimately provide solutions if potential students were detected who did not graduate on time. This research tries another approach to predict students who have the potential not to graduate on time. Computational calculations taking into account pre-existing data are an interesting topic to discuss. The ID3 algorithm has the ability to create a decision tree regarding a problem. This algorithm was used in this research and the results showed that the first factor that needs to be considered in graduating students at AMIK Harapan Bangsa Surakarta is gender. Men have a higher pass percentage than women with a percentage of 60% versus 40%. This can be a concern for AMIK Harapan Bangsa Surakarta towards final year students to detect as early as possible the potential for students not graduating on time.

Abstract

Abstrak: Peningkatan keterampilan digital saat ini sangat penting, mengingat pesatnya perkembangan dunia teknologi dan digitalisasi yang membuka banyak peluang bisnis. Salah satu cara untuk mendorong kreativitas dan kewirausahaan digital adalah dengan memanfaatkan platform desain grafis seperti Canva untuk membuat produk digital yang dapat dijual di berbagai platform online, seperti Link. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan desain grafis (hardskill) serta keterampilan pemasaran digital (softskill) bagi peserta, khususnya dalam membuat produk desain yang dapat dipasarkan secara efektif. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah ceramah yang dilanjutkan dengan praktik langsung menggunakan Canva untuk merancang produk digital, serta diskusi kelompok untuk menggali strategi pemasaran yang tepat. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 33 peserta yang merupakan siswa/i dari SMK N 7 Surakarta yang tertarik dalam mengembangkan produk digital. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui angket yang dibagikan kepada peserta untuk mengukur peningkatan keterampilan mereka, baik dalam hal desain grafis maupun pemahaman pemasaran digital. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, terdapat peningkatan keterampilan peserta sebesar 80% dalam hal kemampuan desain dan 70% dalam pemahaman pemasaran digital.Abstract: Improving digital skills is currently very important, considering the rapid development of the world of technology and digitalization which opens up many business opportunities. One way to encourage digital creativity and entrepreneurship is to utilize graphic design platforms such as Canva to create digital products that can be sold on various online platforms, such as Link. The aim of this activity is to improve graphic design skills (hard skills) and digital marketing skills (soft skills) for participants, especially in creating design products that can be marketed effectively. The method used in this activity is a lecture followed by direct practice using Canva to design digital products, as well as group discussions to explore appropriate marketing strategies. This activity was attended by 33 participants who were students from SMK N 7 Surakarta who were interested in developing digital products. Evaluation is carried out through questionnaires distributed to participants to measure the improvement in their skills, both in terms of graphic design and understanding digital marketing. Based on the evaluation results, there was an increase in participants' skills by 80% in terms of design abilities and 70% in understanding digital marketing.
