Abstract

Abstrak Program evaluation is a systematic series of activities in order to find information about performance results and criteria that have been predetermined standards in order to overcome problems, or problems in program implementation. Arabic language programs hosted by the Al-Azhal Islamic boarding school are one of several programs that are still in the development stage. However, this program is able to provide motivation and interest for students to learn Arabic. In general, the implementation of the program evaluation at the boarding school of poor al-Azhar is said to be successful with good achievement indicators. Among students are able to use Arabic as an oral language in communication, and the creation of a happy Arabic learning atmosphere. the purpose of the study was to find out the process of conducting an evaluation of the Arabic Language program in Al-Azhar Islamic boarding school. In this study using a type of qualitative descriptive research, as an instrument that researchers conduct observations and interviews directly with educators, students and related parties as a source of data in this study, and as additional data, namely study documents. This study concludes that the implementation of program evaluations at the poor al-Azhar boarding school uses a discrevancy model or gap model, a Goal-Oriented Evaluation Model and a Decision-Oriented Evaluation Model. Keyword: Evaluation, program implementation, Arabic language Abstrak Evaluasi program merupakan rangkaian kegiatan yang sistematis dalam rangka mencari informasi tentang hasil kinerja dan kriteria yang menjadi standar yang telah ditetapkan sebelumnya guna mengatasi masalah-masalah, ataupun kendala dalam pelaksanaan program. program Bahasa arab dipondok pesantren Al-azhal malang merupakan salah satu dari beberapa program yang masih dalam tahap pengembangan. Meski demikian, program ini mampu memberi motivasi dan ketertarikan bagi peserta didik untuk belajar Bahasa arab.. Secara umum, pelaksanaan evaluasi program dipondok pesantren al-azhar malang dikatakan sukses dengan indikator-indikator pencapain yang baik. Diantaranya peserta didik mampu mengunakan Bahasa arab sebagai Bahasa lisan dalam berkomunikasi, dan terciptanya suasana belajar Bahasa arab yang happy. tujuan dari penelitian ialah untuk mengetahui proses pelaksaan evaluasi program Bahasa Arab di pondok pesantren Al-azhar. Dalam penelitian ini mengunakan jenis penelitian deskriftif kualitatif, sebagai instrumennya yakni peneliti melakukan observasi dan wawancara langsung kepada pendidik, peserta didik dan pihak-pihak yang terkait sebagai sumber data dalam penelitian ini, dan sebagai data tambahan yakni study dokumen. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa, pelaksanaan evaluasi program dipondok pesantren al-azhar malang mengunakan model discrevancy atau model kesenjangan, Model Evaluasi Berorientasi Tujuan dan Model Evaluasi Berorientasi Keputusan. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) untuk mengetahui peran koordinator program pasca Amtsilati dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru kader di pondok pesantren Al-Inayah, (2) untuk mengetahui kendala yang dihadapi koordinator program pasca Amtsilati dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru kader di pondok pesantren Al-Inayah, (3) Untuk mengetahui upaya yang diterapkan oleh koordinator program pasca Amtsilati dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru kader di pondok pesantren Al-Inayah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tehnik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan tehnik analisis data, peneliti menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Peran koordinator program pasca Amtsilati dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru kader di pondok pesantren Al-Inayah adalah: Koordinator pasca Amtsilati sebagai supervisor, evaluator, educator. (2) Kendala koordinator program pasca Amtsilati dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru kader di pondok pesantren Al-Inayah adalah: (a) Komitmen guru yang kurang baik, (b) Guru melakukan usaha lain yang terkadang mengganggu tugasnya, (c) Kurangnya penguasaan materi oleh guru. (3) Upaya koordinator program pasca Amtsilati dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru kader di pondok pesantren Al-Inayah adalah: (a) Membuat Perjanjian Kerja (b)Meningkatkan Motivasi Guru, (d) Mengikutkan diklat guru.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the application of the storytelling method in Islamic History learning to increase student enthusiasm and memory at MTsN 2 Bungo Regency. The background of this study stems from the low interest of students in Islamic History lessons, which are often delivered monotonously, resulting in students being less active and having difficulty remembering the material. The storytelling method is considered capable of creating an interactive and meaningful learning atmosphere through the power of stories in conveying historical and religious values. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method. The research subjects were eighth-grade students, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted thematically with a focus on increasing student enthusiasm and memory. The results of the study show that the application of storytelling has a positive impact on student learning motivation. Stories about Islamic figures delivered expressively are able to attract attention and build emotional involvement among students, making it easier for them to remember historical events. In conclusion, the storytelling method has been proven effective in improving the quality of Islamic History learning, especially in terms of student involvement and memory retention

Abstract

This study aims to improve students’ learning interest in Science subjects through the use of Wordwall media in class IX of MTs Negeri 2 Bungo. The research method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) employing the Kemmis and Taggart model, which consists of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of one meeting. The subjects of this study were students of class IX D at MTs Negeri 2 Bungo. Data were collected through observation, student learning interest questionnaires, and documentation, then analyzed using descriptive qualitative and quantitative techniques. The results showed that the use of Wordwall media was effective in increasing students’ learning interest in the topic Human Coordination System: Nervous System. In the first cycle, students began to show curiosity and engagement in the learning process, although there were still some obstacles such as limited media access and uneven student participation. Improvements were made in the second cycle by adding a projector, introducing more varied games, and providing rewards, which resulted in a significant increase in students’ learning interest. Students became more active, enthusiastic, and motivated during the learning process. Thus, the application of Wordwall media proved effective in enhancing students’ learning interest in Science and can serve as an interactive and engaging learning alternative in madrasah settings..

Abstract

Public confidence in newly established madrasahs depends heavily on whether their principals can demonstrate measurable accountability when delivering Islamic education programs. Most existing studies, however, focus on long-standing institutions in urban centers, leaving rural and recently founded madrasahs in Sumatra largely unexamined. This article therefore investigates how the principal of Madrasah Aliyah Wali Songo Tebo a five-year-old institution serving 58 students in Jambi Province, Indonesia operationalizes accountability across the planning, implementation, and reporting phases of Islamic education programs, and identifies the determinants that shape such accountability. A qualitative single embedded case study design was employed between February and May 2025. Data were generated through 18 in-depth interviews with the principal, six teachers, and eleven purposively selected students, complemented by non-participant observation across 21 school days and document review of 14 program reports and budget vouchers. Data were analyzed using the interactive model of data condensation, display, and verification, with credibility secured through source and method triangulation, member checking, and an audit trail. Findings reveal that accountability is enacted through three structured programs hadroh, hitobah, and Islamic-holiday commemorations each documented with itemized budgets and post-event reports submitted to parents and the foundation board. Disciplinary accountability is enforced through a teacher attendance log, a 15-minute early-morning duty schedule, and a parent-approved IDR 10,000 truancy fine. Four determinants emerge: leadership competence, personal integrity, supervision-and-regulation systems, and resource sufficiency. Although funding and facilities meet ministerial standards, teacher shortages compel several teachers to handle up to three subjects, weakening pedagogical effectiveness. The study concludes that accountability functions as a multidimensional managerial mechanism rather than a purely administrative obligation, and that human-resource sufficiency is its most fragile pillar in newly established rural madrasahs.

Abstract

Religious intolerance and character erosion among students continue to challenge Indonesia's pluralistic education system, raising the question of how home-based religiosity and school-based pedagogy may be aligned. This study examines how religious family environments contribute to the formation of moderate student character and how this contribution interfaces with religious moderation and the love-based curriculum (kurikulum berbasis cinta) recently advanced by the Ministry of Religious Affairs. An integrative literature review was conducted on 41 peer-reviewed publications (2019–2025) retrieved from Scopus, DOAJ, Sinta 1–3, and Google Scholar using Boolean strings combining religious family, character education, religious moderation, and love-based curriculum. Articles were screened against pre-registered inclusion criteria, appraised with the CASP qualitative checklist, and synthesised thematically following Braun and Clarke. Inter-coder agreement reached Cohen's κ = 0.86. Three themes emerged. First, daily ritual habituation and parental modelling explain 60–75% of the variance in religiosity, discipline, and pro-social conduct reported across reviewed studies. Second, moderation indicators tolerance, balance, justice appear earlier in children from religious homes than in those receiving moderation only at school, suggesting a sequencing effect. Third, the love-based curriculum extends learning into affective and social domains, but its measured impact is conditional on parental reinforcement and digital literacy. The findings indicate that family religiosity, classroom love-pedagogy, and digital-age literacy operate as a coupled system rather than as independent inputs. Educational policy that strengthens any single component without the others risks producing partial outcomes.

Abstract

Regulasi bahasa asing telah menjadi instrumen berulang di pesantren Indonesia yang berusaha membangun lingkungan linguistik yang imersif, namun implementasi tingkat lapangan sering menyimpang dari desain kebijakan. Penelitian ini mengkaji bagaimana aturan bahasa asing diberlakukan, diperebutkan, dan diadaptasi di Pondok Pesantren Tahfidzul Qur'an Alhusna di Kabupaten Bungo, di mana bahasa Arab dan Inggris bergantian setiap minggu di semua interaksi sehari-hari. Desain kualitatif deskriptif digunakan; Data diperoleh melalui observasi partisipatif selama 18 jam di dua siklus rotasi, tiga wawancara semi terstruktur (koordinator bahasa, pengawas asrama, Santri senior) masing-masing berlangsung selama 45-60 menit, dan analisis dokumen jadwal bahasa, buku catatan Mufradat, dan catatan pengawasan. Data dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles, Huberman, dan Saldaña dan ditriangulasi berdasarkan sumber, metode, dan keterlibatan yang berkepanjangan. Tiga temuan muncul. Pertama, implementasi bertumpu pada empat pilar operasional—rotasi mingguan, pembinaan intensif (mufradat, muhadatsah, muhadharah), pengawasan berlapis, dan sistem sanksi-imbalan. Kedua, lima kendala berulang berpotongan: kesenjangan leksikal, penghambatan psikologis, kepadatan jadwal (≈16 jam aktif/hari), media pendukung terbatas, dan kemahiran dasar yang heterogen. Ketiga, empat strategi adaptif menstabilkan regulasi: pendampingan pribadi humanistik, penyediaan sumber daya linguistik secara bertahap, target yang dibedakan di tiga tingkat kemahiran, dan integrasi kepatuhan bahasa ke dalam kelas akhlaq. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketahanan bi'ah lughawiyah kurang bergantung pada ketegasan regulasi daripada pada kemampuan beradaptasi manajerial, dukungan ekosistem, dan pendampingan humanistik yang mengkalibrasi ulang aturan ke heterogenitas peserta didik.
