Abstract

Bughat in the Perspective of the Al-Qur'an (Comparative Study of Tafsir Al-Azhar by Buya Hamka and Tafsir Al-Misbah by Quraish Shihab)" is the result of literature research aimed at answering various questions regarding the meaning of bughat in Al-Qur'an. Qur'an, how Buya Hamka and Quraish Shihab interpret bughat in the Qur'an, and what influence bughat has on aspects of people's lives. The data in this research uses qualitative research techniques, namely data is collected and quoted by analyzing the interpretive science approach. This approach uses a comparison method between two Mufassir, namely Buya Hamka and Quraish Shihab. The primary data source in this research is the verses of the Al-Qur'an using QS. Al-Hujurat verse 9 as the main object of study is supplemented with other verses in the Al-Qur'an. From this research we can conclude that, bughat is an act that exceeds the limits and is unjust carried out by individuals or groups or groups. The topic of this research is a very important topic to study because if it is not understood systematically it will be fatal and the seeds of violence against the state and religion will emerge. Furthermore, these two Mufassir gave an interpretation of the meaning of bughat which was not much different because the style of interpretation they used was adabi ijtima'i. Buya Hamka interprets bughat as someone who persecutes. Meanwhile, Quraish Shihab interprets bughat as an individual or group who goes beyond limits, violates the law and tries to seize power. The verses in the Qur'an when discussing bughat are not only about politics and power. However, there are also social, legal, cultural, economic problems and even all aspects. This proves that the scope of bughat is very broad and is closely related to aspects of life in society. So attention needs to be paid to prevent social conflicts like this from occurring in society.

Abstract

Abdullah Saeed introduced the concept of contextual findings, which he termed contextualization, by establishing a structured and systematic framework of values. This framework consists of four key steps: first, preliminary considerations; second, initiating completion; third, understanding the text's meaning; and fourth, connecting the text to the present context. In light of this, researchers delved into the awareness of contextualization, focusing on verses from the book Fathul Qulub, based on instructors in the IMM Sukoharjo cadre program. The purpose of this study was to discern a contextualized comprehension of the verses from the Fathul Qulub book within the IMM Sukoharjo cadre program. This research employed a qualitative approach, conducting field research. The participants were intermediate instructors within the IMM Sukoharjo cadre program, and the object of the study was to find verses in the Fathul Qulub book. The findings of the study revealed that instructors' interpretations of the Fathul Qulub book's verses did not align with Abdullah Saeed's contextual interpretation steps. Instead, instructors tended to directly proceed to the fourth step without completing the necessary preceding steps. This meant skipping the crucial step of linking the text's interpretation to the current context, specifically in terms of the cadre or organization. Even at this fourth step, the contextualization was not fully in line with Abdullah Saeed's theory.

Abstract

This study, titled "The Principal's Managerial Strategies in Strengthening Students' Character Education within the Context of Religious Moderation at SMA Negeri 1 Lima Puluh," is motivated by the strong sense of tolerance and harmony among different religious communities within the school environment, despite the limited support for the character education program. The study aims to describe the principal's strategies in planning, implementing, organizing, supervising, and evaluating character education with a focus on religious moderation. A qualitative approach with a descriptive method was employed, involving the principal, vice principals, and teachers as the main sources of information. The findings reveal that the planning strategy at SMA Negeri 1 Lima Puluh includes a vision, mission, character education focused on religious moderation, and collaboration between the principal and teachers. The organizational strategy applies a systematic approach involving annual planning to create an inclusive environment and ensure the program's relevance. Implementation is carried out in a structured and integrative manner, without specific strategies, yet remains aligned with the school’s vision and mission. Supervision and evaluation are conducted through regular meetings, scheduled evaluations, and disciplinary reporting, ensuring the effectiveness and sustainability of the character education program. This approach reflects a commitment to strengthening students' character holistically and sustainably, consistent with relevant managerial theories.

Abstract

The behavior of the Madyan people mentioned in the Qur'an reflects inappropriate behavior in trading. Imam al-Qurṭubī in his tafsir, al-Jāmī' li Aḥkām al-Qur'ān, mentioned that three things they did were mentioning untrue prices, hiding product defects, and cheating in weighing and measuring. This paper aims to analyze these three behaviors of traders at the Sidodadi market, Kleco. Through the interview method, there are three points that are able to be concluded. First, as many as 66% of Kleco market traders always explain the aspects of goods defects. Second, there are 68% of them consistently provide the same price to buyers. Third, there are 88% of them do not cheat in scales and measures. In general, it can be understood that the majority of Kleco market traders do not have trading behavior like the Madyan people

Abstract

Abstrak Tafsir nuansa Sufi berkembang hasil kejayaan khilafah Islam, sekitar abad 3 sampai 8 Hijriah. Pada saat itu Tafsir bil Ma’tsur menduduki kemapanan dan bergeser ke Tafsir Bil Ra’yi. Sehingga melahirkan Tafsir bercorak Sufi yang dikenal hari ini. Ciri khas dalam dunia sufi adalah kepuasan batin menjadi ukuran kesuksesan. Hamzah Fansuri populer sebagai sastrawan, ahli falsafah, Mantiq, Tasawuf dan Fiqh. Menguasai bahasa Arab, Urdu, Parsi dan bahasa jawa. Beliau merupakan seorang Ulama masa Kerajaan Aceh Darussalam Sultan Alaidin Riayatsyah IV (1589 -1604 M/ 997-1011 H). Beliau belum dikenal sebagai Mufassir Sufistik Al Qur’an. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menggali peninggalan karya-karya beliau, sehingga Penafsiran-penafsiran beliau dapat diteliti dengan penyajian yang holistik. Tujuan lain nya adalah menutupi kekosongan karya Hamzah Fansuri di bidang Tafsir sufi. Penelitian ini mengunakan Metode Filologi dan Metode Deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan studi pustaka yang meliputi Metode Heuristik (Penemuan Sumber), Verifikasi Sumber dan memberikan Intrepretasi terhadap sumber yang didapat. Hasil penelitian ini adalah ditemukan 15 ayat-ayat bertemakan Tauhid yang dijelaskan oleh hamzah fansuri dalam buah karya beliau Zinatul Muwahhidin semasa hidup.

Abstract

Abstrak Alquran adalah kitab Allah yang tidak diragukan isinya dari pemalsuan atau perubahan yang mungkin dilakukan oleh orang-orang jahil yang tidak bertanggung-jawab, karena Allah sendirilah yang senantiasa menjaga kemurnian dan kesuciannya. Sementara Tafsir sangat diperlukan karena setiap orang mengemukakan pikiran dengan cara menyampaikan   serangkaian   kalimat   yang   kadang-kadang   tidak   dapat dimengerti maksud dan tujuannya dengan jelas tanpa  disusul dengan kalimat-kalimat yang bersifat menjelaskan. Penafsiran al-Qur'an berperan untuk membantu manusia menangkap rahasia-rahasia  Allah  s.w.t  dan   alam   semesta,  baik  yang  tampak maupun yang tersembunyi.Al-Qur’an bagaikan lautan yang keajaiban-keajaibannya tidak pernah habis dan kecintaan kepadanya tidak pernah lapuk dari zaman, adalah sesuatu yang dapat dipahami jika terdapat ragam metode untuk menafsirkannya. Kitab-kitab tafsir yang ada sekarang merupakan indikasi kuat yang memperlihatkan perhatian para ulama untuk menjelaskan ungkapan-ungkapan Al-Qur’an dan menerjemah misi-misinya. Studi atas hasil karya penafsiran para ulama sekarang ini, secara umum, menunjukkan bahwa mereka menggunakan metode-metode penafsiran yang diantaranya adalah metode tahlili, ijmali, muqaran, dan metode maudhu’i. Sementara metode tafsir tahlili merupakan metode yang paling mampu menjelaskan isi Al-Quran secara terperinci, mengingat pentingnya metode ini untuk diketahui dan dipelajari oleh siapa saja yang hendak menafsirkan Al-Qur’an.Kata Kunci : Al-Qur’an. Tafsir, Tafsir Tahlili.

Abstract

The translation of the words Qalb and Fuād which is only limited to the heart does not get a complete concept. Qalb and Fuad have the meaning of heart in Indonesian there is a very important difference and should not be ignored. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the meanings of the words Qalb and Fuād in terms of the semantic field. This type of research is library research, because the data collection is based on the literature. The approach used in this study is a qualitative descriptive approach that is analytical. Research sources come from primary data and secondary data. Al-Qur'an study methods and interpretations were chosen according to the objectives and problems studied related to pre-existing substances. The data collection method used is document study, and learns from primary data sources and secondary data in the form of books, books, scientific articles and journals related to the theme of synonymy analysis of the terms qalb and fu'ad.The results showed that the meaning of the word Qalb or Qalbu in a physical sense can be interpreted as heart. While Fuad is the part of the heart that is related to makrifat. Fuād is the place of seeing and the part of the heart is knowledge. The relationship between the meanings of the words qalb and fu'ad in meaning through the semantic field, Qalb has the meaning of a soul dimension that has the ability to understand like 'aql. and also the word fu'ad which is taken from the word fā'idah (useful), because it can be seen that there are various kinds of love for Allah SWT, so that they get benefits from Him. Lafadz qalb and fu'ad have almost related meanings, qalb is focused on things that are immaterial and psychological, spiritual nature that is able to understand and determine the good and bad of a soul, As for fu'ad is called an honest heart (conscience). ) and is the potential of qalb, the place where a firm decision has been reached or something that has been bound, to be precise, fu'ad is a container of belief.

Abstract

Background: Character education is essential to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in shaping a principled and environmentally conscious generation. This study aims to describe the implementation of character education in biology lessons at SMA Negeri 20 Medan. Methodology: The method used is qualitative with a case study, involving biology teachers and 10th-grade students selected purposively. Data was collected through participant observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, then validated through triangulation of sources and methods. Findings: The results of the study indicate that character education is integrated through intraschool activities such as group prayers, laboratory experiments, discussions, and classroom cleanliness, and reinforced through extracurricular activities like Rohis. Teachers applied varied strategies, particularly Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL), effectively fostering students' environmental awareness. The impact of implementation was evident in changes in students' attitudes, such as becoming more disciplined, responsible, and environmentally conscious. Contribution: These findings align with previous research on the effectiveness of contextual learning but contribute new insights by emphasizing the integration of intraschool and extracurricular activities as a simultaneous model for character education
