Abstract

This study aims to examine the role educational planning in improving the effektiveness and quality of education in Madrasah Tsnawiyah. This study uses a qualitative approach. For information on this research data, the researchers took several sources of information from the Head of Madrasah at Mts Negeri Binjai. The results of the study indicate that the educational planning model applied in this madrasa is comprehensively in accordance with the educational regulations of the Ministry of Religious Education, Ministry of Religion. Then the effectiveness of the implementation of the educational planning model designed by the Madrasah Head at MTs Negeri Binjai can be seen by the achievement of the planned targets, as well as the running of the existing system, namely cooperation between each component both from the school and the committee in supporting the achievement of the educational goals set. has been planned. With the model and the effectiveness of the educational planning, it can be understood that the role of implementing the educational planning prepared by the Madrasah Head at MTs Negeri Binjai is oriented towards independent learning with a focus on 3 components of educational attainment that exist in students, namely cognitive, affective and psychomotor.

Abstract

In carrying out his role as a leader and manager of education, the principal must have good leadership and management skills for the realization of quality education and educational outcomes that are able to demonstrate the existence of the school institution he leads. This study aims to examine the principal's policy in improving the quality of student graduates at the Private Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTsS) Bina Taruna Medan. The research method used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach in order to determine the application of the principal's policies in improving the quality of graduates of the Madrasah Tsanawiyah Private (MTsS) Bina Taruna Medan students. Based on the results of the research, the form of the principal's policy at this madrasa in improving the quality of student graduates is to make every effort to improve education in accordance with the vision, mission and educational background of the madrasa, namely character education in schools. in accordance with Islamic values. With this form of policy in an effort to improve the quality of student graduate outcomes, it can be understood that the policies carried out by the Madrasah Head in an effort to improve the quality of student graduate outcomes at the Madrasah Tsanwiyah Swasta (MTsS) Bina Taruna Medan, are oriented towards strengthening character education with an educational background. Madrasas are Islamic education. Abstract

This study, titled "The Principal's Managerial Strategies in Strengthening Students' Character Education within the Context of Religious Moderation at SMA Negeri 1 Lima Puluh," is motivated by the strong sense of tolerance and harmony among different religious communities within the school environment, despite the limited support for the character education program. The study aims to describe the principal's strategies in planning, implementing, organizing, supervising, and evaluating character education with a focus on religious moderation. A qualitative approach with a descriptive method was employed, involving the principal, vice principals, and teachers as the main sources of information. The findings reveal that the planning strategy at SMA Negeri 1 Lima Puluh includes a vision, mission, character education focused on religious moderation, and collaboration between the principal and teachers. The organizational strategy applies a systematic approach involving annual planning to create an inclusive environment and ensure the program's relevance. Implementation is carried out in a structured and integrative manner, without specific strategies, yet remains aligned with the school’s vision and mission. Supervision and evaluation are conducted through regular meetings, scheduled evaluations, and disciplinary reporting, ensuring the effectiveness and sustainability of the character education program. This approach reflects a commitment to strengthening students' character holistically and sustainably, consistent with relevant managerial theories.

Abstract

Manajemen kinerja merupakan hal yang menjadi poin penting pada advantage competitive. karena untuk meningkatkan mutu dan daya saing harus didasari dengan pengaturan, prosedur dan pelaksanaan yang baik dan berkembang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui manajemen kinerja pada SD – IT Tahfizil Qur'an Yayasan Islamic Center Sumatera Utara ( YIC SU ). Hasil penelitian menunjukan manajemen kinerja yang dilakukan melewati 3 (tiga) tahapan yaitu, perencanaan kinerja, pembinaan kinerja, dan evaluasi kinerja. Pada perencanaan kinerja, dilakukan semua perencanaan program pendidikan dengan berdasarkan rumusan visi misi yang ada pada sekolah. Pada pembinaan kinerja, salah satu upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengadakan pembinaan adalah yang paling mendasar adalah dengan diadakannya penjaminan mutu untuk mengevaluasi kinerja yang ada. pada Evaluasi, adalah dengan melakukan evaluasi secara intensif yang dilakukan pada guru dan siswa secara kontiniu. Hasil manajemen kinerja yang didapat adalah sekolah menjadi sekolah yang terus diminati dimasyarakat dan para orang tua.

Abstract

Madrasah Diniyah Awaliyah (MDA) in Emplasmen Sidamanik Village emphasizes strengthening the values of Islamic education with a focus on children aged 7 years and over. These values, especially faith, are considered the basic philosophy of the educational approach in this village, requiring time and patience to cultivate. The Prophet made it mandatory to teach prayer to children aged 7 years, showing the importance of building a religious foundation from an early age. Even though at first a child's understanding may be mechanical, instilling these values from the start is considered crucial, because with repetition and reinforcement, these values will be digested later. The role of parents is very important in introducing, discussing and reinforcing these values at home, forming the child's moral foundation until the end of life. Children after learning at MDA experience cognitive, spiritual, social and emotional development which reflects the positive results of holistic and comprehensive learning methods, creating a generation that understands religion, has character and is able to apply Islamic teachings in everyday life.
