Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to find out: 1) how the certified teacher's perception of the objectives of the certification program; 2) what are the obstacles faced by certified post-certified teachers in SMA Negeri 2 Maumere; 3) how the performance of certified teachers in Maumere 2 Public High Schools is reviewed in terms of pedagogical competence, personal competence, social competence, and professional competence. The research used a quantitative descriptive approach. The data was obtained using observation, interview, documents and question form against 27 certified teachers in SMA Negeri 2 Maumere. The results showed that: 1) the certified teacher perceptions against objective certification program indicate that teachers perceive certification program and its goal has helped the certified teachers, in particular, an increase in well-being. The teacher argued that certification program designed by the Government in addition to the increase in prosperity as well as for the achievement of increased professionalism, this is demonstrated by the efforts of certified teachers in SMA Negeri 2 Maumere in improving professionalism; 2. The resistance experienced by a teacher after teaching load i.e. certified demands quarterly filings with securities, the delay in the disbursement of allowances and the mastery of science and technology; 3. certified teacher Performance Sman 2 Maumere is at a good category for performance indicators on the competency of the pedagogic competence, personality, social competence and the competence of professionals.Keywords: Performance, Teacher, Certified Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) bagaimana persepsi guru bersertifikasi terhadap tujuan program sertifikasi; 2) apa saja hambatan yang dihadapi guru bersertifikasi pasca sertifikasi di SMA Negeri 2 Maumere; 3) bagaimana kinerja guru bersertifikasi di SMA Negeri 2 Maumere ditinjau dari kompetensi pedagogik, kompetensi kepribadian, kompetensi sosial, dan kompetensi profesional. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif. Data yang diperoleh dari hasil observasi, wawancara, dokumen dan angket terhadap 27 guru bersertifikasi di SMA Negeri 2 Maumere. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Persepsi guru bersertifikasi terhadap tujuan program sertifikasi menunjukkan bahwa guru memandang program sertifikasi beserta tujuannya telah membantu para guru khususnya guru bersertifikasi dalam peningkatan kesejahteraan. Guru berpendapat bahwa program sertifikasi dirancang oleh pemerintah selain peningkatan kesejahteraan juga untuk tercapainya peningkatan profesionalisme, hal ini ditunjukkan dengan upaya guru bersertifikasi di SMA Negeri 2 Maumere di dalam meningkatkan profesionalismenya; 2) Hambatan yang dialami oleh guru setelah tersertifikasi yaitu beban mengajar, tuntutan pemberkasan per triwulan, keterlambatan pencairan tunjangan dan penguasaan IPTEK; 3) Kinerja guru bersertifikasi SMA Negeri 2 Maumere berada pada kategori baik untuk indikator kinerja pada kompetensi pedagogik, kompetensi kepribadian, kompetensi sosial dan kompetensi profesional.Kata kunci: Kinerja, Guru, Sertifikasi

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan handphone pada pembelajaran dan dampaknya terhadap kemampuan kognitif peserta didik SMK Negeri TKJ di Kabupaten Sikka. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif.Prosedur pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi.Informan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah delapan (8) informan yang terdiri dari tenaga pendidik dan peserta didik.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa pihak sekolah mengizinkan menggunakan handphone di sekolah sebagai media pembelajaran, namun dibawah pengawasan guru. Penggunaan handphone dalam proses belajar mengajar menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik sangat aktif dalam belajar, meningkatkan motivasi dan prestasi belajar. Tetapi ada dampak lain penggunaan handphone adalah mengurangi konsentrasi dan kemampuan kognitif peserta didik akibat dari penggunaan handphone secara berlebihan atau diluar instruksi dari tenaga pendidik

Abstract

This research aims to explore how to develop quartet cards as a learning media for algebra material integrated with the local wisdom of Magepanda. The problem addressed in this study is the difficulty students face in understanding the implementation of algebra concepts in everyday life, coupled with the low availability of supportive mathematics learning facilities in schools, which hinders the use of technology-based learning media. Therefore, this research seeks to address these issues by integrating algebra material into a quartet card game that includes information about Magepanda's local culture, allowing students to learn while playing anywhere and anytime, without relying on electricity and internet access. The methodology used in this research is a type of Research and Development (R&D) with the 4D model (Define, Design, Development, and Dissemination). In the Define stage, a needs assessment and identification of Magepanda's local wisdom relevant to algebra concepts were conducted. The Design stage involved the initial design of the quartet cards, incorporating relevant local wisdom elements. The Development stage included the creation of a prototype of the quartet cards, validation of the content by experts, and revisions based on feedback. The Dissemination stage involved sharing the results with local mathematics teachers for further implementation. The research findings received positive reactions from users of the learning media, with product validation results classified as Highly Feasible. By playing the developed quartet cards, students became more enthusiastic about learning algebra and were able to relate the material to the context of their daily lives.

Abstract

Kampung Garam Kelurahan Kota Uneng memiliki kawasan Hutan Mangrove sekitar 22,60 Ha. Kepiting Bakau merupakan spesies kunci dalam ekosistem bakau dan keberadaannya dapat memberikan efek menguntungkan pada jenis biota perairan.. Terdapat 4 spesies kepiting bakau yang ditemukan di Indonesia yaitu Scylla serrata, Scylla olivacea, Scylla tranquebarica dan Scylla paramamosain..Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelimpahan keanekaragaman kepiting bakau (Scylla spp) apa saja yang ada di Kawasan Hutan Mangrove, Kampung Garam, Kelurahan Kota Uneng. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik survey. Penentuan lokasi dan stasiun pengambilan data dilakukan dengan metode   purposive sampling dengan pembuatan transek. Lokasi sampling dibagi atas 2 stasiun dengan jarak 150 m2, masing-masing stasiun dibuat 3 transek ukuran 10x10 m dengan jarak 25 m masing-masing transek, setiap transek terdiri dari 4 plot dan masing-masing plot berukuran 5x5 m. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat tangka bubu, untuk pemasangan (setting) bubu dilakukan pada sore hari pukul 14:00 WIB dan pengangkatan (hauling) bubu dilakukan pada pukul 17:00 WIB. Data yang dihasilkan dihitung menggunakan rumus Shannon winner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat keanekaragaman (H) dengan nilai 1,16 , dan dominasi (C) tertinggi dengan nilai 0,37 berada pada stasiun 1, berbeda halnya dengan tingkat kemerataan (E) tertinggi dengan nilai 0,04 berada pada stasiun 2 sedangkan tingkat keanekaragaman (H) dengan nilai 1,11 ,dan dominasi (C) terendah dengan nilai 0,09. Parameter lingkungan pH, Suhu dan Salinitas pada kedua stasiun  memiliki kadar baik dengan kisaran kisaran pH 7,3 – 7,7 , Suhu 30 – 32 °C  dan Salinitas 14 – 20 ppt.

Abstract

The integration of interdisciplinary knowledge in science learning provides students with opportunities to understand the connections between various scientific concepts and other disciplines. This study aims to describe teachers’ understanding of interdisciplinary knowledge integration in science learning and their ability to implement this approach at MTs Muhammadiyah Wuring. This study adopts a qualitative approach using a case study design, with data gathered through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results show that science teachers have made efforts to incorporate multiple disciplines into their lessons, such as connecting the biology topic of the nervous system with physics and chemistry, as well as relating electrical concepts to religious studies. However, challenges such as limited teacher knowledge in other disciplines, insufficient planning time, and a lack of professional training hinder effective interdisciplinary learning implementation. To address these challenges, collaboration among teachers from different academic backgrounds and the application of problem-based learning (PBL) have proven effective in enhancing students’ comprehension and critical thinking skills. Therefore, providing professional training and designing a more flexible curriculum are essential to optimizing interdisciplinary-based integrated science learning.

Abstract

This investigation seeks to ascertain the relationship between components within the educational environment and the learning outcomes of 11th-grade learners at MAS Muhammadiyah Nangahure, a pursuit stemming from the impediments encountered by a number of pupils during the learning process, which are attributable to an inadequate learning setting. According to preliminary observations, the institution's topographical placement is alongside a main route that is heavily utilized by the surrounding population, causes a high intensity of disturbances from vehicle traffic, often disrupting students' concentration in the classroom. In addition, the presence of public facilities such as a soccer field near the school and the habit of the local community playing loud music also serve as external disturbances that affect students' concentration. This research applies a quantitative approach. The total number of participants for this investigation amounts to 63 individuals, of which 21 are XI grade learners, 21 parents or guardians of the students, and 21 members of the community around the school. Collection the information in this study was collected using questionnaires and documentation of odd semester report card grades for the 2024/2025 academic year. To ascertain the instruments' precision and stability, validation and dependability tests were carried out. The data gathered thereafter was analyzed through the application of multiple linear regression methods. The research outcomes reveal that on a simultaneous basis, the elements of the educational environment exert a significant effect on the learners' academic achievement (p 0.001), yielding a coefficient of determination of 61.1%. Partially, the school and societal settings demonstrate a significant bearing, whereas the domestic setting lacks a significant effect. These outcomes underscore the critical need for establishing a supportive learning environment, especially from the aspects of school and surrounding community, to optimally support students' academic achievements.
