Abstract

Media pembelajaran merupakan sarana yang esensial dalam proses komunikasi, dimana peranannya untuk menyampaikan pesan dan materi yang diolah oleh pengirim pesan kepada penerima pesan. Dalam kacamata pendidikan, media berfungsi sebagai sarana penjelas dan pembantu untuk memahami materi yang disampaikan dalam proses interaksi dan komunikasi yang terjadi dalam pembelajaran. Media bisa berbentuk audio, visual, maupun audiovisual, dimana penggunaannya disesuaikan dengan tingkat kebutuhan pada pembelajar, juga tingkat psikologi belajar pada usia mereka. Urgensitasnya perlu mendapatkan perhatian yang serius di lingkup pendidikan agama Islam, dimana dalam pendidikan agama Islam sering terjadi proses pembelajaran klasikal (konvensional), tanpa ditemukannya media yang tepat dan inovatif. Padahal spirit penggunaan media telah dicontohkan oleh Rasulullah SAW. Ketika proses dakwah beliau dan penanaman nilai – nilai agama Islam. Bahkan Al Qur’an dalam ayat – ayat-Nya menganjurkan untuk memilih media yang sesuai guna mencapai tujuan dalam segala aspek kehidupan, termasuk dalam hal pendidikan. Pemakaian media yang tepat dan inovatif akan menciptakan minat belajar siswa, menyambungkan pesan secara emosional, meningkatkan daya ingat, dan semua itu merupakan kondisi psikologis pembelajar yang sudah semestinya menjadi fokus perhatian setiap pendidik. Karena pembelajar adalah tolak ukur keberhasilan suatu proses pembelajaran secara komprehensif. Kata Kunci : Media, Pembelajaran Agama, Penanaman Nilai

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of response, the level of motivation,student learning outcomes and learning process using Problem Based Learningon learning mathematics. This research is descriptive research where there isno manipulation only to describe and to analyze the data obtained. Thisresearch uses quantitative research methods with the subjects of the studywhich amounted to 33 people. Data collection techniques used includequestionnaires, observations, interviews and tests. Data analysis used in thisresearch is qualitative analysis technique and quantitative analysis. The resultof the research indicates that the students response level to Problem BasedLearning is high with the percentage of achievement of 72.02% and thestudents' motivation level with the percentage of achievement of 70.05%.Student learning outcomes obtained using Problem Based Learning are quitesatisfactory. With the percentage of achievement level reached 75.75%. Withthe Minimum Exhaustiveness Criteria (KKM) score at the school is 75, so thatall students meet the given KKM.

Abstract

This study aims to effect of the TGT learning model on student’s creativity and comprehension of concepts in mathematics learning. This study used quasi-experimental research. The population in this study were 256 students of class VIII SMP YPPSB. The research sample was obtained in class VIII-H of 32 students as the experimental class and class VIII-D with total of the students were 31 students as the control class. The test used to analyze the research data was the Independent Sample T-test on the posttest results. The results of the study showed that creativity and comprehension of concepts using the TGT learning model was better than the class that used conventional learning. The average creativity used the TGT learning model tcount = 4.080 and the average comprehension of the concept of tcount = 11.012 with ttable = 2.00 which means tcount> ttable. Thus, the TGT type learning model has a significant influence on student’s creativity and comprehension of concepts in mathematics learning.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to analyze the pedagogical competence of certified biology teachers in Sikka Regency. The method used is a descriptive quantitative method. Data collection techniques are the distribution of questionnaires and interviews. The study was conducted on certified high school Biology teachers in Sikka District. The results showed that certified Biology teachers in Sikka District had excellent pedagogical potential based on the overall average value of each teacher's core competencies, especially in aspects of mastering students' characteristics from physical, moral, spiritual, social aspects, cultural, emotional, and intellectual (4.22), develop curriculum related to the subjects (4.49), conduct assessment and evaluation of learning processes and outcomes (4.43) and utilize the results of assessment and evaluation for the benefit of learning ( 4.51). Specifically on the aspect of carrying out reflective actions to improve the quality of learning is still not good or sufficient (3.32) this is because Biology teachers have never conducted research (CAR) due to limited time and thought.Keywords: Pedagogic competence, Teacher, Biology, Certification Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kompetensi pedagogik guru biologi bersertifikasi di Kabupaten Sikka. Metode yang digunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif. Teknik mengumpulkan data adalah penyebaran kuesioner dan wawancara. Penelitian dilakukan pada guru Biologi SMA bersertifikasi di Kabupaten Sikka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru Biologi bersertifikasi di Kabupaten Sikka memiliki kompotensipedagogik yang sangat baik berdasarkan nilai rata-rata keseluruhan dari masing-masing kompetensi inti guru, terutama pada aspek-aspek: menguasai karakteristik peserta didik dari aspek fisik, moral, spiritual, sosial, kultural, emosional, dan intelektual (4,22), mengembangkan kurikulum yang terkait dengan mata pelajaran yang diampu (4,49),  menyelenggarakan penilaian dan evaluasi proses dan hasil belajar (4,43) dan memanfaatkan hasil penilaian dan evaluasi untuk kepentingan pembelajaran (4,51). Khusus pada aspek melakukan tindakan reflektif untuk peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran masih kurang baik atau cukup (3,32) hal ini dikarekan guru Biologi belum pernah melakukan penelitian (PTK) dikarenakan keterbatasan waktu dan pikiran.Kata kunci: Kompetensi pedagogik, Guru, Biologi, Sertifikasi

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the extent of the use of the Snowball Throwing learning model in the learning process so that students are more active and bolder in expressing ideas about English speaking skills by grammatical structures. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Sources of data were obtained from students of class XI IPS 2 and teachers of English subjects. Data collection through observation, interviews, and documents. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the Snowball Throwing learning model has a positive impact on teachers and students in the learning process, whereby using the Snow Ball Throwing model students are more creative, brave, and active in expressing opinions properly according to grammar, thus motivating students to obtain optimal results for improving teacher competency in using the right methods in the learning process.Keywords: Learning model, Snowball Throwing, Speaking English Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana penggunaan model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing dalam proses pembelajaran agar siswa lebih aktif dan lebih berani dalam mengungkapkan gagasan dalam kaitannya dengan keterampilan berbicara bahasa Inggris sesuai dengan struktur tata bahasa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data diperoleh dari siswa kelas XI IPS 2 dan guru mata pelajaran bahasa Inggris. Pengumpulan data melalui pengamatan, wawancara, dan dokumen. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing memberikan dampak yang positif bagi guru dan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran, dimana dengan menggunakan model Snow Ball Throwing siswa lebih kreatif, berani, dan aktif dalam mengungkapkan pendapat dengan benar sesuai dengan tata bahasa, sehingga memotivasi siswa untuk memperoleh hasil yang optimal untuk peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam menggunakan metode–metode yang tepat dalam proses pembelajaran.Kata kunci: Model pembelajaran, Snowball Throwing, Berbicara Bahasa Inggris

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to determine: 1) The application of a 24-hour face-to-face policy on the profession for high school teachers; 2) The impact of the implementation of the 24-hour face-to-face policy on the performance of high school teachers in Sikka Regency; 3) The impact on high school teachers whose number of hours does not meet the 24-hour face-to-face criteria. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data obtained from observations, and interviews with the head of the Sikka Regency PPO Office, the Chairperson of the Sikka Regency PGRI, 5 supervisors of high school subjects, 12 high school principals, and 24 certified teachers and 36 non-certified teachers. Technical analysis of data using data reduction, data presentation, conclusions, and data validity. The results of this study indicate that: 1) The impact of the implementation of 24-hour face-to-face teachers has an impact on the decline in teacher professionalism; 2) The impact of the implementation of the 24-hour face-to-face policy on teacher performance does not make an increase in teacher performance; 3) The impact of applying to non-certified teachers who have not met 24-hour face-to-face raises social jealousy towards certified teachers and many of the non-certification teachers must find other schools to meet 24-hour face to face.Keywords: Policy, Teacher, 24 Hours Face to Face Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) Penerapan kebijakan 24 jam tatap muka terhadap profesi bagi guru-guru SMA; 2) Dampak penerapan kebijakan 24 jam tatap muka terhadap kinerja guru SMA di Kabupaten Sikka; 3) Dampak bagi guru SMA yang jumlah jamnya tidak memenuhi kriteria 24 jam tatap muka. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data yang diperoleh dari hasil observasi, dan wawancara terhadap kepala Dinas PPO Kabupaten Sikka, Ketua PGRI Kabupaten Sikka, 5 orang pengawas Mata Pelajaran SMA, 12 Kepala Sekolah SMA, dan 24 guru bersertifikasi dan 36 guru non sertifikasi. Teknis analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, kesimpulan, dan keabsahan data.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Dampak penerapan 24 jam tatap muka terhadap guru ternyata berdampak pada penurunan profesionalisme guru; 2) Dampak penerapan kebijakan 24 jam tatap muka terhadap kinerja guru tidak membuat adanya peningkatan kinerja guru; 3) Dampak penerapan terhadap guru non-sertifikasi yang belum memenuhi 24 jam tatap muka memunculkan kecemburuan sosial terhadap guru bersertifikasi dan banyak dari guru non-sertifikasi harus mencari sekolah lain untuk memenuhi 24 jam tatap muka.Kata kunci: Kebijakan, Guru, 24 Jam Tatap Muka

Abstract

Abstract: The students 'reading ability is low, it certainly affects the students' writing ability. Implementation of the School Literacy Movement is a solution to students' low reading ability. This study aims to describe the pattern of Implementation of School Literacy Movement that took place in SMP Negeri 5 Malang. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type that describes the School Literacy Movement in SMP Negeri 5 Malang. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the pattern of implementation of school literacy measures in SMP Negeri 5 Malang included: 1) The habituation phase was carried out by way of students bringing reading books from home or borrowing books to the library. At this stage a class reading corner was prepared, reading 15 minutes before learning began, and a literacy journal; 2) The Development and Learning Phase increases the school resources especially at the State Junior High School 5 Malang, namely the existence of a reading corner in each class, an increase in the number of books, a 30-minute reading club, and a product of the School Literacy Movement.Keywords: School Literacy Movement, Habituation Phase, Development Phase, LearningAbstrak: Kemampuan membaca peserta didik tergolong rendah pasti berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan menulis peserta didik. Implementasi Gerakan Literasi Sekolah menjadi solusi atas kemampuan membaca siswa yang rendah.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pola Implementasi Gerakan Literasi Sekolah yang berlangsung di SMP Negeri 5 Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif yang mendeksripsikan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah di SMP Negeri 5 Malang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pola implementasi geakan literasi sekolah di SMP Negeri 5 Malang meliputi: 1) Tahap Pembiasaan dilaksanakan dengan cara peserta didik membawa buku bacaan dari rumah atau meminjam buku ke perpustakaan. Pada tahap ini sudah disiapkan pojok baca kelas, membaca 15 menit sebelum pembelajaran dimulai, dan jurnal literas; 2) Tahap Pengembangan dan Pembelajaran meningkatkan sumber daya sekolah khusnya di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 5 Malang yaitu adanya pojok baca di masing-masing kelas, penambahan jumlah buku, adanya club baca 30 menit, dan hasil produk Gerakan Literasi Sekolah.Kata Kunci: Gerakan Literasi Sekolah, Tahap Pembiasaan, Tahap Pengembangan,  Pembelajaran

Abstract

The aim of this research is as an effort students? perspective on mathematics and the preservation of traditional Indonesian games. As for the background of this writing, because Indonesia is a country that has a diversity of cultures, one of them is traditional games. The current of globalization in Indonesia has the effect of threatening extinction towards various traditional Indonesian games. On other hand, the problem is the majority of students consider mathematics learning is difficult and unpleasant lesson. This research takes one of the traditional Indonesian games namely patil lele to be implicated in mathematics learning. This research used descriptive qualitative research with the aim of describing, explaining, and interpreting the implementation of traditional game patil lele as ethnomatematics qualitatively using observation, documentation, and filling questionnaires and tests. The results showed that the use of patil lele games introduce students to traditional games, foster social attitudes, collaborate with students, and help students understand the concept of distance between points. After applying traditional patil lele games, students can get to know the game. By introducing this game, students can love their own culture that is Indonesian culture with their participation in preserving traditional patil lele games. The application of traditional patil lele games can reduce the abstractness of mathematics by visualizing the material of distance between points through the game. Thus, the implementation can provide a good image of mathematics subjects students? perspective

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the implementation of disciplinary policies of students in SMK Negeri 1 Maumere; 2) what obstacles are faced by SMK Negeri 1 Maumere in implementing disciplinary policies; 3) what efforts have been made to overcome problems or obstacles in the implementation of discipline. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive research method. to be informants in this study are 1) Tatib Team Coordinator, 2) BK Teachers. Data collection in this study uses the following methods: 1) interview 2) Observation, 3) Documentation. This study uses the analysis method and the Moles and Huberman (1994) model with the stages of data reduction, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. Testing the data in this study uses a participation extension technique which means a single researcher in the field until the saturation of data collection is achieved. The results of this study indicate (1) The implementation of student disciplinary policies at SMK Negeri 1 Maumere meets the standards that have been formulated by the Tatib team. (2) The obstacles that become obstacles in the implementation of disciplinary policies of students in SMK Negeri 1 Maumere are 1) from the students, 2) lack of support from parents, 3) from the school which consists of administration that has not been neatly arranged and lack of support from the teacher.Keywords: Policy implementation, Discipline, Students Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi kebijakan kedisiplinan peserta didik di SMK Negeri 1 Maumere; 2) kendala apa saja yang dihadapi SMK Negeri 1 Maumere dalam melaksanakan kebijakan kedisiplinan; 3) upaya-upaya apa saja yang sudah dilakukan untuk mengatasi masalah atau kendala dalam pelaksanaan kedisiplinan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian deskritif kualitatif. menjadi imforman dalam penelitian ini adalah 1) Koordinator Tim Tatib, 2) Guru BK. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode 1) wawancara 2) Observasi, 3) Dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis dan model Moles and Huberman (1994) dengan tahapan reduksi data, menyajikan data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Pengujian data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik perpanjangan keikutsertaan yang berarti peneliti tunggal di lapangan sampai kejenuhan pengumpulan data tercapai. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan (1) Implementasi kebijakan kedisiplinan peserta didik di SMK Negeri 1 Maumere pada dasarnya sudah memenuhi standar yang telah dirumuskan oleh tim tatib. (2) Kendala-kendala yang menjadi hambatan dalam pelaksanaan kebijakan kedisiplinan peserta didik di SMK Negeri 1 Maumere adalah 1) dari pihak peserta didik, 2) kurang adanya dukungan dari orangtua, 3) dari pihak sekolah yang terdiri dari administrasi yang belum tertata rapi dan kurang adanya dukungan dari guru.Kata kunci: Implementasi kebijakan, Kedisiplinan, Peserta didik

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe 1) the implementation of full-day school policies conducted at SDN 3 Blimbing; 2) problems faced by SDN 3 Blimbing in implementing full-day school; 3) the solutions made in solving the problem of implementing full-day school policies in SDN 3 Blimbing. The research method used is a qualitative approach with the type of research is descriptive. Data obtained through interviews, observation, and study documentation. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the full-day school policy has been based on the Character Strengthening Policy made by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Indonesia. The aim of a full-day school implemented at SDN 3 Blimbing Malang is that students have the character set by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Indonesia. Problems that arise during the implementation of full-day school among other facilities and infrastructures that are inadequate, the adaptation of teachers, employees, and students that require a relatively long time, concerns parents of students towards their children who sit in grades 1 and 2 and adjusting school schedules and student activities outside of school that have been previously scheduled. The solution carried out by the school with existing problems is to always socialize student activities in full-day school policy, provide dispensation for students who have scheduled activities outside of school that has been previously scheduled, conduct weekly evaluations and hold collaboration with institutions that can support full-day school activities in the school.Keywords: Policy Implementation, Full Day School, Elementary School Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan 1) implementasi kebijakan full day school yang dilakukan di SDN 3 Blimbing; 2) permasalahan yang dihadapi SDN 3 Blimbing dalam mengimplementasikan full day school; 3) solusi yang dilakukan dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan implementasi kebijakan full day school di SDN 3 Blimbing. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian adalah deskriptif. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi kebijakan full day school telah dilakukan dilandaskan pada Kebijakan Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter yang dibuat oleh Kementrian Pendidikan Republik Indonesia. Tujuan full day school yang diterapkan di SDN 3 Blimbing Kota Malang adalah supaya siswa-siswa mempunyai karakter yang telah ditetapkan oleh Kementrian Pendidikan Republik Indonesia. Permasalahan yang muncul selama implementasi full day school antra lain sarana dan prasana yang belum memadai, adaptasi guru-guru, karyawan, dan siswa-siswa yang membutuhkan waktu yang relatif lama, kekhawatiran orang tua siswa terhadap anak-anaknya yang duduk di kelas 1 dan 2 dan penyesuaian jadwal sekolah dan kegiatan siswa diluar sekolah yang telah terjadwal sebelumnya. Solusi yang dilakukan oleh pihak sekolah dengan permasalahan yang ada adalah dengan selalu mensosialisakan kegiata-kegiatan siswa dalam kebijakan full day school, memberikan dispensasi terhadap siswa yang ada jadwal kegiatan diluar sekolah yang telah terjadwal sebelumnya, melakukan evaluasi mingguan dan mengadakan kerja sama dengan lembaga yang bisa mendukung kegiatan-kegiatan full day school yang ada di sekolah.Kata kunci: Implementasi Kebijakan, Full Day School, Sekolah Dasar
