Abstract

The purpose of the study was to analyze the role of mothers in children’s education in the novel Layangan Putus from an Islamic education perspective.  In the novel, Mother has five children: Amir, Arya, Alman, Abi, and Ahmad.  Ahmad died when he was born to his mother.  So child care focuses on their four children.  In educating children, mothers experience a change in status from wife to widow.  Education for children that were previously carried out with the father, according to the results of the divorce court decision, that custody rests with the mother.  Therefore, researchers want to know the role of the mother in educating children from an Islamic education perspective.  This type of research is library research.  Data collection is done by doing repeated readings and documentation.  Analysis of the data used is content and comparative analysis.  The results showed that (1) the mother continued to practice her nature as an educator even though she worked as a veterinarian, and (2) the mother was responsible for faith education, moral education, physical education, academic education, mental education, and children’s social education.

Abstract

Religious moderation, defined as a balanced approach in practicing religion by avoiding extremism in the form of radicalism or liberalism, is crucial for maintaining social harmony in diverse societies. The family, as the first educational institution, holds a strategic role in instilling the values of religious moderation in children from an early age. This study aims to examine the influence of the family's role in managing religious moderation education for children in West Sipatana. A quantitative method with a simple regression analysis approach was employed to measure the extent of the family's impact on religious moderation education. Field findings reveal that the family contributes 75% to shaping children's attitudes toward religious moderation. These findings indicate that active family involvement in children's religious education, such as teaching respect for differing beliefs and fostering constructive dialogue, significantly influences the development of tolerant and inclusive moderate attitudes in children. This research underscores the vital role of families as primary actors in supporting religious moderation education in society.

Abstract

The neo-Salafi movement Wahdah Islamiyah plays a significant role in shaping the religious identity of the urban Muslim middle class in South Sulawesi and Gorontalo. This research aims to review how Wahdah Islamiyah influences urban Muslim communities, leading to a high interest in religious studies and community education organized by this religious organization. The research method used is field research. This method was chosen because the researcher intends to gain clarity on a local and current event under study. This research concludes that Wahdah Islamiyah successfully manages its organization (framing) as a social movement to enhance its appeal to the public. Wahdah Islamiyah bridges or mediates the views between conservative-traditionalist Salafis and a more modern, open organizational management concept similar to Muhammadiyah. Wahdah Islamiyah adopts an organizational development concept through modern education by establishing Islamic schools, universities, social care institutions, and philanthropic organizations. The success of Wahdah Islamiyah’s framing gives the impression of an Islamic organization relatively open to modernity, yet still rooted in puritanical Islamic values like the Salafis, especially regarding fundamental religious issues such as aqidah (creed) and sharia (Islamic law). This religious model has proven to attract the Muslim middle class in South Sulawesi and Gorontalo.

Abstract

Pendidikan Nahdlatul Ulama dibangun dalam prinsip menjaga kemurnian Islam dengan mempertahankan nilai-nilai tradisionalnya. Hal ini penting untuk memastikan bahwa ajaran/ dogma yang yakini masih sesuai dengan nilai originalitasnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan peran penting pendidikan Nahdlatul Ulama mempertahankan identitasnya dan sekaligus berupaya menyesuaikan diri dengan tantangan zaman yang melingkupinya. Penelitian ini mengunakan pendekatan studi Pustaka (library research), dengan cara melibatkan sumber-sumber rujukan yang relevan dengan tema penelitian ini, serta berupaya mensintesiskannya sehingga melahirkan paradigma baru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan Nahdlatul Ulama melakukan upaya pembaharuan secara evolutif dengan cara melakukan pembahruan pada hal-hal yang dipandang tidak relevan lagi dengan kebutuhan zaman, sementara pada sisi yang lain tetap mempertahankan yang dipandang masih relavan. Pembaharuan secara evolutif juga dipandang dapat mendekatkan nilai-nilai keislaman dengan fakta-fakta lokal (kearifan lokal), sehingga nilai-nilai keIslaman menjadi lebih universal dan familiar

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mengkaji Implementasi Integrasi Pembelajaran   al-Qur’an Hadis dan Program Unggulan   Tahsin  Tahfidz Peserta Didik di MTs Darul Mubin Kota Gorontalo. Untuk mengetahui dan mengkaji kendala dan solusi Implementasi Integrasi Pembelajaran al-Qur’an Hadis dan Program Unggulan   Tahsin  Tahfidz Peserta Didik di MTs Darul Mubin Kota Gorontalo.  Sedangkan metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan taknik pengumpulan data yaitu, wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi, dengan tahapan pengumpulan data melaui prosedur reduksi, penyajian serta penarikan kesimpulan. Dengan menggunakan teknik cuplikan yang bersifat selektif (purpostif sampling) dalam hal ini peneliti akan memilih informan yang dipandang paling tahu, sehingga kemungkinan pilihan informan dapat berkembang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan kemantapan peneliti dalam memperoleh data. Dalam penelitian ini  hasil yang diperoleh mengenai pembahasan tentang Integrasi Pembelajaran Alqur’an Hadis dan Program Unggulan Tahsin Tahfidz Di MTs Darul Mubin Kota Gorontalo, di mana program unggulan ini dilaksanakan selain sebagai upaya dalam meningkatkan dan mempertahankan status akreditasi unggul (A) yang sudah diraih oleh MTs Darul Mubin ini dua kali berturut-turut, juga dalam rangka menjaga dan meningkatkan kualitas  ouput lulusan nya, sehingga para peseta didik yang melaksanakan pembelajaran di MTs ini nantinya mereka menjadi generasi unggul, generasi muslim yang kompetitif memiliki kompetensi kognitif, afektif dan psikomotik yang handal, para tenaga pendidik sudah secara maksimal dalam memberikan pembimbingan  dalam pelaksanaan program  unggulan Tahsin dan Tahfidz samapai pada pemberian evaluasi dan menilai terhadap para peserta didiknya yang dimasukkan pada kolom program ekstra kurikuler untuk dimasukkan pada nilai Raport Digital Madrasah (RDM)

Abstract

This study aims to critically describe the glory of women behind the narrative of masculine superiority in the Qur’an. The material object of this research is the result of ‘Abbas Mahmud al-‘Aqqad’s interpretation in the book al-Mar’ah fi al-Qur’an. Broadly speaking, the book outlines the solution to the problems faced by women in the laws contained in the Qur’an. This type of research is library research. Using qualitative methods, the author collects data from various literature. Data sources include two types, namely primary sources and secondary sources. The primary source of data is the book al-Mar’ah fi al-Qur’an by ‘Abbas Mahmud al-‘Aqqad. Secondary data sources, namely various kinds of literature from books and journals related to the object of discussion. The results of the study show that by using the interpretation model of the maudhu’i (thematic) method, al-‘Aqqad explains the problem of the superiority of men over women based on three interrelated verses. Namely: QS al-Baqarah/2: 228, QS al-Nisa’/4: 32, and QS al-Nisa’/4: 34. He then analyzed the verse by facing it with the reality that occurred in the midst of society as evidence of the concept he carried out in order to create the benefit of mankind. For al-‘Aqqad, the narrative of the verses of the Qur’an that hint at the superiority of men over women contains the wisdom that it is a gesture to glorify the woman herself.

Abstract

Fisika adalah cabang ilmu yang mempelajari fenomena-fenomena alam baik kecil maupun besar. Fenomena alam juga dibahas di dalam Al-Quran. Al-Quran dan fisika memiliki hubungan yang sangat erat dan tidak terputus. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk memahami pendidikan fisika dalam Al-Quran, mengetahui integrasi Islam dengan pendidikan fisika dan memahami hukum-hukum Al-Quran dengan pendidikan fisika. Metode penelitian ini adalah kajian literatur dengan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seseorang yang berkonsentrasi pada ilmu fisika bermakna bahwa dia akan menyadari dan memahami kekhasan alam semesta, mengkaji dan memanfaatkannya secara pasti untuk kehidupan sekarang dan yang akan datang. Penggabungan Al-Quran ke dalam pembelajaran fisika merupakan metode alternatif untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan nasional sekaligus menumbuhkan sikap spiritual dan kognitif siswa terhadap pembelajaran fisika.
