Abstract

Baggage control is a critical process in airport operations to ensure the efficient handling and tracking of passenger luggage. The engineering of baggage control at the departure department check-in counter involves the design and implementation of various components and systems. These include baggage conveyor belts, baggage scanning and screening systems, baggage handling software, and integration with airline and airport systems. The baggage conveyor system is a crucial component that transports checked-in luggage from the check-in counter to the sorting area. It consists of a network of belts, rollers, and automated diverters to route the bags to the appropriate destinations. The engineering design of the conveyor system ensures smooth and efficient movement of baggage, minimizing the risk of jams or delays. In conclusion, the engineering of baggage control at the departure department check-in counter of Terminal 2 at Soekarno-Hatta Cengkareng International Airport involves the design, implementation and integration of various systems, technologies and procedures. These engineering efforts aim to ensure the efficient and secure handling of passenger luggage, enhancing the overall airport experience for travelers

Abstract

This research aims to describe the challenges of implementing the values of Pancasila in moral education in the post-truth era, a time when the flow of disinformation and information polarization is rapidly growing and influencing the mindset of the younger generation. This study employs a literature review method by gathering data from various sources such as scientific journals, books, and relevant articles. The analysis technique used is content analysis, which allows researchers to systematically and deeply elucidate the meaning of the texts. The analysis shows that the values of Pancasila need to be conveyed through a more dialogical, reflective, and adaptive approach to the social dynamics that occur. In this case, teachers play an important role as critical learning facilitators that encourage students' active involvement in understanding and internalising these values. Participatory learning allows students to develop critical thinking skills, media literacy, and stronger national awareness. This research concludes that strengthening students' national identity and moral character in the post-truth era relies heavily on pedagogical innovations that are rooted in Pancasila values but responsive to the challenges of the times

Abstract

Chiller merupakan alat yang digunakan untuk pengkondisian udara di Bandara, dengan peran penting dalam menyejukkan ruangan bagi penumpang, pengunjung, dan pegawai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kerusakan pada motor fan kondensor menggunakan metode observasi serta menganalisis dampaknya terhadap kinerja chiller di Bandara Internasional Hang Nadim Batam. Dalam pemeriksaan visual, penulis menemukan alarm motor current overload pada Chiller 4 sistem 2. Metode observasi diterapkan untuk mendeteksi tanda-tanda kerusakan dan penurunan performa pada motor fan kondensor. Data yang dikumpulkan meliputi pengamatan visual, analisis getaran, dan pengukuran suhu serta tekanan sistem. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kerusakan pada motor fan kondensor dapat mengakibatkan penurunan efisiensi chiller, peningkatan konsumsi energi, dan potensi kerusakan lebih lanjut pada komponen lainnya. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya pemeliharaan rutin dan inspeksi berkala untuk memastikan kinerja optimal dari sistem chiller, serta memberikan rekomendasi praktis untuk mitigasi dan perbaikan kerusakan pada motor fan kondensor

Abstract

The trend of using air conditioners, air conditioners or called AC (Air Conditioner) is increasing in the community both in offices and in housing. To keep its performance, air conditioning should be maintained regularly according to the intensity procedure. Hence, the air conditioner can stabilize the air temperature and humidity of the area in accordance with its specification. As the demand for maintenance is growing, the opportunity to become an AC technician is also increasing. Carrying out basic training in AC maintenance can assist people who are interested to become AC technicians. Training participants are expected to gain knowledge of AC installation, AC components and working principles, AC maintenance, and safety standard.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menguji interaksi antara Pancasila dan Islam di Indonesia, fokus pada cara nilai-nilai Islam dapat diintegrasikan dalam kerangka Pancasila tanpa mengorbankan prinsip-prinsip negara. Penelitian ini juga mengeksplorasi konsep konvergensi dan divergensi antara keduanya serta isu-isu terkait. Melalui studi literatur, hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa interaksi antara Pancasila dan Islam berperan penting dalam membentuk kehidupan masyarakat Indonesia yang beragam. Meskipun terjadi perdebatan, pemahaman yang mendalam terhadap nilai-nilai Pancasila dapat memperkaya konsep kebangsaan, membentuk persatuan di tengah perbedaan etnis, budaya, dan agama. Konvergensi antara Pancasila dan Islam, seperti yang terlihat dari ajaran Nabi Muhammad dan pemikiran mahasiswa Islam, dapat menjadi landasan harmoni dalam masyarakat Indonesia. Potensi konflik antara prinsip-prinsip Pancasila dan nilai-nilai Islam dapat diatasi melalui pemahaman yang mendalam dan dialog yang terbuka. Dengan demikian, Pancasila dan Islam dapat menjadi fondasi yang kuat untuk menjaga harmoni dalam kehidupan berbangsa di Indonesia yang beragam.

Abstract

Water is essential for life, but not all people can access tap water. In fact, many people use ground water, which is not measured its purity, to supply household, places of worship, public facilities, private offices, government offices, and etc. This problem was also observed on Al-Ikhwan Mosque building Jl. Masjid RT 01 RW 08 Rancagong Village, Legok District, Tangerang Regency, Banten Province. In addition, in this place the water installation was not available. Therefore, it was feasible to carry out community service activities in that location regarding to clean water supply and installation. The method of this project were (1) drilling to make wells as clean water supply, (2) Calculating the need for clean water as the basis in determining the capacity and the type of water pump, (3) building water storage (equipped with a floating sensor as a control media turn the pump on or off automatically), and (4) piping to support distribution system of clean water from well to tap. This method was expected to meet Indonesian National Standard of clean water installation system. This project was supported by lecturers / instructors as their responsibility to practice Tridharma of higher education. Cadets/students was also involved in this project so they can demonstrate their knowledge about standard of building facilities in society.

Abstract

Ancaman dari kebakaran dapat menimbulkan dampak yang serius, termasuk kerugian materi dan bahkan hilangnya nyawa. Tindakan pencegahan menjadi suatu keharusan untuk menghindari, mencegah, dan mengurangi risiko kebakaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah merancang serta membangun sistem deteksi asap berbasis sensor dan mikrokontroler, yang dapat efektif mendeteksi potensi bahaya kebakaran di dalam rumah atau gedung baik dikawasan perkantoran maupun dikawasan bandar udara. Metode penelitian menggunakan model Prototyping, dengan komponen-komponen utama seperti sensor asap, mikrokontroler, LED, dan buzzer alarm. Sistem yang dihasilkan memberikan peringatan dini melalui alarm terkait potensi risiko kebakaran, dan diharapkan dapat mendeteksi serta mencegah potensi bahaya kebakaran yang mungkin terjadi. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada pengembangan solusi pencegahan kebakaran yang efektif dan dapat diterapkan secara luas, sehingga secara spesifik meningkatkan keselamatan di rumah, gedung perkantoran, dan di sekitar bandar udara. Dengan implementasi sistem deteksi asap ini, diharapkan dapat mengurangi risiko kebakaran, memberikan peringatan dini, dan pada akhirnya, melindungi nyawa dan harta benda.

Abstract

Sebuah penelitian sebelumnya atau penelitian yang relevan memiliki peran yang sangat krusial dalam konteks riset atau artikel ilmiah. Penelitian sebelumnya atau yang relevan berperan dalam menguatkan teori serta fenomena hubungan atau pengaruh antar variabel. Artikel ini mengulas faktor-faktor yang memiliki dampak pada Audit Report Lag, seperti Komposisi Dewan Komisaris Perempuan, Komite Audit Perempuan, Audit Firm Rotasi, Deviden Payout Ratio dan Profitabilitas. Maksud penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk merumuskan hipotesis mengenai hubungan antar variabel, yang nantinya dapat digunakan sebagai dasar untuk penelitian lebih lanjut. Temuan dari tinjauan literatur ini mencakup beberapa poin penting, yaitu: 1) Adanya pengaruh dari Komposisi Dewan Komisaris Perempuan terhadap Audit Report Lag; 2) Terdapat pengaruh dari Komite Audit Perempuan terhadap Audit Report Lag; 3) Adanya pengaruh dari Rotasi Auditor terhadap Audit Report Lag; 4)Deviden Payout Ratio dan 5) Profitabilitas memiliki pengaruh terhadap Audit Report Lag.

Abstract

Musholla sebagai fasilitas umum sering kali terabaikan dan kurang mendapat perhatian dari akademisi kampus. Padahal tempat ini menjadi sumber pendidikan agama dan ruang interaksi sosial. Permasalahan ini menjadi latarbelakang Tim pengabdian dari Program Studi Teknik Mekanikal Bandara Politeknik Penerbangan Indonesia Curug melaksanakan Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) berupa pemasangan dan pelatihan perawatan penyejuk udara (Air Conditioner/AC) di Mushola Al-Barokah. Kegiatan ini bertujuan agar udara di dalam mushola lebih terjaga sehingga meningkatkan kenyamanan. Metode yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan ini meliputi: peninjauan mushola yang layak untuk dijadikan lokasi pengabdian, analisa teknis pemasangan AC, diskusi dengan mitra, dan evaluasi kegiatan pengabdian. Hasil kegitan ini menunjukkan bahwa secara umum Mushola Al-Barokah menjadi lebih nyaman untuk kegiatan keagamaan dan aktivitas lainnya.

Abstract

In Indonesia, the protection of indigenous peoples' rights in the context of the aviation industry based on Pancasila values faces complex challenges. Although there have been efforts to establish a legal basis that respects these rights, their implementation in the aviation sector is still limited. This research aims to explore the implementation of Pancasila values in the protection of indigenous peoples' rights in the aviation sector and identify collaborative steps that can be taken by the government, the aviation industry, and other stakeholders. Using a descriptive qualitative approach through literature studies, this study evaluates challenges such as the lack of participation of indigenous peoples in aviation project decisions and the lack of effective law enforcement. The results show that cooperation between governments, airlines, civil society, and indigenous peoples is essential to strengthen the protection of their rights. It is also necessary to evaluate the impact of airport development policies to ensure the protection of land rights and the sustainability of indigenous peoples' culture. The involvement of indigenous peoples in the planning of aviation projects is a concrete step to ensure the alignment of aviation infrastructure development with Pancasila values and the rights of indigenous peoples
