Abstract

Sumber energi terbarukan semakin mendapat perhatian, hal ini disebakan karena berkurangnya cadangan minyak dan meningkatnya kesadaran manusia akan lingkungan. Biofuel secara umum adalah bahan bakar berasal dari tumbuhan dan hewan. Blending adalah suatu proses pencampuran untuk mendapatkan produk yang memenuhi spesifikasi. Pada penelitian ini metode yang digunakan adalah blending biofuel dengan kerosin yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik perbandingan rasio blending biofuel dengan kerosin. Analisa yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah bilangan asam, massa jenis, bilangan penyabunan, flash point, distilasi, dan bilangan iodin. Variabel penelitian rasio blending 5:95, 10:90, 15:85, 20:80, 25:75, 30:70. Nilai terbaik pada penelitian ini terdapat pada blending dengan rasio B30, bilangan asam diperoleh rasio blending B30 0,08 mg/gram, massa jenis pada rasio blending B30 800 Kg/m3, bilangan penyabunan pada rasio blending B30 2,24 mg/gram, flash point terbaik pada rasio blending B30 51 °C, distilasi 90% pada rasio blending B30 298 °C dan bilangan iodin pada rasio blending B30 0,75 gram I2/gram minyak.

Abstract

The layout design at Warehouse III of XYZ Company is expected to solve the problem of material flow patterns and material movement distances which are currently still ineffective. Designing the right layout is carried out to increase warehouse productivity and help the company regulate the flow of processes and material movements so that it runs easier and smoother. This study aims to provide an efficient and effective layout of the proposed warehouse layout, by paying attention to the flow pattern and the optimal area area in increasing the productivity of warehouse III. Therefore, the Systematic Layout Planning (SLP) method is used in designing the layout of Warehouse III. The results of the study showed that there was a significant difference in the total material displacement distance from the initial layout. In the proposed layout, there is a reduction in the material displacement distance from 75.2  to 60.4 .

Abstract

XYZ is a company engaged in the processing of oil and gas, serving as a crude oil storage facility. The issue concerns the workload and work shifts of the employees. This study aims to determine whether there is an impact of workload and work shifts on operator employees. The method used in this study is quantitative. The research results show that the workload has a significant effect on employee work stress, as obtained from the t-test with a significant value of 0.022 < 0.05, which means that the workload has a significant partial effect on work stress. Meanwhile, work shifts do not have a significant effect on employee work stress, as obtained from the t-test with a significant value of 0.196 > 0.05, meaning work shifts do not have a significant partial effect on work stress. This is because the majority of operators in the company have worked for more than 1 year, which means that operators have already adapted to the shift changes. This study is expected to contribute to reducing the factors that can cause work stress among operator employees. Improvement recommendations are proposed to increase unit effectiveness, such as establishing a maintenance schedule, checking and replacing components, and operator training. It is hoped that this research can contribute to increasing the effectiveness of unit use and company productivity.

Abstract

Inventory is goods reserved for a specific purpose. PT.XYZ certainly holds supplies of the materials they have. This research aims to calculate the economic order quantity, optimal order frequency, safety stock, and reorder point of existing drill pipe inventory at PT.XYZ using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method. The results of this research are that companies should place orders for 3 ½" drill pipes: with a total of 983 joints, 4" drill pipes with a total of 967 joints, and 5" drill pipes with a total of 134 joints for economical orders. Then, companies should also place orders for 3 ½" drill pipes: 8 times, 4" drill pipes 8 times, and 5" drill pipes 6 times for optimal ordering frequency. Apart from that, companies should carry out safety stock on 3 ½" drill pipes with 375 joints, 4" drill pipes with 112 joints, and 5" drill pipes with 15 joints

Abstract

PT. Pertamina RU V Terminal Lawe - Lawe is a company that has a crude oil storage area with a capacity of 800,000 barrels in 7 tanks and a capacity of 1,000,000 in 2 tanks. This research aims to find out whether employees understand the use of automatic inline samplers and to determine the effect of using automatic inline samplers on employee performance in operations. The results of the calculations of this research using linear regression, namely the Validity Test of variables (X) and (Y), on average obtained a calculated r value > r table 5% (0.05), Reliability Test of the two variables (X) and (Y) shows reliability or fulfillment with variables (X = 0.837) and (Y = 0.890), Normality Test using the Shapiro – Wilk test 0.152 > 0.05, Heteroscedacity Test shows 0.393 > 0.05, Autocorrelation Test shows 1.708, Linearity Test shows that the value is 0.156 > 0.05. The Effect of Using an Automatic Inline Sampler on Employee Performance with the equation Y = 0.188 + 1.014X. with a correlation coefficient of 0.883 and a coefficient of determination of 0.779 or 77.9%. And the t test obtained t count > t table or (t count 10.617 > 1.690 t table).

Abstract

The energy industry, including PT Pertamina Hulu Kalimantan Timur (PHKT), faces serious challenges in managing the fuel supply of Ship X, which is vital for worker mobility, due to the high frequency of deliveries (3-4 times a month) which increases operational costs. This study aims to forecast the  refueling of Ship X using  the Seasonal Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (SARIMA) model and evaluate the accuracy. The accuracy evaluation was carried out by integrating the Mean Absolute Error (MAE), Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD), and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) metrics. Secondary data on the weekly fuel consumption of Ship X from PT Pertamina Hulu Kalimantan Timur (PHKT) Penajam Supply Base (PSB) for the period January to September 2024 was used in this study. Based on the analysis, the SARIMA model (1,1,0)(0,1,1)6 was identified as a statistically significant model and suitable for forecasting. The forecast results for the next 13 weeks, starting from week 40, with an initial prediction of 1794.37 liters. The evaluation of the accuracy of the model resulted in an MAE of 143.66 liters, a MAD of 107 liters, and a MAPE of 8.33%. This accuracy evaluation  provides a deeper understanding of the model's performance, which contributes to more informed fuel inventory management and improved operational efficiency of Ship X. Abstract

Peramalan kebutuhan HCl di PT. ABC sangat penting untuk menjaga kelangsungan unit operasional demineralisasi. Penelitian ini menganalisis data historis penggunaan HCl dari bulan April 2023 hingga November 2023, dengan menerapkan metode moving average untuk periode 2, 3, 4, dan 5. Analisis ini bertujuan untuk menentukan metode peramalan yang paling akurat dalam memprediksi kebutuhan HCl untuk bulan Desember 2023. Hasil Analisis menunjukkan bahwa metode moving average 4 periode memberikan nilai rata-rata deviasi absolut (MAD) terkecil sebesar 11.6875 dan rata-rata persentase kesalahan absolut (MAPE) sebesar 6%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa metode tersebut mampu memberikan prediksi yang lebih tepat dibandingkan dengan periode lainnya. Meskipun moving average 2 periode dan 4 periode menghasilkan nilai peramalan yang sama, perbedaan nilai MAD dan MAPE menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan periode yang lebih panjang dapat mengurangi penyiaran dalam peramalan. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi penting bagi PT. ABC dalam mengoptimalkan penyediaan HCl dan meningkatkan efisiensi operasional. Rekomendasi untuk penelitian lebih lanjut meliputi penggunaan data historis yang lebih representatif, serta penyesuaian model peramalan sesuai dengan perubahan kondisi pasar dan faktor eksternal yang mempengaruhi proses produksi.

Abstract

Program "Tegur Jika Saya Tidak Aman (TEMAN)” bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keselamatan kerja dengan mendorong budaya saling menegur di antara pekerja ketika menghadapi potensi bahaya. Penelitian ini mengevaluasi implementasi program TEMAN di suatu perusahaan dan mengidentifikasi kendala-kendala yang dihadapi melalui metode USG (Urgency, Seriousness, Growth). Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa 87,5% pekerja telah mengimplementasikan program, namun terdapat enam kendala utama yang ditemukan termasuk pimpinan yang belum menjadi teladan, preferensi pekerja untuk tidak menerapkan program, serta sosialisasi yang kurang efektif. Ketidakmauan menerima teguran, rasa sungkan dalam menegur, dan kekhawatiran akan menyinggung rekan kerja juga menjadi masalah yang signifikan. Untuk mendapatkan pemahaman lebih mendalam, tiga kendala prioritas dianalisis menggunakan fishbone diagram yang mengidentifikasi faktor penyebab dari aspek manusia, metode, dan proses. Dalam aspek manusia, kurangnya kesadaran pimpinan dan pekerja menjadi sorotan utama. Dari sisi metode, sosialisasi yang kurang efektif diperhatikan, dan pada aspek proses, pelaksanaan program yang tidak teratur berkontribusi pada masalah ini. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, solusi yang diusulkan mencakup peningkatan sosialisasi kepada pimpinan agar dapat berfungsi sebagai teladan bagi pekerja, pemberian penghargaan kepada pekerja yang aktif menerapkan program, serta peningkatan variasi dan efektivitas dalam metode sosialisasi. Implementasi solusi ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan keberhasilan program TEMAN dan menjaga budaya keselamatan kerja, serta mempertahankan zero LTI (lost time injury) di lingkungan kerja.

Abstract

HR plays a very important role in the success of an organization. To ensure that a job is achieved, the worker's workload should not exceed the worker's capacity to complete a job. Observations were carried out directly on 8 production worker sections carried out for three months at PT. Mulia Jaya Mandiri Balikpapan (PT. MJM) with 10 observations for 1 field of work in each type of production work. The results of the workload survey can be caused by the limited capacity of workers in processing their work or when processing information at PT. MJM, it was found that there were levels of workload experienced by workers, such as a worker who completed 2 jobs simultaneously with limited capacity. Based on the problems above, it is necessary to measure the workload of PT. MJM workers, where this can make the company's performance increase and reduce overtime working hours with the help of the Full Time Equivalent (FTE) method where the first step is to determine worker resources, determine cycle time, determine worker rating factor, determine allowance, calculate normal time and standard worker time, determine the FTE value and after that it is entered into the FTE assessment index the results obtained 2 jobs fall into the overload category, namely purchasing workers and casing rolling operator workers 1 with FTE values ​​​​of 1.29 and 1.39. It is known that the cause of the workload at PT. MJM, namely the lack of worker resources in the production section, due to the purchasing section, and the 2 Machine operator workers (Casing Threading) lacking worker resources coupled with the high consumer demand in November 2024 - January 2025. Recommendations for improvement by rearranging job descriptions for production workers and adding the number of competent and expert production worker resources in purchasing work and casing rolling machine operators, so that they can be more effective and efficient at PT. MJM

Abstract

PT. Mulia Jaya Mandiri ialah perusahaan swasta nasional yang memiliki kemampuan untuk memproduksi peralatan migas dan menyediakan layanan yang berkaitan dengan pengoperasian industri migas yang beroperasi sebagai bengkel umum. Tenaga kerja yang dimiliki sebuah organisasi berperan krusial selaku fondasi serta penggerak dalam proses pembangunan perusahaan. Setiap karyawan dihadapkan pada tanggung jawab kerja tertentu, tanggung jawab kerja ini mencakup aspek fisik maupun psikis. Ketika beban tersebut melampaui kapasitas individu, hal ini berpotensi menimbulkan konsekuensi negative. Oleh karena itu untuk menghitung beban kerja mental yang di alami pekerja di PT.Mulia Jaya Mandiri Balikpapan digunakan metode NASA-TLX guna mengkaji beban kerja mental yang pekerja hadapi yang perlu melaksanakan berbagai aktivitas dalam pekerjaannya untuk mengetahui beban kerja mental yang dirasakan oleh pekerja di PT. Mulia Jaya Mandiri disebarkannya kuesioner kepada 33 responden. Dari data temuan angket dianalisis beban kerja mental memanfaatkan pendekatan NASA-TLX. Tahapan pertama dibuatlah pembobotan yang berwujud perbandingan dua arah yang mencakup 15 indikator. Pada tahap selanjutnya, dilakukan proses pemberian nilai dengan cara menentukan skor pada enam aspek dari beban kerja mental, menggunakan skala penilaian dari 0 hingga 100. Dari hasil kalkulasi dengan memanfaatkan pendekatan NASA-TLX ditemukan atas 33 pegawai di PT Mulia Jaya Mandiri, sebanyak 16 orang pegawai tergolong pada kategori beban kerja mental yang tinggi, sementara 17 lainnya masuk dalam kategori beban kerja mental yang sangat tinggi.
